There is no union for insurance workers, especially insurance brokerage firms.......

There is a wild trend of insurance brokers owners treating their staffs like house mice for over 20 years. The management of this companies like paying meagre groundnut, denying due promotion and don't increase salaries.

Man mountain & co ltd is one of them. They have not promoted or increased staff salary for over 12 years. The staffs have been on one spot for years and have nothing after almost 10 years of service.
The chairman is very greedy & wicked and uses all sorts of excuses not to pay staff salaries mean while he loots the company's revenue for his personal use, travelling, new gf, buying new jeeps/suv, houses etc. He is a self centered ungrateful, narcissist and controls the MD like a puppet. The MD is not any better and forces staff to close at 7:00pm and very abusive. They change driver every 2 months because most of the drivers resign angrily after been maltreated. The company also has a very crafty policy of stealing staff salaries, deducting up to 12% - 30% in the name of punishment for lateness, and other frivolous excuses.

Another menace is Carrier insurance brokers, with a tyrant woman in charge. She is also greedy, materialistic and a hedonist. They like to withhold staff salary, PFA, abuse staff and like paying groundnut meagre salaries after making huge profit.

There are many other insurance broker firms that are worse than the two earlier mentioned above. Most of all this acrimony is that these insurance broker firms take staff like there property.
They make sure they block staff from working in insurance underwriting companies by threatening not to give them businesses

Scib & Man Mountain are very good at ensuring their staff don't move to underwriting firms. The MD threatens them not to take their staffs and the underwriting companies deny qualified underwriters job position in the name of fear of not getting businesses ...........

Big insurance underwriting companies like Zenith General insurance, Custodian & Allied Insurance, Unitrust insurance, Mutual Benefits Assurance, Sterling Assurance, Linkage Assurance, AIICO, Nem insurance etc are all guilty of denying qualified underwriters all in the name that they are from broker firms that give them businesses.

This issue is a case that NAICOM should take as a priority as the careers of this underwriters who work in this trifling broker firms are in jeopardy.

Its better all these trifling insurance broker firms employ secondary school leavers to work for them or better still their own children than wasting the time of qualified underwriters with good years of experience.............

Those hopeless one man businesses controlled by some old lizards will definitely find excuses not to pay staff salaries .........
As if they were paying and treating staff very well before. Its time for one to discard working for useless trifling companies that have no value..........

That's what you get when you employ incompetent people based on nepotism & favoritism.................... useless immigration civil service !!!!!

Rwanda is a far more progressive nation than Nig .........

What type of cancer was that? Even with the symptoms you've talked about, I can't tell which exactly.

She was indeed a great woman...............

It was breast cancer. It started as a lump but later grew and spread slowly till it got to the lungs.
It caused chronic cough and slowed down breathing.

These stories of loved ones passing away from cancer has left me feeling depressed this evening.

My mum is also battling cancer of the breast, and I'm super worried. I don't want to lose her.

She keeps loosing weight everyday, and she's so lean and obviously battling an illness. Is this one of the side effects of cancer?

Please shed more lights and give more tips and advice for others to learn. I'm sorry for your loss guys.

My mom passed on while on a brief family visit in the USA.................She was having chronic cough, tight heavy breathing and lost a lot of weight before she left. She was admitted on boxing day 26th Dec and passed on 31st Dec.
The american doctor said it had spread to her lungs & she had a slim chance but offered her chemo & radiotherapy. She fought them and rejected it. She held her faith and believed that she was ready to rest in the lord.
I would have stopped her from travelling if i knew it would escalate, so that at least she would have been with me and the family.
Years earlier she also believed soley in the lord, natural & organic fruit therapy which i will say kept her till 55 yrs. She didn't want to go through any surgery or chemo as she described it as buying time in pain, even when she was having chronic cough.
She slept in the lord peacefully at 12:06 p.m USA time / 6:06 p:m Nigerian time few hours before 2019.
Its well, she left a good legacy.
She stood by the lord, prayed and also went on natural & organic fruit therapy. She always told me that if we eat right we will not have all these chronic illness !!

My mom was at Stage 3b and it progressed rapidly.. The only help that was rendered to us at UCH was palliative care, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.. We were to start physiotherapy 3 days before her death... Honestly, we spent a lot for her treatment but still she didn't make it.. May God rest their souls.. Amen

I lost my dear mum to breast cancer last year 31st December, 2018.
She said she didn't want to go through any pain and declined chemo or radiotherapy, she slept in the lord peacefully without any pain.
Cancer must be fought even harder than ebola, hiv and polio. Its a very slow invasive demon that lives and grows with the body.

One man business owners are very trifling, greedy and worthless. They like to make sure thier staff don't make progress in life..........
Its best to just learn little experience from them and in the main time get a better Job...........
They are not good career builders
