Politics / Tinubu Campaign: TY Buratai As A Strategic Choice by Triton1996(m): 10:42am On Sep 26, 2022
Tinubu campaign: TY Buratai as a strategic choice

I am excited by the news of the appointment of Lt Gen TY Buratai (retd) as the deputy director for security and intelligence for the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 presidential elections.

This is indeed a masterstroke because the credentials of the former chief of army staff are towering and loaded with experience in security administration in Nigeria. This fact, I guess, necessitated his inclusion in the campaign train of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

I dare say Ambassador TY Buratai is rare. He is an institution of learning with his wealth of experience. His sacrifices for the entrenchment and sustenance of our nascent democracy remain a reference point in the country’s annals. That aside, we might want to recall his passion and patriotism during his stint as the Chief of Army Staff, at a period where the territorial integrity of the country was threatened from several fronts.

Lt Gen TY Buratai (retd) not only revitalized the operations of the Nigerian Army, he indeed put his life on the line to ensure that Nigeria remains one strong and indivisible country. As I have mentioned in times past, a few Nigerians have demonstrated an unalloyed commitment to sustainable growth and development. They have also displayed their loyalty to the people and the country in numerous ways.

Lt. Gen TY Buratai falls under such category, and what stands him out, in my opinion, is his area of core competence, the sensitive security sector. Initially, I wondered if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of the necessity to have such a man in his camp as he prepares for the onerous task of leading this county if he emerges victorious at the poll.

And the recent appointment indeed put to rest my wonderment. This indicates the ability of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to identify talents and the capacity to put them to work for the country’s interest.

Indeed, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be requiring the wealth of experience of Buratai to marshal strategies that assist in revamping the security architecture in the country if he is elected president.

I say this for a couple of reasons. Chiefly amongst them is that TY Buratai successfully saw the smooth transition of one government to the other in 2019 despite the avalanche of challenges that confronted the country at the time. We experienced a seamless transition because of his allegiance to the Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

He ensured that plans to scuttle our democracy by unscrupulous elements remain stillbirth. The Nigerian Army stayed true to the Constitution despite the overtures by enemies of the country. And as often said, the Nigerian Army under Gen Buratai remained the bastion of our democracy.

Also, it is on record that as the chief of army staff, Ambassador TY Buratai introduced far-reaching reforms in the operations of the Nigerian Army that saw the numerous successes recorded in the war against Boko Haram terrorists in North East Nigeria, as well as the activities of militant and separatist groups across the country.

Let us also remember that Nigeria was on the brink of security threats. Upon his appointment, he hit the ground running. In less than a year, the Nigerian Army took control of the operational headquarters of the Boko Haram terrorist group in Sambisa forest. The Nigerian Army moved from a defensive operational tactic to an offensive counter-insurgency operation that saw the decimation of the group and its remnants scampering towards the fringes of the Lake Chad Basin region.

All territories hitherto under the control of the Boko Haram group were liberated, and life returned to these communities. The exploits of Ambassador TY Buratai are innumerable. And the awards were never in short supply. What does this say about him? It gives us a picture of a man who combined intellect and passion for delivering when it matters for the country’s benefit. Let’s make no mistakes. It can only take a man with a broad perspective of the country’s security architecture to bring about such accomplishment in the course of his brilliant career in the Nigerian Army.

I also need to mention that in generalship, there are generals amongst generals, and there is no doubt that Ambassador TY Buratai is a general amongst generals. This much he exhibited and has seen to the professionalism of the Nigerian Army in recent times.

Therefore, it is my opinion that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has spotted these qualities in Ambassador TY Buratai and his conscription into the campaign team to put his wealth of experience to use in the critical security sector in Nigeria.

This is smart, and I believe it was for strategic purposes. Those that know Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu closely have always maintained that he is a proactive leader that plans and never seizes to utilize talents and opportunities at the slightest prompting. Many Nigerians might be aware, but I think the recent developments concerning the quality of his campaign team should give Nigerians a cause for excitement.

Undoubtedly, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would make a good president. There is also no doubt that as president, Nigerians would see the best of talent and passion at work for the interest and betterment of the country. Take it or leave it; Nigeria will work under a Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency. Round pegs would be placed in round holes. Men and women of character would be of service to the country. And Nigeria shall again regain its pride of place in the comity of nations.

I dare say that the hopes and expectations from a Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency have been motioned with the coming onboard of Ambassador TY Buratai. I trust he will display his passion for the country in his characteristic manner in this new role.

Nigerians should work towards the coming onboard of a Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency. The country would be better for it.

Opinion: Maureen Badejo's Hopeless And Pointless Mission Against MFM, Dr Dk Olukoya Comes To An End

By Femi Oyewale

In my opinion, I really think that the reason God is patient with MEN when we tread upon dangerous paths is that he either wants us to repent from our HOPELESS AND POINTLESS WAYS or use our own hands to put ourselves in HARMS WAY.

For almost two years, I wrote different articles to call this woman to order, but no, she was determined to destroy herself and her poor life.

This woman came out with fabricated matters and delusional arguments against MFM and Dr. D.K Olukoya. As at the 13th day of September, 2021, she ran into another rock that will surely straighten her life for the better.

Frantic efforts by London-based Vlogger Maureen Badejo to escape or delay the consequences of her defamatory broadcasts against Dr. D. K. Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of fire and miracles ministries MFM and his wife Dr Folashade has suffered a crushing defeat, as the High Court sitting at Strand, London has refused her leave to appeal.

I had COVERED THIS MATTER SOMETIME LAST YEAR that the Court in England found Maureen Badejo liable for defamation and character assassination thereby awarding damages, amounting to Hundred thousand pounds (100,000) to the Olukoyas.

Since the judgment, Ms. Badejo has been running from pillar to post, blaming her own lawyer for her defeat, and eventually applying for leave to appeal against the decisions.

In his signed judgment on the 13th day of September 2022 the Honorable Justice Lavender sitting at the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London refused Maureen permission to appeal, describing her application as “totally without merit” His Lordship also barred Ms. Badejo from requesting a reconsideration of its order.

In providing the reasons for his decision, the Judge observed that no reason for extension of time to appeal was canvassed by the applicant just as no arguable ground of appeal had been identified.

Describing Ms. Badejo’s proposed grounds of appeal as “BOTH HOPELESS AND POINTLESS”, His Lordship concluded by pointing out that no useful purpose would be served by her proposed appeal.

This development bears clear testimony to the adage that lies and falsehoods may endure for a long while but truth will eventually catch up with them. Awọn adiye n bọ si ile lati gbe PERMIT MY MOTHER TONGE IT MEANS The Chickens are coming home to roost!!!

Politics / Lagos Assembly Summons Commissioner For Failure To Honour Previous Invitations by Triton1996(m): 6:08pm On Sep 13, 2022
Lagos Assembly Summons Commissioner For Failure To Honour Previous Invitations

The Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure, Arch. Kabiru Abdullahi, was on Tuesday saved by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Obasa, from being sanctioned by lawmakers during plenary.

The lawmakers had complained that Arch. Abdullahi disrespected the House of Assembly by refusing to honour an invitation of a committee of the House which has oversight functions over the Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development.

They also prayed that the Committee on Waterfront Infrastructure of the House be mandated to carry out a holistic investigation of the Ministry since Abdullahi's appointment while the House places the confirmation of commissioner's appointment on hold.

