While this action of Gov Bago is commendable, I wish the table and the Consequential adjustment is done with regards to the current reality. Most of the salary structure tables drafted by this States are nothing to write home about.

Selling Fresh corn at the farm can be profitable and less stressful. I'm a practicing farmer..I farmed an acre this year..I planted oba super6 gotten at 2400/2kg..if not some maize that I planted 2per hole that one only came out, I will have not less than 21k plants on an acre. My land is fertile and I only spent on tilling, seeds and chemicals at a maximum of 110k. If I sold at 50 per cob, I will make good money even if my plant population is 15k(which is even more)..I'm planning to plant in August for a 2nd time which I will dry..people saying you should dry dont consider having to get d machine for shelling and everything involved...it's cos its ur 1st time cos if i plant an hectare im definitely smiling even selling at #50per cob..get ur plant population right and watch those women or better still be the one to harvest for them and count...FRESH CORN IS PROFITABLE!!..some farmers dont evn get more than a tonne of dry maize on an acre..which is 850k now..if you have 20k plants on your acre at #50 per cob you still make good money without drying and shelling and you get to plant in August again

I salute you Farmcom' Farmer Comrade. How can I go about this issue of population. This has been affecting my maize farm. Btw, I do plant manually.

If you are (or if you know anyone who is) highly interested in agriculture (whatever type - but prefarably cocoa, rubber, palm oil, diary, or similar high value agro products), kindly invite them to this thread. They should say what they are currently doing, provide pictures of their farm if possible, and say why they need investment in their business.

2) I am not interested in funding an already established company or corporation.
3) My target is young entrepreneurial Nigerians with interest in agriculture.

For the feeding of the birds to maturity, I will need 24 bags of feeds

LOL I post price as it is. If you are in the business you know it's currently 520 per bunch and even less for smaller sizes.

If you are not milling yourself, there's a possibility you'd buy higher depending on your bargain power.

One thing I do is updating price to help people make better decisions

Best time is usually March, April and May. This year looks different.
We observing the injection of old cash back into the economy! Most fruit sellers never wanted transfers and those who had cash during the scarcity bought oil even at 10k. It's back to 16 -18k currently. Just follow updates here
