if his friend wrote down wrong information then, that is why today you can verify by the use of scientific procedure we know today. He is master of all. Is it the same Quran that said the sperm is formed from a man's rib and backbone? Do you believe the Qur'anic nonsense compiled by illiterate Arabs in the 7th century? Sahih bukhari Volume 3, Book 31, Number 137 : Narrated by Ibn 'Umar The Prophet said, "We are an illiterate nation; we neither write, nor know accounts. The month is like this and this, i.e. sometimes of 29 days and sometimes of thirty days." How can you take the claims of illiterate Arabs on its face value without second thought because it has a religious package? Was the Quran inspired by allahh? Did allahh speak directly to Mohammed, even once? Did the entity Mohammed met at the cave of hira told Mohammed that he is jibril? Did Mohammed ask Muslims to compile his so-called revelations as a single book, or was it the project of the khalifas? We have read your books bro! |

shaykhalislaam: WE INVITE YOU TO ISLAM
Peace and blessings of God be upon the one who follows the right guidance!
We are glad that you are reading this.
It is this reading that can change your life in the best way.
Why?
Because we want to invite you to Islam!
Today we often hear that someone embraced Islam.
But why?
What does this mean?
Why did he do it?
What did it gave him?
After reading this article, with God’s help you will get the answers to these questions.
The Muslim religion is based on belief in the One God, who is not similar to anyone else, and no one and nothing is comparable to Him.
In Arabic, the religion is called “Islam” in English it means “obedience to God” and the word “Muslim” from Arabic means “man, who is obedient (submissive) to Only God.”
Many religions are called after a man - the father or the founder of it.
Only Islam called not by the name of a person but in fact, by the relationship between man and the Almighty Creator.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) – is not the founder of a new religion.
He revived the teachings of previous Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them), which was much forgotten by people before his arrival.
The first prophet was our forefather Adam (peace be upon him), and the last - the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Other messengers are Prophets Muhammad, Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), `Isa (Jesus), Nuh (Noah), peace be upon them all.
A person submitted to God must believe in all the prophets and messengers, and recognize their mission, otherwise he will not find the true faith, and true believer - is a man completely obedient to the will of the Lord, and such person is a Muslim.
The belief in Allah and belief in His prophets is a pillar of the Muslim faith.
All the prophets were obedient to God, that is, Muslims.
Allah has commanded in the Qur'an to those who follow the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), to believe in Allah and in what has been sent down by Him through all the prophets, that is, recognize the Quran and other divine Scriptures: the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, the message of the prophets.
Allah said that there is no difference between the prophets: all of them are - the Muslim brothers.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best words which I, and all prophets before me, said are: La ilaha illAllah” (there is nothing worthy of worship except the One God - Allah).
Therefore, Muslims recognize, believe, love and revere all the prophets.
It is necessary to recognize all the prophets, but one should not deify any one of them, for they are the creation of God, created by Him.
None of the prophets taught the people to worship them or some other creatures, because it would be leading to paganism and delusion from which they were saving people.
Acceptance of Islam is not a betrayal of Christianity and the teachings of Jesus Christ – on the contrary Muslims like the son of Mary (peace be upon him) and honor him because he is a great prophet of God.
To be a Muslim - is to follow the precepts of Jesus (peace be upon him), including a covenant that after him comes a new mediator and intercessor for humanity.
Muslims await the second coming of Jesus to the earth, after which he will lead the community of Muslims, and to all the faithful there will come calm and harmony after long oppressions.
Belief - is a private matter of each individual, and there is no compulsion in Islam.
Who sincerely believed and accepted in heart the faith taught by the prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and all other prophets (peace be upon them), he should say aloud the following testimony of Monotheism (Shahaadah) with the intent to convert to Islam:
(Ash hadu an laa ilaaha illaa Allaah wa ash hadu anna Muhammadan RasoolulLaah)
“I testify that there is nothing worthy of worship except the One God - Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad – is His prophet and messenger.”
If one cannot say the words in Arabic, he says to them in a language he knows.
From this point the person becomes a Muslim, that is, obedient to Only God, and his life begins anew.
All previous sins are forgiven, and he, clean like a newborn baby, enters into a new life.
Acceptance of Islam does not require carrying out official events inviting witnesses, walking to the mosque, etc.
Rather it is sufficient enough to sincerely believe in heart and say Shahaadah by himself.
Changing the name is not a prerequisite for becoming a Muslim, but if he wants a person can take a name characteristic of the Muslim tradition.
Right after the adoption of Islam it is desirable for the man to bathe.
After acceptance of Islam, not all people can understand him correctly, as in society, there are certain fears and false stereotypes about Islam, formed thanks to the activities of pseudo-religious sects and movements.
But the truth is that Islam has nothing in common with terror, and the true Muslim cannot sow evil on earth.
In Islam, there is no such requirement that those who became Muslims should officially announce about their faith.
But everyone has to follow the teachings of Islam.
For those who chose the path of Islam, their earlier committed sins are forgiven.
Studying the basics of Islam, Muslim converts learn how to perform correctly the five daily prayers, fasting, hajj, etc.
All Muslims are each other’s brothers and sisters.
The six components for the Muslim faith are:
1. Belief in Allah.
2. Belief in angels.
3. Belief in the holy books.
4. Belief in the Messengers.
5. Belief in the Day of Judgment.
6. Belief in Allah's predestination.
The bases of Islam
Religion of Allah consists of three pillars:
1. Iman - faith in all that has been sent down in revelation from Allah.
2. Islam - submission to all the commandments and prohibitions of Allah.
3. Ihsan – conformity of one’s language, heart and deeds with all the requirements of religion of Islam, that is to worship the Creator sincerely and perfectly.
More information about the basics of Islam and what it means to be a Muslim, you will find with us.
All your questions regarding the Islamic faith and Muslim life, will be answered by our scholars.
Ask – and we will answer!
Muslim – is the happiest man in this world, and in eternal life paradise and contentment Lord of the worlds is waiting for him!