However, Obasa appealed to the committee and members of the House to reconsider their prayer just as he urged them to give the commissioner another opportunity to appear before the House.

In this regard, the Speaker directed the Clerk of the House, Barrister Olalekan Onafeko, to write to the commissioner to appear with all necessary documents on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

"I have listened to your submissions and I want to appeal to the chairman and the committee and members to sheathe their swords while we give the commissioner another opportunity to appear before you on Thursday unfailingly. He should also appear with all necessary documents," the Speaker appealed.

Moving the motion earlier, Hon. Muyiwa Jimoh complained that the commissioner had incessantly refused to honour invitations of the committee.

"It would be noted that it is this House that approved his appointment," Jimoh said adding that the commissioner had refused to submit the mid-year budget report for review and appraisal.

"Currently, the Ministry has been invited but as I am talking, the commissioner has refused to honour the invitation.

"The House Committee on Waterfront Infrastructure be made to carry out a comprehensive investigation. The House should also place on hold the confirmation of his appointment pending when the investigation is concluded," he moved.

Supporting him, another lawmaker, Hon. Bisi Yusuff, noted that the legislature is the most important arm of government in a democracy and, as such, must be respected.

In their contributions, Hon. Abiodun Tobun and Gbolahan Yishawu urged the House to allow a full-scale investigation into the commissioner's activities in office for treating the House with levity. Their positions were supported by Hon. Adedamola Kasunmu, Sa'ad Olumo and Victor Akande.

Another lawmaker, Hon. Adewale Temitope, noted that the primary responsibility of the House, beyond representation, is oversight. He suggested that the commissioner be made to appear to defend why he would not honour previous invitations.

In a related development, the lawmakers read the Lagos State Electric Bill and the Office of the Public Defenders Amendment Bill for the first time. They also took the presentation of a report of the Victim Assistance and Witness Protection Bill.

Politics / UK Prime Minister: How Primate Ayodele Foretold Rishi Sunak’s Loss To Liz Truss by Triton1996(m): 2:33pm On Sep 05, 2022
UK Prime Minister: How Primate Ayodele Foretold Rishi Sunak’s Loss To Liz Truss

After a drawn-out contest, the country’s ruling Conservative Party on Monday picked Liz Truss to be its new leader and the U.K.’s new prime minister.

Truss, until now the U.K.’s foreign minister, beat rival Rishi Sunak, the country’s former finance minister, to win the leadership race.

Following this development, it is important to note that the prophecy of famous Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele obviously played out especially with the loss of Rishi Sunak who started out as a prospective replacement for Boris Johnson.

Primate Ayodele had stated that God wants Rishi Sunak to become the next prime minister of the United Kingdom because he will make efforts to stabilize the UK economy. The man of God also stated that He has been ordained to take over the baton from Boris Johnson but warned him against some moves that will jeopardize his chances.

Primate Ayodele warned him to immediately re-arrange himself otherwise, he will lose out in the election.

These were his words

’’Rishi Sunak should buckle up because he will lose support if he doesn’t manage his words well. He should re-arrange himself technically, politically and economically so that he won’t face disappointment. His ambition of becoming the next PM of the UK is threatened by the gang up of “insider group” in the Conservative Party. Much more than his public popularity, he needs to strategise to attract support from “the powers that be” for his emergence to be sealed.’’

‘’His opponent, Liz Truss, is about to take the lead if he doesn’t listen to God’s instruction. God wants him to be the next prime minister of the United Kingdom but he has a role to play.’’ (https://independent.ng/primate-ayodele-warns-rishi-sunak-on-his-ambition-to-become-next-uk-prime-minister/)

As the man of God warned, there seemed to be a gang-up against the victory of Rishi Sunak and this, according to sources, was due to the fact that Sunak started the actions that led to the call for Boris Johnson’s resignation.

Primate Ayodele also asked him to manage his words before the election. Sunak had vowed to cut taxes if he emerged as the new prime minister; meanwhile, he raised taxes to the highest level when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2020 to 2022. His words were not trusted by the electorates and this contributed to his loss because he was not able to re-address as Primate Ayodele advised him.

Rishi Sunak was destined to be the UK Prime minister but as Primate Ayodele revealed, he has roles to play before that can happen. The question is did he play those roles? No, and this led to his loss to Lizz Truss, fulfilling Primate Ayodele’s prophecy.

It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele foretold the emergence of Boris Johnson as the PM of the United Kingdom and also foretold his resignation in his 2022 prophecies which was released on Wednesday, 22nd Of December, 2021.

Career / Ambassador Buratai Offers Anecdotes To End Global Crisis by Triton1996(m): 3:17pm On Aug 30, 2022
Ambassador Buratai, A Certified Peace Expert, Offers Anecdotes To End Global Crises {Full Speech}

Decades of incongruous beliefs amongst humanity have birthed different shades of subversive and counter militant forces across the globe. In some important respects, these anti human forces have formed lives of their own.
According to the Council on Foreign Relations's Global Conflict Tracker, the world was groping with at Least 27 Live Conflicts as of the last count, precisely in April, 2022.
In each case, nuclear arsenals are swelling. Millions are displaced. International law is disregarded with impunity, as criminal and terrorist networks profit from the division and violence.
In Nigeria, for instance, a terrorist group, Boko Haram, spearheaded by Mohammed Yusuf began the group in the year 2002, with a view of opposing western education with his followers. Though Yusuf is dead, Boko Haram, one of the largest Islamist militant groups in Africa has, since 2011, conducted terrorist attacks on religious and political groups, local police, and the military, as well as indiscriminately attacking civilians in busy markets and villages.
In the process, when things appeared to be getting out of control, a Kanuri born Army General, Tukur Yusuf Buratai, with shy mien, mounted the Nigeria’s defence soap box as Chief of Army Staff in 2015 with unmistakable message to the terrorists to quit or get destroyed.
Within a short period, Buratai reclaimed all the territories hitherto occupied by the insurgents. Peace unfolded and investors’ confidence restored.
However, it is not yet Uhuru. Security challenges across the world are unprecedented. Fierce armed gangs of sundry identities have besieged the world from nearly every corner The Nigerian state has a fair share of this tottering institutional embrace of the dark hour.
Against this back drop, the former Army boss now Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, last week, offered anecdotes on how to achieve peace.
His speech, which he personally delivered at a World Peace Symposium in Lagos, where he was honoured as the first title holder of Bearer of Security Torch, is reproduced below:

