The female body. It's a work of art and well deserves to be admired, while clothed or naked. And if you peel your eyes away from her butt and breasts for a few moments, you can improve your chances with the one you're after. Just look for these 10 subtle signs to understand what she's thinking and feeling. Pupils If she's feeling stimulated by you (not just sexually), her pupils will dilate. That's because her body is. Programmed to want to see more of whatever's exciting her, so her brain tells her irises to let in more light. Bonus: As the inkiness spreads, she'll start looking better to you, too. Research shows that men rate women with larger pupils as more attractive. Time to make your move. Eyelashes Hold her gaze for a minute. If she's blinking more than normal (which is about 15 times a minute), there's a good chance she's on the Pill; women on birth control blink 32 percent more than those who aren't. Aside from the obvious, what does that mean for you? Put on your toughest, most confident mug as you look at her. Because of the shift in hormone levels, research says, women on the Pill are more attracted to men with rugged features, such as strong, wide jaws. Brain She's matching you drink for drink but she seems like her same old self. What's the deal? Men and women get different kinds of buzzes: Men lose inhibitions, while women become sedated. If you're looking to get her into the party spirit, don't feed her more alcohol. Instead, turn up the music. Research shows that mid- to fast-tempo music will make her more social. Belly Want to know if it's a good or bad time to broach a tricky conversation? You can tell if she's suitably relaxed by her breathing pattern. If her stomach pulls in with each inhalation, she's taking shallow breaths from her chest, which indicates stress. Keep your distance. If her abdomen and chest expand with each inhalation, she's taking deeper, more rhythmic breaths-a sign of relaxation. Go for it. Nose Her sense of smell is sharpest first thing in the morning, which, aside from being a good reason to brush your teeth immediately, makes it the best time to impress her with your culinary skills. That's because 90 percent of taste is really smell. Treat her to a breakfast in bed consisting of banana, which has an aroma that, according to one study, increases bloodflow to the vagina. And that may lead to a different kind of morning treat. Chest Sex flush, a pinkish look to the skin of her chest occurs during pre-intimacy. It stems from changes in blood pressure and circulation, along with pulse and respiration rates. Think of it as her coy way of telling you that if you keep doing what you're doing, you just might get lucky. Another sign that things are working: A woman's breasts grow by as much as 25 percent as things turn hot and heavy. Small of Her Back As she moves toward orgasm during sex, she'll begin to arch her back. Hold her tight around the small of her back at this point and stay attuned to how much she's arching. And, for God's sake, do not let up; maintain the same rhythm and intensity of stimulation until she climaxes. She'll pay you back for this later, with interest. Fingernails Pay attention to her fingers; among the surest signs of anxiety or depression in a woman are body- focused repetitive behaviors, such as skin picking and nail biting. If you see her doing that, don't nag her to stop; that can send her deeper into a spiral. Instead, gently pull her hand away, give it a squeeze, and hold on to it. Feel the tension ooze right out. Hands If it seems as if she always has cold hands, that's because she does-almost 3 degrees colder than yours, possibly more if she's stressed. Women's bodies, even more than men's, are programmed to keep their cores warmer than their extremities. So to warm her hands up, don't massage them; wrap your arm around her waist. This will warm her core and allow blood to flow back into her hands. Between Her Legs Okay, you know enough about your partner's menstrual cycle to know when to leave her alone. Now add this to your arsenal: Two weeks after her period begins, she will be at her horniest, guaranteed. Female sexual motivation is highest when she's ovulating. Warning: This is also when she's most likely to get pregnant. |

The Christian Association of Nigeria in the 19 Northern States and Abuja has reacted to the killing of over 60 persons Monday evening at a motor park in Kano, saying it exposed the hypocrisy of those canvassing amnesty for Boko Haram members. The Christian body's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sunny Oibe, who stated this in an interview alleged that 90 per cent of politicians in the North were members of the sect. He said, "We commiserate with families of the people who lost their loved ones and they should take solace in the God, who is going to fight on their behalf. "The latest attack has exposed the hypocrisy of the people calling for amnesty for Boko Haram members. It is surprising that they are demanding amnesty for people, who have been killing innocent citizens on daily basis. "We are sad about it and the latest attack goes to show that they are not ready for any ceasefire. All the people calling for amnesty are part of these problems because they are shielding these people and almost 90 percent of core northern politicians are members of this Boko Haram."