alBHAGDADI: And they love to carry out the violence in countries that welcomed them wholeheartedly. The black Muslims don't have problems in the US or Europe because they are fake and are only Arab wanabes. They are only being used by the Arabs to achieve their cultural, political and religious supremacy goal. The lie the Arab feed the black is that the first person to do the Islamic call to prayer was a Blackman, Bilal. This help massage the ego of black Muslims and shift the burden of responsibility from Mohammed whose encounter with any black was a matter of slavery. 100% of blacks in contact with Mohammed were all his slaves. These are well documented in the hadith, al-tabari and the sirah rasool allahh. Unfortunately, we blacks are so foolish that we don't even know our enemies, even when he documented his atrocities against us for their future generation to continue in their evil legacy. Back to the topic, the so-called sophisticated Yoruba Muslims cannot even reason very well (not an insult). If a so-called Yoruba 'professor' can quote an Arab man who said 'persecution is worse than slaughter' and without thinking, believe in this warp and inverse logic, then our educational system is a complete mess. By Islamic logic, if I oppress you (not killed) I have committed a crime worse than genocide. If I say you cant wear a niqab in public for security reason (a form of oppression to Muslims, though no bodily harm at all), I have committed a crime worse than slaughter against a Muslim. No wonder core northern Nigeria will forever remain a mess. I shake my head. |

