Why the silence on this thread on the Super Falcons match against SA?
Shameful that a match of such magnitude in our own back yard we can’t even find the match to watch online.

What beautiful thing did he do on the wing with zero dribbles.

Messi has never had a beautiful game with less than 3 dribbles completed, Okereke didn't have attempt one.
😂😂😂 A player will make 20 back passes in a match and it will be recorded in stats as 20 accurate passes. I ask again did you watch the match oga?

I said it earlier that most of our wingers will not start at Royal Antwerp because of how Royal Antwerp likes to play.

Royal Antwerp is a team that loves to keep possession of the ball especially in the opposition's half. To achieve this you need as one of the requirements: wingers who are not limited in their passing and can keep the ball. With the exception of Ejuke none of our wingers meets the aforementioned criteria. This is nothing but the truth.

It is only in the striker role that we have depth, we don't really have excellent wingers. We have wingers who can only dribble and shoot, but what happens when the opposition seats too deep and uses zonal marking, you will require tactical wingers who are not limited in their passing to break down the opposition.
If any one bothered to watch David Okereke for Torino before the international break, you will know we have a ready and better goal scoring replacement for Moses Simon. He played that wing beautifully for Torino.

Both have different applications and or uses.

Dennis is a player who understands defending from the front, he does that better than all our strikers. He is a player that likes to win, he carries Osimhen kind of vibes. He is a fantastic dribbler. He seems to have redefined himself especially in the striker role.

However his passing, holding on to the ball, are areas he needs to work on, those deficiencies limits his role as a winger, but he excels well as a striker.
Oga Abeg…….

Passes don't win match, goals do.

Wirtz scored within 8 seconds of KO with just one pass from Kroos. Your tikitaka team would have passed the ball through Abule Egba, Surulere, Ketu, Ikeja and Ikorodu before the the ball go reach the final third.

The simple reason I am clamoring for Amunike is he is the best when it comes to delivering the possessive offensive philosophy. He understands the modern game and trained fully in it. If we had someone like Addo as a Nigerian I will call for him but we don't. Addo is also sound in the modern game. Has a lot to do with Pep Guardiola's influence on German football.

It will be hard for us to pull a foreign coach well versed in the modern game, that is why the clamor for Amunike.

It is not just about CV but delivering the philosophy.
Am sure you guys are aware that it takes time to imbue the so called “philosophy” on players of the national team. The coach just has 2 to 3 days to train with the players. The players go back to their clubs to a different system. Till the next international break. It’s in a tournament situation the philosophy will work. Spain did well in the past as most of the squad was from Barcelona and the national team coach did not have a lot of work to do.

I just checked eagles ratings and the guy got good reviews.Pls why are you so harsh on him or is there anything hidden cuz I watched the match and he did well than Awaziem,Bruno and Osayi who gave Ghana undue penalty.
Sir, am not harsh. We are used to the quality of Aina and Osayi Samuel in that position. Most his passes were back passes and and side passes. Are we going for quality or quantity?

Truid baba calm down,Tiaminu is a debutant and his debut is better than the debuts of some of the big boys that are now pillars in the team or you are on him just cuz he was NPFL now Tanzania league boy.
Na so so back pass and wayward pass debut na we go dey praise. He is not an upgrade on what we have presently. This should be his final and last game. No sentiments.

Why condemning the same man that gave Olisa Ndah wild card to prestigious Afcon just cuz he picked Tiaminu over the same Ndah.My only grouse with the invitation is why not from NPFL instead of Tanzania….Ismail Sodiq of Remo star should have replaced Ola Aina.
Sir, the information I got is that this Tiaminu guy just left Insurance of Benin and joined the Tanzanian club. I don’t think he has even played a match for them. He is regarded as one of the best defenders in the NPFL.

😂😂 Una head don dey swell now Abi? You guys were right. His best attribute at a rating of 75 was his long balls. That kept most defences humble. But hey…. was a simulation.