Civilian shot dead in crossfire in Gwoza Kano: Gunmen have raided a prison in a northern Nigeria border town with Cameroon, freeing 170 inmates and killing a civilian, officials and residents said on Friday. The civilian was shot dead in crossfire when the gunmen in cars and on motorcycles stormed the prison Thursday in Gwoza, 130 km from the restive city of Maiduguri, the hotbed of Boko Haram Islamists, they said. “There was a total of 170 inmates in the prison and all of them were freed by the gunmen who overwhelmed us with their superior fire power,” a prison warden involved in the shootout, who requested anonymity, told AFP. “They set fire to the administrative building but spared the inmates’ rooms which they broke into and set all of them free,” he said. “A civilian was killed by a stray bullet during the shootout,” he added. Resident Zakari Kyari said the gunmen had taken part in the evening prayer at a nearby mosque before storming the prison. “Around 7pm just after the prayers the gunmen opened fire on the prison, chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and the wardens returned gunfire which led to a shootout,” he said. Two other residents gave a similar account of the prison raid. The spokesman for the joint military task force in the area, Sagir Musa, said he was not aware of the attack. It was not clear if the attackers were members of Boko Haram who have been blamed for scores of attacks in the area, or criminal gangs that also operate in the region. On March 5, gunmen killed nine people, including two policemen in an overnight raid on a police station in Gwoza. Nigeria has seen an upsurge in the Boko Haram insurgency in recent years. Violence blamed on the extremists has claimed some 3,000 lives in northern and central Nigeria.

The presidency, on Thursday, said following the granting of presidential pardon to former Chief Alamieyeseigha by President Goodluck Jonathan, the former Bayelsa State governor can contest for election in 2015 if he so desires. The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Public Affairs, Dr Doyin Okupe, who stated this during a press conference in Abuja, said rights and privileges of Alamieyeseigha had been restored with the pardon, adding that he could now pursue any calling of his choice. "If a man is granted presidential pardon, all hisrights and privileges are returned to him. He can sell groundnut, he can do business, he can go into politics, he can go abroad, he can do whatever he likes," he said. Okupe recalled that the former governor was jailed in 2006 and going by the provision of the Nigerian constitution, he would have been able to contest for any post 10 years after serving his jail term, even without the pardon. "Whether President Jonathan grants him pardon or not, by 2015, he will be fully qualified and eligible to run for election in 2016. I mean, if it is done now, what difference does it make? People are talking to me about timing. This is something that in the next two or three years will really expire and he will be a free man," Okupe said. The presidential aide said Section 175 of the 1999 Constitution empowered the president, in consultation with the Council of State, to grant presidential pardon to whosoever he chose, as he urged members of the civil societies to be reasonable on the issue. Okupe recalled that Alamieyeseigha was removed from office in a manner that was suggested by many as not being above board, saying "nevertheless, the former Bayelsa governor, whose pardon appears to be drawing all the flaks, has been tried, found guilty and adequately punished."

Just months after purchasing a $45 million dollar jet, and a few days after recklessly doling out several thousands of dollars to Nigerian music star, 2Face and his wife, Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio has taken possession of several bulletproof sprinter luxury vans from US based Texas Armoring Corporation (TAC). A source told Saharareporters that the governor took delivery of the Mercedes Benz made vans recently after they were customized to his specifications by TAC in Texas. The vans will join a remarkable fleet of top-of-the-line bulletproof luxury Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) Akpabio already has in his official convoy, making the latest purchase superfluous and insensitive, insiders in the government told SaharaReporters. The Texas Armoring Company has displayed the luxurious interior of Mr. Akpabio's latest toy on its Facebook page. The Akwa Ibom governor, who intends to run for the Senate when his second term ends, has emerged as one of Nigeria's hardest-spending governors, with a taste for the finest things, while most of his State remains undeveloped. He is also one of President Goodluck Jonathan's closest confidants, and recently emerged chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum, with a mandate to help Jonathan win re-election in 2015. Insiders say some governors convert some of the luxury possessions into personal items they take with them when they leave office, or give away as presents to friends.

The prophetess says her husband has become a threat to her life. A 51-year-old woman on Wednesday pleaded with an Agege Customary Court to dissolve her 22-year-old marriage over alleged adultery and threat to life. The petitioner, Titilayo Oluokun, a prophetess, who lives at 8, Aina Aladi Street, Agbado, Lagos, told the court that her husband, though a pastor, goes after “everything in skirt”. “Four women had four children for my husband in the last three years and he also has numerous girl friends; I know some of them because they live on my street. “I was in the church sometime in 2009 when a woman came with three children, claiming they belonged to my husband, who she said, had neglected her. “It was a thing of shame because I am the founder of the church and also a prophetess, while my husband is one of the pastors. “I gave the woman N20, 000 and begged her; I told her not to come to the church to disturb me again and when I told my husband, he only thanked me,” she said. The mother of two children aged nine and 18, told the court that she once brought her husband before another customary court and the case was settled there. She said in the other customary court in 2011, her husband was asked to write an undertaking that he would not impregnate any other woman again. “To my surprise, he impregnated two women after that and I knew I had to call it quit with him. “He beats me at every slight provocation and even threatens to kill me; he does not give the children money for feeding or pay their school fees. “I got him arrested sometime last year because he wanted to stab me and at the police station, he was asked to move his things out of my house,” she said. The prophetess told the court that her husband has been living in the house which she built. She urged the court to dissolve the marriage and give her custody of the children. Her husband, Adewale, did not appear in court and had also been absent in the last two sittings. The Court President, Emmanuel Sokunle, adjourned the case to April 3 for further hearing. (NAN)

