PoliticsRe: Where Is This Buhari Fever Coming From? by tuagbo:
maclatunji:
Every where you turn, it is Buhari this, Buhari that.

Going by Nigerian politics of "stomach infrastructure", it is obvious that Buhari cannot buy the hearts of people.

So where is the fervent support coming from?
Nigerians are sick and tired of Goodluck Jonathan and his PDP goons.Their cups are full and they've had their chance(which they achieved nothing with). Its time for a change and many Nigerians believe Buhari is that change. If next years presidential elections aren't rigged as usual,I see Buhari achieving a landslide victory over Jonathan. If you desire a better standard of living, security and a thorough tackling of corruption in Nigeria, vote Buhari but if you want to experience the "ridiculousness" of the past four years of Goodlucks' regime, vote Jonathan. It is time for the tomfoolery in the Nigerian polity to end.

Dude if you call that a rap album from an aclaimed africa's rapper number1 then i can say that you know nothing about rap.The album's headers was brilliant but how would brilliant headers and generic bars tranform to being a good rapper?

Not forgetting that he featured other artiste in almost all the track.MI has lost his x-factor,admit it.
"M.I" lost his "x-factor" after his "Talk About It" album(which I consider a classic) when he became successful and stopped being hungry. This his "Chairman" album is over-produced and overbloated with too many featured artistes."M.I" has nothing to rap about anymore. He should either retire from the game or wholly face the business side of the industry.

Very deadly!!

Some people will actually go for spiritual healing rather than see a doctor for their mental illness.
Not only ignoring medical personnel for treating mental illnesses even physical illnesses and emergencies too.A few years ago,a teenager on my street got electrocuted.Instead of rushing him to the hospital, his mother preferred to call their pastor for prayers to "heal" him.For two whole hours the young lad fought for his life while waiting for the pastor to arrive."Daddy" finally arrived prayed, got confused and decided to "package" the fellow to the hospital.Three hours later,he passed away.Guess who the family and pastor blamed for his death?"The Devil".Nigeria is in big trouble.

That's why our streets are filled with crazy people all around. . .they will see a hungry naked mad woman walking on the road and quickly conclude that she is a bird that turned into a human being. .instead of helping her out they will begin to beat her up and kill her all because they reason like Ishilove. . .
Only that scenario? What about the ones who label little children witches and wizards and blame them for their misfortunes?Nigeria is in big trouble.

Even if he doesn't live in Nigeria,I believe he has watched programs aired in crime and investigation where ordinary Americans tell their encounters with ghosts, paranormal activities and haunted houses.
is he more of an American than they are?

The truth is there are things that happens to people that defies science and common sense and for the fact that you've not experienced it doesn't make it a stewpid thing.
it is real ,just wait until you find yourself in their shoes.

Your mum is from a family, isn't she? Don't you have uncles, aunts, grandparents who can shed light?

What these idols do is they share out demons to attach themselves to certain members of a family. There is always a convenant attached to these things. When praying, include any known and unknown covenants entered into on your behalf before you were born.

These covenants can be destroyed in the name of Jesus. I asked you to try to investigate because it will make it easier to know where to focus your efforts on.

As for the spirit children, denounce them o!! Set them and their mama ablaze! Useless powers angry

But he was doing the very same thing to others. Macky2 was just trying to show him, he wont like it if what he was doing before be done to him. Simple, why do you fail to understand where all this comes from. He is the one who started drumming in the bedroom while others were sleeping.
Has Tayo ever beat his drum close to anyones ear while they were asleep? Why are the housemates only concerned about the sound from Tayos drum?Don't their guitars also disturb others? You are a silly xenophobe. You and your countrymen and women are pathetic

He should have chilled and talked to marky2 nicely that he does not like what he is doing. Just as Goitse talked to him nicely to stop drumming, but he ignored them and continued drumming, Goitse, Sipe and marky2 were sleeping. I think thats what got Marky2 angry. Then revenge was coming his way, then he could not handle the revenge.

However, The Wire, is more relevant in the society today than Oz, which was more of a prison pilot. And most people will never go to prison - so relating to the story directly is kind of tough.

But with The Wire, that's the society right there for you. And it actually goes deeper by showing folks what happens in those inner cities most are scared to go to. The drugs, gangs, crime, violence, gangsters, dealers and the hierarchy, the connect, the corrupt police and politicians, the drug fiends, stick-up kids, the messed up school system etc.. That's real life on your TV screen.
It feels really good to finally come across another die-hard fan of "The Wire."Its an absolutely stunning masterpiece...one of a kind...there will never ever be anything like "The wire" ever again.

Unnecessary, how? You don't have to read the things I do, so you don't know. You think because I wasn't born in Nigeria, I don't I identify? LOL. Check my profile and see how much time I spend in this site. Perhaps I should have clarified. "You people" = Nairalanders. Not Nigerians.
"Unnecessary" because this thread is supposed to be about the celebration of "our owns'" achievement not for moaners(which was how you came across in your first post). This is the first time I've come across your username so I have no idea if you were born in Nigeria or were raised outside the country. All I could make out from your first post was, you're a "diasporan."I've just checked your profile...incredibly uninspiring...what?!...Another Mother Theresa wannabe?Boring!!!...Yes,"you people" should have been clarified...some of us only attended night school

TravelRe: Colombia Places Travel Ban On Nigeria, 4 Other African Nations because of Ebola by tuagbo: 3:44pm On Oct 17, 2014
byrron:
My bro, no amount of media noise from FGN can change the bias and disdain of the western world towards Africa in general.

Nigeria, Liberia and senegal are always mentioned on a daily bases by all the western media eachtime the word Ebola is mentioned.

Other countries act upon informations they heard from all these western media's and their ambassadors in Nigeria, these are the people they believe and not what the FGN or local media's in Nigeria says nor writes.
Exactly!!!I'm always amused whenever they say a travel ban should be carried out on flights from West Africa because they ignorantly believe its only Black West Africans who travel to the US and not their precious white citizens who work and even reside in the region
