President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Defence Headquarters to begin investigation of the incident involving the troops of 93 Battalion, Takum, Taraba, which resulted in the death of three police officers and a civilian.

Chief of Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar, said President Buhari gave the directive on Thursday during a meeting of the National Security Council at the State House, Abuja, Igbere TV reports.

“The council also decided that the unfortunate incidents in Taraba State in Ibi, a committee will be setup under the Defence Headquarters to critically look into the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident,” he said.

Police and the army had earlier announced a Joint Investigation Panel to investigate the incident.

Abubakar also said that the council evaluated the current strategy of managing internal security operations across the country.

“We are making substantial progress in all the areas of conflicts,’’ he said.

The air chief said the introduction of technology and drones to fight crimes was also discussed.

And he has never ordered investigation on herdsmen killings. He is sending a strong message that the herdsmen are doing his bidding. Otherwise, why shouldn't the herdsmen killings be investigated?

They also mocked at Noah when he announced that flood will come and destroy them. It took about 120 years for the ark to get completed and the flood did come. And Jesus said his return will be like the days of Noah. So, you are already fulfilling part of the prophecy. He sure will come and no one can stop him. The grave could not hold him down, it's certain the principalities in the heavenly can't stop him from coming down.

Jesus' resurrection is in dispute because pointing to an empty tomb means nothing, point to an empty tomb that is only attested to in a book is less than useless. The one thing that would have proven that Jesus is resurrected is the fabled 2nd coming that was supposed to happen within the lifetimes of the apostles that you are still waiting for 1980+ years later. Do you want to bet that till you die you will not see this so called 2nd coming? Do you want to bet that in the next 20years when it will be fully 2000years since the supposed death and resurrection of Christ this event will still not have taken place?

They should declare a state of emergency on security issues. The first thing they should quickly do is to change the constitution to allow for state to have it's own police.

They should also allow states that can generate it's own power to do so.

States should be allowed to manage it's resources and pay tax to federal government. Naira was stronger than dollar when regions where allowed to control their resources.

I have been poisoned several times and I am still alive.

I have prayed for the dick and see them recover. I remember a crippled man who got healed in one of my meeting. I never even prayed for him. The power of God touched him and he was healed. He carried his clutches home and he is still healed.

Off course not everyone get healed because it also depends on the recipient's faith. Even our Lord Jesus didn't heal everyone.

I have received financial miracles supernaturally.

God's word is truth and it will only work for those who believe.

The resurrection of our Lord Jesus is a proof that the Bible is truth. No one till date could refute the fact that Jesus died and rose again. His tomb is empty.

For him to have millions of followers without carrying sword is a pointer to the fact that he is changing lives and more people are coming to him daily.

You had better come to Jesus before it is too late because you can't escape him. He is the one appointed to judge the living and the dead. If you don't accept him now as your Lord and personal Saviour, you will meet him as your judge.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State on Monday rose from a crucial meeting with Vigilante/Neighbourhood Watch groups in the 17 local government areas of the state and took decisive decisions towards strengthening the security of the state.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Simon Ortuanya, shortly after the meeting, stated that the state government upon reviewing the security situation in the state resolved to send an Anti-kidnapping Bill to the state assembly as an Executive Bill, to ensure maximum security.

According to the statement, the state government also resolved to immediately overhaul the Vigilante Watch structure in the state for optimised service delivery, adding that the Enugu State Neigbourhood Watch Law 2016 will equally be reviewed.

Mr Ugwuanyi’s administration further resolved to employ 1,700 Forest Guards within 30 days, comprising 100 persons per local government area, in compliance with the recent decision of theSouth-East Governors Forum on community policing.

It informed interested applicants with a passion for service to submit their application at the office of the Security Chief of the State Security Services (SSS) in their respective local government areas of origin for necessary action.

The state government also approved the payment of stipends to 5,200 Vigilante/Neighbourhood Watch personnel comprising 20 persons per ward in the state, reassuring its commitment to the peace and security of lives and property.

Please don't give them hunters gun. Give them guns that can match that of the herdsmen. Use drone and helicopter to get their locations at night. No matter where they are in the forest, at night, they must light fire to see and warm themselves. Some have already built even homes in the Bush powered by generator. We should not wait for them to come out. We should go and smoke them out. And provide the vigilantes with bullet proof vest.

Barely four days a Catholic priest, Rev Father Paul Offu was shot dead, and a commercial driver, Kenneth Igwe abducted, a traditional ruler was on Thursday night kidnapped almost on the same spot.

They should use helicopters to search for them in the forest like they did when those pastors were kidnapped.

Every monarch should have his personal security. What is the need of holding big titles without a difference from the ordinary man?

Parents has to be careful the kind of school their kids attend. Churches should try and bring back moral messages to their members. School proprietors should please monitor their students.
