Sometime in November 2022, our then governor woke up one morning and declared the appointment of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) special advisers in Rivers state.

Like, only him(one Governor) will have 100,000 persons advising him on political matters.

Everybody in Port Harcourt turned Governor's SA.

Even the Girl that sells Mama put in front of our house then, was Governor's SA.

Few weeks later he upgraded it to 200,000 SA's.

He paid them 20,000 naira monthly.

If you know the things Wike did in Rivers state, you go dey faint dey wake up minute by minute.

😂😂😂

All those he vilified while they were in PDP with him have all left him to join APC.

Joining APC now would be suicidal to him.

Just In: Rivers APC Chairman Tony Okocha hands Governor Siminalayi Fubara the APC membership card at Government House, Port Harcourt

In a dramatic show of party symbolism, Rivers State APC chairman Tony Okocha presented the APC membership card to Governor Siminalayi Fubara during a meeting at Government House, Port Harcourt. The gesture comes amid heightened tension between the governor and the APC‑led faction, which has repeatedly labeled Fubara’s recent outreach to pro‑Wike lawmakers a “Greek gift” and issued a 48‑hour ultimatum for his resignation or impeachment .

Okocha’s move underscores the party’s attempt to assert its influence over the state’s political landscape, even as the governor faces mounting pressure from the APC and the Rivers State House of Assembly. The meeting, held behind closed doors, is being closely watched for any sign of a political reconciliation or further escalation.

PoliticsI Won’t Follow Adeleke To Accord, Tinubu Behind PDP Crisis – Oyinlola by Truths9ja(op): 11:22am On Dec 12, 2025
A former governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has disclosed that he will not follow Governor Ademola Adeleke, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the Accord Party ahead of the August 8, 2026, governorship election.

The former governor equally alleged that President Bola Tinubu is the unseen force behind the crises rocking the PDP.

He spoke on Thursday at the second matriculation ceremony of Alolade Oyinlola College of Health Sciences and Information Technology, Okuku, Osun State, where about 90 students were formally admitted.

The ex-military administrator of Lagos State said he would remain in the PDP unless the party ceases to exist, insisting that Tinubu was fuelling internal disputes to smoothen his path to a second term.

“I won’t leave PDP unless it goes into extinction. I am not following Demola to Accord (Party). At my age, I can’t be pushed around. I’m gradually leaving active politics. I will be 75 in February (2026).

“The problem would have been solved but for the interference of Tinubu. He sees PDP as a major challenge poised on his 2027 ambition. He doesn’t want to run, he wants to walk into the Villa,” Oyinlola said.

Addressing the matriculating students, Oyinlola, who is the proprietor of the institution, reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing nationally and globally relevant education in health sciences and information management.

He encouraged the students to take their studies seriously, engage their instructors, and build meaningful relationships

He said, ”This institution is built on the core belief that quality health education and sound information management are essential pillars for sustainable development in Nigeria.

“Our programmes are designed not only to equip you with technical knowledge and professional competence but also to instil values of integrity, compassion, responsibility and leadership. These qualities are indispensable in the health and information sectors where people’s lives, well-being and futures depend on your expertise and character.”

Multiple Grammy-nominated Nigerian artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed what he believes will happen if his uncle and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, loses his re-election bid in 2026.

Davido stated this in a post on X on Wednesday while reacting to an X user’s comment.

The user, @Wewe_of_Lagos, had claimed that Davido would be the artist to compose campaign songs for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027 if Governor Adeleke failed to secure a second term.

He wrote, “If e lose na Davido go compose song for APC during 2027 campaign.”

Responding, Davido said if Adeleke loses the election, his family can simply return to their multi-billion-dollar business ventures.

He wrote, “Or we can just go back to our multi billion dollar company…”

PoliticsNo Court Judgment Affirms Executive Rascality - Osun APC by Truths9ja(op): 5:46am On Dec 12, 2025
No Court Judgment Affirms Executive Rascality, Illegality Of 22nd February 2025 PDP's Purported Local Government Elections - Osun APC

Contrary to the cheap propaganda being spread by the embattled members and the Peoples Democratic Party now Accord Party-led government in Osun State, what Hon. Justice A. L. Akintola of the Oyo State High Court ruled on today, 11th December 2025, was the application filed by the reinstated APC chairmen and councillors urging the court to set aside the interim order granted to the Applicants in
Suit No. I/1149/2025: Between: Attorney General of Osun State & Anor v. UBA PLC over the local government funds in the custody of the United Bank for Africa (UBA).

