CrimeLawyer Stabs Husband To Death In Ibadan [PHOTOS] by Treash(op): 3:41pm On Feb 04, 2016
A certain man identified as Oyelowo Ajanaku Ayediran was on Monday,
stabbed to death by his wife, Yewande Ayediran nee Fatoki, in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

According to reports on Havilah Magazine, Yewande, a lawyer, is the daughter of one Honorable Fatoki and had been married to Ayediran for three years without a child. On Monday night, she heard her husband had a son outside wedlock. This, reports alleged generated into a heated argument between the couple which resulted in a squabble and the eventual stabbing of her husband on the shoulder.

Oye had gone to the hospital to be treated and the stab wound on the
right shoulder was stitched. Thereafter, he went home to sleep. However, at the early hours of Tuesday morning while he was still sleeping due to the effect of the drugs he had taken, his wife reportedlyslaughtered him and locked the door refusing to call for help and ignoring his weak plea for help.

After a while, reports say his
aggrieved wife called on the Landlady who upon response saw him in the pool of his own blood. He died few minutes later.

The lady, having the powerful backing
of her family is reportedly on the run
and hiding from the police. According to claims by her alleged powerful political family, she is mentally unstable. The general belief is that the Fatokis are presently using all their influence to cover the story surrounding the death of the deceased. The wife is a lawyer and a staff of Directorate of Public Prosecution, at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan.

As at press time, the story has taken a new dimension as Yewande is allegedly claiming to be innocent. Meanwhile, the State Police Public Relation Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu said the Commissioner of Police has directed murder case be taken over by the Crominal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Iyaganku for investigation.

The second pics was the first time he was stabbed.

CrimeSynagogue Building Collapse: Court To Rule On February 8. by Treash(op): 12:01am On Jan 28, 2016
The Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has fixed February 8 to rule on the applications filed by the two engineers indicted in the collapse of the six-storey building belonging to the Synagogue Church Of All Nations.

The collapsed building which came down in the Ikotun area of Lagos State in September 2014 led to the death of 116 persons, mostly nationals of South Africa. In the application, the engineers, Oladele Ogundele and Akinbola Fatiregun, who have been charged on 110 counts of involuntary manslaughter, are challenging the validity of the service of the charges on them.

The Presiding Judge, Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo, had on December 11, 2015, granted an application by the
prosecution to serve the engineers through substituted means by pasting
the court processes on the front doors of their residential houses in the Alagbado and Ikeja areas of
Lagos. This was done to compel the
engineers to come before the court to face the charges against them. Through their lawyers, however, the two defendants are contending that the order to serve them by substituted means was wrongfully granted by Justice Lawal-Akapo.

PoliticsWhy I Didn’t Attend Kogi Inauguration – Faleke. by Treash(op): 11:30pm On Jan 27, 2016
Deputy Governor-elect of Kogi State, Mr. James Faleke, has said he was not invited to Wednesday’s swearing-in ceremony and that he had no reason to attend the event. He explained that this was because he was challenging the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission to declare the November 21 governorship election inconclusive in court. In an interview with Channels TV Faleke, who has also challenged the decision of the All Progressives Congress to choose Bello over him as replacement for the late Prince Abubakar Audu, described the choice of Bello as a coup against the people of Kogi.

The APC chieftain stressed that he would not accept the position of deputy governor of the state. He said contrary to reports that the party was making efforts to reconcile aggrieved parties in the election, nobody had reached out to him. Faleke, who was the late Abubakar’s running mate, also slammed the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun, for failing to do what he considered the right thing following Audu’s death.

“I am speaking before Nigerians and I am making it very clear that nobody reached out to me. Nobody from our party’s national secretariat or the state secretariat of our party ever reached out to me on this issue,” Faleke said

“The only time they every reached out to me was on December 31… when the chairman of our party announced the decision of the National Working Committee to all of us to say the NWC had adopted Alhaji Yahaya Bello as the governorship candidate for the December 5 election.” Faleke said he and some other members had made it clear that they felt that the party should have called them earlier to discuss the issue.

“Thereafter, there was no consultation until today. I want to make it clear that the party chairman, Chief John Oyegun, that we saw as a father has decided to champion a cause that is anti-people. That is why we were not invited (for the inauguration),” he added. He stressed that he would only settle the problem out of court only on the condition that Bello agrees to resign as governor. He argued that his actions did not amount to anti-party activities, adding that the party could only be supreme when its activities are based on equity and justice.

“For me I see what has happened in the party as a civilian coup d’état. It is a civilian coup d’état because if such a situation happens in the military, those behind it will face the firing squad,” he said, adding that the best way forward was to head to the court.

He added that Bello rather than him should be accused of anti-party activities as all of his actions have been aimed at protecting the party and ensuring that the Peoples Democratic Party does not snatch victory from it.

