afroxyz: yiu are not living oga. you are just existing.
Money should be a means to an end and not an end in itself.
This is what the bible describes as the bottomless pit.
Insatiable accumulation of wealth to the extent you deprive yourself some fun once in a while.
What you gain at the sprint, you lose at the curve Bottomless pit? Sounds more like an apocalyptic kind of living. |

Bamz: Tumbulum
You're right.
I believe in calculated and wise spending but my dear the end result of money is not just for the money itself, the end result should be for good living, making oneself happy and having all the other good thing that money can buy
Maybe I'm just bothered about semantics. You see how the paragraph above contradicts the one below:
If I earn 3 to 5million per week I wouldn't mind blowing away 250k in a night as long as it is done once in a long time.
Blowing money away seems like waste, uncalculated and unwise spending. Maybe I read too much inbetween the lines. lol I can't stop laughing. Too much logic and reading in between the line |

ahiboilandgas: When a truck spends over a week on the road to generate gross 250 k ..i invited a friend of mine out to quilox (owns like 20 trucks) and family own a airline with some friends before I said Jack bills was 250k .....i told him we should start going home before the bill jump futher, then he suggested he will pay ..suprisely when the bill came he paid but kept lamenting and promise he will never go there again cos hard work money is not spend on that manner A guy comes from a family who owns an airline and he personally owns 20 trucks. Going by your estimate he makes like 3 to 5 million in a week and then this guy is lamenting that he spent 250k in one night having a nice time with his friends. Sometimes I ask myself some important question. To what end is the continues accumulation of wealth when we are not even sure the day the breath of life will cease. |

Hamachi: I'm 28years old, my parents died when i was 14years old. I dropped out of school because no one could afford to pay my fees.
I met a guy when i was 17years old and he sent me back to school. He sold fruits on the streets so he could pay my school fees.
He later got a job as a truck driver and sent me to university. I am now working as a lawyer. My problem is that i feel i can't continue with this relationship cos this guy is not the type of a man i would like to marry!!.
How best can i tell him that he is not my type without hurting his feelings?
I'm grateful he sent me to school but i can't be in a relationship with him anymore!. I want someone in my own class not an ordinary truck driver! No way you will tell him without hurting him. Just go ahead and do what you feel like. Life is not one bit fair. |

gidgiddy: Nigeria is a funny place! Herdsmen slaughter people daily, rape women. Nobody says anything
Unarmed IPOB will protest peacefully, they will send Soldiers to go shoot them, proscribe them and declare them terrorists. Nobody will speak up about that injustice.
But Ekweremadu will go to Germany, gets bundled out of the venue to his car. This is where all of them will now talk! It took the 'roughing up' of a Senator for the following to talk:
Ohanaeze Orji Uzo Kalu Ayo Fayose Asari Dokubo Abike Dabiri The Nigerian Senate president Osita Chidoka
And so many others. They are so concerned about how Ekweremadu was 'disgraced'
When IPOB are tortured in muddy water, they dont talk
When unarmed IPOB women are locked up for protesting, they dont talk
What they send python dance to kill unarmed IPOB, they say nothing
When unarmed IPOB who killed nobody are declared terrorists while armed herdsmen who kill people everyday are rewarded with Ruga, they say nothing
But once you touch Ike Ekweremadu in Germany, they will come out to shout about how wrong this is and the injustice of it all.
So what matters is how highly placed an individual is? Justice is for the senator while the common man on the street means nothing to them.
Ok oo I'm weeping here already bro. I weep for all of them. To them there life means nothing. To them the life of the senator is more precious than gold. |

bankylan: Your position has nothing to do with ATC&C loss the Discos are faced with. Buying over by the govt will only worsen the matter. This is what you get when the people who don't know about power and electricity market are the ones in charge. loses are a major problem faced by the discos but don't also forget that the discos themselves have not invested enough to tackle some of their problem. The discos were sold to people who had no money to invest and revamp the system and for that reason we have not seen much improvement. |
