iraybuju: It’s not just a relay bro, you need a 12v step down transformer or any other way to step down 220v to 12v Some relays and contactors accept direct grid voltage and work with it. I recently rigged up one contactor to use at home (attached) as an ATS, and it works very well. Cc numericalguy

Bruteality1: Lol, there seems to a war against Tubular here. I was a novice before I got it.
Will i get Tubular if I had the knowledge i had now? No
Do I recommend Tubular? Yes
Both tubular and lithium are good batteries. It just depends on what you want. I recommend both
You'll even get more usable capacity on Tubular than on Lithium but that's a conversation we don't want to have or we avoid having here How does it handle many partial charging cycles? |

bassdow: Another reason is, Not everyone is Wealthy enough to afford quality Lithium batteries.
Also, the extra Money you make from Selling Used Tubular batteries, some people would even sell them, before they can add more funds to buy another.
What about Ruggedness ?
No matter how much people try, tubular and SLA / GEL batteries are going noWhere anyTime soon.
See eh, if you buy a quality used Tubular / SLA / GEL battery, you could even use it for over 5-more years sef.
No let dealers deceive you; Each battery technology have got their Strong & Weak points. Oh men...this is archaic way of thinking o. I used to think that resale value was a good reason to use LA, but it's really penny wise pound foolish. Case: I bought 4 brand new LA batteries, at 150k per one. The plan was to use for at least 2years and resell so I can buy again. About 2 years down the line, the batteries are getting weak. To replace them now from same brand is around 1m. Even if I resell them as scrap at the best price, I'll still have to add around 600k to replace them. E no pay laslas...I'm switching over to lithium gradually. There are many affordable Lithium batteries on the market now. |

bbally: Can this inverter power only a 2Hp air conditioner considering the starting power draw? OR Can you suggest any other standard inverter either standalone or hybrid that can be used solely for a 2Hp regular air conditioner? I doubt it can start a 2hp air conditioner. I'ld suggest a 10kva inverter for that. However there is a device called a soft starter that can help with that initial surge from AC or fridge. Check online for sellers or DIY procedure. I've seen one diy kit before |

Mrreed: Dami did capacity test but he faced many resistance when he posted the result here and on the telegram group.
Waiting time is the only disadvantage for Deriy packs and some have also been lucky to get it under a month.
From all the major suppliers, brand new hithium 314ah with 1c ratings currently cost 39-40USD,shippong to GuangZhou additional 20USD. Even eve 280k v3 cost is around 40USD/cell The cost of shipping 16 cells to Lagos <= 200k 200A terminal <= 16k Jk200a BMS with 2a <= 70USD 4. inches display 20USD 3.2 Inches 9USD
Without casing, the total cost is circa 1.5m.
You see, even Deriy makes reasonable profit for selling in that range. This is exactly the route I'm taking and it's very cost effective. Abeg where you see that BMS for $70, because Kayla is giving me for over $100 o. Drop your Whatsapp contact let's talk if you don't mind. |

Emmalex83: Good morning bosses in the house. Please i need your input on this. There is a boarding school that called me that they need an solar system that can power their water pump everyday. They have 4 water Sumos of each 3Hp totalling 12Hp. Please i want to know the size of Battery bank, Solar panels and inverter to use for this project. Note:, they use water every morning before they go for classes, also evening time when school closes. On weekends, they use it mostly for washing of clothes and other hostels chores. Someone advised you to have more storage tanks and pump water during the day for their use, and I agree. I think it's cheaper to store water than energy. Plus you can save more by using a pressure pump to send water to higher floors instead of constructing huge, expensive structures to hoist tanks up. Whatever energy is left after filling the tanks should be enough to operate the pump. |

oladele239: Most times the cost of setting up a regular solar installation is far below the cost of procurement a solar gen. However , the solar gen gives room for ease of mobility and requires very easy set up. Infact a DIY is almost what's needed! With a little bit of ingenuity, one can actually pack individual devices into an all in one package. Valto has packaged something like that before. A sibling of mine packed 1.8kw, 1.28kwh, 60a MPPT charge controller into an all in one for an elderly family member of mine; all the major parts were purchased from linnov here. He can testify. |

