Hon what is the frequency on Amos 5

Omotech, pls download the latest software of V3.08p for SRT 4950m from crosat. I believe the issues would be fixed with this software that came out in Dec 2014. Just follow the procedure and don't forget to OK it from the window that pops up from the left side of the Biss Patch Menu, cheers.

Omotech: Pls follow these steps for setting BISS keys on Strong SRT 4950. 1. Download the latest software V3.08P from crosat into a virus free USB Flash 2. Unzip it and load it into your receiver & your receiver will reboot after successful upload 3. Press the Menu key on your remote and go to Patch (No. 4 under Installation) 4. Press OK on the Patch, then go to Manual Key on the patch menu and press OK 5. You will see another Patch Menu with Viaccess, press right volume key 6 times and it will take you BISS Table. 6. Scroll down (using the CH arrow up & down key) and you would see IRIB Varzesh and TV 3 for Ghana (No 77 & 87 or thereabout respectively) 7. Press F1 key on your remote and edit the IRIB Varzesh then OK it and do same for TV3 as well and you are there. If you still need further clarification pls do not hesitate to let me know. This procedure covers SRT 4950H, SRT 4950M & SRT 4950 and the only condition is that you must download the appropriate software for each.

I'm talking of SRT 4950H and not 4950!

You can also download the latest software 3.09p of 19th Jan 2015 for Strong 4950 series at the popular crosat.

Having compared Strong SRT 4950h and SRT 4922A, I have personally come to the conclusion that SRT 4950h is far ahead of 4922A once you know how to operate it. This is to put to rest about salient point of which is better. SRT 4950 series are awesome machines with twin tuners.

Sunene1, Pls how do we put biss keys in Strong SRT 4950h. You can start your explanation from patch, cos d latest software downloaded has this feature.

I believe Champion TV would show on any HD decoder but if you get their decoder too fine. They should know that we die hard FTA viewers can not be buying every tom, dick & harry decoders otherwise most of us would have gotten more than 50 decoders at home.

Enjoy why it lasts!!!. FTA is like a perfect
market where there is free entry and exit.

Dear Akinbo24, Pls I have just got Besthd 4u decoder and I need detailed steps on how to set it up and to search for satellite tv stations on C band and KU as I don't know how to go about it presently. Also let me know the best satellite out of mtn, glo, airtel & etisalat for it and whether it is a must to load data on them before it can work. Thank u in advance.

As long as d**v refused to stop their exploitation there will always be a way out. Premium channels that people pay N11,000 for in Nigeria per month is just N3,000 in S.A. so who is fooling who? So as long as any commodity cannot go round affordable wise there would always be Black Market period

Is there any beta alternative to Qsat cos I'm fed up, fed up, fed up!!!

There was this decoder called Saxtrem S18 HD which we thought would give Qsat a good fight but we don't hear anything about it anymore or can somebody in the house tell us more about this decoder

Hello house, I like to share my experience with u on my Queen Q11g. Like I said earlier on this forum, I had been finding it difficult to connect to server via all sims: mtn, glo & Airtel for the past 4 weeks despite the fact that Glo, mtn & etibaba are strong in my area and of course we are all aware that etibaba is on strike with our queen.
I tried all I could but to no avail but a friend of mine who came on a visit just decided to tight up the antenna properly at the back of my queen and that was it !!! - I can now connect to the network and server. So I believe this is an experience worth sharing with my people here.