Scientists found those who suffered several nights of poor sleep were more likely to develop the condition, in which the heart fails to pump properly. Experts say further research is needed to see if a lack of sleep causes heart failure or the link is more complex. Scientists at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology looked at more than 50,000 people aged between 20 and 89. At the beginning of the study, none of them were known to have heart failure. In this condition the muscles of the heart are often too out of shape to do their job properly - they may be too weak or too stiff to pump blood around the body at the right pressure. More than 750,000 people in the UK have heart failure and for the majority there is no cure. People with the disorder may feel increasingly breathless and exhausted. And as heart failure worsens, it can be difficult to get a full night's rest - but the Norwegian study is one of few to investigate whether poor sleepers without the condition are at risk of getting it in later life. 'Stress hormones' During the research, the participants were asked whether they had any difficulties getting to sleep or staying asleep and whether they felt fully restored after a night's slumber. People who had trouble falling asleep and remaining asleep each night were three times more likely to develop heart failure than those who reported no trouble sleeping. Those who experienced substandard sleep that failed to leave them fully refreshed were also at risk. And this link between a bad night's sleep and heart failure remained true despite researchers taking smoking, obesity and other well known triggers of insomnia and heart problems into account. The researchers say it is unclear exactly why poor sleep and heart failure are associated in this way. Dr Laugsand, lead author of the study, said: "We don't know whether insomnia truly causes heart failure. But if it does, the good thing is it is a potentially treatable condition. "So evaluating sleep problems might provide additional information in the prevention of heart failure." He suggests the lack of sleep may provoke harmful responses in the body. "When you have insomnia your body releases stress hormones which in turn may effect the heart in a negative way," he said.. The same team of researchers have previously reported a link between people prone to insomnia and heart attacks. 'Unpleasant condition' And diabetes, depression and poor brain function have all been linked to missing restful hours in bed. Dr Tim Chico, senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sheffield said: "This is an association study - it links insomnia to heart failure, but does not prove that insomnia causes heart failure or vice versa. Studies like this raise interesting suggestions that need further work to examine. "Insomnia is a very unpleasant condition, but there are effective lifestyle changes that can reduce it, such as weight loss and exercise. "Luckily many of the things that reduce the chance of heart failure also reduce insomnia - good diet, exercise, weight loss and not smoking. " June Davison, senior cardiac nurse at the British Heart Foundation, said: "This research shows a link between insomnia and your heart, but this doesn't mean sleepless nights cause heart failure. "It's well known that getting enough sleep is vital for your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. "Trouble drifting off can be helped by taking a warm bath to relax, or avoiding caffeine and heavy meals too close to the end of the day. "If lack of sleep is becoming a problem and affecting your daily life, have a chat with your GP.

His feet looked twisted, locked as they were around the legs of a tall bar stool. He shifted his weight and tousled his dark hair with his fingers. Hunching over again, he recrossed his arms and stared into the void behind a marble counter. “But how do you know?” His voice was deep and gravely with exhaustion. It appeared he was addressing the parade of bottles against the wall. “How do you know what’s, you know, real? When everyone claims a different truth about God and life and each of them is convinced he’s more right than the next guy, how do you keep from being completely lost?” Beside him sat a man twice his age, hair peppered and forehead deeply creased. His head remained bent as he studied the bottom of a heavy glass tumbler, hands wrapped loosely around its shape. His lips were pressed together so tightly the corners turned toward his chin. He inhaled slowly. “I met a man once. An old wheat farmer in Kansas who had lived most of his life too far from any church building. He plowed on Sundays and read his Bible to himself in the evenings. He couldn’t tell a person what day he accepted Christ and he didn’t know a thing about dispensations or predestination or what kind of clothes a Christian should wear. He didn’t know about denominations or music or bestseller Christian books. “For sixty years all he knew were the basics – the fundamentals, if you will. He knew Jesus loved him and Jesus saved him and he knew he loved Jesus back. He knew Jesus said to love people, so he helped his neighbors and took in strangers. “And when a young preacher tried to tell him he hadn’t been saved right and he hadn’t been baptized right and he didn’t go to church enough, my farmer friend crossed his arms on his belly and laughed. “So I’ll tell you what I think when my head turns fuzzy and I feel lost in all the raucous.” The man’s eyes were earnest as he turned and caught the boy’s searching gaze. “If the gospel requires more than the faith of a weathered old farmer holding his worn out Bible, loving God and loving people, it isn’t such good news after all.”
