Shettima appointed a Christian Igbo into his cabinet.
4Southerner plus Kwara are all Chrustian. This was achieved in a Muslim dominated state of Borno.

Make SE dey fear God small small na.

These are the people that discrimate against same Igbo.

It is on record that Obi sack other Igbo from the civil service and never deem it fit to appoint non Igbo into his cabinet.

Lets compare Shettima and Obi on religion and ethnic ground

What most Southerners who are supporting APC's Muslim Muslim ticket because it favours them today should know that if it files, Arewa will flag off a Northern, Northern ticket in 2027. The south (most especially SE and SS) would be permanently sidelined from presidency in Nigeria.

Fighting against this abomination is something we must do at all cost. The division we see today between we Southerners was put by our leaders to ensure we don't focus on our true enemy.

Your enemy is not the man experiencing the same hardship as you. He's the one making sure you don't come out of it...of all the candidates contesting for presidency who amongst them has spent his time ensuring that you come out of your suffering?

2023 is going to be a very decisive year, and I would want Nigerians to shun religious and tribal sentiments and vote massively for Peter Obi. If he fails to deliver, you can vote him out after 4 years but it would be disastrous if we judge him without giving him a trial.
Make SE fly SE /SE the goal is to win election. Please stop the noise

VoteObi2023:
I pity those that put too much hope on SW voters. Nobody has ever won the South without winning the SE since the 4th republic.

In 2015, Tinubu and Osinbanjo won SW for Buhari with 500k votes.

The same year, Peter Obi (who collapsed APGA presidential structure for GEJ) won Anambra for GEJ with 640k votes.

In 2015, Anambra beat the whole SW with about 140k votes.

In 2019, Tinubu and Osinbanjo won the whole SW for Buhari with 260k votes.

The same year, Peter Obi won Anambra for Atiku with 491k votes.

In 2019, Anambra beat the entire SW with about 280k votes.

With Labour, APC and PDP (3 major parties instead of the usual 2) jostling for SW votes, Anambra will still knock off SW again.

SW voters has never been and will never been our threat. I registered in Lagos and I'll be voting for LP to water down SW votes.

Peter Obi stands head and shoulders higher than all other presidential candidates in Nigeria today.

1. He has a competent VP
2. He has an intimidating CV
3. He has an unblemished reputation
4. He has a sterling performance as an administrator
5. He had a very successful private business
6. He has a very peaceful family
7. He has the support of all the youths of Nigeria
8. He has the support of all the workers in Nigeria
9. He has the support of all the students in Nigeria
10. He has demonstrated his love and support of humanity, helping Nigerians from every part of Nigeria.
The only thing Obi has working for him is the his dead brain online aggressive and insultive miscreants that is pushing every PVC carrier away from him and Simon Ekpa that will ensure voters in Alaigbo who come out to vote gets maximum shishi

Please remove winners from that list. If you have not heard of Oyedepo's message encouraging his members to vote for someone from their faith, search for it. As for the others they will soon speak up. Most of them have spoken it's just that you have not heard. No pastor will like to give publicity to such statement. In my church when the pastor was about to make such statement he switched off the mic.

As for the OP you should be ashamed of yourself. The SW or the Yorubas have not in anyway supported Tinubu in any of the nonsense he is doing. He is totally on his own. I suspect you have a mission with this thread though
You didn't see through his failed attempt to ridicle the entire Yoruba race.

The truth is that the OP is selfish and clannish by proposing a Muslim from north and a Christian from South. The question to ask is what becomes of the Minority Christian north as Tinubu has broken the jinks of Minority Muslim from the South in future election

With his Muslim /Muslim ticket, the minority Christian north will rely on this precedence to chose from a majority Christian from the South in future election

Let's not be driven by emotion and selfishness of SE.

SE that is crying wolf have never consider a Muslim deputy governor in their states not to talk of Muslim governor.

The SW is almost 50-50 Christian and Muslim. I know you have never traveled to the east so let me tell you, there are almost no Igbo Muslims. We have more traditional worshipers than Muslims. Igbos are at least 95% Christians. I am almost certain that every Igbo you've met was a Christian. Meanwhile, 3 out of every 10 northerners are Christain. That is significant. We have entire Christain communities even in Borno. Now you see where you play your hand If he chooses a Muslim because he felt the Christians in the north are a minority. If he felt Northern Muslims would not vote for him if he chose a Christian, then why should Christians vote for him. With your own words, you have proved he is a bigot.
Again drop this toga of omniscience, you know nothing about me neither am I here to prove who I am. That's same irrational opinion that is prevalent among people from the East.

When we talked about religion intolerant SE is at the top. They should not put mouth in Tinubu's choice of VP.

This piece captioned it all

This diversity map is just a showcase of leadership state by state at zonal level.

I started to present the map at granular level, that is, showing religious representation at legislative level house of assembly by house assembly in each zone...but it is so lengthy I decided against that.

The legislative map presented a fact more shocking. Out of the six zones non inclusion is concentrated in SE, SS and NW but if I ranked them SE is worst in religious tolerance.

For instance, I found in NW they have Christians in their legislatures despite their Muslim majority. Similarly in SS, despite Christian majority they allow Muslim representation in State legislatures in the region. I give both regions kudos for that. Opposite is the case in SE, I could not find a single Muslim anywhere in legislatures across that zone. I tried finding a traditionalist, none either.

"SE is the most deficient in religious inclusion and tolerance in Nigeria. Your political journey is dead in this region if you don't practice Christianity. Yet, they are the loudest and infront of the pack demanding inclusion and tolerance from others."

I guessed as much you are another Tinubu supporter trying to explain his decision. At first, I thought you were trying to make a rational argument even though I did not agree. But now, I see you would insult others to justify your post.
Now let me guess, you are Yoruba and most likely Muslim.
Have you noticed that every single person supporting Tinubu on Nairaland is Yoruba? But Obi and Atiku enjoy support from all zones even from the SW. E get why. Most people outside the west see Tinubu as a religious and tribal bigot. It's hard to see people from other tribes supporting him. Watch this video to understand Obi's support among Christians in Lagos.

This is one major weakness of the people of the SE. You assumes your wish as a reality of the generality of the people. This has caused your region major setback in political front.

Rather than being calculative, diplomatic and strategic, you all replace it with threat, bravado, abuse and arrogance which makes others to manipute you.

Continue to guess my tribe, also keep on celebrating Obi"s national appeal. Election will show the real picture, until then keep your media victory to yourself