I want to sincerely appreciate the World Institute for Peace and the organizers of this symposium for identifying me to be its torch bearer. It is humbling on one hand, and gratifying on the other; truly it is an evidence that the efforts of our dear nation and it’s various actors to achieve peace in these tumultuous times have not gone unnoticed, and are appreciated by your esteemed organization. Particularly, being the past Chief of the Army Staff, Nigerian Army which has been at the vanguard of almost all physical efforts at ensuring peace, I am grateful to the institute for this recognition, it is by extension a recognition of the role of the officers and soldiers of our esteemed military in the development of our nation.
From the day the Institute contacted me, I have gone through a moment of reflection on my early days as a young military officer up until my time at the helm of the Army, this has led to several mixed emotions. On one hand, I feel nostalgic for the moments in our history uncharacterized by terrorism and insecurity; on the other, sadness for the victims of insecurity, comrades in arms lost in the battle against insecurity, and their dependents left bereft of their loved ones. However, I am not deterred as I believe peace will be achieved, and we will keep striving. We must always strive to contribute to peace in our societies in whatever capacity we find ourselves. You must contribute either as a medical doctor, a nurse, an engineer, a trader, a barber, a farmer, or a labourer etc.
Following the evergreen words of Robert McNamara which says; “Development means security and without security, there is no development”. This, means that peace is at the heart of national development and advancement, thus highlighting the importance of the core values of the World Institute for Peace and by extension, the relevance of this symposium. The efforts of this organization, and all other organizations that promote peace, are germane to global peace and security.
Peace is not a notion that can be defined in a single sentence. It signifies many things to different people and may be perceived through different lenses; yet, there is a common acceptance that peace denotes the absence of violent conflict. In my years of service as a military officer up until my position as the Chief of Army staff, I have had the privilege of being an genuine participant in the quest for peace in Africa and Nigeria- from insurgency, terrorism, farmer-herder clashes, militancy, riots, Angola civil war, and the Bakasi War… to mention but a few. The Nigerian constitution recognises the Police Force as the primary institution tasked with the responsibility of handling internal security. However, the rise of Boko Haram in 2009 signaled a shift in the nature of internal strife in Nigeria, necessitating a shift in strategy. As a result, the military, particularly the Army, was thrown into the spotlight, and this has progressively become the norm, with the military increasingly playing a role in internal security management. My contributions to the peace initiative stand as proof on their own, as an officer and in the many roles I performed in the Army. As a young Captain I was opportuned to participate in UN Peacekeeping/Observer Mission under the auspices of the United Nations Angola Verification Mission II (UNAVEM II) from 1993 – 1994. It was my first contribution to the global UN Peace initiative. As the commander of the newly reconstituted MNJTF, I worked hard to strategise and planned the fight against the Boko Haram Terrorists group that almost engulfed the Lake Chad Basin countries. The roles played by Nigeria, AU and Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) were so strategic in bringing about the relative peace being enjoyed now. But during my tenure as Chief of Army Staff, one of my main objectives was to strengthen the interplay between the government's kinetic and non-kinetic strategies in bringing about security and peace for our nation Nigeria.
The past years have also illuminated the importance of diplomacy, discourse, and the role of the community in achieving security. Religious leaders, traditional leaders, security personnel, political leaders, and the general citizenry have a part to play in achieving security in Nigeria and by extension the world.
I have also encountered another variable that is equally as important as the others highlighted above: ' Justice”. Justice according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary is the establishment or determination of rights according to the rules of law or equity. It is the conformity and the administration of what is right based on the law.
I believe that we can go a step further as a society. Our approach to handling these issues needs to be improved. Leaving it firmly in the hands of security agents is not completely working, we need to apply a structural functionalist approach to insecurity in Nigeria. All of us need to identify our parts in ensuring peace. Divisive elements have to be struck out, it is us against insecurity, therefore insecurity is the enemy. It is not a matter of Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba. It is not a matter of Christian or Muslim, it is Nigeria against insecurity. Therefore, we have to be tolerant and alert. Irregularities in our neighborhoods have to be reported. The religious and traditional leaders have to preach tolerance and respect for others, and the political leaders need to make informed decisions. In this way, we can push down insecurity and achieve actual justice and eventual peace for our fallen heroes, brothers, sisters, fathers, uncles and husbands.
Following my exit from active service, I am fortunate, the leadership of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari was gracious to appoint me as an Ambassador to positively portray the country’s image globally. This task I have set to carry it out judiciously since my appointment. I thank President Muhammad Buhari for giving me the privilege to serve as an ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Now a look at the global peace and security situations. According to UNICEF, from Ukraine to Yemen, conflict is taking a devastating toll. Nuclear arsenals are swelling. Conflict is on the rise. Millions are displaced. International law is disregarded with impunity, as criminal and terrorist networks profit from the division and violence. This is the situation the world finds itself in today.
10. The reasons for the outbreak of conflicts range from territorial disputes and regional tensions, to corruption and dwindling resources due to climate change. Conflicts disrupt access to basic services like food and water, and force people into extreme poverty, with the poorest and the most vulnerable paying the highest price. In addition to taking lives and devastating infrastructure in the short term, conflict and its consequences are profound and enduring, reversing progress towards achieving the Global Goals.
The current humanitarian crisis in Ukraine may be in the spotlight right now, but there are many conflicts occurring globally that deserve equal support and compassion. According to the Council on Foreign Relations’s Global Conflict Tracker, there are currently 27 ongoing conflicts worldwide. The tracker categorizes conflict into three groups: “worsening,” “unchanging,” and “improving.” Right now, there’s not a single conflict described as “improving.” Of those worsening are the conflict in Ukraine, the war in Afghanistan, political instability in Lebanon, the war in Yemen, the Rohingya crisis in Myanmar, and the conflict in Ethiopia. Other conflict areas and their impact include Sudan—Political tensions amid regional drought and conflict. Syria—Economic crisis compounds a decade of war. Somalia—Humanitarian access worsens as needs rise. Myanmar—Violent deadlock leaves millions in need. Democratic Republic of Congo—Conflict and disease compound crisis. South Sudan—Regional tensions raise risks. Nigeria—Growing insecurity across the country. Yemen—Cumulative impact of protracted conflict.
The UN has warned that peace is more under threat around the world than it has been since World War II. A quarter of the entire global population lives in conflict-affected areas. Some of the worst affected places are Ethiopia's Tigray region, South Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and Afghanistan. According to the UN, last year, 84 million people were forcibly displaced because of conflict, violence, and human rights violations. This year, it is estimated that at least 274 million people will need humanitarian assistance.
Nearly 11 years after it started, the Syrian refugee crisis remains the largest displacement crisis worldwide (13.2 million, including 6.6 million refugees and more than 6 million internally displaced people). At least 2 million people are living in tented camps with limited access to basic services. The beginning of the war in Syria dates back to the Arab Spring — a series of anti-authoritarian protests, uprisings, and rebellions that spread across several Middle Eastern countries in the early 2010s.
Lasting more than 60 years, the conflict in Myanmar (previously called Burma) remains the longest ongoing civil war in the world. The country has been plagued by decades of repressive military rule and civil war with ethnic minority groups since 1948, the year the country gained independence from the UK. Nearly 880,000 Rohingya refugees have fled the country. The most vulnerable, including pregnant women, babies, children, and the elderly have been forced to travel for days to reach safety in Bangladesh. Today, they live in the world’s largest and most densely populated refugee camp, Kutupalong. Around half of those refugees are children.
According to the Institute for Economics & Peace the 10 most conflict-affected countries lose, on average, 41% of their GDP. The cost of war is almost unfathomable. In addition to the human suffering, social unrest and damage to infrastructure, the burden of war also impacts conflict-affected countries’ economies.
According to Franck Bousquet, the senior director of Fragility, Conflict and Violence (FCV) Group at the World Bank, wrote in an article for the New Humanitarian, that conflict drives 80% of humanitarian needs and in 2016, the cost of conflict globally stood at an astonishing $14 trillion. That’s enough to end world hunger 42 times over. Just imagine what the world could do with that money if conflicts were to end worldwide.
With all the above negative consequences of conflicts and crises around the world, peace is the ultimate solution. I shall use this opportunity to call on the members of the global community especially the UN and the Super Powers to end all conflicts around the world and bring lasting peace to humanity. Let there be peace, security and development in our world. Enough of the deaths, human sufferings and underdevelopment around the world.
In conclusion, I understand that with this Torch comes great responsibility. As a career soldier, I dedicated my life to the defense of my nation and its people and by extension the entrenchment of peace within Nigeria, West Africa, and of course Africa and the world. The responsibility with this conferment is not just to continue what has been my lifelong duty to restore peace, but also now ensure that I am a forerunner in championing causes and initiatives geared toward achieving national, regional and global peace.
Once again, I express my profound gratitude to the World Institute for Peace and the program's organizers for choosing me to be a torch bearer. Even though I am a retired general, my active commitment to bringing about peace in Nigeria and the world does nothing but solidify my determination. I thank Ambassador Lamina, the Chairman CEO of the World Institute for Peace in putting this programme together in my honour. I appreciate all the special speakers who spoke via Zoom. I also thank and appreciate all our international and local participants who are physically here and those who join us via Zoom.
Lastly, in our collective pursuit of world peace, we must be conscious of the fact that “victory comes from God alone”.
I thank you all.