philipogunti: I don't know why people hates jw and say bad things about them. I spent my whole life learning about all religion even to the extent of learning the Hebrew and Greek alphabets and the way they pronounce God as Jehovah is actually correct. It is pronounced as yehowah in Hebrew. As for the persecutions regarding jw. Jw started their missionary service in 1920. Since then, they have bn persecuted and during the Biafra war, thousands were killed because of their neutrality towards war and it still continues today with alot of ppl opposing them in one way or another. During the two world wars, millions of jw were also killed for their neutrality. They continue to be persecuted in different countries like russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan etc Despite all hardship, these ppl strive to be united and zealously preach the good news and it's something to commend them for. These ppl are experiencing lots of hardship but ppl dont know and they don't make it an issue how they are being treated. Instead they solely rely in Jehovah, but one thing again they keep increasing. People should beware Your JW 'being persecuted' propaganda is stale bro; no serious person is falling for it any more. JW, on the other hand, are the ones 'persecuting' other Christian group with their malicious publications. They bimonthly release the AWAKE and WATCHTOWER filled with anti-christian propaganda, often written in a very technical and ingenious manners. I have, for over 15 years, read them and concluded that JW is nothing but a deceitful organization. You can hardly see any Christian publication attacking the watchtower publications, their scandals, their doctrines, the cover-ups of the elders in JW (whenever any witness commits a crime, a witness is discouraged from exposing the crime of another witness to the public), and many more. The WATCHTOWER, in their snake oil salesman strategy, will come to you pretending to share 'the good news of the kingdom' with you, will however draw you away from God. They make you hate all religions, especially Christianity, and reprogram your taught pattern such that if you are feed up with JW, you will be so much depressed that you will hate the world around you. In psychology, they call it a 'siege mentality', such that it will be like the world versus the Jehovah's organization. It is sad that millions have fallen into this mind-control trick of the WATCHTOWER organization in Brooklyn, NY. The way the elders at the Brooklyn, NY (US) were able to brainwash you guys, such that you guys take all instructions affecting your private and family life from them, is quite unbelievable. Use your brain or someone else will take it from you. Smell the coffee while it is very hot. |
Christianity Etc › Re: MURIC Quotes A Violent Quran Verse To Support Muslim Ladies Wearing Hijab To Bar by true2god: 7:30pm On Feb 15, 2018 |
alBHAGDADI: I can't believe that the law school hijab issue is still raising arguments months after Nigerians have expressed their dislike of the idea of wearing religious regalias to places that have rules that do not conform to such.
The quest to ensure that Muslim ladies are allowed to wear their hijab during call to bar is being pressured by Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC).
In a recent press statement, the body calls for the Nigerian Bar Association to allow Muslim ladies wear their hijab to bar. Reading through the statement, I couldn't help but notice a Quran verse quoted in the statement. Below is an excerpt of the statement.
The verse quoted - Quran 2:191 - which they claim underlines the gravity of the hijab phenomenon is a verse that should all make us wary of their intentions cos it spells violence and murder. Verse in quote.
If you read the bolded part, you will see that it goes in line with the excerpt of the statement from MURIC in terms of persecution. It says, ''for persecution is worse than slaughter''. This means MURIC is trying to tell us that the Muslim 'ladies' rejected during call to bar are being persecuted, a thing seen as worse than SLAUGHTER by the Quran. In essence, the Muslim ladies are being ''slaughtered''.
Reading the verse very well, you will see how Muslims are to react to such persecution.
The first bolded part tells Muslims to SLAY their persecutors and to drive them out of the places where they drove them out of. Since MURIC sees as a persecution the hijab and the call to bar issue, where a Muslim girl was driven out during call to bar for wearing an hijab, I think Nigerians need to start watching the activities of that group closely lest we have another Boko Haram in our midst. If care is not taken, this uncouth group might start to SLAY anyone that opposes what they call the right of muslim ladies to wear hijab to bar.
If Muslims want Nigerians to believe that their religion doesn't support violence and terrorism, then now is the time to publicly caution MURIC. They need to prove that the body is quoting the Quran wrongly just as they say Terrorists are doing. If they do not, then they put Nigerians in an imminent danger, especially those in the Southwest where this group is based. You are just getting better day by day. Excellent write-up. Without apology, Islam promote violence and a constant threat to non-muslims. How can one justify an Arab illiterate man's command for slaughter and mayhem, more than 1400 years ago, in this modern age and time. To make the matter worse, this Akintola Ishaq, the president of MURIC, is a so-called Islamic professor, which means that he fully understood the sunnah of the Islamic prophet, vis-à-vis his advocate for terror against non-muslims. This fake and useless professor should be arrested for inciting and advocating violence against an institution and her human representatives. Linda Sasour, an equally Islamic lunatic, also quoted this same ayah, advocating violence against a sitting American president, Donald Trump. Why do Muslims have this sort of mob mentality when things don't go their selfish ways? |