He said, “It was Alhaji Yahaya Bello that worked against the party. He took the party to court before the election, took our late leader, Audu to court before the election and he lost his polling unit to PDP, lost his ward to PDP and lost his local government area to PDP. And I made it clear that day (during the meeting) that if 50 per cent of us seated in that hall had lost our polling units, lost our wards and our local governments, there would have been nothing for us to celebrate.”

He said he had requested Oyegun to get the party to sue INEC to declare the results instead of declaring the November 21 election inconclusive, but the chairman declined, saying the party could not be seen to be taking its own government to court.

RomanceHow To Steal A Girl, If She Has A Boyfriend. by Treash(op): 3:17pm On Jan 26, 2016
Though I not an activist of guys snatching another guy's woman, buh I think this gonna help u, especially for those who truly have the intrest.

So in this part, I’m going to tell you
the five not-so-obvious moves and
the five sneaky dirty things you can do
to steal a girlfriend from right under
her guy’s nose.

1. Get to know everything she can tell.
This is important if she has a
boyfriend. Once you’re friends with
her, you need to become something
more than that.
So talk about her favorite dates, her
kind of movies, the little annoying stuff
she’s done, and everything else.
Just to warm her up, you start off by
narrating the time you ripped your
pants off while trying to jump into a
girl’s house. Just as long as you open
up, she will too, and you know what,
she’s going to love talking to you!

2. Are you better than him?
The test of manliness. Talk about her
guy. Pop the question. Ask her what
kind of a guy he is. If you’re getting
into her good books, she will keep it
simple. Then ask her what she thinks
of you.

Compare both the scores out aloud.
Laugh and talk about what you can do
to tilt the balance in your favor. And
then get back to talking about how
they met, and more blah, blah and
blah about her guy.

3. Make her love you!
She’s in love with her man, but that
could change. Impress her, be a man
around her. Give her the space when
she meets her pals or is on the phone
when both of you are together, so she
can be comfortable when you’re
around.
Remember her special days, her
deadlines, and anything else, even if it
is really trivial. Show her that even her
little things are really important to you.
And wait for the good times.

4. Be her other guy.
Now get this straight, you be her
other guy, not her back-up guy. If you
find that she’s just using you as her
Man Friday when he’s not around,
walk out.
She should respect you and want you.
Don’t go trailing her at every
opportunity you get. If you really want
to steal a girlfriend, you need to keep
it slow, and talk to her once in a while,
at least once a day if you work at the
same place, or alternate days or less if
it’s over the phone. Let her miss you
when you aren’t around. Drive her to
work if you can, give her the attention,
and basically, treat her like a princess
when you’re together.

5. Give her what her guy can’t give.
Pamper her. You may not be around
her all the time, and her guy may be.
But that doesn’t matter. Because your
one hour around her can do more
damage to him than all day.
Talk and be genuinely interested in
her. If you get a call when she’s with
you, see if you can cancel and call
back, and let her see that. She should
know how special the times both of
you share is to you. And more than
anything else, maintain intense eye
contact with her when both of you
talk. Make her feel like she’s the only
thing in the world you care about
when you’re with her.

CrimePolicemen On Domestic Errands To Be Arrested. by Treash(op): 7:02am On Jan 14, 2016
The chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC), Mr Mike Okiro, has directed that any policeman found on domestic errand or escorting unauthorised persons will be arrested.
Okiro, who stated this in Abuja yesterday, while addressing some critical issues concerning the Nigeria Police Force, stated that the PSC has worked out a blueprint of class of Very Important Personalities (VIPs), who should enjoy the VIP protection with specific duties and any officer caught doing domestic job would not be tolerated anymore.
He said, “The issue of policemen performing domestic duties, as you can all agree with me, has generated much uproar and even condemnation as it is capable of eroding the public esteem of members of the NPF. “To stem the tide, we have worked out a blueprint of the class of VIPs that should enjoy the privilege of attaching police officers to provide VIP protection with their specific duties clearly spelt out.
“The matter is awaiting the consent of the relevant authorities, before we can start its implementation. This policy is very critical and is aimed at shoving up, the professionalism of the Police Force and rekindles the high respect the police deserve in the public eye cum image.”
Okiro added that once the operation if fully put in place, the provost marshal of the police and staff of the PSC will operate jointly and be stationed at domestic airports and some highways to arrest and discipline officers who embark on illegal escorts or guards.
The former Inspector General of Police also clarified the story of lopsidedness in promotion of senior police officers, noting that “of recent, the media carried stories of alleged lopsidedness in the recent promotions and postings of senior police officers (SPOs). I wish to inform you that, there is nothing farther from the truth therein.”

HealthHealth Workers Flee From Suspected Lassa Fever Patient. by Treash(op): 6:28am On Jan 14, 2016
Health workers at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, took to their heels when a patient who was suspected to have been down with Lassa fever was brought to the Medical Emergency Unit of thehospital on Wednesday. According to an attendant at the unit, the middle aged security officer was rushed to the hospital by his colleagues on Wednesday morning after he began bleeding through the nose.

