untainted: In other climes, dozens of well equipped medical personnel are deployed to save cats or dogs that fall into holes. Helicopters may even be used. In nigeria, the other time it was ngozi that was taken to England. Today it is ojb but between then and now thousands of nameless nigerians have died of same ailments. Fix the hospitals and stop shining with celebrities.Tell dem...Just today, I for the 4th tie hadto change the referreal general hospital for a patient who can't seem to get dialysis done in general hospitals....all because of no bed space...even lasuth turnd the patients twice with flimsy excuse...nd this one dey offer free sessions to one celeb when general hospitals Cants cater for the common man..shio |
I just chop finis...soon to hit my bed knowing I don't have to wake up for 5 tomorrow...might do somemental calculation as to things needed to buy...(As alert just sound some hours ago)...mayb sip some red wine sha... |
Nweike1: I think people some people calling d doctors greedy or feeling that they should involve other health care workers in the strike action are myopic. The doctors on strike are RESIDENT DOCTORS, meaning doctors under training to become specialists. What they are asking for is better funding for their programs, so they can be better trained and offer quality care to patients. They are not asking for salary increase.I tire oo...abeg help me tell dem...sho, this pple just seem to be oblivion of wat pple go thru in teaching hospitals and health instituition...I know of a guy that waited 8months to get radiotherapy done for him in UCH..why, because na only UCH get the infracstructural capacity....now se na doctor brain u go caRry comot come do the procedure? Or how is that related to the docs salary...? They fight for thsi same radiotherapy capabilities to be available natiowide nd u say nommmlet the pple take to queues to do it in just one center...I pray ur relations don't fall into desperate patients shoes...I pray...JEEZZZZ....Nigerians can be anoying...especially the so called educated ones... |
Lady Winona: My, my.... This article has given me quite an insight on several things. One of which is that eloquence and a skill in delivering of one's point is a vital factor in getting one's message across.God Bless u..u shall pass part 1 once nd part 2 once...abeg I dey find placement oo for radio..any luckwhere u dey? |
ikennahill: very big lie. They are graded, you have regristrar, snr registrar, etc.if you pass you can move on with that.yes they sign bond like others that are allowed to even do post grad diploma, but they can ignore the bond and move on .you want only you to be trained but fight optometrists from doing internship in government hospitals,so you don't know that that internship will make them better Doctors of optometry? and patients will benefit from it yet you fight them, your NARD even kicked against their call duty allowance and use your position which ransome kuti erroneously gave to you to see that you stop the allowance but you fail again, dont you know that this action will affect health care negatively. Your people are currently fighting Pharmacists, trying to prevent them from having a post graduate college, you a medical doctor told pharmacists that they should only do masters and Ph.D and not fellowship that you will not allow that(lol),your stupied organization NMA even wrote communiqué in national daily saying that they will not allow others to be consultants and that it is only medical officers that can be consultants, what a way to show gross ignorance.Your NARD fought Radiographers from starting their Ph.D because you don't want them to answer doctor, but you failed ,don't you know that such training will make them better for the patients, yet you fought them and failed, your NARD fought pharmacist from doing their Pharm.D and you still failed, dont you know that this will help them to treat patients better yet you fought them. The fight between you and med lab science is legendary and was it not in Nigeria that a medical dr was made Director of Medical laboratory services in UCH,it failed because other health care workers said they will go on strike. In one state in south south an ophthalmologist was made the chairman of the state's oral health care even with so called consultants dentists around.I feel that Your training is deceiving you to believe you are the head.Head of what? yet when issues come you blame govt.did you ask how our health care was when Hospital administrators ran our hospitals.see what your people did in National health bill and think they will succeed. Thank God this is not military regime so if the bill is even passed in it bad way ,then court will render it useless, some bills have gone that way.you want to grow but don't want others to grow, you want to head, but don't want others to head. You call others support staff and call your self the head, you are ignorant. if only your head, eye or leg is growing without other part growing with it,you will turn to a monster, that is what we are seeing now in our health system and people been paid for going to school feel we should give them our common wealth hook line and sinker to train only themselves but not also others. Its o obvious all u do is read the papers and fail to analyse things or interact with intelects in the area of expertise...why would a pharmacist want to start prescribing drugs..(Not done anywhere in the world)..buh na werrin dem one do for naija...why, to prove say dem dey...why would a radiographer say he wants to be a consultant...in wat...or nurse be a consultant..doin wat?...show me where its done anywhere...No1 is stopping any1 from progressing...I bet u won't allow the sso called consultant Nurse operate on u...this is very simple and clear..knowing their duties and boundaries....left to me, I wouldn't mind the pulling thru with all dbills sef.....cos it seems Nigerians only learn thru experience...all the best |
ikennahill: when my dad died in ,medical drs in government hospital where he died do not know what killed him. My snr bros an architect instructed I do autopsy on him, I did it in 2 different govt hospitals with so called consultant pathologists only for them to give me two different reports which was also different from what the so called medical dr wrote on his death certificate. Three different diagnosis for one man as cause of death.wow ! 9ja wonder! how will they learn when they are using their time to fight others from growing and forget that he who hold somebody on the floor is also on the floorThank God u have an experience ursef..here u are yabbing the doctors...well I don't know where the autopsy was carried out...but I bet it with u that na what the doctor see hin go put...Nigerian doctors rack brain like computers looking for solutions..that's the level of what the training offers for now...Maybe if There had been proper things put in place, proabably they would have gotten the true cause of death...or he might not have died in the 1st instance...I will say...thank God it was ur grandpops nd not some1 younger...cos doctor go just write as usaul..."Using bla bla bla available at my disposal...the diagnosis is gbim..." I laff in german to ignorant Nigerians |
