My GCMS NOTES finally arrived after a long wait..

It’s stated that there was limited information regarding my employment. However, I submitted my employment letter, company ID card, payslips, introduction letter from the company and my leave approval letter

This is the exact same mail sent to me. That’s why I said earlier that they have limited the issuing of TRV

Biometrics on the 7th,
I have 5 Schengen visas, one SA, one Turkey, one Kenya and one Ireland visas as part of my travel history.
My POF was N11M and $3k (trip for 11 days)
I submitted ALL relevant docs including my marriage Certificate.
The only Reason for refusal is ‘Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)’.

I concluded within my myself that these guys have limited number of TRV to be issued.
Whichever way, I will definitely apply for GCMS note and return my application later this year.

If you don't believe that one can get a Schengen visa through the France Embassy within 5 business days, then you're new to the France Embassy.

Most frequent travelers who apply for Schengen visas through the France Embassy get decisions within 5 business days.

My wife went for biometrics on Friday, January 12, and she received a passport pick-up message on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. That was just like 2 or 3 business days, and she was granted a 3-year Shengen visa.

Then I'm new to their recent development. I got 3 years too in 2021. It expired January but it took nearly 90 days to process. I renewed via Germany and processing time was 15 calendar days.

Thanks for the info. Covid era must have contributed to that. It was my first Schengen visa issued by France, I've always entered via Germany before then.

By the time your monthly expenses are subtracted, this salary is too low for a trip that could take up to 600k.. to go and attend a conference.. and even after the 600k there should be enough left in your bank account so that you have something for yourself on return. The visa officer will be wondering why you want to spend at least 6 to 7 times your income for a 2 day conference and all the way in the UK. I personally do not think this salary can work or for this reason.. what about other conferences in your home place or around Nigeria given the cost of this to you? your intention and how genuine this trip will be doubted… but it’s not for me to decide. goodluck