shaykhalislaam: Asalam alaikum warahmotulah wabarakahtu Pls what dua to recite when someone is suffering from going and coming sickness according Quran and sunnah . Jazakumullah kayran
Firstly:
With regard to the sickness that you have, if you bear it with patience and seek reward, Allaah will make your sickness an expiation for your sins.
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri and Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No tiredness, exhaustion, worry, grief, distress or harm befalls a believer in this world, not even a thorn that pricks him, but Allaah expiates some of his sins thereby.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5318 and Muslim, 2573.
Secondly:
We recommend to you some remedies and du’aa’s that are prescribed in sharee’ah. Remedies include the following:
1 – Honey. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Then, eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your Lord made easy (for you).” There comes forth from their bellies, a drink of varying colour wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is indeed a sign for people who think”
[al-Nahl 16:69]
2 – Indian aloes wood (al-‘ood al-hindi).
It was narrated that Umm Qays bint Muhsin said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “You should use Indian aloes wood for in it are seven cures.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5368; Muslim, 287.
3 – Cupping
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was treated with cupping when he was in a state of ihraam on his head for a migraine that he was suffering.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5374; Muslim, 1202.
Al-Bukhari included it in a chapter which he called: Chapter on cupping for migraines and headaches.
4 – Black seed
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “In the black seed is healing for every disease except death.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5364; Muslim, 2215.
With regard to the du’aa’s which we recommend to you, we will mention some du’aa’s from the saheeh Sunnah:
1 – It was narrated from ‘Uthmaan ibn Abi’l-‘Aas that he complained to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about a pain in his body that he had suffered from the time he became Muslim. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: “Put your hand on the part of the body that hurts and say Bismillaah (in the name of Allaah) three times. And say seven times: A’oodhu Billaahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajid wa uhaadhir (I seek refuge in Allaah and His power from the evil of what I feel and worry about).”
Narrated by Muslim, 2202.
2 – It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to a sick person or a sick person was brought to him, he would say: “Adhhib al-ba’s Rabb an-naas, wa’shfi anta al-Shaafi, laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’an laa yughaadir saqaman (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5351, Muslim, 2191.
You should also recite al-Faatihah and al-Mu’awwidhaat, and in the whole Qur’aan there is healing, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And We send down of the Qur’aan that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) nothing but loss”
[al-Isra’ 17:82]
3 – It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that some of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to one of the Arab tribes. They asked them for hospitality but they refused to welcome them. Whilst they were like that, the chief of that tribe was stung. They said: ‘Do you have any remedy or someone who can recite ruqyah?’ They said: ‘You did not offer us hospitality, so we will not do anything until you give us something in return.’ Then they agreed upon a flock of sheep. Then he started to recite the Essence of the Qur’aan – i.e., Soorat al-Faatihah – and he collected his saliva and spat at him (at the site of the injury), and he recovered. The sheep were brought and they (the companions) said: We will not take them until we ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). So they asked him and he smiled and said: “How did you know that it is a ruqyah? Take them and give me a share of them.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5404; Muslim, 2201.
4 – It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite al-mu’aawidhaat and blow over himself during his final illness, and when he became too ill (to do that), I used to recite them and blow over him and wipe his hand on him for blessing.
Mu’ammar said: I asked al-Zuhri how he used to blow and he said: He used to blow on his hands then wipe his face with them.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5403; Muslim, 2192.
And Allaah knows best.

I will prepare your answers very soon. You never responded. The 3rd question is why didn't Imam Bukhari include any member of Mohammed's household, especially his cousin (also a son-in-law) and his daughter, Fatimah, in the hadith narration? This is a very difficult question to the Sunnis. Imam bukhari was a sunni Muslim hence the hadith of bukhari was written from the Sunnis world view of Islam. Ironically, Fatimah and Ali were not in good terms with almost all the narrators in sahih bukhari. What does this tell us? |

shaykhalislaam: Thank you sir.
I will prepare your answers very soon. I am yet to get your response. What is the penalty for leaving Islam? Well, let's look at the Quran and the hadith for an answer. “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” Quran 3:85. Quran (4:89) - "They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So take not Auliya' (protectors or friends) from them, till they emigrate in the Way of Allah (to Muhammad). But if they turn back (from Islam), take (hold) of them and kill them wherever you find them, and take neither Auliya' (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them." And now the hadith on this issue: Sahih Bukhari (52:260) - "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " Sahih Bukhari (83:37) - "Allah's Apostle never killed anyone except in one of the following three situations: (1) A person who killed somebody unjustly, was killed (in Qisas,) (2) a married person who committed illegal sexual intercourse and (3) a man who fought against Allah and His Apostle and deserted Islam and became an apostate." Sahih Bukhari (84:57) - [In the words of] "Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'" Sahih Bukhari (89:271) - A man who embraces Islam, then reverts to Judaism is to be killed according to "the verdict of Allah and his apostle." In all Islamic countries, following the sunnah, the penalty of leaving Islam is death. This law is still in force in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, etc. |