Typical scenerio....UR grandma..(Make I use her cos she's old already) gets rushed to a southafrican hosp...after having a heart attack....Gbam she enters...gbam nusrse wheel am in...gbam she goes in for CT scan...gbam cosultants review nd feels she would benefit from clot removal from the heart...an interventional radiologist is called...comes in...uses CT guided scope with a cadiothoracic surgeon gets the clot out in max 15mins....2days afta granma is on her way home to see her grand kids... Nigeria...Granma shows...Gbam nurse no dey to attend cos she's attending to another patient(buh they won't complaincos dey lick the govt butt)...no CTscan...no MRI....no interventional radiologist..(Like 2 or 3 in d whole naija)....so as mama dey enta...the poor Medical officer on duty go just ask...how old ( 87yrs)......"She don try naaa".....make we set line give normal saline..( For hin mind...mama dongo already...) Now I hope u know this can happen to a 40-50yr old..C. Rice in d US had a clot removed last year from her heart...if na naija...she's a gonner...a lot of our loved ones are still supposedto be alive today if the govt had invested more in infractstructure....well sha...I guesss onemight not be able to convince a lay man xcept he enta Px shoes small..deen u will cause our leaders with ur bossoms...orur manhood... |
omonnakoda: There are different models in different countries.Government does not have to intervene particularly in a capitalist country where doctors can complete their training and elope. What return has Nigeria got on the 1000s of doctors it trained who are now in the US and UKLie....u need to say the pay Slip of matrons...nd stop yarning jargons here... |
ikennahill: very childish postWell I don't blame u...by the way, do u use a private or a public hospital...? Nd I certainly pray our loved ones don't fall into needing standard basic medical service. God help us all... |
omonnakoda: Typical arrogance of the ignorant and unexposed Nigerian doctor. Many people go to Hospital and have nothing to do with doctors; Immunization,Antenatal clinics,Physiotherapy,Speech Therapy,Psychology,Counselling,Occupational therapy the list goes on. Doctors are agitating for the government to pay for their training .Why should government do this ? Do they pay for training for pilots, engineers, accountant?,Bankers lawyers etc. Is there any obligation after the training for the doctors to serve the government ? The answer is a big NO!! The doctors in training NARD are paid salaries which together with on call allowances make them the highest paid government employees. They are the ones that should pay government for their training!!,Obviously u don't understand wat the residency training is allabout...so go and read about it...during residency training...a doctor is employed nd he works actively..infact doing more work than is expected of him...nd he's just being paid for the services rendered...if there is no training...medical officers would stillbe employed..(Who are not in training..) Nd will be paid much more than d residents in training...meanwhile...doctors pay for exams...seminars courses...part 1 exam is 100k...so I ask u...do u think u not ignorant now... |
the planmaker: Doctors are self centered and materialistic, their only motivation is money. what hapened to the hippocrates oath? this constant strike only shows that you are putting money ahead of human life. for crying out loud , graduate nurses are denied internship, but nurses have not gone on strikeI tire for u ooo...1. Nurses were never on any internship programme before hand...it was a recent proposal which should have been eargerly welcomed buh denied by the goverment...they choose to allow the situation of nigeria worsen...(I hope u know..half of the the nurses in graduating in the country are leaving...well I gues the nurses choose to keep quiet and let the health ish in Nigeria go worse |
I tire for pple ooo....dem go just siddon for house dey make useless comments...u need to take a walk to some hospitals to know how bad the situation is...recently, I heard UCH had to go on strike for the to employ residents...(For instance, in paediatrics...where at least their should be 12 resident doctors..had 1 b4 the strike...) Nd UCH is a very busy center...now am sure some idiots will say it was wrong for d doctors to go on strike jusst because they were fighting for better services...I tire for ignorant Nigerians |
The other health care professionals...are cowards to be...nd they are ass lickers...jeez, they prefer to sit and watch the doctors do most fight alone...an ave doc will not take thrash...bold..trained to be independent ...nd takes life saving decisions...with this at the back of his mind...if the government brings any uselsess policies affect doctors output...they kick... |
I believe pple shud start opening their eyes to see nd not blinded by the unboastful fact that doctors are the most paid in the health sector. B4 nko...who's's supposed to be the most paid...are they not the head of the team. Well, the fight isnot not just doctors by the way...its for the patients and the health sector as a whole....for God's sakes, if the residency trainingprogramme is well funded. OJB won't be flyin abroad for kidney transplant...the whole of Ogn state can't boast of a single MRI machine...this is basic care the pple reequire... |
Ajekpako: First you have to format the external hard disk to Fat32 format, then plug and copy from there to the ps3 console. make sure the one already in d game console is completely removedWhere do I get the copy I will later recopy back to the console..(Copy on d hard disk)...? |
Ajekpako: i had the same problem when i was playing that game. it keeps freezing in d exact same spot. had to delete the game and transfered back to the ps3 using an external hard disk formatted to FAT instead of the network cable i used earlier. that fixed the problemI have an external hard disk...how will I g about doin dis..make I just plug copy, delete from PS3 den copy back? |
