And with Osinbajo as the president, Lagos will be liberated from the hand of one man sitting on the destiny of over 20 million lagosians, imagine lagos Governor couldn't start and complete over 6km Road at a stretch all the roads he has commissioned are less than 7km at a stretch , is that not a shame? Whereas, akwa ibom governor commissioned over 29km of Road at a stretch recently, where is lagos money going?

Anybody that is not in support of their emperor is labelled igbo, as yoruba man I have been called all sort of names for saying I don't believe in a Tinubu presidency....I have not seen a bunch as intolerant as Tinubu followers, calling anyone jot in support of Tinubu unprinted names, osinbajo is a traitor for aspiring to be president. To them Presidency is the birthright of the Tinubu, I have no problems with anyone that believes that, but let's other have their opinion in peace. Finally, It will shock them month end.

I once told someone that with the money Lagos state has been generating for over two decades now, there shouldn't be any undeveloped part of Lagos by now.

The infrastructural deficits fall short of the so called IGR and not the other way around.

That is, the IGR generated in the past 2 decades should have been enough to ensure all parts of Lagos are developed.

It's a very small state for crying out loud.

YOu are very correct...I wonder why so many people do not see this OR just choose not to see this...The leaders and owners of Lagos are focused on politics, not governance......Lagos generates between 40 and 50billion naira every month(inflated projects not included)......people need to understand the kind of infrastructure jjust 5 billion naira can build to understand what is happening...right now the whole of Lagos should at worst be a construction site

The population he is complaining about........they do business, pay tax, they live somewhere, they pay tenement rate, they use LAGBUS/BRT....the government makes money..........the money lagos generates is enough to transition Lagos to a real mega city......How many billion goes inside the pocket of the Lord of Lagos and his friends, family and thugs....that's enough money to create a livable city with basic amenities, that'S enough money uplift the standard of education and provide basic healthcare. U are happy about the prosperity the population surge brings, but u complain about the need to match up in service delivery to that population

What the writer is telling you is that leading candidates usually do not win primaries of their party, for ruling parties, they get sidelined in the end.

do u honestly think Faleke/Tinubu has the delegates in his pocket more than the state Governor.....I think a lot of Governors and exgovernors and ministers coming out is to cut down votes that ordinarily would belong to Tinubu...the Northern delegates will decide and I think whoever the President supports hold all the aces...and that's why even from politician, u hear them talk so much about who the president supports, consulting with the president, as if it is the president that will decide, but they know the truth, the President decides who flags his party ticket after him....no contest

My concern is that Pandora tribesmen are too tribalistic to see anything good in an average Yoruba man hence their blind criticism for anything Yoruba. Tinubu that is a household name for insults among the Yeebos has a better score card as governor than Pandora in terms of achievement based on available funds to the two states they once governed but tribal hatred has beclouded their reasoning up to the level that anything Tinubu must be criticized. I have been on this forum for a while mention any Yoruba leader, Yeebos must condemn them from Awolowo to Abiola and now Tinubu. You are right, so much hatred for and attack on Yoruba leaders here. Personally I don't care who hates me or doesn't like me. I have risen above all of that. Lots of igbo leaders doing the job for Tinubu right now. All I am saying is that events in Nigeria have shown that the only unity is the one at the top of the pyramid. People just fight and abuse themselves for nothing on nairaland. Tinubu's son will still nail a big contract from Enugu state government before one Emeka on nairaland, Peter Obi's children will still get favors from Tinubu before one Kunle on nairaland. Why should I care about tribe.
