yes, heard its terrible when it spills. I mix mine outside the pen, thats safer IMO. Also, for anticocci, I use embazine forte...seems reliable, I dont know prococ so cant say.

No shooping malls and cinemas, but lot of hotels and joints where peeps can hang out. Also has tourist and heritage centres.

I live in osogbo, it is a cool place, peaceful and cheap. Stable power supply. A lil boring tho.

1. a mature seed cost N150-N200(200 by 20000=400k)
A- transportation to. Ur farm depending on the distance=30-50k
B- land clearing and preparation/Labour=100-150k
C- planting is done for N25 per tree=25 by 2000=50k
D- a budget of 100-200k wil do for the first year regarding weeding, fertilizer and general mentainance of the farm.


2- if u ar sprouting like I did. A kernel cost N30-N50(50 by 2000=100k)
A- sand= 20k
B- bags (a bag cost N15)
C- labour to sandbag=20-30k

Note: in option 2, u will ve to nurse for a year b4 taking ur palm to the farm. Provision must made for watering twice daily.
These are just rough estimate

tuk2ato. The cages you read about on AmoBygn website are for those engaged in highly intensive practices and are often the very big farms with pullets in tens, if not hundreds of thousands. For those with several hundreds to a few thousand, the standard is to raise on the litter for between 12 & 14 weeks before being moved into cages. 9jazeal. Please, don't allow all the agents deceive you. Virtually all the hatcheries produce pullets DOCs along with cockerels & broilers. And as an aside, the "fragile" DOCs you got earlier may not really be from Zartech or they could be those discarded during"sorting", but smuggled out & sold. Get online & obtain the direct contact details of the hatcheries. Success

You dont necessarily need grower for broilers. Its meant for pullets. The best way for broilers is to start with prestarter, switch to starter after a week or tops 2 and finish with finisher from 4 weeks old.

Thank you for your response, i am considering 7 weeks. Are you saying i dont need to feed them growers? Which combination gives optimum weight starter, grower and finisher or starter and finisher or starter and finisher?

It depends on how many weeks you intend rearing them for, however if its for 8 weeks, starter is for the first 4 weeks while finisher is for the last 4 weeks.
