Literature / Re: Competent Writers Needed For Long Term Engagement (pay N3 Per Word) by Tunjasko(m): 10:14pm On May 05, 2021
On the off chance that you ask a great number of people whether they might want to be viewed as a champ or a failure in life, they would likely give a definite response that they want to be a champion. In any case, this makes one wonder, "How can we define winning in life settings?" In some settings, it is very easy to define a real champion. In a b-ball game, whoever gets the most points at the end of every match is the winner. In a game of hearts, my most preferred card game, whoever has the lowest point when one of the competitors attain 100 points is considered as the winner.

But, in the game of life, it isn’t easy to decide a clear winner, is it? And this is due to the fact that people have different perspective to winning. For some, they viewed winning as the accumulation of wealth or material possessions. “He is a successful guy, a real winner,” they say. Others believe that winning is the number of years you spend on earth. Still others term winning as having their body in perfect condition. Some say it is to have a peaceful and cheerful family. Some say it is to enjoy their favorite hobbies.

These are fine, all by themselves. But...

I might want to urge us to view winning or achievement in a different perspective.

Generally, individuals consider winning as the over-accomplishment in a specific, chosen location. I disagree to this fact and believe that to genuinely win at life is not to overachieve in one area but rather to succeed in maintaining the standard in various areas.

Permit me to repeat that: To genuinely win, to be a winner is not to overachieve in one area, but rather to keep maintaining the standard in all aspect of our life.

For instance, can we consider someone who loses his family but earn millions of dollars a success? Can we describe someone as a success if they garner popularity and fame but have no loved ones? Truth be told, they may end up being frustrated for the rest of their lives.

First, Define
So the primary thing we should do is characterize what we will consider "winning in life." As you contemplate about this, I might want to prescribe that you concentrate on three major areas: Body, Soul, and Spirit.
The body is that which has the genuine link to the physical world and would include physical wellbeing, financial health, family, work, and relationships. How is your wellbeing? How are your funds? Are your relationships, both with your loved ones and others cordial and friendly? Are you satisfied with your work? How can you define winning in these major areas?

The next thing to consider is the soul, which manages the feelings, will, and brains. It encompasses our ideas, thoughts and attitudes. Are you emotionally balanced? Are you able to act according to your will? Are you developing intellectually? Are you sure that you have the right mentality? Can you give the right definition to winning in these areas?

And the spirit can be described as a spiritual entity, the piece of us that communicate with God. Zig Ziglar stated, "Money will buy me a house, but not a home; a bed, but not a good night's sleep." This is a true fact. Inner peace originates from something much deeper. Have you contemplated about going back to your spiritual foundations? Are you able to invest time to pray, meditate and think properly? This is a very important area and people often overlook it. What are the things to achieve in this area? Can you give the right definition to winning in these areas?

As we try to balance things in these areas, we will be more satisfied with our accomplishments than if we were to succeed in one area but ended up losing in other areas. The creator designed us to work as balanced, consistent individuals. That is why we get to the end point and we declare, "I won."

Second, Prioritize
Once you are able to define your goals and targets in each of these areas, you have to make them your top priority, and let other, take off all other non-important areas. Focus on building up a well-detailed plan to come out successfully in these areas. Exercise your will. Select. Dwight D. Eisenhower stated, "The history of free men is written not by chance, but by choice--their choice."

When we create a well-detailed plan, time and schedule, we are simply making the right choice as regards our needs. For most, they focus mainly on the top priority. For the individuals who focus mainly on succeeding, they focus mainly on what they plan to achieve, create a plan and take the rest off the charts.

Last, Do it

Okay, you now understand the meaning of accomplishment. You have made a well-detailed plan and strategize accurately. Now, this is the crucial part: Doing it. This is the place we need to work alone. We have to undertake this step all alone, but endeavor to have a written plan to help you meet your target. Rather than saying that this is your new life goals for the rest of your lives, utilize the next week to adjust to the changes. If you consider one week as too long to adjust, simply concentrate on today. Invest some time even if it is small to improve your lives in these areas. Engage in a little exercise. Take up a book and read, it will help challenge your mind. Manage your feelings. Invest time in solitude periods to revitalize your spirit. Spend time with your spouse and kids. Will Rogers stated, "Even if you're on the right track, you won't get anywhere if you're standing still." You must push for a change.

As we do this continuously, and balance our life settings, we will start to feel as if we are succeeding and making progress. That will be a great experience, as well as the process!

Use the CRS tool to simulate what your score will likely be - https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

With your BSc, 3 years experience and a good IELTS score (8777/LRWS), you will most likely get a lower score.

With an MSc degree, 3 years work experience and good IELTS score, you will get a higher score, and the chances of you getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency is increased.

