Yes because the millions living in IDP camps, the millions more who are refugees in Chad, Niger, Benin Republic etc and the tens of thousands who have lost their lives in bandit/herdsmen,Islamic criminal/Boko Haram/ISWAP attacks, cultists, armed robbers etc is a very strong motivation to stay together while the lazy unproductive Hausa/Fulanis steal from the South? Rossikki: If Nigeria 'breaks', do you think it will just be a peaceful parting of ways in which nobody's life is disrupted?
If that is what you think, think again.
There will be MASSIVE social disruption and humanitarian crises. Millions of people now based in various parts of Nigeria that are not their states of origin will be categorised as illegal aliens overnight, uprooted, and forced to return 'home'.
Refugee crises would ensue all over the place. Businesses would be lost. Crime would skyrocket. Localised conflicts over access to land by new immigrants would lead to the rise of warlords, and massive bloodshed.
It would be absolutely catastrophic.
I think those who do not want Nigeria to ''break'' are people with common sense, intelligence and foresight, and those who wish the country to break are thoughtless, ignorant, dumb, visionless fools with no common sense. And ironically, this group will feel the pain of that national splintering more than anyone else, since they are the ones settled in various regions across the country in their millions, and will have their lives and livelihoods completely destroyed in the mayhem. |

A Youth Movement on Twitter, Arise Nigerian Youths has revealed that the autopsy conducted on Ifeoma Abugu, a corps member killed by members of the Nigeria Police Force in September 2020, showed that she was strangulated. The group further stated that the autopsy also showed that Abugu's private parts were heavily mutilated. In a post on their Twitter page, the group urged all well-meaning Nigerians to join in the fight to get justice for Abugu. The tweet read, “Do you remember Miss Ifeoma Abugu of Abuja NYSC who was killed by Police in Sept 2020? “The recent autopsy report revealed she died of strangulation and her private parts were heavily mutilated too, by the police. Please retweet as we seek justice for Ifeoma. “Last year, in defence to cover this sinister act, the Abuja Police HQ released a statement saying she died of drug abuse but the autopsy reported the opposite. Ifeoma will not die in vain. “The judicial panel has ordered the police to release her remains for final interment. We are calling on Nigerians to join us in seeking justice for her please." Twenty-eight-year-old Abugu had just finished the mandatory one-year National Youth Service when she travelled to Abuja, to visit her fiance, Ugwuna. At her fiance’s residence in Wumba village, Lokogoma, some operatives of the now-defunct police unit, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) reportedly stormed the house, looking for Ugwuna. But when they could not find their target, Ifeoma was arrested in place of her fiance. Efforts by her loved ones to get her out of police custody on the same day were not successful and the next day, she was announced dead. The officers claimed that Ifeoma had a cocaine overdose. Ifeoma’s brother, Alex, said when they saw her corpse, “there were signs that she was sexually assaulted”. Yoruba Youths Hoist Oduduwa Republic Flags In LagosSome Yoruba youths on Monday removed Nigerian flags and replaced them with Oduduwa Republic flags around Teslim Balogun Stadium, in Surulere, Lagos State.
This was seen in a viral video shared on Instagram.
Nigeria is facing many challenges, some bordering on insecurity in the South which have recently contributed to agitations for self-determination.
The unabated killing and kidnapping of people in the South-West by suspected Fulani herdsmen and the Nigerian government's failure to solve the problem have also caused tensions between the region and North.
The murderous herders have killed thousands of people, burnt houses, destroyed farms and people's means of livelihood, displaced villagers, raped women, among other atrocities yet the government and security agencies have appeared helpless in tackling the problems.
The hoisting of Oduduwa flags by these youths might also be connected with what a Yoruba elder statesman, Prof. Banji Akintoye, recently said in an interview that “the remedy to the bondage we are in, the remedy to the enslavement we are suffering on our ancestral space is called self-determination." http://saharareporters.com/2021/03/17/yoruba-youths-hoist-oduduwa-republic-flags-lagos

