Ok Inec certificate is great... More also, properties, assets, shares in your name can stand as strong ties...
well i dont think there is more you can show anymore ... just make sure he states int he sponsor letter the connection between you too and he is taking full responsibility of your sponsorship over there.

Good luck and God speed...

Question1:
@TunderRule,

My uncle wants to attach His INEC certificate, that shows he won his election has a Honourable Ogun House of Assembly, please is that enough as a proof of his employment as a legislator..

Again, pls what can I use to show as a proof of strong connection apart from bearing same surname with him and apart from attaching pictures we have snapped together and some bank alerts of money he sent to me..

Thanks for your time

booking.com, hotels.ng, there is a very good hotel up in omole Estate (safe environment) which has 24 hrs electricity and easy access to everywhere.... its called Dreamland Luxury Suites, very nice, price is very ok and reasonable. you can ask for discount since u staying for a week.... Most hotels in lagos, u can strike a deal with them when u r there is you are staying longer than 4 to 5 days, they will definitely give u a discount. Goodluck

You are welcome.....so glad for u .. and am so happy everyone here got good news on the settlement visa....

egal22:
@Tunderule, Obabola, Lexusgs, Batba, thank you all.
Yes Tunderule i think i do deserve it after like 63 working days + cant wait to live with my heartdesire for better for worse..@Lexusgs...i wish i remembered when i promised something like but however you will be rewarded by the almighty God in a very special way....
My timeline:
Submitted on 24th March biometrics taken.
Application received on 28th March by Sheffield
Long wait of 60 working days....
Decision taken email received on 16th June
My love got all the papers back on 17th June
This morning email from TLS for collection 20th June
I got my passport with UK visa on it + TB cert and english test cert.
To God be the glory.
I once more appreciate this forum and more esp. The moderators and the originator...you guys killed it.
To all the waiters and future applicants.....God is on your side...i pray and wish you all luck
My humble experience: please go for priority because its just same as spending the 450pounds in these 4months or the so called 60working days or 12 working weeks
Time costs money..., so 450pounds = 60 or more working days + the emotional killings etc....
Thank you all and bye for now.

Make sure he writes a sponsor letter.. it will be nice if u can make him write the letter on a letter headed paper.
pay slip, bank statement, Copy of the sponsors ID or passport...

it will not be a bad idea if he can include employment document....to confirm is salary and Confirming the sponsors ability to sponsor you..

Question1:
Thanks for your time, and thanks for condoning me...

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by tunderule2016: 4:55pm On Jun 18, 2016
Firstly, u can apply from Nigeria as it is your country of nationality. You do not need put a copy of refusal. Just in the additional informational box; explain about your situation and a bit of why you applying from nigeria. Not too wordy but sentences.

Also, include in there in the additional information box how the course you are going for will make u grow (continuity important)...
Most importantly as i mentioned before make sure there is a connection between u and your sponsor... you could see one of the reasons they refused u was evidence of legal guardian.

Question1:
God Bless you sir,
The school is Kinds College London Summer London, Just for 3weeks.
Let me butress more, I am a studying in Ghana(Regent Uni) so I apply for summer school in Kings College London an affilliate of my school in Ghana.

I had applied in Ghana Cos I have the 1 year residence permit of Ghana. unfortunately I got reject of the Visa due to the following reasons;
1) I use my guardian's without any evidence of legal guardianship
2) No relationsship between my chosen summer course(Greek) and my current course(Economics) at Regent Uni.

All these issues have been dealt with .

Kings College has changed my course to International Business.(Attached with Letter of purpose and motivation)
Secondly, I want to use my uncle(Honourable Member, Ogun House Of Assembly) as a sponsor, He has sent my document to Ogun state Liason officer to apply for me...
Pls what is my chance of obtaining Visa in Nigeria haven applied in Ghana before?
Do I need to make a photocopy of my refusal letter and attached, to let the ECO handling my document know dat i was once rejected....Please just tell me what to do and what not to do?

The Liason officer is sounding like theres No Problem..
I need to contact u guys
@Mr Tunderule, Justwise, Vicjustice and others pls

bruv.. am settled in already... u know i had lived here for over 4 years before...
omo men that pounds to naira thing is on my mind like anything .. cant wait to start working ooo ...
U kidding right, NHS for UK helping the president .. lmfaooo.... is there no good clinic in naija?

100 pounds = 51, 000 naira... this is unreal ...

