A quick check on history of Badagry would have given you idea of the tribes and ethnics of people of Badagry, a further search into the traders of slaves from Badagry during slave trade would give you a better understanding.

Lagos that was created in 1967? Even Ikeja and other majorities weren't part of Lagos until it was created in 1967. That was when Ikeja and other parts were added. To tell you that federal government didn't even occupy half of a local government. Meanwhile, mention what the federal government did in Lagos.

Don't also forget the fact that Lagos seaport was built before the amalgamation of Nigeria. Built by Southwest resources.

As a matter of fact, the person who started the urbanism of Lagos was Awolowo who was overseeing Ikeja and several part of Lagos together with the western areas. Awolowo constructed over 300 roads in Lagos, built UNILAG, built first housing estates in Nigeria, schools and made several reforms, first TV in West Africa etc.

Then Jakande came in and built LASU, continued with the construction of roads and housing estates, built Lagos broadcasting media and pipe borne water.

Tinubu came in and improved Lagos revenue from millions to billions. Continued with LASU by building LASU clinical school and teaching hospital, built millennium schools, housing estates, roads, BRT, Lekki trade zone, LASTMA, Lekki seaport and made several reforms..


Federal government did nothing in Lagos apart from airport, roads and few government Houses.

To cap it all all the industrial estates were build by Western region government

Check record of votes from the SW in 2015 and tell us if that translates into voting a particular person. When vote is 60/40 that is said to be a balanced vote.

You should have asked yourself why Obi ran away from PDP where SE has greater chance of clinching their presidential ticket.

You should have asked yourself why delegates from your region voted Atiku instead of their son.

What you failed to know is that many Yoruba will vote a SE in PDP that has structure and a chance to win presidency rather than waste their vote on Obi in a party with no structure that amount to gifting the presidency to the north.

This question was informed by several claims of some nefarious elements that the campaign against Tinubu candidacy is because he’s Yoruba while the support for Peter Obi by most people from Eastern Nigeria is because he’s Igbo.

But is this true?

Reno Omokri and most others had to call us out for rejoicing when Ekweremadu was arrested in the UK. But if you wanna argue that we rejoiced over his arrest because he criticized Peter Obi, remember he was earlier beaten in Germany and the Igbos supported the beating.

Again in all of Okorocha’s travails, we have been his greatest mockers. Reason we didn’t blink an eye when EFCC broke into his home to arrest and he was trying to whip up sentiments by being dramatic online.

Similarly, when OUK declared for presidency, the Igbos didn’t blink an eye nor raise a strand of their hair.

Now, imagine either Okorocha or OUK emerged as APC and Osinbajo resigned from APC to contest in Labour Party like Obi is doing, who do you think most of Igbo people especially the youth will support?
