The only way they can justify it is the timeline

U better dont say anything or ur ass will be kicked.... everyone+zinfly blood dey hurt bruv lolol have a lovely day

When I talk Madam zinfly would give me red card!!!

My husband has an interview in two weeks and I was really hoping he would hit the ground running but as it is he may not make the interview. This wait is insane. Anyway I just missed the rant.

TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by tunderule2016: 5:19pm On May 09, 2016
Firstly, i want you to know appeal can take 1 year. If you want my honest opinion, as the appeal is on , submit a fresh application and make sure this time you submit every document in details. It is expensive to do a fresh application but as i always tell ppl it is a wise option.

So let your appeal go on and on the other side put in a fresh application and they tend to answer one very fast as long as you submit all the documents.

Please before you submit check all required documents again and dont be ignorant (learn from your mistakes)

Fifi123:
Hi everyone

This is my full storry .....

I'm Moroccan, got married in UK with a British man which he is originally from Pakistan on May 2014.
We applied for settlement uk visa on the end of the same month. Which was May.
We have been refused on November 2014. Than we appealed on same month.
They refused with reason that I was in UK as a visitor. With visit visa.

Than , they refused again and we got a hearing date on Jun. I and my husband attend in the court. The judge accepted our marriage but never accept that we broke the law.
We didn't know that I couldn't get married in UK or submit a spouse visa application as I'm a visitor.
The judge decided that I have to go back to my country, which is Morocco. And apply from there.
I came back to Morocco on August, I made a fresh application, submitted all paper work on November 2015. but unfortunately they refused again, the reason this time was belong my husband, his financial requirements, he is disable person which he is taking money from government, because he is ill and can't work.

NB : the judge accepted his healthy case before, so no problem with this point for me.

But the problem is my husband didn't send all his paper work (by mistake) like some bank statements and rent document (payslip) .
Now they sent me a notice of pending appeal o April 2016, and give a very long time which is 15 weeks!!
They said that they will write to me to give me an other date ( like appointment may be ) after 26 July 2016.
I don't know why they give date so far.
Is this because they refused again and then will give me a hearing date?
Do they might answer before ?
Is it any chance to win without hearing? Because we think we sent them everything they wanted.
Any advise please? .

Thank you

Hmmm.. there decision would have been made on the interview date.... but they want your application to complete 12 weeks which will be 12 weeks this week or next from the day of biometric. Stay positive sis, God is your strength....

You will get a response this week, please try and check the card you used to make payment for IHS, if it has not been refunded then things are looking positive. No news is considered good news as my partner always say. So stay positive.

Well, if i am to be honest here @FrontPageLawyer is right you will be playing the game of Trial and Error.... so your chances are 40-60 but at times you might be lucky and the UKVI handling your case will be nice... and in good mood.

Who is sponsoring the trip? you or your mom? when i know the answers i can help with my opinion...

happy sunday to you too and blessed week ahead.... I have seen cases where , they have not contacted the sponsor and they issued the visa. Stay positive and i pray everything will come out positive. Most things they do is when a priority comes in, they push aside the non-priority to the back tolll.. You should be happy because you have not received a refund (IHS) so definitely it is a good sign.... another method you know it is good sign...

Your Visa is approved IJN... sending all my positive energy for u..and your family.

Note: I just looked through the timeline of Portsmouth86 on the timeline thread... they contacted her to come for interview on the 10th week... try to go to the thread and have a good clue..

have a lovely weekend

Patience I hear they say, is a virtue!!!! If applications are deemed valid, they would have no choice but to issue a visa.
Enjoy the sun, lack of power, lack of fuel etc etc etc. When UK pressure hits the applicant(s), they would look back and wish!!!!!

It is so annoying... this people are so unfair , i made some calls yesterday and i was told they intentionally do it to our applications... I did not pay for priority because i read it on the page that one should not pay for priority for settlement visa. I found out that that Notice on the page is false. I cannot believe they are doing such to Nigerians...because most other applications whom submitted around 20th of march and above they have started receiving there visas. Why would he not make the interview? what is wrong ?

when you tracked was it no updates they sent to you or what did they say?

The delay is simply between Priority application and normal application.
The cost of priority application has to be justified. Did you pay for priority application? If not, the wait is normal.

Then follow your heart and God.... but i can tell you tithing is important....in so many ways....

The Principles of plenty (Prov. 3:9–10)

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

Offerings and tithes (Deut. 12:5–6)

But you shall seek the place that the Lord your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation there. There you shall go, and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.

The tithe was not a volitional offering. The ten percent off the top belonged to God and the Israelites simply repaid it. But this wasn’t the only obligatory tithe. They also tithed to support a special jubilee festival (Deut. 12) and took a third tithe every three years to take care of orphans, widows, and the poor (Deut. 14). These mandatory offerings averaged out to about 23 percent a year.

The robbing of God (Mal. 3:8–9)

Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.

Throughout the Old Testament, an offering was something you gave, but the tithe was something you owed. It belonged to the Lord and it was repaid—it wasn’t a gift. On top of the importance of recognizing God’s sovereignty in the tithe, the whole priestly system relied on the tithe to stay functional.