It was gathered that one of the nurses at the unit with the doctor on duty eventually came to the patient’s aid and later directed that a series of tests be conducted on him before he was admitted into the ward. A medic at the unit said that they were taking precautions to ensure that they were wearing protective garment before attending to sick patients to prevent any cross-infection should it be Lassa fever.

The doctor and a senior nurse at the unit also advised the attendants not to panic when patients with symptoms of fever were brought to the hospital. She said, “These bleeding could have been as a result of tuberculosis as he complained that he had been coughing a lot lately.” However, the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, in a telephone conversation with one of our correspondents on Wednesday, said that any health worker or doctor found to have rejected sick patients over unfound claims would be
sanctioned.

Adewole said that such a reaction from health workers who should know better might frustrate ongoing efforts to detect and treat suspected cases of Lassa fever. He insisted that sick patients or those with symptoms of Lassa fever should be taken to LASUTH, as doctors and nurses at the tertiary institution had been trained on how to quickly attend to such infectious diseases.

Adewole said,“ It is an unprofessional behaviour and if we investigate this, we would sanction such health workers. If there is a suspected case of fever, please go to LASUTH, it is a tertiary hospital and they have adequate health professionals to
handle many cases. No one should turn a patient away on the basis of a fever.” The minister said that a man died of Lassa fever at the National Hospital, Abuja on Wednesday.

Adewole said that the patient who came from Plateau State died shortly after he was admitted to the hospital. He said, “The man came in from
Plateau State because he was ill. The healthcare team at the private hospital failed to suspect Lassa fever.” The minister, however, had directed
that all those who had contact with the deceased should be traced.

Adewole noted that no case of Lassa fever had been confirmed in Sokoto and Gombe states; hence the reason the Federal Government would be
delisting them from the list of affected states while it would add Ondo State. He said,“We are removing Gombe and Sokoto states because none of the cases were confirmed but we are adding Ondo State. So, we still have 10 states that have been affected.” Adewole, who had visited Minna, the Niger State capital, one of the affected
states earlier in the day, said that the outbreak had been brought under control.

The minister, who also visited one of the affected communities during the Lassa fever surveillance and nationwide fact-finding visit, told the state Governor, Abubakar Bello, that despite the high rate of fatality in the last few months, efforts by all stakeholders in the country had brought the scourge under control.

“A nationwide alert system is on to track the disease. Except for the case in Plateau, no person-to-person or hospital-acquired infection has been
recorded. So far, things are under control but the state and local governments should put an alert
system in place to enable us to track new cases whenever they happen,” Adewole noted. He added that the Federal Ministry of Health must be notified of any strange death.

The minister blamed the current Lassa fever outbreak on the failure of notification system in the country. He cited the case of Niger State where it
took months after the outbreak before his ministry was notified. The Niger State governor, who was
represented by his deputy, Alhaji Ahmed Ketso, called for the inclusion of traditional healers in disease control programmes, saying they were the first healthcare givers that ruralcdwellers consult.

Meanwhile, a male patient who was receiving treatment for Lassa fever at the isolation ward of the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, in Esan
West Local Government Area of Edo State, was said to be in a critical condition on Wednesday.

A medical personnel at the hospital expressed fears that he had a low chance of survival, having reported late for treatment.

Romance‘i’ve Never Had Orgasm With Any Man, Always Faked It’ by Treash(op): 3:39pm On Jan 02, 2016
Dear Bunmi,

I‘m going through my second divorce from a man I married in the native law and custom way.
I have two daughters by my first husband and one by my second. I went straight from my second husband into another relationship. My current boyfriend is divorced and has three children. He’s besotted with me but I feel nothing for him. I want to be on my own, not stuck in a relationship.
I’m never honest with myself or the man I’m with. I’ve never had an orgasm with a man – I’ve always faked it. Also, although I’m a loving mum to my girls, I know I’m not setting them a good example by having these relationships.
I lost my mother at the age of 16 and my dad lives in another state. I have no sisters or brothers, just friends. I feel such a bitch. I lead men on and once we’ve slept together, I don’t want to know. Please help me pull myself together and break this habit. It’s not fair on the kids or the men. I feel like a horrible person. Mirabene, by e-mail.

It was gathered that the two policemen were on duty at Akpagher Mbatiav along Gboko-Aliade road when the mad man suddenly entered a taxi parked by the owner and switched on the ignition. He eventually rammed the vehicle into them, killing both of them on the spot.

Witnesses at the scene said the owner of the taxi had parked his taxi and was eating at a restaurant when mad man known in the area as Mtomga took over the vehicle.

Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Moses Yamu, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), said two policemen were crushed while on duty on the fateful day.

He, however, denied the report that the vehicle was driven by a mad man, saying that it was the owner that actually used the car to kill the policemen.

He disclosed that the driver lost control of the car following a brake failure and had hit a motorcycle rider before crushing the policemen.

“The taxi driver had a failed brake and lost control of the car. He initially hit a motorcycle before knocking down the two policemen who were at their duty post. They died on the spot. It was not a mad man that drove the car but the owner of the taxi.”