Religion / All Primate Ayodele Prophesied About Kenya Election That Came To Pass by Triton1996(m): 5:09pm On Aug 16, 2022
All Nigerian Prophet, Primate Ayodele Prophesied About Kenya Presidential Election That Came To Pass

Many who have been following Primate Ayodele’s prophecy on Kenya presidential election would know that he didn’t start talking about it until a few days to the election but since 2021 when there were no serious situations on ground regarding the presidential election.

Primate Ayodele’s first prophecy concerning the Kenya presidential election can be dated back to July 2021 when he declared that President Uhuru Kenyatta will not want his deputy, William Ruto to succeed him. He explained that Ruto can succeed in his bid to succeed President Kenyatta but he needs to put in more work and strategize well.

These were his words

‘’He wants to destroy his political career and it will give him issues. Ruto’s chances will be scuffled because of the differences between him and his principal. If he puts more strategy and works more in the eastern and central part of the country, he will succeed. I see that the president wants to battle him to the end, if he wants to win, He need to re-strategize well’’ (https://infoxclusive.com.ng/2021/07/30/trouble-for-kenya-as-primate-ayodele-issues-fresh-prophecies-reveals-will-befall-them-in-2022/)

Going by how Ruto became victorious in the election, it is obvious Primate Ayodele’s prophecy came to play with the trouble he faced with Uhuru Kenyatta. Also, the central and eastern part of the country gave Ruto the needed numbers to be victorious. His competitor, Raila Odinga won in most places in the country but Mount Kenya which is in the central province outnumbered Odinga’s reach, fulfilling the prophecy of Primate Ayodele.

Again in August 2021, Primate Ayodele warned William Ruto again on the strategies his principal, Uhuru Kenyatta will want to use against him in order to stop his ambition to become the next president of the country. The man of God noted that they will try to blackmail him and come up with some coalition to fight against him but in the end, he will succeed if only he prays and listens to instructions.

These were his words

“The Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta wants to investigate William Ruto and find a way to indict him, the government wants to ensure people stop supporting him but it will not work only if Ruto prays and listens to instructions. They want to blackmail him of what he has not done to threaten his political structure. His best enemy is the president and they will want to come up with a kind of coalition to fight him. He should be focused, stay strong and be prayerful so they won’t attack or assassinate any of his strong supporters’’ (https://theeagleonline.com.ng/primate-ayodele-sends-warning-to-william-ruto-on-kenya-election/)

This is another development that was evident in the Kenya presidential election. The president, Uhuru Kenyatta in the last few months didn’t hide his displeasure in the deputy president and due to that, has been speaking against him publicly. The president also formed a major coalition to fight against DP William Ruto in the election but as Primate Ayodele said, it didn’t work as seen in the election.

In December 2021, Primate Ayodele revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will approach Raila Odinga in order to fight against DP William Ruto’s ambition together, while also sending a warning to Odinga to be careful of making an agreement that will affect him in the election.

These were his words

‘’ Some people want to decamp from DP William Ruto’s camp, he must be very strategic and tactical because the president wants to bring on another candidate of his choice which he will want to win. They will approach Raila Odinga to join forces together to fight Ruto. Odinga must be careful so he won’t miss it by chance, overconfidence and taking wrong advice which will affect his political strategy.’’ (https://dailypost.ng/2021/12/07/primate-ayodele-releases-fresh-prophecies-for-ruto-odinga-ahead-of-kenya-presidential-election/)

Few months after Primate Ayodele released this prophecy, Uhuru Kenyatta publicly endorsed Raila Odinga and formed a major coalition to fight DP William Ruto. For Odinga, one major thing that affected him in the election was his endorsement by Uhuru Kenyatta, this stained his ambition as people saw him as the president’s project and a way for Uhuru Kenyatta to remain in government through the backdoor.

In February 2022, Primate Ayodele warned DP William Ruto to ‘wake-up’ from his slumber because he is technically being chickened out of the race except he works well on Mount Kenya. Primate Ayodele noted then that if election is conducted, Raila Odinga will win by a slim margin but Ruto should restrategize and listen to instructions in order to claim his victory.

These were his words

‘’If the election in Kenya is conducted today, Raila Odinga will win with a slim margin. The government of the day wants to back Raila Odinga. The deputy president, Willam Ruto should work very hard if he wants to become the president of Kenya. He should work hard and explain his manifesto because the government of the day has formed an alliance to fight him technically.William Ruto is sleeping, he still needs to work on Mount Kenya because the president is already rooting for Raila Odinga and if he utilizes it, he will be eased out. Ruto should immediately re-strategize if he wants to win.” (https://dailypost.ng/2022/01/16/primate-ayodele-issues-fresh-prophecy-on-kenyan-presidential-election/)

In March 2022, Primate Ayodele warned Raila Odinga against making agreements without seeking the face of God and that if he wants to win the election, he should pray to God and work on Mount Kenya because there will be a game changer for his challenger, William Ruto.

These were his word

‘’Raila Odinga must not relent his efforts, he should continue with more alliance, he must be careful in making agreements, let him seek the face of God before making agreements at this period so it won’t boomerang. Apart from this, he needs to work well on Mount Kenya because I see the game changing there for Williams Ruto. He should dedicate time to seek God’s face to be favoured in this election.’’ (https://citynewsng.com/2022/03/03/primate-ayodele-warns-raila-odinga-ahead-of-kenya-presidential-election/)

As stated before, the major thing that affected Raila Odinga in the just concluded was his association. Also, despite the fact that he formed an alliance with some Mount Kenya leaders, a major game changer worked in favour of DP William Ruto in the election.

In July, Primate Ayodele made it known that Ruto will bring up surprises on the election day if Odinga isn’t careful. He explained that the popularity of Odinga will not work for him in the election.

‘’In Kenya, Raila Odinga must not relent in his political effort; otherwise, William Ruto will get it. Odinga must still restrategize despite the fact that he seems to be more popular. He must be careful, as I see Ruto bringing up surprises on the day of the election. There will be a crisis and violence in the election because it will be very tough. Ruto has all it takes to win the election if only he puts his house in order. There will be some fraud in areas where Ruto has huge chances, but he has all it takes to win if he puts his house together.” (https://dailypost.ng/2022/07/04/primate-ayodele-predicts-outcome-of-presidential-elections-issues-warnings/)

In the first week in August 2022, Primate Ayodele made his last statement concerning the election in Kenya and declared that William Ruto will win the election if it is void of rigging or any form of intimidation. He warned the deputy president to be on ground and monitor the election closely in order to avoid being cheated. He also advised him to try as much as possible to win in the first round and avoid court cases.