shaykhalislaam: Thank you sir.
I will prepare your answers very soon. Well, since your response is not forthcoming, I will assist you. The first one is the pact of umar, the 2nd rightly guided khalifa. This pact was drawn up by the conquering Muslim army against the conquered Syrian Christian. Below is the excerpt of the pact. Please note that this pact is still in place in most Arab-muslim countries and the Sudan. Quran 9:29 laid the foundation for the drafting of this pact. Read below: In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate. This is a letter to the servant of God Umar [ibn al-Khattab], Commander of the Faithful, from the Christians of such-and-such a city. When you came against us, we asked you for safe-conduct (aman) for ourselves, our descendants, our property, and the people of our community, and we undertook the following obligations toward you: 1. We shall not build, in our cities or in their neighborhood, new monasteries, Churches, convents, or monks' cells, nor shall we repair, by day or by night, such of them as fall in ruins or are situated in the quarters of the Muslims. 2. We shall keep our gates wide open for passersby and travelers. We shall give board and lodging to all Muslims who pass our way for three days. 3. We shall not give shelter in our churches or in our dwellings to any spy, nor bide him from the Muslims. 4. We shall not teach the Qur'an to our children. 5. We shall not manifest our religion publicly nor convert anyone to it. We shall not prevent any of our kin from entering Islam if they wish it. 6. We shall show respect toward the Muslims, and we shall rise from our seats when they wish to sit. 7. We shall not seek to resemble the Muslims by imitating any of their garments, the qalansuwa, the turban, footwear, or the parting of the hair. We shall not speak as they do, nor shall we adopt their kunyas. 8. We shall not mount on saddles, nor shall we gird swords nor bear any kind of arms nor carry them on our- persons. 9. We shall not engrave Arabic inscriptions on our seals. 10. We shall not sell fermented drinks. 11. We shall clip the fronts of our heads. 12. We shall always dress in the same way wherever we may be, and we shall bind the zunar round our waists 13. We shall not display our crosses or our books in the roads or markets of the Muslims. We shall use only clappers in our churches very softly. We shall not raise our voices when following our dead. We shall not show lights on any of the roads of the Muslims or in their markets. We shall not bury our dead near the Muslims. 14. We shall not take slaves who have been allotted to Muslims. 15. We shall not build houses overtopping the houses of the Muslims. (When I brought the letter to Umar, may God be pleased with him, he added, "We shall not strike a Muslim." We accept these conditions for ourselves and for the people of our community, and in return we receive safe-conduct. If we in any way violate these undertakings for which we ourselves stand surety, we forfeit our covenant [dhimma], and we become liable to the penalties for contumacy and sedition. Umar ibn al-Khittab replied: Sign what they ask, but add two clauses and impose them in addition to those which they have undertaken. They are: "They shall not buy anyone made prisoner by the Muslims," and "Whoever strikes a Muslim with deliberate intent shall forfeit the protection of this pact." (from Al-Turtushi, Siraj al-Muluk, pp. 229-230) This is a well documented fact and ibn kathir, the most famous tasfir, also made reference to this pact. In an ideal Islamic society, the Christians are granted a 'dhimmi' status, a protected class who enjoys limited freedom as long as he pays the protection fee called the 'jizya'. |

