Dsalvo:
Correct talk . Senator Hanga made that precise point when he left APC last year with the parting shot that the Party had lost it's way and treating founding members unfairly.

Important to note that Hanga was a long term ally of Buhari from CPC but was firmly behind Tinubu, and even spoke up for BAT vocally, when he left APC.

Many Northerners do not endorse what Buhari and a few are doing in their name because they appreciate the long term damage that can be caused to North-SW political relationship.

You see, it is better to just keep quiet at times and allow political juveniles explore their hobby. The real players know what is up especially with the way Buhari treated Asiwaju just because this man stands out among his contemporaries.

If APC lose and PDP win, what happens to CPC faction that the rallying factor is the outgoing Buhari.?

What does it cost Tinubu and SW that would still remain a strong and indivisible region with higher chances of separation that would amount to a suicide for the north?

This is what would determine the outcome of APC primary and not any baby analysis the emotional drunkards are dishing out

Obasanjo did not erect one for himself but he felt their power through Atiku. Infact Obj was a beneficiary of the cabal. Did u forget how Obj became candidate in PDP? grin
Stop contradicting yourself, we were familiar with Kaduna mafia in 1999 and not cabal.

Obj became candidate because your mafia saw the imminent collapse of Nigeria as Nigeria lost her reputation in international community as a result of stiff opposition from the NADECO group championed by the south.

Just flashed your mind back to the type of nationwide strike and protest back then. If such repeat itself now, Nigeria would not last one year

Your Excellency, Arewa has patriotism to three ideologies.

1. Patriotism to Islam. They love Islam more than they love God. They are religionists, not worshippers.

2. Patriotism to traditional throne. This is their culture, tradition, ritual and history.

3. Patriotism to the territory of Nigeria. They do not love Nigeria. They regard it as a parcel of land given to them as reward in service and faithfullness to Islam. Similar to how Jews regard the parcel of land called Israel as a reward of their faith.

You will never ever hear a person from sharia North say they love Nigeria. They will shout One Nigeria, long live Nigeria, or something similar but never will they say they love Nigeria. If Tinubu reward you a million naira for working on campaign will you love the money? No. You will possess it, not love it. This is how sharia North see Nigeria, a possession, not something to love. Southerners on other hand may love Nigeria for whatever reason.

Tinubu has demonstrated, with results, multiple times, that he is capable of competing for ownership of this territorial reward. He is therefore a threat to the Hausa/Fulani monopoly of power in Nigeria. He wants the same thing they want +more. He is a master strategist known for displacing power. grin
You have some points here but replacing north with Arewa is being cunning. Arewa is not the same as the north just a section in the north

Cabal is Kaduna mafia reformed. Under military they were cloaked as mafia, under civilian they are called cabal. They serve same purpose GAC does in Lagos, a go-between crossing, or bridge between statutory govt and a non-statutory lobbyists.
Ogbeni go and research on how cabal entered our political lexicon and stop ascribing undue honour to who doesn't deserve one. The proponent of cabal are same southern journalist like yourself who create imaginary monster out of some few clique.

Where were the cabal during Obasanjo? Buhari was just nepotic and surrounded himself with selfish people who exploit his weakness at the expense of the country.

The time is tickling fast and it's dawn on them that South would no longer be liberal with power hence the dying minutes permutation of mediocre playing within APC
Politics › Re: Asiwaju Tinubu, APC Chieftain & Abdullahi Adamu, APC Chairman by Ttalk: 4:28pm On May 11, 2022
LegendHero:
You are correct with your analogy.

@the bolded, the North did not turn away from Tinubu, it is just some groups within the cabal trying to also play their own game which is fine. In politics, that is expected.

Obasanjo did same thing, nearly all governors try to do same thing every election cycle, it’s normal.

But ije ta je tete, a o le je dagunro. Asiwaju/SW has stakes in APC such that if he pulls away his structure, it will automatically turn to minority party.

So one thing is very different about this scenario. Even if the cabals don’t want Asiwaju and want to play consensus game, then APC only have one optimal solution to this, give the ticket to Osinbajo if the said cabals are afraid of Asiwaju influence as president. Failure to do this, APC is bye bye.

Everybody is planning for after-Buhari, it is now left for the players to protect their political future or forfeit all just because of some few cabals.

Time will tell, let’s wait till the primaries.
This is succinct. I have always asked who lose at the end of the day.
ACN faction will still retain it hold in the SW. But what happen to the cabal when PDP sweeps the north?

The cabal scheme is a fight of a drowning man. You can't reject Tinubu and still deny Osinbajo. It simply impossible in the present polity of APC

I think it will do Nigeria good to work assiduously for separation from such tribe, so that Nigeria can be free from such problems. Or what does it profit Nigeria to have her image sullied by any group?

Or is Nigeria generally even more desperate than the people they claim are desperate i.e. kettle calling pot black?

The north with their no's ll incure the wrath of the southwest and that ll create their destruction politically irrespective of their nos.
I don't give a damn about the north.
Their manipulation is annoying. And they must stop. Very rude & vagabond set of people.
My sister, there is no any North in the north. It's just a stereotype and foolish inferiority complex taken too far by Southerners especially some gullibles from SE.

North is made up of so many tribes and the unifying factor in terms of religion is no longer there, no thanks to BH and Bandit.

If some few miscreants from the north is scheming and being manipulative doesn't mean it's the agreement of entire north. The main problems are some useless southerners that have sold their destiny to their Fulani master and are not man enough to demand for what they deserve instead of their bigotry and jealousy of region that is taking it's stand in Nigeria political turf

Tinubu, Ameachi, Osinbajo, Rochas I can understand but this Emefiele and GEJ part is a little confusing.
Then there is the Senate president.

The whole game has become really confusing.
The game is to deflate the stronghold of PDP by buying their rallying personality in the person of GEJ in order to increase APC chances in SS and SE.

They are always holding at every straw hoping and wishing SW is disgraced but can't see it's just a game to confuse PDP and the target is to water down the strength of PDP in SS and in SE.

Let wait and see unfolding events in the coming days.

Politics › Re: Who Are Real The Enemy And Tribalistic Between The Igbo, Hausa And Yoruba? by Ttalk:
Being tribalistic is an individual thing and shouldn't be tag on any tribe.

However there are tribalism that is borne out of love for persons tribe which is inherent in every African man.
The opposite of this type of tribalism is when you harbour hatred for other with no just cause.

For example all those IPOB abusing Tinubu who has noting to do with their region are being tribalistic. When you do not promote your candidate but focus in running other candidates who is not your tribesman down is a chronic symptom of tribalism.

Lastly all those dick measuring individual on every social platforms are tribalistic.
