How can anyone compare a leader that created multi-billion dollar investments like Eko-Atlantic and Free trade zone to a leader who's main selling point is bringing a brewery into the country and saving $75million ??
Thats what baffles me. Anambra stood in a position of attraction and a gateway to many states in SS and SE region. What has Obi done to harness that potential?

Obi is like a biblical foolish servant that buried his talent. Give Anambra to Akpabio, Fashola or David Umahi and see how they would give the state a new look

I don't care about tinubu, whether he will be a good president or not shouldn't be our concern, his age and health should be the major problem.

Atiku, the only thing his supporters presents is that his a unifier but subsidy, corruption, inflation, ASUU strikes don't care about unison. We need to grow this nation. We can't be uniting while every other thing is falling apart.

Obi is the only surest candidate. He's the embodiment of all that we need to cure this country of it's so many flaws. If we fail to get it right this time, we may never ever get it right.
Please tell us how Obi grew Anambra State. Don't tell me investment in Hero beer when there are better investment that would have boost the overall status of the state

If Ben Ben Bruce represents the ideal politician to be taken seriously, then I give up on you.

What advice has he given Bayelsa with small population and huge revenue that could put that state in a status of the most beautiful state in Nigeria?

How Tinubu Conceived The Lekki Free Trade Zone Idea Nearly 20 Years Ago
How Tinubu Conceived The Lekki Free Trade Zone Idea Nearly 20 Years Ago
The year was 2003. Lagos State Governor at the time, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu saw into the future and luckily, had the future sitting next to him. He conceived the idea of Free Trade Zone in Ibeju Lekki and told the future at the time.

Current Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was the future. When Tinubu birthed the idea of a Free Zone, it was in its infancy, and almost two decades since that day, that dream is on the verge of being realised.

“The idea around having a Free Zone in the Ibeju Lekki Area was conceived by our leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I was with him in 2003, 2004 when we took a trip to China & we were trying to conceive a Free Zone” Sanwo-Olu said at the Commissioning of the Dangote Fertiliser Plant.

How Tinubu Conceived The Lekki Free Trade Zone Idea Nearly 20 Years Ago
Tinubu after signing the agreement for Lekki Free Trade Zone in 2006

The Lekki Free Trade Zone in Ibeju-Lekki is also home to the largest single refinery in the world, owned by Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.

Tinubu, at the time was on his second term as Lagos State Governor and had an open clash of ideologies with Nigeria’s President at the time, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Obasanjo however hailed the idea and tagged it brilliant in 2006, when a contract establishing the Free Trade Zone was signed with the Chinese government. The final bidding and approval came in 2007. Obasanjo described Tinubu as a “brilliant governor with brilliant ideas” at the time.

How Tinubu Conceived The Lekki Free Trade Zone Idea Nearly 20 Years Ago
Obasanjo agreed with Tinubu on the conception of the Lekki Free Trade Zone

The 90 hectares of land about to be commissioned as Lekki Port was a part of the 220 hectares of land which Tinubu’s government set aside and issued Certificate of Occupancy for as the Lekki Free Trade Zone.

In what was the Lekki Master Plan many years ago, the Lekki Port and Airport were also conceived as constituent parts of the project.
My grouse with Obidients is elevating mediocres into the status of excellence.

Why didn't Obi construct 2nd Niger Bridge even if it's with PPP arrangement where it would be tolled and increase the IGR of the state since the congestion on the Niger Bridge would make building alternative bridge a good investment?

Secondly what blinds Obi eyes to see the potential of turning the waterside across Niger bridge to sight attraction. Few skycrapers well structured with business offices would have given the state a huge image boost and attract investment.

Seriously Obi is in the category of Yahaya Bello, Obi killed Anambra potential, there's no pancake that would turn a monster to mermaid

Obidients wish list now include "if Buhari decides to endorse Peter Obi"

I can't speak of other States but Lagos. Even in Lagos, my axis is where I concentrate on. You also know that what attracts them there is the presence of the Alaba International Market and the Trade Fair Complex which is heavily Igbo-dominated.

The Ojo/Amuwo area is a thickly non-indigenous populated area of the State. The problem they have as in other years is, they don't come out to vote. They threaten every election cycle and back down save for 2015, yet PDP wins the LGA, now the PDP Candidate is even from that LGA.

The only chance APC has there is if PDP slashes votes with LP. Other LGAs, I cannot beat my chest to say.

Others 55%?

Let's assume population of Lagos is 20m

Yoruba 9m
Non Yoruba 11m
Apart from being ridiculous it is grossly insulting and Yoruba and Lagosians deserves unreserved apology.

Now tell me what's the population of.

Indigene and Yoruba from other SW?

Let me break it down for you.

Awori occupied Ojo, Amuwo odofin, part of Badagry, Alimosho, Ikeja Kosofe, Oshodi, Ifako Ijaiye, Mushin. Most parts of Island and Mainland

Ijebu - Shomolu, Ikorodu, IbejuLekki Kosofe and parts of Mainland

Egun occupied, parts of Badagry, Ojo, EtiOsa, Ikorodu.

