Smart people don't make such comments, or what do you think ?
I called is moniker an irony of his real self. Dude wanted cheap likes and he ended up showcasing folly.

Tell me what I said wrongly that you don't like?

Somebody was there for him and I said he should replicate and you are not happy.

Nawaoo
Over and over, I'm been vindicated in calling your moniker an irony. It's not about what I LIKE, it's about what makes sense. and it's not about been happy, it's about value. I believe nairaland will have a button to edit moniker soonest, be sure to use it.

Brazino:
I hate topics like this cos I didn't enjoy my childhood because I didn't live with my parents. I was suffering in the hands of my uncle and his terrible wife. I wasn't even allowed to go to sch. Was always abused, insulted, emotionally and physically assaulted. Till date, I don't know what love is. I can't love, and I don't want anybody to show me love. Loving me seems like you're about to hurt me.

May God judge all those who suppressed my childhood and denied me love. Thank you for making me timid even as an adult. But no worries, I'm trying to overcome it
Ok. But you should talk to your uncle about this, I doubt any nairalander knows you or him.

TravelRe: Real Story: I Sold My Father’s Land To Japa, Now I Just Want To Come Back Home by Trymeee: 5:13pm On Jun 24, 2025
I had the chance to Japa 2023. I had a good job though not well paying but with a perfect future since I'm in the senior cadre and I also get incentives which is even more than my basic and allowances depending on my postings. All I needed was other multiple source of income. I spoke with a godfather who is a very senior officer and he advised me against it. He said it's better I just go on vacations and come back since I happen to be a (let's leave that side). I also spoke to a man I respect who works with MTN. He said his daughter had been in Canada since 2021 and he still sends money to her for her school fees etc. He advised I stay with the job as the future is so bright with and glorious.

2024, I went for course abroad, omoh I had to call my godfather to appreciate him for the advise he gave. Things Nigerians do to survive abroad are unimaginable. I've been to Pakistan, UK (Sandhurst) and US (Georgia). Nigerians will basically do things they dare not attempt abroad. I was just imagining with all this perks I enjoy in Nigeria, Na wetin I for dey do abroad be this? Japa isn't worth it if you have something doing in Nigeria.

goran3310:
Exactly those washed-up types, whose only "success" in life is grabbing power through corruption, are the reason everything is falling apart in Nigeria. He didn’t succeed at anything in life, and then in his late fifties, he managed to get a small piece of political power.
With what kind of life achievements did he even run for public office?

We don’t think on the same level.
To you, he’s a successful man.
To me, he’s a failure — a symbol of a failed country and society.

As for the original poster specifically:
He sold inherited land. That means he sold something he wasn’t capable of acquiring himself.
But he’s capable of selling and spending what someone else worked for.
What’s there to explain?
He’s the perfect example of a loser.

An apartment, a house, construction land, arable land, gold, silver, water sources — those are lasting assets.
Things that are passed down through generations so future generations can be wealthier and more successful.
He sold what he inherited for fiat currency — which has no real value.

On top of that, he's thinking about emigrating — to New Zealand, no less. That’s how five-year-old kids think.

Note:
A lasting asset, if sold, should be sold only to purchase another lasting asset.
You don’t sell farmland to buy a car.
But if you sell a car to buy farmland — now that’s the right move.
And you think you're making sense? Bro you can't run your definition on life on everyone around you. There is difference between true and truth. The fact that your opinions are true doesn't make it the truth. And who told you he can't start up life again even at 70? The question is who told you he isn't contended with the life he's living? Bro I wish you can go out and learn better that life is a personal race and all this things we acquire doesn't make us special. I got my first car at 20..... Never have I done scam and I'm not even on facebook. I realised that doesn't make me successful the day I saw a couple I know and I think less of buy a jincheng motorbike and they were jubilating like it's Lamborghini, it was the pinnacle of success to them. As a fact beautiful Nubia small people anthem comes to mind. Today I'm doing very well according to my definition but I'm far from been successfully as lots of unmarked plans and ambitions. In short, success is not quantifiable and you can't judge him the way he lives. Live and let live always remember that.