These were his words

‘’ Without rigging, William Ruto will become Kenya's next president and will make the country better for the people. Of paramount importance is that he should employ a new strategy and work more on Mount Kenya, the youth and women. Ruto must follow up with the election closely because I see plans to rig the election. He must ensure he wins in the first round and, avoid court cases hanging around his victory. (https://theeagleonline.com.ng/without-rigging-william-ruto-will-become-kenyas-next-president-prophet-ayodele-declares/)

It is no more news that DP William Ruto won the election and was declared winner by the electoral commission yesterday after defeating his closest rival, Raila Odinga, a well experienced and fifth time contestant in Kenya presidential election.

Taking a critical look of Primate Ayodele’s prophecy on Kenya presidential election from the onset, one would deduce that the prophet had always maintained that Ruto will win the election even though all odds are against him. Apart from the fact that his prophetic warnings projected Ruto, all he said will happen before and during the election came to pass.

Several other prophets claim to prophesy about the Kenya election but the uniqueness of Primate Ayodele’s constant prophecies stands him out among others. His prophecies concerning the election is not just a statement, he was revealing things to come, giving updates just as God reveals to him and the fulfillment has confirmed truly that they were not mere predictions or guess work , they were divine words from the throne of the highest God.

Crime / Sahara Reporters To Pay N10bn For Lying Against Buratai by Triton1996(m): 2:32pm On Aug 13, 2022
Gutter Journalism: Sahara Reporters To Pay N10bn For Lying Against Buratai

By Halima Abdulkadiri

Sahara Reporters is set to pay N10bn for lying against Former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai (retired) who has filed a suit against the online newspaper over a report linking him to a N1.85 billion recovered loot.

In the suit with number FCT/HC/CV/252/2022 filed by his lawyer, Dr Reuben Atabo (SAN), Buratai asked the FCT High Court to declare the Sahara Reporters’ publication captioned, “Exclusive: Anti-graft agency, ICPC uncovers billions in cash meant for arms, ammunition to fight Boko Haram in Abuja home of ex-Chief of Army Staff, Buratai” of June 23, 2022 as pure defamation of character. The ex-COAS wants the court to award him the sum of N10 billion in general and aggravated damages over the use of libellous words in the publication of the online platform.

He further demanded an order of the court compelling the newspaper to publish a retraction and an apology in two national dailies and its online platform “where the defamatory publication was made.”

Buratai, who was appointed Nigeria’s ambassador to the Benin Republic after he retired from the army, averred that the publication damaged his reputation after he diligently served Nigeria in various capacities and was awarded various meritorious honours for his distinguished service. No date has been fixed for the hearing.

Politics / Understanding Ambassador TY Buratai As A Reader by Triton1996(m): 2:01pm On Aug 09, 2022
Readers are leaders because they understand that knowledge is the key to success, and reading books is an excellent source of that knowledge. Leaders read books because they know this is one of the best ways to learn things they don’t know and reinforce the things they know.

Some of us knew him only when he was appointed Chief of Army Staff. But not many knew his background as a historian. And a historian is never far from a book. Historians are deep thinkers. They get lost in their thoughts and overly anxious, but they’ll see future problems before anyone else.

They constantly reflect and only speak when they have something meaningful to say. While their deep thoughts can sometimes distract them from reality, deep thinkers always listen to what you have to say because it’s another opportunity to learn. Deep thinkers are almost always introverted because they require that quiet time to focus on their thoughts and give their ideas space and freedom to blossom.

They like to be nostalgic but also want to prepare for the future by learning from the past. They like to draw a big picture in their heads to see how things connect, using a lot of problem-solving skills.

Enter the world of Ambassador TY Buratai and former Chief of Army Staff (2015-2021). A very distinguished Nigerian whose contributions to the Nigerian cause know no bounds. Little wonder his stint as Chief of Army Staff in Nigeria goes down in history as one of the best in improving the resourcefulness of officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army.

Ambassador TY Buratai is a combination of strength and character, whose deep thoughts gave birth to numerous interventions that repositioned the Nigerian Army. Aside from the combat efficiency of the Nigerian Army, which was at its peak during his tenure, he was able to make tangible introductions that many thought could not be achieved.

A good example is the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, established in 2015 to offer creative decision-making ideas and systematic frameworks while helping to bridge important strategic and operational capacity gaps in providing workable, practical solutions to pertinent national defence and security issues.

Who would have thought of such an initiative but an individual in the quest for an improvement in national security? The fundamental core values of NARC revolve around a determination to help the Nigerian Army make a positive difference in optimizing Nigeria’s national security and state-building and Nigeria’s role as a positive regional peace and security contributor.
One can only imagine the thoughts that led to the establishment of such a Centre by Ambassador TY Buratai as the chief of army staff.

Another worthy example is the establishment of the Nigerian Army University, designed for developing middle and high-level manpower in the areas of technological empowerment for civilians and the appreciation for military policy, logistics and strategy. It’s also a centre of innovation and technological development to meet the ever-changing and rapid development in the dynamics of modern warfare. This is another brilliant one.

Indeed Ambassador TY Buratai is an exceptional leader who cherishes every opportunity to engage in intellectual endeavours. I gathered that his penchant for reading and research knows no bounds. And one could only imagine what his library would look like.

There is something about Ambassador TY Buratai that has not fully evolved. Beyond the brilliant career in the Nigerian Army that culminated in his appointment as Chief of Army Staff, he has consistently demonstrated uncommon attributes that are not usually associated with the military profession. How else could one explain the establishment of the Tukur Buratai Leadership Centre?

It is pertinent to x-ray the Tukur Buratai Leadership Centre. It was established to carry out and assist research on peace, security, and defence-related matters in Nigeria and beyond. According to information gathered from the Centre’s webpage, its mission is “to be a topmost research Centre in Nigeria working on issues of peace, and National Security in line with world best practices in areas of diverse research, networking, and collaborations.” Another brilliant one from the TY Buratai stable.

Consequently, I wasn’t surprised by his exploits as Chief of Army Staff, where excellence was at its peak. He revolutionized the Nigerian Army’s operational efficiency in numerous ways. He thought outside of the box and brought in outstanding innovations.

I agree that a book can be written in volumes on the achievements of Ambassador Tukur Buratai as Chief of Army Staff. I recall that at a forum where issues on leadership were discussed, it was jokingly said that the tenure of Ambassador TY Buratai as Chief of Army Staff gave considerable attention to educational reforms in the Nigerian Army. While it might have been banter, in a way, it was a statement of fact and buttressed the point being made about how much of an intellectual he is. And maybe he was the first Chief of Army Staff in the annals of the Nigerian Army that successfully blended intellectualism and military professionalism.

Ambassador TY Buratai has remained evergreen and exceptional even in his new national assignment as Ambassador of Nigeria to the Benin Republic. Undoubtedly, he is a reader and primarily responsible for his exploits that have proven tangible in service to our fatherland. The aphorism that knowledge is power is succinct in the case of Ambassador TY Buratai.

