Shuku0kukobambi: True you're not wailing but your compatriots online and on the streets have been wailing uncontrollably. The annoying part is that their sole ambition has always been to see how they can sabotage Yoruba, Tinubu and even northerners without thinking of how they'll get there.
It's politicians that benefit from political office but the way they've remained fixated on an election that GEJ and the SS have moved on from makes you wonder what special thing GEJ did in that region.
How many Igbo benefited from Ekweremmadu's 12 years as DSP? One of the realest statements you have ever made. The igbos have not benefited having their people im power. We could have gottem a world class airport in enugu, eastem rail lines, good roads, if the igbos under the pdp had done their job. It is our hope that this sabatical from the seat of power would ensure that igbos reevaluate politics fully and develop the region when they get the chance again. You don't know what you have till it is gone, so that when it comes again, you would use it well. |

So why are yoruba still existing after 16 years of calamitous opposition?
This is just eight years of opposition and you think igbos should start crying.
A temporary situation for that matter
Its clear that some people can't handle relevance. They are better as opposition.
Goading the igbos, and when they respond, you would claim they hate you for no reason. |

Still needs all the experience she can get at this level though. I saw the interview she gave today and she looks so young. Her ceiling is very high. Could be better than precious dede. Tochukwu is also very good. |

what has the past igbos there done for the south east? They were all there for their stomach just like the current ones now representing other ethnics.
As for the apc, they should come and campaign in the east in 2023 with the same failed tactic of "we will do this, if the east vote for us", instead of doing it before asking for votes.
They will lose the south again in 2023. That is for sure.
And hopefully buhari will not able to paper the lose for the apc with northern votes. |

pansophist: It's not been smarter, its lack of honour, and its something you wont find in most women. Women are not hold up to the same standard society holds men in, they are used to being the beneficiary of men's trait such as being sacrificial, protected, provided for, preferenced, and honoured.
If a war breaks out today, it is the men that will be called to fight in it, not necessarily women. If a woman cowardly ran out of a burning building leaving her child behind, she will be protected and it is the men that will run in to save the child and quench the fire. If a man beats a woman, the public may descend on him but if the aggressor is a woman, they laugh the man as weak. See where I'm going with this? Society gives women privilege that men will never have, without making them feel responsible for it.
If the table was reversed, women will never excuse themselves for a man to withdraw before them, they will never be sacrificial or protect a man, and are more likely to look down on a man that treats them with honour, as they have an inclination to see those men as weak and find them repulsive. It's a slow progress, but with the help of social media, men are beginning to see clearly that their experience with women is in contradictory to how society have described them to be. Brilliant. |

Bizibi: let us be honest with ourselves, some Nigerians are making everyone look bad and everyone is getting fed up in Africa. It is to be expected when one in every five blacks on earth is a Nigerian. You would mathematically have more criminals compared to say Kenya or Zanzibar. The problem for me is why some Nigerians move to any of these African countries. If I am leaving Nigeria, it is not to any part of Africa. They are narrow minded people who are underdeveloped anyway. They have nothing to offer except you are a hustler. |

lilbest4: Women football is a joke It is not. There are so some very highly technical teams there. Unfortunately, the technical teams are not more than ten, so the gulf in class is huge which results in big scores. A US- Germany female game is as tantalizing and technical as a Germany -France men's game. They are at the same level. |

Politics › Re: It Doesn't Take Decades To Fight Corruption, Rwandan President Tells Buhari by TSRC: 8:46am On Jun 12, 2019 |
tactius: The problem with fighting corruption in Nigeria is that if someone says they should prosecute this person, the person's tribespeople and fellow religionists will make threats, subtle and overt...to the national peace....or will go on an allegation spree alleging that 'It's all selective'....and at the end of the day, no one gets prosecuted, everyone is happy, and the corruption continues.....and we continue suffering.
Sad. I don't think any tribe has stopped buhari from doing what he wants to do. He does not respect the opinion of anybody outside his circle. When he wanted to remove onnoghen for his selfish interest, he did not care what the edo people thought. He removed him anyway. So stop making useless argument. |
