He put that at the end. |
Not to mention many of these so-called nigerians are of questionable ancestry really. |
I hope the op and his fellow crooks noticed most nigerian women have deserted this section due to the excessive number of eggheads and rascals that abound here. Being nigerian is no reason to hang around ugly egotistical maniacs simply because they claim the same nationality as one. |
Most, if not all, of the artists who created these sculptures are unknown and lost in the annals of history, yet their legacy remains till this day. They did a lot to help the image of the black african man and their value cant be overrated. Like the memorials to the unknown soldiers, i think they deserve some recognition. Looking at the nok sculptures, for examples, is always a rewarding experience. Likewise many other ones across nigeria. Some of these Artworks are also not necessarily associated with rituals, but seem to have been done for purely aesthetic reasons- a wonder for that time, centuries ago. |
I was going through some pictures of ancient nigerian art, and i must say, much of it was pretty impressive , surreal and whimsical. |
I dont think being nigerian means one cant dress tastefully. Curves or no curves. It depends on the image one is trying to portray i should think. |
Btw, if he's the juju type and you want to give that up as well, please run as fast as your legs will carry you. |
It depends. If he's going to hinder your faith, then you might have to. If he were your husband then that's different. Men typically have no problem breaking up with their girlfriends when in a similar situation. Its usually the women who hesitate and dilly dally when they're the ones making the decision. In a way, its understandable due to the scarcity of good men, but at the same time you have to avoid what could lead you astray. Another question is: how old are you. Not meant to be offensive, but if you're say over 33 then you might have to stick with your boyfriend unless you have a very strong mind. Anyway, pray over it before making a decision. Pray by yourself that is. |
^nice story. You should really open a different thread for things like these because this one was opened solely to cause strife. And i have no idea why people dont consider it a priority to collate the history so the younger generation can have an idea of their heritage cos currently far too many yoruba youths (especially the ones abroad) dont know much about even their hometowns talkless other places. |

hmm, goodluck changed his outfit. |
the violence seems to be directed towards the poorer parts of town. why is that so i wonder. and the northerners really do have higher poverty levels than the south. gej should address this. |
Bigs ups to ty bello. She did a great job. The photos are good and she really brought out a different look to genevieve. I might check her (ty bello) out someday, if she does regular people. |
madam tinubu of lagos was a slave trader who amended her ways. |
i dont really understand why his body had to be dumped in the sea. anyway, quite a lot of mystery about this matter. |
anything fresh- ie no concentrate. but i prefer water best. however, @ topic, i'd go with ribena because it can be diluted, but i dont think it's as popular as it used to be. so, probably a tie between 5 alive and chivita. i'm no expert on this though. Just guessing. |
^^that doesnt sound right, if you dont mind my saying so. |
i wasnt going to post on a cork topic, but i have to point out, like i said on the other light/dark thread, the attraction of light skin women for jet black men, may be nature's way of balancing something. light-light combinations in africans, if left unchecked and continually enforced from generation to generation, might lead to some form of albinism [or] genetic mutations. just my opinion and i could be wrong. |
hmm. i saw this photo yesterday. |
cool. why not do a roses are red thingy as well. |
