@Michelle70 the problem with the Nigerian political scene is hydra headed. It goes beyond ethno-religious coloration.

There is hunger in the land with a lot of betrayals going on among brothers just for a spoon of porridge. The issue of ethnicity and religious bias came up ONLY because the people are not getting what they deserve - GOOD GOVERNANCE.

If we have good leadership, ethnicity/religion won't matter.

The point I was trying to make with my previous comment is that, some of us (like me) do not do anything to hide that we are from Nigeria, and sales still come in.

Some others use VPN to change their IP. They also change their names to foreign ones. All because they believe that the Nigerian identity will prevent them from making sales.

To each his own. But PLEASE, whatever you do, do not do Number 3 above. It tends to backfire even if it doesn't make the buyers suspect you may be from Nigeria.

Owning to d bad reputation the country already has globally, I don't think anyone would want to intentionally say he/she is a Nigerian (especially when d monetary transaction is in progress)

You can only do that when the transaction has been successfully carried out, so as to portray a good image for ur country.
