In any case, I will channel my energy towards making the meeting happen, and it's just a matter of time, so that those who are looking up to it will, at least, gain whatever benefits it brings to the table.
Hi.
Happy Sunday.
Have you fixed this meeting and posted the details for joining? Just want to be sure since the day is almost over here. I've refreshed your post several times today to be sure I've not missed it.

Meanwhile, as regards the date and time. I think it should be on a Sunday, and I'll leave it to you guys to choose the time, say anytime from 4pm Nigerian time because of those that'll go to church. I mean 4pm to say 7pm wouldn't be a bad time, but it's up to you guys anyway.
Hi. Thank you for doing this.
There's a group of us planning to settle in Ontario very soon, by God's grace. We are already at the tail end of the wait, hopefully VFS opens soon and we move. Since you asked us to suggest a date and time, we will not mind having this zoom meeting next Sunday, June 14th, at 6pm. Don't know what others here may suggest. Whatever date and time is finally picked will be fine. Once the link and final schedule is available, I will share it with the rest of the group.
I'm sure there are lots of questions we want to ask you. I will be posting some of them subsequently. Let me ask the group about this and revert.
Again, thank you!

PS: We wouldn't mind you joining us in the group as it was created to get landed folks to help us with much needed info, clarity, and advice. We already got it going and so far, it's been great. We hope to keep the momentum going and pay it forward to those coming behind us after we land too. Let me know what you think please.

[quote author=mbhs139 post=90474512]Good morning all. grin

In any case, like I said in the previous post, I feel it will be better and more productive if we drop the questions or hypothetical scenerio here so that we can all look at it on D-Day. Besides, if I have the time, or I can dedicate a day to answer some of the questions posted here before the zoom meeting.

Payment likely didn’t go through. You would have to wait for about 30 mins to 1 hour to try again. The ‘continue application’ option won’t show until after about 30 mins.
It's sorted. Thanks for your response. I appreciate you... I'm sorry I just got back here to check and respond.

easy to spot a fake testimony.

His so called flawless ielts scores should give him 481 not 478. If above 30 with minus 5 each year. He still can't be on 478.

IP1 and IP2 don't exist anymore.

His visa officer is also accra - they are still holding pr applications of last year but his own is just march 2019

You were right. Some people are sick.
The way people are pointing out his errors to show he's fake tho....
In my mind, you're HELPING HIM perfect his fake story. So next time, he knows exactly how to make sure he sounds legit.

Chai I was really expectant today o at 462, to think I missed it by tie-breaking rule last week...and this my score is without my husband’s ECA o, we requested transcript ( UK degree) to WES which was dispatched since 22nd of July and WES is still yet to recieve it ( kai my regret is using standard intl delivery(Royal Mail) which cannot be tracked, it is lost in transit somewhere. I used same delivery method for mine and didn’t have an issue with it). Now I’m confused, do I request another transcript? Even if I pay for Dhl express delivery I will still wait the 35 days for WES to evaluate, with his ECA our score will be 472. Or do I jst hold on for the next draw and hope it comes down to 462?
We are exactly in the same boat!
Same points. Missed last draw. Was hoping for today. We were already excited and all. Then 464!
Hubby's transcripts had issues with delivery. We already started another process and paid for another one. Thankfully, we got an update on the first one. We thought ok great, but with 462 we won't need it again. Now we have to wait for it...unless cut off drops soon tho.
You're my twinnie in this race. May God help us. Relax. We will testify. smiley

For everyone doing medicals you need the passport or a copy of it.
Actually, we did ours last week with my kids' birth cert. Their Intl passports were not yet ready and we wanted to reschedule but they asked us to come with their original birth certs

Please do we also need international passport for kids during medical test?
We did ours last week. My kids don't have their passports yet, thanks to Alausa and their nonsense. I called the hospital to inform them if we should reschedule. They said no. We should come with their original birth cert from NPC. We did exactly that.

This is subjective. It depends on the field of work.
Look for jobs in your field and see what the qualifications are.
In the requirements section you’d see a list of things you should have to submit an application.
Indeed.ca and LinkedIn are good places to start.
I appreciate your response. God bless you!

Maybe my post wasn't clear.
The couple has gone beyond calculating CRS scores. The point they have is high enough without the spouse's masters evaluation. It's just that they already started the process. So they want to know now if the evaluation will be useful when they get approved and they land in Canada. Will the spouse need the report to get a job in his field? This is the main question. Does everyone, regardless of whether they used it to add to CRS or not need to still evaluate their certs for job search after landing?

If he doesnt need it, since his evaluation can still be modified, he can switch it to course by course evaluation because we know he definitely needs that one for certification later.

haywhy80:
Please, use the CRS tool and make an informed decision. The url is stated below:

Please I want to know if an accompanying spouse needs to evaluate his certificate from Nig in order to add to his CV when job-hunting in Canada.
I'm asking cos my sister and her husband both registered for WES evaluation and she is the PA. They later saw that they may not need his report to boost scores. Now, her report is almost ready while the hubby has issues between WES and his school. So they want to move on without his report and enter the pool when hers is ready. Do you think he will still need his report for job hunting when all is done and they arrive Canada? Or he should switch the evaluation to "course by course" evaluation which he would definitely need for his professional certification after landing?
huh PLEASE I NEED HELP WITH THIS

Thanks for your reply Maam. Do you know if IOM provides this kind of protective cover? I heard q life won't go ahead with the medcal until baby is in 6 months plus prolly because they don't have the shielding/cover.
Oh, I'm sorry I don't know. Others can help clarify that part. Or you can search for the hospital's contact number and ask.

Good morning house. Thanks for all you do. Please this is very urgent.

We recently got ITA and our medicals is soon (3weeks time). Yesterday we found out wifey is pregnant. Please will this affect our medical result? Will they still do the medicals for us? Will this delay our application in any way? Please I need advice please. Especially about people that have gone through the same process or been in the same situation. Thanks.
Well, it won't affect your medical results and won't delay your app. BUT you will have to use a hospital where they give the protective vest to protect the baby from the x-ray. TWO: pray your application is approved on time before the baby is born. If the baby is born here, you will have to get a passport for the baby and pay for the fees to include the baby in your application AND update your POF to cover the new addition to the family. By God's grace, your application will not be delayed so you won't have to worry about that. Finally, if you get approved on time, you will have to speed up your landing plans so madam can meet up with birthing in Canada so that your child can get an automatic Citizenship. You may also have to choose a province where health insurance is issued immediately, e.g. Alberta. Most provinces won't give you free health care until after 3 months. There you may need to get private insurance. Na money. But if you're approved in her second trimester where you still have 3 months to spare, then you can land anywhere (I'm assuming you're not a PNP candidate sha). This last point is just cos of automatic free health care.
I hope my story helps.
Congrats on everything! Regards to mama cannybaby. smiley

Sure. There's a tie breaker. If you didn't submit before May 25, 2019 at 14:40:52 UTC, you won't get an ITA.