If you don’t want to get an MSc degree and you sure that you can pass the French exam (TEF), in addition to the IELTS exam, the chances of getting an ITA is greatly increased.

Thanks for this

It is dishonourable to say of oneself that- “we are most honourable “!

Why didn't PDP respect zoning arrangement in 2016 by presenting a candidate from the same senatorial district as the incumbent as at that time? I am referring to Mimiko and Jegede, PDP 2016

You can't stop anyone from contesting on the basis of zonal arrangement

It will be excellent if the guy will win. In this case, you might be aiding Akeredolu's second term. It is automatic for the south after this round. No other zone will even contest against the south.

You cannot make this case. What if the parties decide to go for someone in the Central Senatorial district? or even the north where the present governor hails from? This is politics and you can't rule anything out

At the local govt level he will remove any chairman that does not cooperate and put a loyal acting chairman, that used to be oshiomoles style when he was gov, abeg forget, ambode was just a coward period. Atleast fight, if you lose you lose.

I am sure he would have explored all options and decided to toe the line of the party. Maybe things would have been different, maybe not. I know that the empire will crumble one day because nothing lasts forever.

He should have tried bro. Built on his goodwill. Jagaban's political enemies would have used him to break his political structure into tiny piece.

The House of Assembly would have impeached him in less than 2 weeks thereby ending up losing in both ends.

My NNPC RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCE

I was heavily pregnant awaiting my due date, I got a pop up notification from a job site I had signed up to, I was like nah, Naija govt. undecidedwell lemme see what they're up to this time, I created an account with the career portal and the time was counting down 6hours+ to end of application, I already had almost all my documents scanned and on my phone so I followed through the application pretty much swiftly. I was feeling great that I didn't just nudge it aside, besides I didn't even break a sweat applying. AfterwardsI decided to have my scanned documents uploaded to my cloud in case I lost my phone or something, as I went to my files, I discovered I had uploaded thumbnails while applying and not the real documents, wtf! Where did the thumbnails even come from smh! It was a long shot anyways I concluded and forgot all about it.
The following month I delivered (praise be to God!) I was still seriously adjusting to this huge transition (from a young lady to a mom) when outta nowhere I got notification for CBT, damn! these people though, well maybe God and the universe is telling me something! I prepared myself the much my condition allowed me to, took my baby with help from my hubby and a friend to my centre, which was kinda close. I was hella impressed with the level of organisation I met there regardless of the crowd spread across different time schedules. After the test I was eager to go back to my baby, We went home and again I forgot all about it.
Then that fateful morning from nowhere came the invite for interview WHaT!!! These guys might be serious after all, I remember my excitement at seeing that invite. But then I went melancholy as I remembered I had to travel all the way from my state to Abj with my 2months and 2weeks old by road(cos well, we couldn't afford to fly) damn! But my hubby(man like him) Pat me on the shoulder and gave me the much needed encouragement that we will do it(through God who strengthens us).
I got myself ready and we embarked on that journey two days before my interview day to allow us(especially my baby) settle in properly.
Ps. This was my first time in the capital and mahn! the roads are out of this country! shocked
We got to the towers on that day like two hours before my time(well I like to be thorough wink) I spent a good chunk of that time looking at my baby and envisaging all the ways her life would be better than mine if I got this job!(a girl's allowed to fantasize cool).
It was time, we got ushered in and once more the organization was a notch better than the CBT's. However we spent so much time at the auditorium where we waited for an usher designated to our panel to come get us, at this stage we had spent 2hours+ in there, I was mad worried about my baby whom I had on an exclusive breastfeeding plan plus we hadn't spent this much time apart before(separation anxiety kicked in hard), eventually candidates for my panel were called and we were ushered up by the nice young lady (she tipped us to expect the HSE question how to ensure your safety in a work environment, nice of her though unethical) just as we came up and the panel was done with the interviewee inside, they all stepped outside where the panel chairman introduced himself and told us that they were leaving for lunch break, damn! My baby must be wailing by now cry. I thought to myself, I put a call through to my hubby who tried to assure me all was well with them( I knew him well enough to hear through his white lies) God! undecided
Finally they returned after an hour+ but I still had three more people to go before me. My interview started with a hitch as my mind and heart weren't in that complex anymore, I fumbled with my first question which was course related but the rest of if the four questions I think I did pretty well in, even managed to throw a sarcasm somewhere in-between that had us all share a laugh and hugely calm my nerves.
At the end, I dedicated that interview to my little one who in my opinion bore the most brunt of it and handed it over to God.

Been to a couple of interviews afterwards but always got knocked out because I have an infant at hand and they don't want compromise. But I'm still positive and grateful for the journey thus far, my little one is few months shy of one year and we're still at it. We praise God! we move! grin grin

God bless your baby!!!
