iyb:God of Isreal. And they wonder why people look down on them. |
mukhtara446:Are you hausa? |
iyb:You must be a Muslim for you to make this type of statement. Muslim women have really suffered in the hands of the Muslim men. So a lady enroute to another town cannot lodge in a hotel when it gets dark? A lady travelling to attend job interview in a town where she doesn't know anybody cannot lodge in a hotel? |
Medical corpers run for your life from that state.
That's all. |
Bump |
TCD:That Ebonyi Physics graduate is only displaying his inferiority complex against medical doctors, don't mind him. He sees what is wrong but will never admit it because he is from Ebonyi. Don't let the rubbish he is typing get to you. |
TCD:Thank you and God bless you. I decided not to reply or quote him because I know he is talking out of ignorance. I am a doctor in a general hospital which is situated in an extremely rural area with no light or water and the nearest town is two hours away. Initially when I came here I witnessed the death of an advanced woman who sustained a fractured skull after falling from a height. The woman died, not because of the condition itself but because there was absence of suitable drugs to stabilize her so from that day I started buying the drugs to attend to emergency cases with my own money. And I have to travel to the nearest town regularly to do this. Every instrument I use in the hospital I buy them myself, from my sphyg to my diagnostic set and everything cost me more than 100,000 naira. Mind you I don't charge the patients for these things because they are very poor villagers and I can't abandon them or leave them to suffer because I have a conscience. Assuming that guy works in a medical field he would have understood all this but he has no idea what doctors in rural areas face. What he does instead is type insults and invectives because he feels I started this thread to insult his tribesmen. |
@ebsuguy, you are in ebonyi state so its even easy for you to check and confirm on your own. Ask doctors in batch B that have gotten paid. Ask them what they got. |
ebsuguy:Those in batch B have started receiving the reduced amount. I swear. With God as my witness. Doctors get 14,980 while nurses get 4,980. So far they have not even paid all of us. They only paid some. I saw the bank alert with my own eyes in my colleagues phone. He is a medical doctor in batch B and he is among the ones that have received state payment of 14,980. I spoke to a nurse in batch B as well and she confirmed that nurses in batch B are getting 4,980 naira. |
Ebsuguy please let's communicate here, I can't access my email right now. Thanks. |
duchessxino:Lies! Lies from the pit of hell!!! Am currently working in the same General hospital with a medical doctor from the same batch A and they were NOT paid 900k. That is a very big lie. You are not even in medical field and you don't work with doctors yet you open your mouth so confidently to say such big lies. |
Lol. Ebonyi is best to serve in South East? When Enugu and Anambra State are there? Ebonyi which is the least developed state in Nigeria is best to serve in South East? I cant laugh abeg. Medical corpers ignore the Ebonyi indigenes coming to this thread to cry because I am trying to help my colleagues. No human being deserves that kind of mediocre pay for twenty four hours work in an extremely rural area with Lassa fever and lack of clean water. Go to Delta or Anambra or Lagos or Abuja and get paid what you deserve for exposing yourself to diseases daily. |
Please ignore whatever duchess something something is saying. Am serving in Ebonyi and nobody was paid 900k allowance. New batch b medical corpers from last year November have been paid 14k as state alloweee. Make your personal investigation if you want to be sure. You work 24/7 in hospitals, they wake you at night to attend to patients only to receive 14k a month. |
kesinoivote:Ok stay there and face suffering if you don't know where you are supposed to run and go to. |
Redeploy immediately. The State is nothing to write home about and unless you are posted to the capital Abakaliki you will have to spend A LOT of money buying clean water and transporting yourself from place to place. The worst part of it is that there is LASSA fever in the state so your health is at major risk for interacting with sick patients daily. You also have to attend to them at nights too during your call duties. And guess what you get in return for serving 24/7 in the most underdeveloped state in Nigeria with scarcity of clean water, lack of infrastructure and daily risk for contacting LASSA fever? Guess what you get paid in return? 14000k a month which will not serve any purpose at all because of how costly things are in the state. Save yourselves. Run from Ebonyi State. |
All medical Doctors and medical personnels; RUN FROM EBONYI STATE!!! Don't make the mistake of choosing it during your registration unless you are prepared to work 24/7 plus call duty for only fifteen thousand naira a month. |
Leave him. You will surely find someone else, someone better. Just pray to God and widen your social circle. |