Adebayo is a research student at Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Politics / Caging Insecurity: Situating Gen. Buratai’s New Recipe by Triton1996(m): 9:40pm On Aug 04, 2022
Caging Insecurity: Situating Gen. Buratai’s New Recipe

As guest lecturer at a recent symposium on National Security, organised by Arewa House in Kaduna, former Chief of Army Staff and current Ambassador to the Benin Republic, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, pitched for negotiation as a resolution option with armed non-state actors. Louis Achi examines the new recipe

For three tough years, Rome had besieged the City of Carthage which was the only existential threat to the Roman Empire thereabouts 142 BC, until the coming of the Vandals several centuries later.

As the battle-hardened Roman General Scipio Africanus who took the city finally in 146 BC watched it burn in complete destruction, he suddenly broke down and wept. It was a shocking spectacle for his troops to behold. Crying for a defeated enemy or pitching for some benign accommodation was an indulgence unknown in that era.

Scipio’s emotional reaction to this particular conclusion of a historic, bloody campaign stemmed from a deep philosophical apprehension that all cities, nations, and authorities must, like men, meet their doom.

In a fundamental sense, General Scipio’s tough exploits and later philosophical sentiments about the enemy echo that of Nigeria’s former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and current Ambassador to the Benin Republic, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai. By boldly proposing an alternative engagement modus with non-state actors who have actively sought and are still seeking to bring the nation to her knees and fracture her sovereignty, General Buratai presents a compelling case deserving specific interrogation.

It could be recalled that following his appointment in July 2015 as COAS by President Muhammadu Buhari until he exited in 2021, Lt. Gen. Buratai had besieged the Boko Haram terrorist group and other potent armed non-state actors who posed considerable existential threat to the nation. He led from the front, amidst grueling, multifarious challenges and left with head held high.

Lt. Gen. Buratai had on June 11, 2022, called for dialogue between governments and armed groups, saying a growing practice of engaging in dialogue with all parties to a conflict had emerged since the mid-1980s. He observed that there must be concerted efforts that there are no ungoverned spaces in the land.

He urged state and local governments to establish their presence in their areas of responsibility. According to him, negotiation and dialogue are integrated approaches that can end insecurity by involving traditional and religious leaders, media, security and intelligence agencies.

The former Army boss spoke as a guest lecturer at a one-day symposium on National Security, organised by the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Centre for Historical Research and Documentation, Arewa House Kaduna, with the theme ‘Politics and Insecurity in Nigeria: Way Forward’.

Significantly, he further noted that he aligned with the approach being promoted by a revered Islamic cleric, Sheikh Gumi, seen by many as controversial. His words: “This is where I commend Sheikh Gumi for his initiative. One-third of the fight is military; others should be non-kinetic, through dialogue. We must get this solution and this is the right time to get it done.”

Buratai further suggested the revitalisation of the Defense Industries Corporation of Nigeria, better welfare and equipment for police, as well as the establishment of a national border force as done in other parts of the world.

According to him, the issue of the carrot and stick approach can be used to explore ways to end some of the conflicts confronting Nigeria, counselling the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to collaborate and employ all means to block off supplies to terrorists.

He also held that “the ongoing reforms of the Nigerian Police, procurement of modern platforms for intelligence gathering, and effective control of Nigeria’s porous borders will go a long way” in curbing various forms of insecurity in different parts of the country such as insurgency in the North East, banditry and kidnapping in the North West, agitations in South East and crude oil bunkering in South-South.”

The one day event was graced by heads of military and paramilitary organisations, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar who was represented, university dons, religious leaders, serving and retired military office and prominent Nigerians from diverse walks of life.

Is it conceivable that General Buratai’s diplomatic tour of duty may have mellowed the tough soldier’s appetite for frontal confrontation, or on the other hand, tweaked his philosophy of engagement? Big question!

According to Italian-American Professor of International Relations, Angelo M. Codevilla, “By their very nature, diplomacy and military force are means to the ends of statecraft as well as channels by which governments press their agendas on others. Neither is inherently more or less useful than the other.

“Far from being antithetical to one another, diplomacy and military force are complementary insofar as they serve the same political ends. “What are we after? What are they after?” These questions are as central to warfare as to diplomacy.”

In dissecting General Buratai’s new recipe of caging bloody insecurity, it needs to be stated that current armed conflict in Nigeria is characterised by an abundance of non-state armed groups who compete with the state for control over people, resources, and territory. The composition, areas of influence, and alliances of these groups tend to be fluid and subject to rapid change. This essentially captures the strategy of Boko Haram insurgents.

Beyond this, the internal dynamics within them are often opaque, providing limited opportunities for outsiders to develop an understanding of their interests and to identify opportunities for negotiation. Humanitarian actors, diplomats, and mediators must nevertheless engage these groups if they are to succeed in reducing levels of violence, bring an end to the conflict, or provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities.

Before these negotiations can begin, however, opportunities have to be found or created to bring armed groups to the negotiating table – whether literal or figurative. But then these groups need to be first incentivized.

The most effective incentive for armed groups to negotiate usually relates instead to legitimacy. But careful analysis is needed to ensure these groups enter negotiations in good faith rather than being content to simply appear to negotiate. Opportunities are likely to be scarce for engaging armed groups that derive their legitimacy by violating international norms. Armed groups may also be compelled to negotiate over their desire for humanitarian assistance to substitute for their own responsibilities.

Positive inducements, then, are usually a more effective means of getting armed groups to the negotiating table. The most effective incentive for armed groups usually relates to their need for legitimacy. Many armed groups serve as de facto governments often overseeing a range of government-like services, such as health or education departments. Others have even established putataive sub-national governance structures and often aspire to hold post-conflict leadership positions.

In a significant sense ‘conference diplomacy,’ a term coined by the defunct League of Nations, can contribute to conflict prevention by providing a forum for negotiation over the terms of a conflict’s conclusion, as well as laying the ground for the development of sustainable peace.

As part of the diplomatic toolbox, it allows focused attention to the issue at hand, brings together all relevant actors – ideally in a neutral setting and by a trusted convener – and fosters both momentum as well as a clear deadline for action.

At press time, it cannot be disputed that the nation badly needs an end to the current bloodletting, brazen banditry and kidnapping daily going on. Today, food insecurity, direct fallout from the rampaging banditry, is glaringly real. Is Gen. Buratai the man who saw tomorrow?

Could the tough Roman General Scipio Africanus’ fleetingly gripping insight into the core of the human condition have influenced his Nigerian counterpart, General Buratai, eons later, to reconsider the traditional kinetic engagement with enemies. Has General Buratai, peering into the twilight zone of his eventful life, morphed into a statesman or become a soldier-statesman? Time will tell.

Nigerian Archbishop, Samson Mustapha Curses Tinubu-Shetimma For Hiring His Pastor As A Bishop

TRIXX NG reports that the general overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministry, Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin has rained curses on the
All Progressive Congress (APC), the party’s presidential candidate and running mate, Tinubu-Shettima for hiring fake bishops during the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the presidential running mate of the party last week.

Bishop Samson during a street demonstration revealed that one of the fake bishops is a pastor in his ministry and has worked for him for a long time before he transferred him to Ilorin and that he has never been a bishop. He mentioned his name as Pastor David Obi while placing curse of those that hired him and other fake Bishops.

