I’m in canny myself.its only worrisome since I read through how easy it gets when you have a valid USA visa..I’m only asking if people with experience can enlighten on what to do if there’s a seeming delay despite having the USA visa..during the application,not much document was asked on the status bar except the USA visa,marriage certificate.it was only the wives application that required many documents such as work,bank accounts and the likes.Thanks.

Hello house,Please, a family friend applied for a visit visa .The husband being the main applicant has a valid USA visa while the wife has no visa. I was hoping with the Husband visa,they’ll get a response faster but it’s been a month now with no response..the visa is being processed at the Kenya visa office after the notification email was sent when the husband send some additional documents via web form..do you think the husband should write to inquire about the application as it’s strange getting such delays from them with the us visa in place since I read on this platform how people are able to get their visit visa very fast if they have a valid us visa. The status bar keeps showing process at the background check session.

I,my wife and son applied for the B1/B2 VISA and have been denied twice.my wife got pregnant after we made the second application and we planned to state to the vo clearly if there is any question about the pregnancy.my question is that is it possible that my wife alone applies for the birthing visa because she is due late Jan
She will be applying alone and we have started contacting doctors.
What are the chances please house .

Hi everyone,well I am a man who in no way know anyone on tjisnthread or familiar with anyone and I am.not trying to support @jewelstone but in all honesty I don't think her response to the question at first was rude,I actually found it rude with the way the poster @weldonextreme asked,read between the lines very we'll,you will find out he never asked for a favor,he asked authoritatively and we all in one way or the other deserve some little respect especially when a favored is about to be given,think of it she even said she wouldn't mind accommodating a young female which shows how kind she might be,We all have a way of reacting to issues,we all have our level of tolerance and patience,let's not start jumping into crazy conclusions about people and talking about marriage when all she's done is to be of help on this thread.kudos to weldonextreme for being a man but we should stop coming for jewelstone and just let peace reign.we all will get to our destinations safe and sound and we shall be achievers.Happy Sunday Everyone and goodluck to all grants expectant especially Mr Jegz1.

Thank you for your encouragement,I was asking because I saw jegz1 who applied around mid April and has gotten no response yet till now as he/She said today.i believe DIBP should work on the time they posted on their website and also try to consider resumption dates for students.if they will either grant or not it should be known as they are professionals and no amount of applications should hinder them from giving an accurate attention to applicants. Just my own opinion and maybe a complain could be made about this.the services is being paid for and also tuition is being paid so proper regard should be given to applications.ive studied the Way they've been neglecting apps and it's not encouraging .@sanity100 what's your take on this sir.

Thing is, we kinda believe that the High Commission at Pretoria has a lot of applications they are working on, especially as that Pretoria office handles applications (students visa and other visa classes) from most countries in Africa. So don't be deterred. As you have rightly read in this thread, the key thing is applying to the school early, ensuring that all documents are in order and not faked, and applying for the visa early enough. If all your docs are fine and you apply in Feb/Mar to resume July, I see no reason why you won't get the visa by May/June.

@KVickky @jegz1 .what could be the reason for this excessive amount in delay and please to other gurus in the house,what could be the reason. I've been following this thread as im about to apply to a sch I Aussie but waiting on my transcript and ut seems they process apps differently because some people applied after them and got the visa already. Is there no way to reach out to Australia high commission in Aussie itself on this issue since it's a student visa and resumption is closeby.

Additional information 26th April again on the 30th June and yeah I've contacted them by calling it's always they're aware of resumption date, still no decision has been reached.
N.b: all additional information asked were documents I submitted from the get go tho I sent them again when asked.

I honestly do Not support what he did but some attendants can be more than annoying especially those bank workers.ive had a fair share of such experience but there are better ways to handle them in case one come across such people.let me share a little story of mine i can remember well.
Few years back,i went to the bank close to a market area to make a withdrawal of about 100k to buy stuffs in the market,only for the cashier at the bank look at me and kept the withdrawal booklet asking me to stand aside as she was busy answering some men and women who appeared rich as well and was standing up to greet them in a very polite manner,i was very angry but kept my calm,it was getting worse when she had to answer about 4 people.i then called the branch manager where i opened the account to tell him about the incident,he immediately called the branch and the manager came out to me apologizing and i said its okay.he wanted to take the booklet but i asked him to let the lady do it,immidiately she logged in,she looked at me again and couldnt raise up her head all through,am like "Your eyes don see wetin u no expect".she then apologized and said sorry,i said no problem and dashed her 2k from the money.she almost knelt down to say thank you inside her cubicle.later that evening,my phone rang,it was this lady,she introduced herself and said she wanted to apologize that she took my number on the account and would like to be a friend.i told her what she did was illegal to take my number without the managers approval but she begged and said she wanted to thank me and also be friends.we started chatting,she asked if i was single,work i do,told her my business,she did another research i guess and bla bla bla.and few days later she begged to be my girlfriend.i thought it was a joke till she started sending nudes and all sorts,i was tempted by her beauty but decided to stay faithful to my fiancee and be careful but played along,she even came around to my business place but i sighted her from my office upstairs and told my workers not to give her a chance to meet me,that same weekend she told me she will be coming to my area and will like to lodge in a hotel so she can spend the weekend with me.i agreed knowing right inside myself that i wont be there with her then i let my fiancee handle the rest until she stopped calling.Moral of the story:DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.we all are attendants to one person,one way or the other,Stay Humble and work hard.Its going to be a blessed week for us all!

Please does anyone know how long it'll take before one gets passport back after approval mail has been received when the Mode of Application Submission is Paper Route.Got approval mail since last saturday and I havnt gotten my passport at Vsf.when I track it still shows accra.
What can I do or should I be scared.
Kindly share your opinion or thoughts

House Lo and Behold my medicals that was done on the 21st have not been sent by IOM they said they've been working on the samples that they had to send somewhere else for Good examination and they just don't send results they're not sure about because it might bounce back bad on the Applicant so they have to take time and work on it.. they said they will send today.'I Pray they do'I've been worried because there has been no progress in my App since I did the medicals.has anyone Experienced this or is this Normal thing IOM does??am just confused.cc:Sholay2011

Thank you so much for the Timely Response cc Sholay2011 I Think its CIC that's causing the delay but my worry is that the person we did the exam the same day already got his TRV.does this happen at times or its just a sign that I've been Delayed.and am thinking maybe I should wait till the coming week before I reach out to CIC about my application.I guess I can still resume about two weeks after resumption.

Please People I am extremely worried,I did my Medicals since August 21st and ever since I have not gotten any response back from cic.school has already resumed on monday and there was a guy I met at IOM on the day of medicals who we did the medicals together and has gotten his Trv yesterday.I applied via paper route and I have checked with VSF they don't have my documents back yet.could it be that my medicals have not been sent to cic or they are still working on my application and can I still resume this september?house please help!

I just got an admission to Mohawk college as an undergraduate to Study personal support worker,my concerns now is that,after my one year course as stated in the admission letter,can I make credit transfer to study Nursing at their partner universities whom they have agreement with.Secondly,will I start from my first year at the University or start from second year when I make the transfer.*someone said that's how its done but am not sure*Thirdly,will the VO grant me more than 1 year study permit since am going to continue my education after the college certificate or I can renew it over there or will I have to return to Nigeria to re apply.Please people don't ignore my question as this is important and urgent.sch resumes sept 1 so I have to begin all procedures now.Thanks in advance