There is no any relief granted which directed the self-acclaimed sit -at-home members of the ACCORD Party/PDP to parade themselves as elected officers of the local government councils or any court order sacking the reinstated APC chairmen and councillors from the council.

The court stated that the objectors were not yet parties before it and, as such, struck out the application and adjourned the matter to 18th December, 2025.

Recall that a petition against Hon. Justice A. L. Akintola of Oyo State High Court is pending at the National Judicial Council (NJC) over the manner he assumed jurisdiction and granted interim orders over the Osun State Local Government matter, the judge refused to set aside the orders.

Another petition was also written to the Chief Judge of the Oyo State High Court stating loss of confidence in this Justice Akintola for sitting in Oyo State on a matter emanating from Osun State.

Notwithstanding the pendency of the two petitions and the Supreme Court judgment delivered on 5th December, 2025, dismissing the Osun State Government's suit, the judge refused to set aside the interim order whereas the pendency of the suit at the Supreme Court was the reason the judge said such order ought to be preserved.

Members of the public are hereby urged to disregard the cheap propaganda of the embattled state government as such is just a ploy to create tension and deceitfully keep dying hopes of their members.

Members of the public are further advised to be wary of deceits, lies and misinformation being used as a political tools by these politically outcast members of the PDP and Accord parties in the state.

Recall that similar lies and falsified facts of the Supreme Court's judgment delivered on 5th December, 2025 were quickly adopted to pacify themselves and their members over the colossal defeat they suffered when the apex court dismissed their suit.

While these liars were on radio, social media and television to mislead the public over the dismissal of the suit, they had on the same 5th December 2025 surreptitiously run to the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo to file a fresh Suit No. FHC/OS/CS/2025 on the same subject matter dismissed by the apex court.
This fact they continue to hide from the public.

The APC reinstated local government chairmen and councillors are lawfully in charge of the local governments and will continue to discharge their lawful duties as stipulated by the Constitution.

The law enforcement agencies are also urged to caution the manner these shameful people use to twist judicial system to curry undue attention from the members of the public who have become wiser than their overused antics.

Chairman, Osun State APC.

PoliticsLG Allocations: Supreme Court strikes out 'incompetent' Osun Govt's suit by Truths9ja(op): 10:34am On Dec 05, 2025
The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a suit filed by the Osun State Government seeking to compel the Federal Government to release local government allocations allegedly withheld from the state’s 30 councils.

A seven-member panel of the apex court, in a majority decision of six to one, ruled that the case was incompetent. Delivering the lead judgment, Justice Mohammed Idris held that Osun State lacked the legal standing to invoke the Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction on behalf of the local government councils.

The court explained that its original jurisdiction applies strictly to disputes between the Federal Government and a state, not between the Federal Government and local councils, which are recognised as independent bodies capable of instituting their own actions. Consequently, the Justices found that only the councils themselves could challenge the alleged withholding of funds.

Justice Idris also rejected the Osun Attorney-General’s argument that the matter qualified as public interest litigation, stressing that procedural requirements could not be sidestepped.

Although the panel upheld the preliminary objection raised by the Attorney-General of the Federation, it nonetheless urged the Federal Government to fully implement earlier judgments granting financial autonomy to all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.

In its suit, marked SC/CV/775/2025, Osun had asked for ten reliefs, including declarations that the Attorney-General of the Federation must comply with lower court rulings affirming the legitimacy of democratically elected council officials following the 22 February 2025 elections.

The state also sought an order directing the FG to release all statutory allocations allegedly withheld, and a perpetual injunction restraining the Federal Government from diverting or suspending council funds.

Counsel for Osun State, Musibau Adetunbi, SAN, told the court that despite the pending case, the Attorney-General of the Federation allegedly directed the release of the disputed funds to sacked APC chairmen and councillors, adding that only a restraining order prevented the transfer.

The Federal Government, however, argued that the state had no valid claim and accused it of deliberately frustrating the former APC council officials, whose tenure expired in October.

FG’s counsel, Chief Akin Olujimi, SAN, maintained that the matter was not one the Supreme Court could entertain and accused the plaintiff of abusing judicial process.

After considering the submissions, the Supreme Court dismissed the suit for want of competence.