The man of God stated that God is terribly angry with the APC government for what they have done and their generations will suffer for it because they desecrated the altar of Jesus Christ and abused the priestly office.
Describing this as an abomination, he declared that they have crossed the line, will not go unpunished and that Tinubu will never become the president of Nigeria.

‘’God is terribly angry with what they have done and he has sent me to warn them for they have attacked the church and atonement isn’t possible right now because they have already desecrated the altar of Jesus. The altar of the Christians have been desecrated, this is an abomination.’’

‘’Look at how the priestly office was insulted, we saw bishops, APC bishops with cigarette in their mouth, what an insult to out altar! I stand and speak not for Christians but sensible Nigerians, if they were right they would have listened to Nigerians and ensure the ticket doesn’t go. If you claim the Christians are not competent, why do you go as far as hiring fake bishops? This is an insult to our office, a man dressed with cassock and a cigarette in his mouth, imagine me on the street holding a cigarette, is that not an insult to the office of a bishop? All those who have insult the office of the bishop will be full of trouble all their days including their family. You will eat and drink shame, you have crossed the line and because of that, you deserve no honour at all.’’

‘’One of the hired Bishops is Pastor David Obi, he worked with me for a long time till I was in Lagos before I transferred him to Ilorin. Pastor David Obi is not a bishop, all of you that desecrated the office of the bishop, fire will come after you and your family, your generation will suffer for desecrating the office of the bishop, enough is enough, and who will theses kind of leaders become? If they become leaders they will be liars. Shettima and Tinubu have committed the greatest offence against the altar of Jesus Christ and as a spoke person of Jesus, I will bring you to your evil.’’

‘’All Nigerians should listen and hear that not only are these people greedy, they are desperate for they have committed a sin of desecration, they will not go unpunished. Shetimma and Tinubu will not go unpunished. Tinubu hired them, they betrayed their masters for N30,000, all of you that wore the garment not meant for your office will receive the judgment of God for you allowed yourselves to be induced and committed a sin of desecration, Tinubu will not see that seat at all for insulting the insensibility of the Christians.’’

‘’APC Presidential Muslim-Muslim Ticket Is A Sign Of War’’ – Prophet Joshua Iginla Cries Out (VIDEO)

The General Overseer of the Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla has taken shared his view on the trending Muslim-Muslim APC ticket after Chief Bola Tinubu opted for the former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, as his running mate for the 2023 presidency. The prophet also went further to plead with Nigerian leaders to fix the country.

According to Prophet Joshua Iginla, he wondered why APC would be so insensitive by going for a muslim-Muslim ticket. "I asked myself, in a country like Nigeria with too much strong religious beliefs, why will the ruling party go for a Muslim-Muslim ticket? Why will their presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, go with that view? I asked myself again, if we don't know, we are sounding the drum of war in a place where there is unity, peace and understanding despite our differences. Nigeria is a country for all and does not belong to a particular set of religion. It has never happened before in this country. Why now?

"If we must make Nigeria great, we must allow equity, justice and sensitivity to be the watch of the day for our leaders. I am pleading in my heart, this was not the Nigeria I was born to. This was not the Nigeria that our great heroes fought for. What is going on? Our leaders, please save us because the Muslim-Muslim ticket is a sign of war".

Meanwhile, the prophet also touched the issue of insecurity when he commented on Kuje prison break. He said the Nigerian military is among the best in Africa but wonder why the country could not replicate that standard in her nation. He further said the security bodies should wake up.

Speaking on Kuje Prison attack and a message to Nigerian leaders, the prophet said, "Kuje prison break is the one that left me speechless.
Why? It happened in a country with the highest ranking military capacities in Africa. Sometimes I ask, is it not the same military that fought wars in Africa and came out victorious? The Giant of Africa has now become the sleeping brother of Africa. In the history of this country, we have never experienced such a thing before.

"It is because of insensitivity of our leaders that insecurity increased in this nation. If they are conscious of things to happen, they will take a step to remedy the issue. In Nigeria, before anything happens, the signs are clear if only our leaders can be more sensitive to detect them on time.

"Finally, this is my message to our leaders. I am sorry to say this, many of our elected leaders don't feel the pains of the masses. Please in the name of whatever you hold dear, fix this county. This was not the Nigeria my parents told me about".
Prophet Joshua Iginla started by saying, "As a pastor, my phone rings everyday. What are they asking for? They are looking for food to eat.

Today, a Dollar is about N600. Today, our diesel is up to N800 per litre. Today, there is insecurity everywhere that many are gradually moving to arming themselves. We are afraid to be in church; we have become the security of ourselves after the Owo massacre. If the church can be attacked, no one is safe again".

Politics / Osun Election Prophecies: What Happened To Primate Ayodele? by Triton1996(m): 7:07am On Jul 17, 2022
Osun Election Prophecies: What Happened To Primate Ayodele?

By Olalekan Lawal

The Osun state governorship election has just been held with the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola miraculously defeated by PDP’s candidate, Ademola Adeleke.

The independent national electoral commission has declared the PDP and its candidate as winner of the keenly contested election that had observers all over the country paying close attention.

The motive of this publication is not to state the obvious on the result of the election but to raise questions about popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele who is always prophesying about election outcome not in Nigeria alone, including countries around the world.

His prophecies on the elections of USA, Somalia, France, Uganda, and many others were celebrated for coming to pass, even the recently concluded Ekiti state elections but there seem to be a little dent to his prophecies concerning the just concluded Osun state governorship election which the PDP won, defeating an incumbent.

Primate Ayodele held a press conference on Saturday, 9th of July 2022 where several issues concerning the nation was addressed and Osun governorship election was part of the subject of discussion. When Primate Ayodele was to talk about the election, he noted that Ademola Adeleke will not win the election and that Governor Gboyega Oyetola will retain his seat as the governor of the state.

Meanwhile, during the release of his 2022 prophecies on Wednesday, 22nd Of December, 2021, Primate Ayodele’s statement on the Osun state election was even more elaborate and it talked majorly on how Governor Oyetola will struggle to have a second term in office. The man of God categorically stated that Oyetola will not have it easy if he doesn’t unite all the members of the Osun political family. He warned him of evil perpetrators that will frustrate his second term ambition. Primate Ayodele also further stated that there will be protest against Oyetola’s government and if he doesn’t put his house in order, he will not record victory in the election.

These were his words

‘’OSUN STATE: The spirit of God says governor Oyetola must unite all members of the Osun State House of Assembly as well as the party members. He must work assiduously because there will be a lot of evil perpetrators that will want to frustrate his effort in order for him not to win the second term. All the Who is who should do reconciled in the Osun State APC.’’

‘’ I foresee that many of his party members will want to gang up against him. Oyetola must not allow the party members to decamp and also not allow his party to break. He needs prayers to avert negativity and do the needful. They will bring negative reports about the governor. He must pray very hard so that he will succeed. Oyetola will want to change everything about his present seat. It will cause more problems, but if he puts in more efforts and pray very well, he will retain his seat. Oyetola will want to do all he can to retain his seat for the second term. He will want to ensure that the APC excel in the coming election. He should pray not to lose any of his Aides and loyal party members. There will be protest against his government and also negative propaganda. If he puts his house in order, he is going to record victory.’’

These are two prophetic statements from Primate Ayodele on the Osun state governorship election but they are not the same, One is saying the governor will win while the other is saying the governor will not find it easy in the election. The question is, Why did Primate Ayodele contradict himself on the Osun state election?

