Everyone has a price......some sell their conscience for bread, others rice, others garri, to vote for them...WILL YOU SELL YOUR OWN VOTE FOR A A TOLL THEY WILL START COLLECTING AFTER YOU VOTE THEM IN?.......unfortunately someone will still come here and say let's vote for them because they are listening to us......why was the toll gate closed in the first place..people should not forget....

So, what exactly did the Ogiame say when they visited him. Can't they point it out in their letter?
He actually said those words. The rebuttal says those words were taken out of context....I don't want to believe a king forgot that he should be neutral when a politician visited him. Man clearly provoked big blessings with what he said(if you know what I mean).

So PMB has the structure of the party and he had to lobby hard for consensus for his candidate to emerge chairman. Keep on deceiving yourself. Moreover you are only assuming that Osinbajo is Buhari's candidate and as they say, assumption is the mother of all fvck ups.
PMB had to lobby hard? do u know what lobby hard is...You think he will come out and say i am imposing this and that...And well you are correct I am still assuming, I may be wrong anyways, but right now we can only assume, when he comes out after they pick a candidate to say we are supporting this person, we will know. for now all everyone can do is assume.

You seem to forget how Buhari himself tried and failed three times before he was bailed out by BAT. He even had to rely on BAT again in 2019 to win re-election courtesy of BAT’s Bullion Vans. The President is smart enough to know that APC will likely lose in 2023 if BAT is completely alienated. It’s a game of chess but not everyone is willing to follow Buhari blindly to his retirement home in Daura ….or is it Kaduna that’s inviting him now.
Buhari failed when he wasnt in power, its a different ball game when you have the Police, EFCC, the Military, INEC, and the party structure under your control......based on the power they wield within their countries(the Nigerian President appears to be the most powerful president in the world)...Tinubu will only become president with the support of the president, which is not clear now. I know you will mention GEJ, but hey its a combination of factors for that one, bad performance, powerful alliance within the opposition(Saraki, Tinubu, Buhari, Amaechi, plus the media propaganda, social media, activists, wole soyinka n co, OBJ and the selfishness of the north to rule forever)...all of these things worked against GEJ..........Forget that Buhari does not talk, the man is brutal and he knows how to use power.

Upworkwriter007:
That's what you don't understand. It's difficult for PYO to be on that Ticket without Tinubu's support. How will you do that without both the Senate, Reps, Lagos, Kano, Borno, and Sokoto voting block for primaries.
Consensus..... Now who decides if its a consensus or election, the leadership of the party(in a sane society after due consultation with party members)....are we in a sane society? NO are things done properly by political parties? NO. a lot of people have been shouting for electoral reforms and reforms of the judicial system, but peole think they are just constituting a nuisance. Any Nigerian president has the structure of the ruling party, the judiciary and police and military in their pocket......Nigerians will shout imposition, nothing will come out of it.
ABout the ones u mentioned, do some of them have a price? Absolutely and very cheap too. Will some of them trade Tinubu's support for EFCC getting off their back? YES. Will some of them trade Tinubu's support for 2nd term assurance? A VERY BIG YES. Does Tinubu have enough time to float a new party and use that party to win an election? I do not think so. Will he join PDP? I may be wrong but i doubt it. Do not trust politicians. No permanent friend or foe in politics. Its a game of interest for them

Your No. 3 is wrong or not exactly valid.....PYO is PMBs choice and I think you are the only one who does not see this, except you are just using this your write-up to sway opinion of voters.......Sadly there will be a party primary election before, I agree with you that Tinubu will win the votes of delegates, because of the financial warchest and ofcourse his political might and wit(no one can doubt that). PMB has the structure of the party(i.e. how the party will produce its candidate)......Already Tinubu loyalists that understand politics are already saying Tinubu will defeat anybody "IN A PRIMARY ELECTION". There is a reason they are putting so much emphasis on "in a primary".
You just watch how the leadership of the party will eventually opt for a consensus candidate....Sadly or thankfully(depending on where u stand) it will be too late for Tinubu to float a new party. I dont ever see him decamping to PDP

this is not true sir, i have not seen a single yoruba man that prefers obi to osinbajo and tinubu, obi may be in their best 2 or 3, let myself obi is in my top 3 but never ahead of tinubu and osinbajo.

On what basis will male yoruba's prefer obi, i was asking people apart from obi financial acumen what were his standing project as 8yrs governor, i have not seen just 1.
Well, I do. Obi changed the face of education when he was governor, and this is not just crayfish talk, the facts are there.......

read this article up here....Obi says these things and brags about it all the times.....his opponents have not said he is telling lies..
what project is bigger than educating the people......an educated person is empowered enough to vote against a bad government..That's the real thing

See this pro-Tinubu man trying to form neutral argument....we see through the facade....a lot of people don't want Tinubu because he's greedy and nepotistic....but u chose to leave that out, running with the other reasons that will suit your argument. People have a right to decide who they want....stop playing the tribalism card, a lot yorubas prefer obi to both osinbajo and the tinubu

I just want us to focus on the real meat. Let us question the candidates on substance.

So far, only Peter Obi knows why he is running. Tinubu said it is a lifelong ambition. Atiku already said he wants to empower his friends. Osinbajo says he wants to continue from where Buhari stopped. Let us as the electorate ask them what their plans are and peg those plans with their records in service. Some candidates are healthy in body, but unhealthy in mind.
looool...u are right.....only Obi knows why he wants to run...Osinbajo? i dont even care what we wants to do, he will never have the moral justification to say he wants to do well for Nigeria....his declaration speech was a mess.....continue the good works of Buhari...the good works of insecurity ravaging the land, the good works of naira depreciating further, the good works of poverty increasing and borrowing to govern and nothing to show for it.
Tinubu? just look at Lagos, look at nepotism , look at imposition, look at one man empowering thugs to keep causing problem...look at the endSars movie.
Atiku? a northern version of Tinubu
Nigeria may be cursed......becos i even doubt pdp will present Obi...Atiku will buy the delegates

What evidence do you have that he is not healthy?

Note that only a competent medical personnel can issue a health certificate which should form the basis of a discussion. Until we have his health records, we are not competent to discuss his health.

On corruption, where is the record of his conviction?
well u are right....thankfully we are all in it together...supporters of Buhari and the ones on ther side, we all buy dollar at the same rate....when the onslaught starts now, it will not separate tinubu supporters from those on the other side.

One thing even those who hate Tinubu have never accused him of is incompetence.

Their argument against Tinubu is that he is old, is not healthy, is corrupt, is a drug peddler...pedestrian arguments.

As for the guy referenced above, he messed up during the interview. He was combative and was saying the Vice President can take us out of the doldrums. Until now, I have not seen a mature politician selling the Osinbajo candidacy. They are all spoiling for a fight, e.g., Babafemi Ojudu.
Osinbajo has a huge baggage: that baggage is the failure of this government. I would have advised him not to contest. Retire quietly like Namadi Sambo.
not healthy and corrupt are not pedestrian arguments.....what you should be saying is they should prove that he is corrupt. He is also nepotistic and what defines corruption more than that.

Careful not to use words anyhow.