The population of the indigene cannot be less than 10m

Then other Yoruba from other SW majorly Ogun, Oyo and other SW is above 7m

You can share the remaining 3m among other Nigerian.

Like someone rightly said, there is verifiable data to show population of other ethnic group in Lagos State.

Where you find concentration of non Yoruba are not more than 5 local government and their best in those areas can't be more than 30%.

Where is your ridiculous 55% non Yoruba coming from?

Lagos is so by virtue of being Nigerian capital for 77yrs. If not, the development would have been replicated in other SW states.

It's also a shame to compare Lagos to other states esp when her economy is the 6th largest in Africa! Compare to Cairo, Casablanca etc

Lagos made Tinubu, not the other way round!
Stop being clever by half. At what point did economy of Lagos became sixth in the Africa? Was is not during same period when Tinubu governed.?

Can you give us economic status of Anambra among Nigeria states during Peter Obi's tenure?

Nobody is saying Lagos is not deficient in Infrastructures like any other states in Nigeria, but the point remain Lagos took the initiative to drive it's economy towards self sufficient, but other states do not see any reason for that hence the pressure of influx immigrants into the state.

Lagos was on the track of self sufficient which was backed up with policies that were outrightly rejected by Federal government in conjunction with PDP states government

Development plan indeed. Since 1999? That's 24 years!

Let me ask again, which development plan?
It was indeed a 60years development plan.

In 1999 no state of the federation can survive without federal government allocation, today Lagos State and probably Rivers are only state that can survive without allocation.

Lagos State ceased to be a federal capital over 20 years ago yet it's population is increasing more than Abuja the Federal capital.
Lagos State despite its huge population is the only state with least terrorist act in the whole country this is due to her conciosness on security

This is a state that was able to solve complex problem like ocean surge that gave birth to Eko Atlantic.

Do you know the number of employment 37 LCDA were able create for the teaming youth?

Bayelsa, Delta State and Rivers, Akwa Ibom are rich states but don't attract such population that troops into Lagos every day.

There are working development plan that making all these possible.

Your point not valid enough! Convince me if you can. Obi was tested and he successfully made Anambra the envy of other states.

I just will not vote for Obi.
Better as how?

Seriously there's something wrong somewhere. The other day Obi was saying on national TV that he equiped all schools in Anambra with computer and internet facilities and there was no rebuttal from Anambran people when it was a blatant lie.

Again he responded that the guy that stepped on Nigeria flag was not his son. These were incredible lie that a rational Nigerians outside SE would not overlook even if they buy the lie of him equipping all schools with computer when that was not the case.

Peter Obi is taking his unfounded lies too far, lies that SE would swallow won't be taken by other Nigerians lightly. Obi has lost many of his admirers on the account of his many lies that's is not necessary.

He should learn to remain silent or outrightly refuse to comment on some issues rather than responding to questions with lies that can be debunked

Oga, which one be political achievement again?

Okay, you mean ....... "I made him governor", without me he would not have been president", "He is my boy and he knows it"

Truth is, Obi is steps ahead of others when it comes to accountability and good governance.

Leaving over $60 billion for the government without owing workers is something unprecedented.
With such amount, the next governor was able to built an airport and continue with other projects.

On top of that, he left the position and allowed the next governor to do his work without any interference. That is the measure of a true leader.

Meanwhile, one other governor has been busy imposing himself everywhere as the all-important almighty.
How a former governor of a state became a trillionnaire is something that should be studied in school.
Am sure you are not well versed in what governance is actually about. Lagos State has a development plan which was design during Tinubu tenure and every subsequent governor have been implementing, this is what distinguish Lagos from other hence requires the leadership of the state at every time should be the one that would not derail

These are primary responsibility of a governor of a state and as bad as Nigeria governors are, a handful of them were able to achieve similar feat.

Undoubtedly, many who live in Anambra during Obi's era may think he performed well because Nigeria was just coming out of military rule and with brief rule of Chris Ngige, there was not comparative barometer to actually measure his performance.

It is pathetic to now reduce governance to salary payment and providing basic services rather governance should be adjudge as good or bad based on innovation, pragmatism, daring, problem solving, policy making and institution establishment.

In all these Tinubu stands above other in the following

Infrastructure
Policy enactment
Establishment of Institutions
Creative ideas and Innovation
State economic growth.

I lived in Lagos and Anambra during the era of Tinubu and Obi so I have first hand knowledge of governance of both men.

Many Igbo in Lagos and SW will equally vote Tinubu. They would realised the hospitality of Yoruba people, thier purchasing power in patronising their products, their relatively peaceful environment that supports business unlike sit at home and UGM making lives terrible in the SE.

Definitely, they would vote Nazi Ugochukwu Nnamdi Bola Ahmed
