PoliticsI Am Supporting, Not Moving Against Ajimobi -Tinubu by Tundemuttee(op): 6:47am On Mar 05, 2019
Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says his relationship with Abiola Ajimobi, governor of Oyo state, is solid.

Tinubu was reacting to a report that he was making moves to ban Ajimobi from leading APC campaigns in Oyo.

Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s media adviser, denied the report saying the national leader was only lending his support to the governor efforts in the state.

He noted that Tinubu’s intervention in state’s chapter of APC is to facilitate “genuine reconciliation and not to supplant the governor”.

“This report goes beyond a lie. It is a vindictive attempt to sow discord because the writer is angered by the APC’s success in the presidential election,” he said in a statement.

“By its unsubstantiated report, the medium seeks to set brother against brother. Asiwaju and Governor Ajimobi have been political brothers and allies for a long time.

“Moreover, Governor Ajimobi has been an excellent governor and a faithful member of the APC. He has brought progress to the state and in serving two consecutive terms, Ajimobi made history in Oyo.

“He is instrumental to anything the APC can achieve in Oyo.”

The statement said the actions of the national leader was to bring “all together” to achieve success in the forthcoming governorship election.

“The truth is that Asiwaju is not trying to supplant or hide the governor, instead, Asiwaju is lending his support to the governor’s and APC’s efforts in the state,” he said.

“As such, he has held strategic meetings with some notable groups and important individuals. The heart of the discussions was the need for all to come together to achieve victory for APC in the March 9 governorship poll.

“We want and need Governor Ajimobi to be a visible figure at the forefront of this campaign during these final decisive days. He will prove pivotal to our hope for victory in the state.

“In addition to not having such a negative inclination, Asiwaju wields no such power and has no desire to have such power.

“Asiwaju views Governor Ajimobi as highly disciplined and a committed and respected party leader, unlike some others who have no respect for party supremacy. The relationship between them remains solid and loyal.”

Kkkk

deomelo:
The PDP is ibo/SE regional party and the last election proved it all over again. Clowns like Reno and other PDP losers have to and must keep ibos in like within their party because without ibo as their last loyal base of support, they are toast, completely.

Sadly for them, ibo votes are utterly irrelevant, we saw what transpired on election day.

lionness:
PDP style of politics,
1. praise the Ibos and make their head swell and sing their victim songs to them
2. Remind the Christians of how barbaric the Muslims are
3. Stir the ego of the Naija delta and tell them their oil belongs to them alone

Reno omonkey should try another useless tactic

PoliticsNigeria Economy Will Collapse, If Igbo's Returns Home - Reno Omokri by Tundemuttee(op):
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has revealed what will happen to Nigeria Economy, If Igbo's returns Home.

I don’t know if Igbos understand their power. If every Igbo man, woman and child in Nigeria returns home for a year, the economies of 5 geopolitical zones may collapse. You can’t say this about any other ethnicity. Treat Igbos well. Not for their sake. But for your region’s sake.

If instead of investing in other zones, Igbos invest in only SE, the zone would not need federal allocation. Much of the IGR generated in Lagos, Kano and Kaduna is disproportionately generated by Igbos. Oil will come and go. The ingenuity of the Igbo is forever. Appreciate them.

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus says those celebrating the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are celebrating criminality.

He said this on Monday while addressing party members at the expanded caucus meeting in Abuja.

Secondus also noted that the party had finalised plans to go to court over the outcome of the presidential election and that proceedings will commence immediately.

Speaking further, he also took a swipe at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies, saying they were compromised during the elections.

On the reports given by international observers, the party chairman alleged that they had been threatened by the government, hence their favourable reports.

He, however, urged party supporters to remain calm while calling on INEC to ensure that the March 9 governorship elections are free and fair.

Meanwhile, the party has demanded the immediate release of Atiku’s son-in-law and lawyer, saying they are being held for no reason by a government that has no respect for the Rule of Law.

The caucus has now gone into a closed-door session after which the press will be briefed by the National Publicity Secretary.

According to him, the arrest was part of the plot to make Atiku concede the result of the just concluded election.

But reacting, Reno Omokri on his Twitter page wrote: “BREAKING: @officialEFCC arrests @Atiku’s son-in-law. A plane collapsed because of too much cash, No EFCC investigation. @Atiku has businesses. You say he is a thief.
