i really dont know what the anti-mother brigade are saying here.

some are even going so far as to start bringing up wild stories of whatever.

they are not married- simple as abc. Any responsible mother would do the same thing his mother did.

IF they get married, then people should start complaining about mother's interference.

like it's so unusual to see girls camping out at their boyfriend's house anyway? Does that mean it's right? And is that a guarantee they'll get married? No it's not.

now, will the girl still complain if the mother meets other girlfriends at the guy's place and gives them their marching orders?

Am Married, anybody that comes to my house no-matter the relationship, you're a stranger and you have no right to decide in my house. whether you like it or not, you have to abide on what you see or
if you're married, that's a different kettle of fish.

the guy in question is not married.

Read the guys post in detail to understand what i am saying.

yeah everyone should move on.i guess we all can behave anyway we want without minding the cosequences on what we are doing.
what consequences? huh

the girl and her boyfriend were in the wrong here.

they were very disrespectful to the mother.

if indeed the mum is very controlling, then the son should wise up and arrange things so there's no clash between her and his girl.

was the mother supposed to keep quiet for the duration of her stay and just listen to them banging each other every night?  huh Not all mothers can do that.

there seems to be in the posters mind that he has been caged by the mum activities for a long time
since when? huh

when she was changing his diapers?

everybody should move on abeg.

the guy should let it go and be wiser next time.

the girl should overlook it since what the mother was telling her was for her own good. Did she not know the mum was religious?

yes, his mum was rather direct. Older people can be that way even though it's annoying.

Politics › Re: A-z Photos Of Dr. Fayemi's Victory Celebration In Akure by tpiah: 1:39pm On Oct 18, 2010
@tpiah, Fayemi's mum is not 4rm Akure, she is 4rm Isan-Ekiti. Fayemi came 2 Akure because Ondo-State is being rule by one of the progressive parties(in Which fayemi is part of). He slept in Akure because the rest of progressive members (like Fashola and others) could meet in Akure and go for the innaguration ceremony 2gether. Fayemi has neva been Governor b4 in Ekiti, it was Ayo Fayose.
thanks.

@wesley80

better save your breath over those ones.

some people get a kick out of being self defeatist and would rather lick foreign arse even if the foreigners owning the arse tell them to stop doing that.
Politics › Re: Goodbye America, Welcome Nigeria by tpiah: 1:34pm On Oct 18, 2010
the guy spent 22 years in america.

e don try.

though no doubt some people have spent longer sha.

and, no need to announce your departure to all and sundry, imo.

discretion is the better part of valour- bad belle people full everywhere whether in nigeria or overseas.

mobo444 dances to the sound of his own drum.

he's the one drumming and also the one swaying to the drum.

anyway, by inner london do you mean peckham or did you mean to name a posh area but nothing came to mind while you were typing.

princess mia and princess forever.

not bad for chick lit.

nicely wraps up the whole series (havent read them all though) and occasionally it's nice to know how the rich live and name drop.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Takes Over From Ojukwu As Eze Ndi Ibo Gburugburu by tpiah: 2:54am On Oct 18, 2010
his expression is hilarious.

he still looks wholly Ijaw though.

I only see the Igbo in his name, not his face.

just saying.

Politics › Re: Why Is America So Blessed? by tpiah: 2:10am On Oct 18, 2010
What Africans FAIL to realize

is that Black Americans have more in common with their OPPPRESSOR.  The White man, THAN WITH AFRICANS.

personally, I feel more comfortable around White People (who I ignore) Than Africans (whose culture -I Cannnot get with)
you arent saying anything new bro.

of course AAs have more in common with white americans [not the recent immigrants] than black africans.

you've both been living and coexisting together for over 400 years, for better for worse.
Culture › Re: What does the word 'Biafra' mean? by tpiah: 1:57am On Oct 18, 2010
if biafra had a prefix [which i doubt but never say never], it might shed more light on the issue.

and yes, bight means bay or curve between land and water.
Romance › Re: Are Igbo Girls The Most Beautiful Girls In Nigeria? by tpiah: 1:48am On Oct 18, 2010
So it seems. A cab took me round a major town one afternoon (I was there for biz) I saw dozens of young women. Not even one u could describe as averagely good-looking. Yet in other towns every other girl you see is a princess. This has to be more than coincidence
was this in nigeria, or america?
Celebrities › Re: The Halfcast Take Over, Niaja Girls Watch Out O ! Who's Hotter? by tpiah: 1:43am On Oct 18, 2010
^^isnt lola the girl in the first photo?

she's added a little weight but facially resembles oyibo a bit too much.
Celebrities › Re: The Halfcast Take Over, Niaja Girls Watch Out O ! Who's Hotter? by tpiah: 1:40am On Oct 18, 2010
lola don become oyibo finish.

her black genes are too recessive abeg.

thought the oyibo chomosomes na dem suppose take back seat, not be dominant.
Romance › Re: Are Igbo Girls The Most Beautiful Girls In Nigeria? by tpiah: 12:28pm On Oct 17, 2010
^^the parts of the southwest they lived in or move with.

a while back, a guy on nl was actually claiming beautiful people in the west get discriminated against.

I didnt really believe him though- i think generally, yorubas just consider facially pretty yoruba females as more likely to be proud or arrogant. A big no no in traditional culture roles for women.

i could be wrong perhaps.
Romance › Re: Are Igbo Girls The Most Beautiful Girls In Nigeria? by tpiah: 12:23pm On Oct 17, 2010
^^they say it's because they see a lot more uglier girls than pretty ones, but imo that may depend on the region they're familiar with.
Politics › Re: A-z Photos Of Dr. Fayemi's Victory Celebration In Akure by tpiah: 11:58am On Oct 17, 2010
