You are such a useless mofo and very hateful individual that takes politics to the extreme. I know you are from the south but common sense has elude you.

Why will I be this hateful to Igbo or Ijaw when I daily interact with them and we have lived together peacefully despite the online banter we just come online to do at spare times to while away time.

You are such a disgrace to the South, for taking side with an slowpoke with no rational mind to project his candidate without sounding hateful.

I hope other Southerners will caution you on this dangerous path you are embarking on.

Be warned, when shit hit the ceiling we would all be affected.

cool

1; Musa Yar'Adua
2; Olusegun Obasanjo
3: Sani Abacha
4; Murtala Muhammed

1: Musa Yar'Adua ended Kidnapping and insecurity in the Niger Delta and this gave Nigeria alot of petrol dollars, he also brought down cost of feul which reduced inflation

2: Olusegun Obasanjo came in when Nigeria was just coming out of so many international sanctions, Nigeria was battling on many front, he traveled around the world to beg for debt relief, and still left Office with good foreign reserves, during military era he built refinery and also had operations feed the nation

3: Gen Sani Abacha... I hate him for betraying MKO and Tinubu on his promise to return power to democracy after the coup

A man who came in after IBB caused so much damage United States had placed embargo on our oil, we had economic sanction flying in from all countries just as Russia today

Since Oil was our main resources and money earner and nobody would buy from Nigeria..

Abacha organised some Foreign Offshore Account around the world, he then arranged some business men accross Nigeria as Oligarchs and front, and the successfully traded oil in the black market and paid into Abacha Offshore Account which Abacha then used to run his government successfully

Sanction didn't stop Nigeria instead local production started, with no rice we had white maize, no CNN we had AIT and NTA, no foriengn cloths we made our own big ugly Coat, we had lolly as our drinks and Kunu or Zobo, no gas or Kerosine we used locally refined Kerosine and charcoal , sawdust, firewood

We made local ak47 variants and pistols and fought ecomog wars and won

.
A pig will always remain a pig no matter how you try to dress him. It is ironic that Nigerians have been hypnotized to the extent that the citizen defend leaders that oppressed them.

I never expected adult at least that have read about the atrocity and corruption under Abacha and still claim he is one of the best president of Nigeria.

Claiming that Abacha ran the country through black market sales of oil using fronts is the most ridiculous complement

Now you need to answer what was the cause of the sanction against Nigeria?

Was it not Abacha high handedness in that led to the sanction?

Was it not Abacha government that made bunkering an official business in collusion with the security agents up till today?

What about money laundering that has become a mainstay where our common wealth ended up in the foreign land?

Should we talk about state sponsored killings and terrorism during Abacha regime.

Please come off that careless talk, abeg

You run a government the way you run a company. Every company saves for rainy day.

While I don't hold brief for Peter Obi, we have learned here that he saved much of the money in foreign currency.

Peter Obi, from my findings, invested so much in education, health, infrastructure and every area of human endeavour. Therefore, saving for rainy day is logical because nobody knows what tomorrow holds.

Even you as a human being, if you don't have savings, you are in trouble. If Jonathan was sensible enough to save money for the country in the time of plenty, do you think that Buhari would go about begging China to fund every project he executed?

We are told that Obiano used part of Peter Obi's savings to build an airport and emptied their account while leaving. Now, Soludo is starting by borrowing $100m because his predecessor left him with lots of debts and escaped to the United States. If that's not wickedness, what is?

So, in conclusion, there's nothing wrong in saving because if you save money, money will save you.

PS: I sincerely hope you want to learn, not that you are trying to justify your decision to vote for an old criminal. If the latter is your case, don't expect another reply from me.
This is the type things that makes people term Obi and his Obidients liar.

There are reports by Obiano that Obi left debt for the state, equally the APGA state chairman equally quoted a figure as debt left by Obi.

Obi claimed to be a Harvard graduate( though many of us know it's 2hour online course that award certificate) supposed to deploy his Harvard economic knowledge to utilise merge resources at his disposal.

I don't expect you to reduce this discussion to the level of 2X2 shops that many of Obidients are known for.

A business man doesn't save money when there's need for expansion as the company value would make him credit worthy if the company is well managed. The issue of looking for money to spend should not be a problem of Obi a Harvard graduate rather his concern should have been how to put up critical infrastructures that would increase his ability to generate money through IGR or loan.

What informed Obi to have saved in times of spending and why is Soludo now borrowing when he should be consolidating?

I was in Anambra during Obi's first tenure and I can tell you Obi didn't bring out any innovation into his leadership, he is as worthless as many governors that abound in Nigeria, it amazes me how some sections are now painting him like an angel when there is clear evidence that he didn't perform above average.

I am sure other parties are collating their records on Obi's performance as governor and all these packagings you guys are giving Obi will fall like a pack of cards when the campaign started

I thought that the more people visit Nairaland politics section, the more reasonable they would become.
Then what's the point of his audio savings when he doesn't have enough to spend.

You are the one not making sense.

What's the need of saving when he should have known the value of Naira would depreciate further looking at the trend of naira fall since 1999?

This writer really know you guys well, hence the disclaimer.

Peter Obi floored both Fashola and Tinubu in terms of real tangible human development. A poor country like Nigeria do not need wasteful poor managers of reaources who do not understand their priorities.

In 2023 Nigerians are yearning for a president that would increase their life expectancy, improve their education, increase their income, improve their human development index. We know the candidate that have done this in the past.
In all sincerity can you give us the data of ndi Anambrians that relocate to Lagos state within that period, check their worth, health status, education and general well being at the time they left Anambra to how they fare in Lagos.

People's standard of leaving is the real measurement of development stop dishing out useless data where there is no empirical analysis to test the genuineness of the research work

I did not write the globally accepted standard measurement of development. There is standard for these things. The world do not operate the agbado standard of quasi economics where how much you steal from the people is used to blindfold the gullible as growth.

Development is measured in terms of human impact. Eg. Peter Obi met Anambra when the average age people can live is 53 years. By the time he left office he increased it to 58 years. Now that is how it works. He didn't to tax ndi Anambra to death to increase their life expectancy.

With low Igr, Peter Obi gave his people a better life expectancy than Tinubu and Fashola put together.
Did the data calculate the number of dead people that were returned from Lagos to Anambra for burial within that period.

The fact remains your data is a bullshit if it does not capture the numbers of people that ran away from Anambra to Lagos within the time frame

So comparing Lagos with Anambra in terms of the globally accepted developmental indicators is an INSULT to Anambra state & the leadership of Peter Obi.

As if that were not enough, let's look at the departing gift Peter Obi presented to Anambra state & BAT to Lagos state

To proof that his education at Harvard Business School, Kellog School of Management, Oxford & Cambridge weren't just for fun, PO in his handover note left local & foreign investment savings in billions of Naira & cash savings for the state as can be seen & verified.

No other Governor since inception of democracy can tie Obi's shoes in terms of delivering real development to his people.
Oga Ade removes the numbers of Anambra people and others from the East that fled that region to seek refuge and greener pasture in Lagos from your data. Invariably when you remove the influx of people with no economic value to the state within the time frame you'll discover that Obi should be taken to the village square and given 120 strokes of cane

It is only a dunce that will pick someone who cannot solve erosion issue for 8years over someone who did not only solve sea surge problem but turned the problem into a multibillion investment for his state.

When you ask them to compare infrastructures in Anambra and Lagos the would claim Lagos is former capital and Anambra is poorer compared to Lagos.
How can someone who can not add value to a poor state add value to a country that is already poor.

Nigeria doesn't need trial by error, Nigeria need tested and trusted leader in the person of Asiwaju Jagaban