Uncleodi:Calm down. Times are hard in the country. You can't blame Nigerian youth for trying to get money while serving afterall they have no assurance of getting a job after NYSC. Besides Ebonyi government had the option of rejecting excess corpers if they didnt have the money to pay them, the corpers can be posted to other states instead. Rather, they keep employing corpers because many full time non corper doctors are running away from the state because of the rural nature of the place and their diarrhea causing water. Nobody is forcing them to accept every single medical corper that applies to serve in Ebonyi. If all states would agree to pay a flat rate say 82k as Delta does, there won't be madness to serve in Ebonyi. QED!Delta pays 82k to medical corpers? You must be having a laugh. |
murphyibiam15:by overhaul what exactly do you mean? |
murphyibiam15:Did he really pay December salary? What about all those medical corpers he has been owing for ages? Did he pay them too? |
Laredojohn:lalasticlala is just trying to pass his message across. |
mrphysics:So you have decided to resort to insults because you realized that you embarassed yourself by misinterpreting my post? Lmao ![]() Anyway since I was trained to always act like a civilized human being instead of throwing unnecessary slurs, I will not join you in posting insults. But any insult you post to me henceforth will go back and meet you and your family in triplefold, in Jesus name, amen. ![]() |
mrphysics:And Physics graduates will always remain poor and average whether they seek other means of survival or not. Where did I write about superiority of medicine over other professions? Can you read at all? You see how you have started exposing your inferiority complex in your posts because you are blinded by hatred. I never said any profession is inferior or superior, stop attributing your own negative opinions to my post. And I never said doctors should earn 130k while others earn 60k. This is what I said. If your hatred and bad wishes for others had not blinded you you would have been able to read and understand what I wrote. Let me write it again, try to calm your.I say it again; If you feel your profession should get the same thing as doctors then fight for it instead of wishing for the downfall of others. |
mrphysics:YOU PHYSICS STUDENTS ARE THE ONES THAT WILL ALWAYS REMAIN POOR, NOT DOCTORS, YOU BITTER ENEMY OF PROGRESS. If your hatred and bad wishes for others had not blinded you you would have been able to read and understand what I wrote. Let me write it again, try to calm your hatred and read to understand. Medical doctors expose themselves to potentially fatal diseases everyday at work, if they are not paid sufficiently then where are they supposed to get money to treat themselves if they accidentally get infected with the constant exposure? And the profession is demanding, you have to be available 24/7 for patients. You barely have time for yourself or your family. And whether you like it or not, the profession is very valuable and prestigious because it deals with life and life itself is valuable so the prestige of doctors has to reflect in their salaries. If you feel your profession should get the same thing as doctors then fight for it instead of wishing for the downfall of others. |
mrphysics:And let me reiterate for the millionth time, medical doctors expose themselves to potentially fatal conditions every single day and need to be renumerated accordingly. Any other profession that feels they deserve as much as doctors SHOULD FIGHT FOR IT, instead of hating or wishing doctors bad. I don't GIVE ANY SHÎT what you went through in university so save it. |
pek:Cos they do 10% of the work and take 10% of the risk medical doctors take. Do they have to perform appendectomy or ECCE or any life saving surgery on people with AIDS or LASSA fever? Do they sacrifice hours of sleep to attend to them 24/7 and do they expose themselves constantly to other deadly potentially fatal diseases EVERY SINGLE DAY at work? Why should they not receive 10%? Fûck off with that bullshît. If other professions think they deserve as much as medical doctors then they should state their reasons why and fight for years, decades infact, just like medical doctors fought for years to get to where they are today. |
The Ebonyi state government are bloody 419ers. Why didn't they slash it before so many people choose Ebonyi as their state of deployment? Crooks! What the FÜCK is any adult supposed to do with 15k a month? And I never knew other professions had so much animosity towards medical doctors. See how bad belle and looku looku enemies dem dey happy LOLZZZ ![]() Anyways you guys can rejoice all you want, medical profession still has more prestige than majority of others. And as for the Ebonyi state government una try. Watch and see if any intending medical corper will choose your backward underdeveloped state next time during registration. |
Please guys I need to know, is it true that there are only 2 states left? I haven't registered because I was sick for the past few days and last night I got information that there are two states left. is it true? is it even possible? how can they say people should choose where they will serve then exhaust the options less than one week after starting registration? it doesn't make sense to me at all. |

Xcozee:I meant changing it for this year's batch B. |