shaykhalislaam: Guidance is in the Hand of Allah
Praise be to Allah.
Allah has created man and given him reason, and He has sent down to him Revelation and sent to him Messengers to call him to the truth and warn him against falsehood.
Then He has left him to make his own choice.
“And say: ‘The truth is from your Lord.’ Then whosoever wills, let him believe; and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve.”
[al-Kahf 18:29 – interpretation of the meaning]
Allah commanded His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to convey the truth to all of mankind. Then they have the choice to do as they wish. If a person obeys, he benefits himself, and if he disobeys, he harms himself, as Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Say: ‘O you mankind! Now truth (i.e. the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad), has come to you from your Lord. So whosoever receives guidance, he does so for the good of his own self; and whosoever goes astray, he does so to his own loss; and I am not (set) over you as a Wakeel (disposer of affairs to oblige you for guidance).’”
[Yoonus 10:108]
Islam is the religion of the natural state of man (fitrah), the religion of reason and thought. Allah has distinguished the truth from falsehood. He has enjoined all that is good and forbidden all that is evil. He has permitted good things and forbidden evil things. There is no compulsion in religion because the benefits or harms come back upon the created being, not upon the Creator. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in taghoot (false gods) and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break.”
[al-Baqarah 2:256]
And Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Whosoever does righteous good deeds, it is for (the benefit of) his ownself; and whosoever does evil, it is against his ownself. And your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves.”
[Fussilat 41:46]
Guidance is in the hand of Allah. If Allah willed, He could guide all of mankind, for there is nothing that He cannot do on this earth or in the heavens. Nothing happens in His Dominion except that which He wills.
“Say: ‘With Allah is the perfect proof and argument, (i.e. the Oneness of Allah, the sending of His Messengers and His Holy Books, to mankind); had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all.’”
[al-An’am 6:149 – interpretation of the meaning]
But in His Wisdom, Allah has created us with the ability to choose, and He has sent down to us guidance and the Criterion. So whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will enter Paradise and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger will enter Hell, as Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, proofs have come to you from your Lord, so whosoever sees, will do so for (the good of) his ownself, and whosoever blinds himself, will do so to his own harm, and I (Muhammad) am not a watcher over you.”
[al-An’am 6:104]
The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has no part in guidance; all that he and the Muslims have to do is to explain and convey the message, and show them guidance but they cannot force people to follow it, as Allah said to His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (interpretation of the meaning):
“And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad) then compel mankind, until they become believers?”
[Yoonus 10:99]
And Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly.”
[al-‘Ankaboot 29:18]
Guidance to the truth is in the hand of Allah alone and no human being has any share in that, as Allah said to His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, you (O Muhammad) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided.”
[al-Qasas 28:56]
Allah guides whomsoever He wills and sends astray whomsoever He wills. He has told us that He guides those who obey Him and turn to Him, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“While as for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance and bestows on them their piety.”
[Muhammad 47:17]
But whoever disobeys Allah and turns away from Him, Allah will not guide him, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.”
[al-Zumar 39:3]
Allah is Omniscient and knows what has happened and is happening and what is yet to come. Allah knows the believers and the disbelievers, and what they will do, and He knows what their fate will be in the Hereafter. He has written all this in al-Lawh al-Mahfooz (the Preserved Tablet), as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And all things We have recorded in a Book.”
[al-Naba 78:29]
Allah has created man with the ability to choose, and He has created him able to do both, either believe or disbelieve, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful.”
[al-Insan 76:3]
Man has the choice in terms of his reason only; if he loses his reason by which he is able to distinguish between the alternatives of good and evil, truth and falsehood, then he is not accountable. Hence according to Islamic sharee’ah (law), the pen is lifted from the insane person (i.e., he is not accountable) until he recovers his senses, and from the child until he reaches the age of understanding, and from the sleeper until he wakes up. None of these people are accountable until they gain or recover the reason by which they may distinguish between the alternatives of faith and disbelief, truth and falsehood, and so on.
Whatever direction a person takes, there will be reward and punishment. If he obeys, there will be Paradise:
“Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds.”
[al-Shams 91:9 – interpretation of the meaning]
And if he disobeys, there will be Hell:
“And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism, or by doing every kind of evil wicked deed.”
[al-Shams 91:10 – interpretation of the meaning]
The choice of one of these two ways is something about which a person will be questioned by the Lord of the Worlds. Hence it is clear that faith or disbelief, obedience or disobedience, is a matter of personal choice. Allah has made reward and punishment dependent upon this choice:
“Whosoever does righteous good deeds, it is for (the benefit of) his ownself; and whosoever does evil, it is against his ownself. And your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves.”
[Fussilat 41:46]
Whoever loves Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and desires good in this world and in the Hereafter, let him enter Islam, and whoever turns away from that and is content with this world and has no interest in the Hereafter and does not submit, then his abode will be Hell. The individual is the one who will benefit or harm himself. There is no compulsion to choose either. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, this (Verses of the Quran) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah).”
[al-Insan 76:29]
And Allah knows best.

enilove: Quran is not the word of God Almighty. That is the plain truth. Quran is the word of Muhammad. For examples :
Allah SWT says:
وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِىٓ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِى فِى نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ تَخْشٰىهُ ۖ فَلَمَّا قَضٰى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنٰكَهَا لِكَىْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِىٓ أَزْوٰجِ أَدْعِيَآئِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا "And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished." (QS. Al-Ahzaab: Verse 37)
Allah SWT says:
يٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِىِّ إِلَّآ أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلٰى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نٰظِرِينَ إِنٰىهُ وَلٰكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلَا مُسْتَئْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذٰلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِى النَّبِىَّ فَيَسْتَحْىِۦ مِنْكُمْ ۖ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦ مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتٰعًا فَسْئَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَآءِ حِجَابٍ ۚ ذٰلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَنْ تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَآ أَنْ تَنْكِحُوٓا أَزْوٰجَهُ ۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦٓ أَبَدًا ۚ إِنَّ ذٰلِكُمْ كَانَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمًا "O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity." (QS. Al-Ahzaab: Verse 53)
These suras above is nothing but revelations to soothe the need , motive and desires of Muhammad. Those are not the words of a true God. The above verses a simply mohammed's wishes and desires. It has no any divine revelation or origin. If I ask my friend to give me his car because mine is faulty and at the same time claimed divine original of my request, does that mean God actually asked to colect another person's car? This is exactly was mohammed was doing: claiming a divine revelation to satisfy his human needs and wants. Even Aisha, one of mohammed's wives, in one of the hadit narrations confronted mohammed thus: 'it seems your lord is always ready to fulfil your heart desires. Whatever mohammed desires, allahh was always there to provide a revelation to that effect. |