PS

about the politician, he went back to school for a degree at 41, got a job afterwards in government house, he met some bigwigs through that and started political things. He got federal appointments and decided to run for house of rep which he won. Note..... Within 10 years of proper plan and remodelling, he turned himself around. He got elected to HOR last election and he's in is late 50s.

I pity stupid men who give their all to women. A guy made you, rebranded you and even gave you his heart. Still you left him when stardom came. No wonder a dude opened thread about spending 30m to relocate his wife to UK and aunty wants a divorce already.

My 1cent, never work on a woman who isn't your relative. They can leave without giving heads up. And remember, your wife is your only family who is not your relative. Ire o.

goran3310:
He's dumb. He doesn't know anything about life.
Why are you throwing and dishing out abuses and insults to the op. That he doesn't conform to your idea of success doesn't make him a failure. I feel you're the bigger looser for not identifying the fact of time and season. Even the good Lord won't judge a man until his demise. I know of a current house of rep member who even till 42 is yet to get is footings together in life, he's in his late 50s now and a member of the house of rep. Most of his mate who got their footings earlier on are all duffing their hat and celebrating a man they once called failure like you did to the op.

You calling him looser in your previous post and dumb now says alot about your person. Tell me your age and what you've achieved, I will portray a younger person with better accomplishment then you can see how rubbished your definition of looser is.

HEAVEN4444:
the problem with being a puncher is you can only defeat mediocre opponents . When you meet real opponents who can box you will be destroyed . AJ is a very good boxer but someone has taken his spirit. I believe the person is that fat Mexican guy. That guy took his spirit. Some Mexican juju was used on that night. Those Mexicans have one of the strongest juju. That guy took AJs spirit on that night. And so AJ is a great boxer but his spirit is gone. A boxer without his spirit becomes mediocre. A good boxer is very well balanced and coordinated and has worked on every weakness. His left hand is equally as strong and fluid as his right hand and he has the vision to see all your moves before you make it, has great footwork and great coordinated handspeed . Think Floyd Mayweather sugar ray Leonard
The juju thing you insinuated just made my moutu ajar. I believe it's a comedy though. AJ wey no get good chin. Even Tyson only happen to be a good puncher of foreman let's not even go to Sonny Liston.
SportsRe: Seven Richest Nigerian Boxers Of All Time by Trymeee: 10:10am On Jun 23, 2025
AJ doesn't and never identified as a Nigerian. He only did I'm our emotions. Kamaru usman last Friday ght with Buckley showed him reppin Nigeria to the fullest. Nigerian entry music, hoisting the flag high, been introduced all the way from Benin nigeria..... Men I was proud of him.

Most of y'all don't even know Kamaru usman blood brother Mohammed Usman is also a UFC fighter.

Deontay wilder is not a good boxer. Just a puncher
But the power of his punch and precision made him stand out. What makes a good boxer to you though? And will you say AJ is a good boxer

ajagba can never supersede aj. Ajagba is a second tier boxer. He can't beat the top 5 guys. Sanchez beat him like his stole something and said Sanchez got destroyed by kabayel.
Ajagba is up and coming. He was in cruiserweight, just uped his game to heavy weight. With the proper team and coaching, I see a future Deontay wilder in him.

Samuel Peter that year........ klitschko brothers nearly kpai d guy
I wonder what you're saying. Dude obviously beat Wladimir Klitschko. Everyone was shocked when the results were announced. Typical nigerian mentality with the bring him down syndrome. Samuel was one of the hardest hitter of his time. He floor Klitschko 3 times during the bout but boxing and it's miracles. And here is a Nigerian who I believe never saw the fight or even saw Samuel Peter in action bringing him down with words. What a life.

The distance between Ist and 2nd is longer than Abuja-Kaduna express road.
Because the eras and box office are way apart. Also, the belt factor sets in. I believe Ajagba might supersede AJ in coming years as AJ already lived past his glory.

Gbenga oluokun Glory year was 2009 or so, AJ was still an Amateur then. Can you compare a 60s millionaire to 2000s?