Nteogwuija: It's Cworth's 12v 2.5kw For a 12v system, a standalone 60a MPPT charge controller can do around 800w max, even if you have 2.5kWp of PV installed. You may have maxed out your controller's capacity. |

AmgAmg: I recently received an inheritance and now have over ₦150-million just sitting here, doing nothing. I need solid advice on how best to invest this money. I’m looking for a moderate to high-yield investment that won’t be affected by the depreciation of the naira.
Let’s be real ….. we’ve all seen how bad the naira has devalued over the years. The last thing I want is to put my money into something, only to wake up in a few years and realize its value has been slashed into half. You know what I mean. Even if the business is in naira, it has to be highly profitable so that currency depreciation won’t eat away it.
I don’t want meaningless or negative suggestions…. only serious, well-thought-out opinions . I’m open to meeting up as well….. to discuss solid business ideas, and trust me, a handsome reward awaits whoever brings the best proposal.
That said, let me be clear: I have the Commissioner of Police and EFCC on speed dial. If anyone thinks this is an opportunity for a scam, just know that any fraudulent attempt will be dealt with the full extent of the law.
If you have a genuine, profitable, and well-researched idea, let’s talk. Bro, I stumbled on your thread purely by happenstance and I'll just drop few opinions of mine: 1. For business opportunities, please be careful of people who can not openly share what they do and who don't have good, visible track record of their successes and FAILURES. 2. There is no such thing as risk free business that stands the test of time. 3. Don't invest all your money at once. Always start small. 4. Enjoy a bit of your inheritance, na wetin you chop you be your own last last. 3. Some persons above mentioned real Estate, and to me that's the best investment i'ld suggest too. Take for example, A. my inlaw got a land in asaba around mud last year for about 3m. Currently the land sells for around 5-6m B. Last week, I went out with my landlady (she's a grandma and a true mother)to check some lands around atan side, we entered from agbara. Land that I was told about 3years ago sold for 600k-800k now sells for minimum of #3m and fast rising. Take note that the road from agbara to atan is under construction and access to the area is smooth. The one my landlady took me to see personally, she said some years back it was bush and he just a foot path, now cars can go in and out and although to me it looked bushy, and I hear she said the place has opened up greatly and she is not willing to sell ger land. C. My landlady confided in me that her husband who already owns a couple of properties in Lagos and the east is into land purchase and resell. He bought a plot for 7m last year and sold it in January this year for 11m in the East. In conclusion, my advice is to look for areas where there are signs of development coming, buy some acres of lands and fence them out. In about a year or two you should start selling out with profit. Just build a fence round and secure the place. I won't advise you buy from all these estates that developers package and advertise; Just start asking from some landlords you know and please involve a land lawyer from the get go to be safe. Be wise how you invest your money abeg. Good luck. |

AmgAmg: Where can I reach you privately,, so we can discuss further … I will be back in Lagos in about a month from now
And another thing …. make I ask you straight, and I need you to be real with me ….
You really sure say this thing go work like that? I mean the contacts aspect …. are you 100% sure we go get the buyers? Not just “I believe” or “it should,” I mean sure sure, like you fit beat chest on it?
Because I no wan enter once chance with big money tied down. And more importantly …. 10 million no be 500k, and it definitely no be 20 million too. You get what I’m saying?
Buying small quantity and selling it off is different from handling a whole container of large stock. So I just want make we reason am well …. you really believe say we go move that kind volume without wahala? Sign deals and contracts oh. Get a lawyer and document all dealings before money leaves your account. VERY IMPORTANT! |

Tohsynetita1: Probably you don’t understand me because 1)you don’t know the product I am talking about so it might be hard to believe, 2) You don’t know how social media ads works. 3) You think we will run ads and start awareness after getting the goods, Note if you are using sea to buy something from China, it takes 2 months at least before the goods will get to Nigeria, so, why won’t 2 months be enough to see big buyers, especially if you live in Lagos. I stated Lagos because it’s Lagos that Nigeria sea port is located, so goods will be brought there bulk and send to other states. But, I think have done my best in explaining, and I can’t do more than that. Wish you good luck in your findings Why not just mention the name of this item? If demand is as you say it is and market saturation isn't there yet, then if all goes well you should make your profit from the business before others join the bandwagon. My own opinion though. |