Islam does not salaan or peace. You can check this out in any unbiased online islamic dictionay. You may not like islam to be define thus but thats the fact. shaykhalislaam: How does Islam guarantee human rights?
Freedom of conscience is laid down by the Quran itself:
There is no compulsion in religion’. (2:256)
The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred whether a person is Muslim or not.
Racism is incomprehensible to Muslims, for the Quran speaks of human equality in the following terms:
O mankind! We created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may come to know one another. Truly, the most honored of you in God’s sight is the greatest of you in piety. God is All-Knowing, All Aware (49-13)

shaykhalislaam: What does Islam say about war?
Like Christianity, Islam permits fighting in self-defense, in defense of religion, or on the part of those who have been expelled forcibly from their homes. It lays down strict rules of combat which include prohibitions against harming civilians and against destroying crops, trees and livestock. As Muslims see it, injustice would be triumphant in the world if good men were not prepared to risk their lives in a righteous cause.
Quran says:
Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not transgress limits. God does not love transgressors. (2:190)
If they seek peace, then seek you peace. And trust in God for He is the One that heareth and knoweth all things. (8:61)
War, therefore, is the last resort, and is subject to the rigorous conditions laid down by the sacred law. The term jihad literally means ‘struggle’, and Muslims believe that there are two kinds of jihad. The other ‘jihad’ is the inner struggle which everyone wages against egotistic desires, for the sake of attaining inner peace. Islamuc war, after thr capture of mecca, had always been offensuve. I can show you from the qoran and the hadith if you dont mind. |

shaykhalislaam: Does Islam tolerate other beliefs?
The Quran says: God forbids you not, with regards to those who fight you not for [your] faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them; for God loveth those who are just. Quran 60 verse 8
It is one function of Islamic law to protect the privileged status of minorities, and this is why non-Muslim places of worship have flourished all over the Islamic world. History provides many examples of Muslim tolerance towards other faiths: when the caliph Omar entered Jerusalem in the year 634, Islam granted freedom of worship to all religious communities in the city.
Islamic law also permits non-Muslim minorities to set up their own courts, which implement family laws drawn up by the minorities themselves.
The Patriarch invited him to pray in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, but he preferred to pray outside its gates, saying that if he accepted, later generations of Muslims might use his action as an excuse to turn it into a mosque. No, islam is the world's most intoleranr religion (quran 9:29, 5:51, 8:39). In saudi arabia, the custodian of islam, no church, synagogue, bible is permitted. If any saudi citizen convert to christianity, the penalty is death. |

shaykhalislaam: Are there any other sacred sources?
Yes, the sunna, the practice and example of the Prophet, is the second authority for Muslims. A hadith is a reliably transmitted report of what the Prophet said, did, or approved. Belief in the sunna is part of the Islamic faith.
Examples of the Prophet’s sayings
The Prophet said:
‘God has no mercy on one who has no mercy for others.’
‘None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself.’
‘He who eats his fill while his neighbor goes without food is not a believer.
‘Powerful is not he who knocks the other down, indeed powerful is he who controls himself in a fit of anger. ‘
‘God does not judge according to your bodies and appearances but He scans your hearts and looks into your deeds. The hadith, commonly knowns as the sunnah, was compiled about 250 years after the death of mohammed. The most authoritative hadith was compiled by imam bukhari, from uzbekistan, a persian and not even an arab. The hadith is like a gossip and\or chinese whisper about the deeds and sayins of mohammed. Most of the hadith had been deemed as either unauthentic or outright fabrications. Some muslims, especially the shia, had rejected the hadith of bukari as filled with lies and fabrications. |

shaykhalislaam: What is the Qur’an?
The Quran is a record of the exact words revealed by God through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad. It was memorized by Muhammad and then dictated to his Companions, and written down by scribes, who cross-checked it during his lifetime. Not one word of its 114 chapters, Suras, has been changed over the centuries, so that the Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed to Muhammad fourteen centuries ago.
This opening chapter of The Quran, the Fatiha, is central in Islamic prayer. It contains the essence of The Quran and is recited during every prayer. No, the quran of today was compiled by othman ibn affan, the 3rd rightly guided khalifa. Mohammed never authorized the compilation of the quran as a religios document: it was the idea of the sahabas, especially omar, after the battle of yamama when most of the hafeezs were killed. The compilation was supervised by zaid ibn thabit, the adopted son of mohammed and was finally approved by uthman ibn affan, the reigning khalifa at that time. Other quranic text not acceptable by othman were burnt hence there is no any survival manuscript that can be dated to mohammed's era, even the ones that were copied by the scribes,, aming which is zaid ibn thabit. |