Primate Ayodele is a respected man of God whose prophetic prowess knows no bound, no doubt and that is why questions are being raised concerning his prophecy on Osun election, what influenced his decision to contradict himself last week when he had a long standing prophecy since December 2021 that reflected all that happened in the just concluded election?.

Sincerely, looking at all that happened in the election, they were exactly what Primate Ayodele warned Governor Oyetola about in 2021 when he released his new year prophecy. Oyetola didn’t try to mend the broken fences, he didn’t unite the political family, his predecessor didn’t even vote for him in the election, all these are clear reflections of what Primate Ayodele warned about seven months ago, why then did he contradict himself one week to the election?

Politics / Buratai Sues Sahara Reporters For Defamation (PHOTO) by Triton1996(m): 8:43pm On Jul 09, 2022
The former Chief of Army staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai (Rtd) who is also the current Ambassador to Benin Republic has given Sahara Reporters a seven day ultimatum to retract and apologised publicly over the injurious, defamatory and fabricated lies against him.

Buratai gave the ultimatum in a letter to the newspaper and signed by his counsel led by Dr. Reuben Atabo, SAN.

In the letter, Buratai also demanded a public apology from the media outfit over the fabricated story.

He decried that very serious allegations that were leveled against him in the report, which he said was capable of brewing hatred and attack by the public against him, has caused him great embarrassment.

The notice, read: “We refer to your publication dated 23rd day of June 2022 with the caption: ‘EXCLUSIVE: Anti-graft Agency, ICPC Uncovers Billions In Cash Meant For Arms, Ammunition To Fight Boko Haram In Abuja Home Of Ex-Chief Of Army Staff, Buratal.’

“In the said publication, you alleged that the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) had recovered N1.85 billion from a house and office said to belong to our client.

“It was further reported by you that ‘the huge cash was part of the billions of naira earmarked for the purchase of arms and ammunition by the Muhammadu Buhari-led government.’

“This is a very serious allegation capable of brewing hatred and attack by the public against our client as a former Chief of Army Staff.

“There is no doubt that Nigerians are seriously concerned about the security situation of the country and the said publication has portrayed our client as a person responsible for diversion of funds meant for the fight against Boko Haram.

“Consequently, our client has been exposed to hate, ridicule and embarrassment from members of the public with his friends calling him from different parts of the world to ask for explanations.

“The publication is not only false but malicious and an attempt to malign the reputation of our client.

“Our client, who is the current Ambassador to Benin Republic, rose through the ranks and became a Lieutenant General in the Nigerian Army before his retirement in the year 2021.

“Our client, who was also a former Chief of Army Staff from July 2015 to 2021 has taken the battle against insurgency to the field with enormous energy and resources as well as loss of field officers.

“By your publication, our client has been ridiculed as a man without honour, dignity and incapable of representing Nigeria and portrayed as a fraudster/ dishonest person before Nigerians and the international community.

“We hereby demand that you retract your publication with a public apology to our client within seven days of receiving this letter and a public apology to be published in two national dailies in Nigeria.

“Take notice that if you fail, neglect and/ or refuse to publish the apology within seven from today, we shall not hesitate to commence legal action against your organisation for defamation.

How Primate Ayodele Foretold The Assassination Of Japan Former Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe

The former prime minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe was assassinated this morning during a campaign speech to the surprise of many. He was shot dead by a 41-year-old suspect who was arrested immediately.

The assassination has led to confusion in world politics as presidents and political leaders around the world have expressed shock at the development that led to the death of the former prime minister who was full of life before his ill-fated murder.

Though surprising to many, popular Nigerian prophet, Primate Ayodele had warned earlier this year that he foresees the death of a powerful former prime minister in the world while asking leaders to pray against death in the countries.

In his annual book of prophecy, Warnings To The Nations 2021/2022 edition, Primate Ayodele revealed that he foresees the death of a one-time prime minister.

The assassination of Shinzo Abe has no doubt fulfilled the prophecy of the man of God, adding to the thousands of his prophecies that have been fulfilled.

Primate Ayodele’s prophecies have become reference points whenever a new development takes place around the world. The resignation of UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson which happened yesterday was accurately foretold by the man of God. On different online platforms yesterday, Primate Ayodele was described as the prophet who foretold the emergence of Boris Johnson and his exit as UK Prime Minister.

No doubt, Primate Ayodele prophetic prowess on the international scene is second to none, with proven records of his indefatigable excellence in the prophetic ministry.

Politics / Lagos Assembly Members Knock Governor Sanwoolu Over Imposition Of Candidates by Triton1996(m): 2:39pm On Jul 01, 2022
Some members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who lost out in the recently conducted All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries have accused Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of playing a key role in making them lose their return tickets.

The accusation was levelled against the governor during plenary on Monday evening when the Majority Leader of the House, Sanai Agunbiade analysed the report from the legislative training the members attended last week in Ogere, Ogun State.

The lawmakers lamented that the delegates’ lists were doctored in many constituencies in favour of aspirants whom they believed were backed by the governor during the primaries, saying that the process was not credible and devoid of democratic practices.

Victor Akande (Ojo 1), who was first to comment, narrated his ordeal and how the delegate system was used to schemed him out for an aspirant allegedly backed by the governor.

Akande said that Sanwo-Olu had successfully made an in-road into the House with the emergence of those who won the primaries, even as he expressed the need for the House to quickly curtail the governor’s influence.

According to him, the Governor, instead of supporting their return to the House supported his own candidates against them.

The lawmaker said that there was need to speak out on their experiences during the primaries, saying that the House would never be a rubber stamp.

He added that it would be a waste of tax payers money if after being trained, they have suddenly been schemed out by not clinching return tickets.

“After spending huge amount of money on training lawmakers and acquiring legislative knowledge and experience, and at the end of the day one is suddenly removed by way of not given the party’s ticket.

“Like you (Speaker) who have been in this House for years and have been able to garner experience, it is because of your experience that made me to join APC. And I cannot stand to be shortchanged for a system that does not work.

“I think the primaries need to be looked into because most of the delegates were not even elected. In some constituencies, the delegates’ lists were written. This is not a good system,” Akande said.

Rotimi Olowo (Somolu 1), said their failure to clinch the party’s tickets was not because they were not popular among their people but was due to the incursion by the powers-that-be.

Olowo said that the incursion might be dangerous to the independence of the House, saying that the electorate were angry with how the party conducted its primaries.

He said: “I am not speaking for myself alone. One of our colleagues was rigged between the election location and Acme. The election result was manipulated. In some areas, nothing like election. This does not apply to Lagos alone but across Nigeria.

“ In Ondo State, it was only six members that returned. In the House of Representatives, it was less than one-third that returned. Some Senators have defected from our party to another party because of the failed process.

“But more importantly is ours here, where another arm of government fingered in all constituencies because the House is irrepressible, independent, proactive, and pro-masses and will not submit to any other arm of government . And that if our sin is because we treat issues how it should be treated without sentiment, we want to commit more sins”.

While reacting to their comments, the Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, said the issues raised were of party affairs and that it can only be handled at the party level.

“You have the right to raise your observations but we must understand that whichever way, its all about democracy.
“We refer to people in other parts of the world who serve many years.

“These people you are talking about still go back to their people who make decision as to who their representatives would be, so I still want to believe if there is an issue with the process of the election, it is still more of a party affair that can be discussed,” Obasa said.