Lexusgs430:
Hope you are settled or settling in? I hear £ is now 510 to the Naira. Quickly start sending £ down o. LOL
NB: I dey o, enjoying this lack of power and hike in fuel price. The only positive is price of tomatoes is getting better, but we now have new forex policy, but our president is been treated by the NHS,cos he has an ear infection. I hope on his return, he replicates the NHS in Nigeria !!!!!
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by tunderule2016: 9:17am On Jun 18, 2016
I really do not remember your reason of rejection before but i will reckon u let them know you were refused and make sure you show strong connection between u and your uncle . Have u got admission into the school here in london? please try and confirm the school u r coming to in london is a geninue school; cos there are so many bogus schools here in uk extorting foreign students.

More docus,

1 Uncle sponsor letter
2 accommodation plans in uk
3 School fee payment

Cant think of anything right now.... Good luck...

Question1:
Good morning guys..

Sorry I never meant to disturb u with my issue..But if u can advice me God will help u.

i was the guy who was rejected visa Last month in Ghana.
Now I have come to Nigeria for Holday to stay with my Uncle(We bear thesame surname, hes my dads brother).
However this my uncle is currently a honourable in OGUN STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.

I explained my issue to him that I intend to attend summer but I was rejected around May dis year due to mistake of chosen ancient greek of which has been changed to INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS. Also rejected due to my sponsor not showing legal guadianship.

Now my uncle uncontrollably got interested and he told me he would contact OGUN STATE GOVT LIASON OFFICER who stays at Lagos to apply for me...

That was how he started oh, Now he took all my docs and he proved to sponsor me, and attached his BANK STATEMENT(he have same surname), sponsorship letter, our pictures (we snap everytime), My uncles datapage. Also, together with my docs
1.intro letter from my school(Regent Uni ) introducing me nd stating they had a long standing relatioship with Kings college London
2. Support letter from Kings college stating I have enrolled for International bus.
3. A letter of motivation for chosing international business
4. All my schol receipt.
5. School ID
6. A letter stating the reason for my first ever refusal as an innocent mistake that the school misguided me, now have chosen a more relatd course
7.My university Transcript

Apart from these, docs of d British citizen i will stay with in d Uk are included..
bankstatement,british passport datapage,letter of sponsor,utilities bills..

Please advice me, the Ogun Govt Liason officer has started already he wants me to come Biometeric, I'm scared..But to him, he believes I cant be rejected by God's Grace..Pls advise me wat other docs is required..I bellieve God holds the power and the will

TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by tunderule2016: 6:04pm On Jun 17, 2016
u r right bruv... that is why i asked @mizbee what kinda application ... if it is settlement priority na the way but if it is just standard visa i dont think priority is important except the person no ready wait for few days... Hope you good though bruv.

Lexusgs430:
If you have the funds, and not the time to wait(for normal application), Priority application is the way to go. The emotional, psychological, physical and other traumas associated with normal application, is to hard to bear.
Ask tunderule2016 and others they would tell you (tunderule2016 trauma is now over).
If you pay priority application and your application is successful, expect to check out like Andrew within a month of submitting application.

She needs to write IETLS....and now it has to be from a UKVI certified centre. I have seen ppl refused submitting IETLS not from a UKVI approved centre... so be careful...The lawyer is right.

The IELTS test for UK visa purposes is designed to meet certain administrative requirements that are specific to UK Visas and Immigration. Test Report Forms will be slightly different, to show that test takers have taken the test at an IELTS UK visa session.

They try to complete that 60 days... so am sure u will hear something before friday IJN. i think u should call, it can not cost u more than 2 to 3 thousand naira. This 35k thing you talking about if i can remember properly they were referring to Tier 2 holders.... dont worry yourself too much about it .. because when you get this 2.5 years visa, u will still need to apply for another 2.5 years... so abeg leave that matter of 35k...

waiting for ur good news oo...

egal22:
Thanks so much dear...., yes no refund so far....today is 58th day. Does it mean it must be the 60th day that i wil get the confirmation first an another 5days to come collect passport to even know if its positive of cos i pray its gonna be positive..., but the waiting is killing me softly...

Again this rumour of £34000. Thats so hilarious.....its not gonna be easy to increase it like that. There is nothing they can do to stop settlement migration when british citizens are the ones suffering the pains. £20k-£24k will be likely to be approved but not £34k. Its outrightly hilarious.....

Do have a blissful day.

If the B.sc was achieved in uk then you do not need the IELTS but if it is outside the U.K. then you will need to do that.

That will be the first step.

To start with;
My wife put exactly the amount of stamps needed to return the documents she sent to the Sheffield office but to my surprise they included my document and her document which obviously is over the stamped she attached...

The envelope you sent is it a self addressed stamped envelope? What they do most times is if you sent a self addressed envelope and their is not enough stamp on it .... they still send it but u will get a letter from post office saying you have a parcel to pick up and you will be charged way higher .

Since i can deduce you did not include self addressed stamps... please go to this link; contact them on the phone number as it is for ppl inside the UK....