shaykhalislaam: How did Muhammad become a prophet and a messenger of God?
At the age of 40, while engaged in a meditative retreat, Muhammad received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. This revelation, which continued for twenty-three years, is known as the Quran.
As soon as he began to recite the words he heard from Gabriel, and to preach the truth which God had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered bitter persecution, which grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to emigrate. This event, the Hijra, ‘migration’, in which they left Makkah for the city of Madinah some 260 miles to the north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar.
After several years, the Prophet and his followers were able to return to Makkah, where they forgave their enemies and established Islam definitively. Before the Prophet died at the age of 63, the greater part of Arabia was Muslim, and within a century of his death Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far East as China. Where did you get the information that it was jibril that spoke to mohammed at the cave of hira? Provide proof and evidence from authentic islamic sources. |

shaykhalislaam: Who is Muhammad?
Muhammad, was born in Makkah in the year 570, at a time when Christianity was not yet fully established in Europe. Since his father died before his birth, and his mother shortly afterwards, he was raised by his uncle from the respected tribe of Quraysh. As he grew up, he became known for his truthfulness, generosity and sincerity, so that he was sought after for his ability to arbitrate in disputes. The historians describe him as calm and meditative.
Muhammad was of a deeply religious nature, and had long detested the decadence of his society. It became his habit to meditate from time to time in the Cave of Hira near the summit of Jabal al-Nur, the ‘Mountain of Light’ near Makkah. Yes, mohammed was deeply religios. The question you need ask yourself is which god was mohammed devoted before his encounter with the so-caled angel gabriel? Which God was his father serving before mohammed was born? |

shaykhalislaam: What is the Ka’ba?
The Ka`ba is the place of worship which God commanded Abraham and Ishmael to build over four thousand years ago. The building was constructed of stone on what many believe was the original site of a sanctuary established by Adam. God commanded Abraham to summon all mankind to visit this place, and when pilgrims go there today they say ‘At Thy service, O Lord’, in response to Abraham’s summons. The kabba, in the pre-islamic era, is the home to about 360 arabian idols, allahh inclusive. Mohanned's father abdullahh ibn abdulmutalib was the custodian of this sacred site before mohammed was born. The FESTAC '77 art and culture festival was modelled after the arabian cultural festival where each country show-cased theit traditional gods and religion to the outside world through the festival. The kabba was a place where the arabians host a cultural festival and displayed their gods for other arabian tribes to see and even worship, there is no any Jewish link to the kabaa. Jesus did not go there |

shaykhalislaam: Do Islam and Christianity have different origins?
No. Together with Judaism, they go back to the prophet and patriarch Abraham, and their three prophets are directly descended from his sons, Muhammad from the elder son Ishmael, and Moses and Jesus from the younger son Isaac. Abraham established the settlement which today is the city of Makkah, and built the Ka’ba towards which all Muslims turn when they pray. Yes, islam and christianity have different origin and belief systems. Even the qoran said so (quran 9:28-30, 98:6, 5:51, etc) and hadith inclusive. |

shaykhalislaam: What does Islam mean?
The Arabic word ‘Islam’ simply means ‘submission’, and derives from a word meaning ‘peace’. In a religious context it means complete submission to the will of God.
Muhammadanism is thus a misnomer because it suggests that Muslims worship Muhammad rather than God. ‘Allah’ is the Arabic name for God, which is used by Arab Muslims and Christians alike. Islam means submission and not peace. Dont ceate confussion here. Who are you to subit to? Allahh and his messenger. Why should you submit? To be free from bodily harm (quran 9:29) |

shaykhalislaam: What do Muslims believe?
Muslims believe in One, Unique, Incomparable God; in the Angels created by Him; in the prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; in the Day of Judgement and individual accountability for actions; in God’s complete authority over human destiny and in life after death. Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace be upon them. But God’s final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel. Even the demons believe in one God and they tremble (James 2:19) If your criteria is believing in one God then Islam is not the only religion that talked about one God The Jews started the concept of one God when mohammed's forefathers were still worshipping the over 360 idols at kabba and till date the Jews, and many christian denominations, preach one God. Can I believe in one God and still reject mohammed as a prophet? Yes Is Islam all about mohammed and allahh the dormant partner? Yes. Did mohammed see the so-called angel jibril with his own eyes? No. Did the so-called angel jibril introduce himself to mohammed as the angel jibril? No Who told mohammed that it was jibril that allegedly spoke to him? Waraqa, an arab catholic. Was waraqa 100% sure of the information he passed to mohammed? No His only guessed that the entity mohammed encountered at the cave of hira 'must be' jibril. This is how the so-called 'prophetic' ministry of mohammed started. We have read your books, ibn Ishaq's sira rasool allahh inclusive. |

Two billion people from a vast range of races, nationalities and cultures across the globe – from the southern Philippines to Nigeria – are united by their common Islamic faith.