Politics › Protesters Kick Against Recruitment Of Mainly Northerners Into PEF Board by TruthHurts1(op): 4:13pm On Mar 17, 2021 |
Hundreds of protesters on Wednesday stormed the headquarters of the Petroleum Equalisation Fund (Management) Board in Abuja to demand the sacking of its Executive Director, Ahmed Bobboi, over lopsided recruitment. The protesters, numbering over 500, vowed to take their peaceful rally to the presidential villa if their demand was not met. They called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sack Bobboi, saying his tenure has been blighted by nepotism and blatant abuse of office. Speaking on behalf of the protesters, Coalition for Good Governance and Rule of Law President, Comrade Ikpa Isaac, faulted the recruitment exercise conducted by the agency in 2020, stating that of the 200 persons hired, only 17 persons were from the oil-rich states. According to Ikpa, this shows the insensitivity of the Executive Secretary, whom he says is not in tune with the peculiarities of the time that require creating a level playing ground for all Nigerians to actualse their dreams. Describing the action as "despicable", Ikpa noted that such is capable of setting the country on a dangerous path of disintegration. While calling on Bobboi to reverse the recruitment or resign from office, Ikpa said any inaction would see the protesters continue their peaceful rally and extend it to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Presidential Villa. The group further vowed to take all necessary legal actions to protect the Nigerian masses and the laws of the land. http://saharareporters.com/2021/03/17/protesters-ask-buhari-sack-petroleum-equalisation-fund-boss-over-lopsided-recruitment |

How Armoured Carriers, Others Acquired Under Buratai From $1billion Fund Were Stolen By Boko Haram
No fewer than 15 Armoured Personnel Carriers and tanks purchased for the Nigerian Army in 2020 under the immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai (retd.), from the $1 billion fund approved by the Nigerian government were lost to the Boko Haram terrorists within the same year they were bought.
SaharaReporters learnt that at least four countries supplied the APCs to the Nigerian Army in 2020 which were China, South Korea, United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
The breakdown of the Armoured Personnel Carriers obtained by SaharaReporters further revealed that about 21 armoured carriers were ordered between 2018 and 2019 when the $1 billion fund from the Excess Crude Account was approved and released to the military to aid the counter-insurgency war in the North-East.
The President Muhammadu Buhari government – against public criticisms on whether the funds would not be mismanaged – had gone ahead to approve the ECA fund in April 2018.
SaharaReporters learnt that when the funds which were allotted to the army came, Buratai deployed part of it to obtain the APCs from the four countries – although the arms ended up being stolen or destroyed by the Boko Haram terrorists the same year due to Buratai’s poor battle judgment and politicisation of the army under his watch.
On Wednesday, the breakdown of the 21 APCs ordered between 2018 and 2020 showed that, “Nigeria ordered six VT-4 and ZTL-09 armoured tanks from China in 2019 and the six were supplied in 2020. Nigeria ordered three Marauder APCs from South Africa in 2018 and the three were supplied in 2019. Nigeria ordered five KLTV-181 armoured carriers from South Korea in 2020 and the five came in 2020.
“Finally, Nigeria ordered eight Phantom-2 armoured carriers from the United Arab Emirates in 2020 and the eight were supplied in 2020.”
Sources in the army said about 15 of the APCs have been stolen by the insurgents.
“Most of the APCs were stolen by the Boko Haram during various operations in 2020. The terrorists knew through informants in the army that new ammunition came and so, they intensified attacks on military bases. The army under Buratai was already distressed, politicised and everyone was an informant,” a top source in the army revealed.
“In December 2020, we lost some of them to the Islamic State West Africa Province’s fighters. We lost the South Korea’s KLTV-181 military tactical-utility vehicle which were designed and manufactured by Kia Motors Corporation,” he further explained.
SaharaReporters had exclusively reported on Tuesday that about $381 million was released to the army and navy out of the $1billion for the purchase of critical equipment.
Last week, the National Security Adviser, Maj Gen Babagana Monguno (retd,), had raised an alarm that the funds meant for the purchase of arms to fight Boko Haram and other security challenges in the country were missing.
Although under pressure, he later recanted and said he was misquoted.
In an interview he granted to the BBC Hausa, Monguno had said, “Mr President is going to investigate those funds. As we are talking with you at present, the state governors, the Governors Forum have started raising questions in that direction. $1 billion has been released, and that has been released, and nothing seems to be changing. So I assure you that the president will not take this lightly.
“The funds are nowhere to be found and the weapons have not been seen and the newly appointed service chiefs have declared that they have not seen the weapons.” http://saharareporters.com/2021/03/17/exclusive-how-armoured-carriers-others-acquired-under-buratai-1billion-fund-were-stolen

As for brains, most people fall within a particular mid level when it comes to intelligence. Unless you're an Einstein with an IQ of over 160, it wouldn't be fair to belittle anyone on the grounds of intelligence. Zzor: Men are very good at saying a particular thing but act the exact opposite, you will see men all over social media saying they will go for brains over beauty but in reality you will see these same men ignoring the brain and going extra length to attract a beautiful lady and eventually marry them.I have a friend (a first class product)who is bitterly complaining of not attracting men and that if she had options she will choose beauty first and a moderate brain.