Of particular interest here is the how the withholding of some in Israel put the whole nation at risk of God’s judgment.

Testing God in the tithe (Mal. 3:10–12)

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts. Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts.

In his mercy, God desperately wants to use the carrot rather than the stick. If he can, he’ll try to get his people to respond to promises of blessing for their obedience instead of having to bring the hammer of judgement down.

Giving in secret (Matt. 6:1–4)

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

The terrible thing about our acts of devotion is how easy they are to twist in order to put our faithfulness on display. Once we’ve made ourselves the object and focus of our generosity, we have undermined the act.

God has always promised reward for the faithfulness of his saint, but Jesus tells us that when you draw attention to your giving, the respect and awe you’ve inspired becomes your reward—invalidating further blessing.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Asks Members To Write Their Salaries Amount (Private And Public Workers) by tunderule2016: 6:02pm On May 01, 2016
This can be seen in two ways!!!! maybe if you really explain how your pastor put it down to the congregation!!!

He might be willing to help ppl who does not tithe because this is a secret which a lot of people ignore tithing and i can say i am one of the people who does not tithe but earlier this year i made a convenant with God that i will tithe and i have been faithful with it .

On the other hand the pastor might be wanting the tithe for himself... But God in is wisdom says though shall not Judge...

If a Lecturer as you to pay for handout do we question the lecturers no.. because he is a Dr in his field and he knows the handout is important...so maybe you should see the light that he is trying to guide your members to a greater course..

One thing is certain if u r giving tithe you are giving it to God so make he chop am or not .. God sees your heart..

Optimisticgondy:
This Happened In My Church Today

Pastor preached about tithing in church today, and after sermon, he asked all salary earners (private and public) to stand.

To my utmost perplexity, he (the Pastor) directed the Secretary to start writing their NAMES and their MONTHLY SALARIES respectively.

Will he start coercing them to pay tithes to him personally based on their monthly salaries or what? Is it compulsory for a Pastor to know his members' salaries? What does he want to do with it?
These are some of the questions that ran through my mind in church then. Till this moment, I seem not to know his intention until next week. I wonder what churches are turning to these days.

Does anyone have an idea of what he will likely do with their names and monthly salaries?

Ok....so which hotel should I book bro?
Thank God that's why am here.....pls advice.

After u've taken into consideration all justwise suggested, just know that there's no sin if you eventually stayed in hostel / dormitory but for the purpose of visa procurement, you may have to book reasonable hotel via booking.com. if done enough time ahead, you could get good budget Bread & Breakfast hotel.
Try and depict something close to these *my theory*
1. Draft a reasonable budget that is not more than 2or3 months (atmost) of ur total income (salary, properties, stock/shares etc) after all deductions (monthly living costs, given to family members)
É.g if ur salary is 140k & income from verifiable rent, share etc is 30k, u live on 30k monthly and you give family members 15k monthly, then your disposable monthly income equals 125k. your budget should never be more than btw 325k-350k.
2. Your closing balance on SOA shld b more than 2times your budget. From above closing balance should be around 700k or if plus, an advantage
3. What is d cost to you personally (£)? This is your budget wich is distributable into:
Flight; verified via ur unpaid booked flight (110k)
Accommodation via ur unpaid hotel reservation (£60 if done well ahead of time and lesser period for tourists)
Living expenses (feeding @ average of £20/day or lesser if u book BB. plus local transport £6/daily; zones 1-6 if ur hotel is in central London) Use oanda.com to convert (a plus coz its cheaper than wat is eventually obtainable).
Lastly, total amount of money you have for this trip shld be like 60-70% of your closing Account Balance.

I stand to be corrected on any of the above though.
Happy New Month to you all

1000 % you are fine.... bruv... if it is in Hundreds of thousand then i can say you should worry but 60k come on it will not even buy a flight ticket and 850k u have got in balance... Bruv no worry yourself... except if you want to satisfy your conscience.. then you will explain the 60k .. then you will have to explain other cash deposit you have made too... which ECO get time ...lol I do understand your worry but fear not... but if you insists... kindly follow @nairacountry because i just noticed he made some important point to back your deposit up..

This ECOs too have target given to them by their OGAs which they have to meet... so a time is set on each application, that is why at times they make silly mistakes.

Bruv worry yourself about other things than the 60k...

I will advice to call the bank because this banks are very funny. Settlement application submitted at March 9th, GTB told us that they can only allow 1000 USD (online and withdraw) for a month. I called access and they allowed 3000 USD for online payment but @ 302 Naira for 1 $.

So i will advice to call the bank first to ask them how much they allow for online payment and what is the day exchange rate..

Good luck

Your bank statement + pay slips and make sure in the additional information BOX make sure you explain what you just said in their... YOur contract of employment and if the cooperative can add a letter confirming your participation in the saving scheme , that will really help. I use to do a little thing but you do not need to do it . I circle salary in bank statement just to make it clear and easier for the ECO to see because there are many transaction in statement. Hope this helps..
