As an atheist, I know first hand that religion is part of the reason most of these girls remain un married till well past their prime and when they notice they don't get the christian prince charming pastor said he saw in the dream, they settle for one low life underachiever they see every sunday during service who ends up being their worst nightmare. Of course, that's not to say this is the case in every scenario but I've seen this happen more than twice as well as in my own life. In my case, I've met two girls I've wanted to be serious with, one from NL here actually. Every single box was ticked, she came across as level headed, she admired my ambition (your boy was dead broke then but man I had dreams - things have changed now), but when it came to religion, she was a thoroughbred. This idea that people can't live decent lives based on morally structured principles without belief in a spiritual being is a huge problem when it comes to choosing life parts because OP here is suggested just that. She knew I wasn't irresponsible but the whole 'yoked with an unbeliever' thing kept cropping up.. it was a sad end to what might have been a solid union. She's still husband hunting and I hope she finds someone decent but knowing me and what I had in mind for us, i know she missed out there because of something so pointless. Moral of the story: I wouldn't advise my sister to push someone away because they are not born again. There are tons of much more important qualities to look out for before choosing someone based on what was written ages ago. |
All i can say is I feel so so sorry for gay people that have had the misfortune of being born in africa. I used to to be a homophobe growing up in naija. I had a few friends that had feminine mannerisms that we would always make fun of but even none of us knew this whole gay thing was actually real. My views have since changed from that though. It simply doesn't make sense that someone would willingly put themselves in harms way because of sex. I know consensus won't change over this matter in this generation but I hope it does eventually. I would feel miserable too if someone told me I couldn't sleep with a woman..hmm imagine..just kuku remove the rod carry go. Lets learn to live and let live. |
wtf is this? ![]() |
man, if only you could see the smile on my face. Much respect bro, this is the kind of hustle spirit we need in nija to turn this ugly situation around. This is just the beginning man, keep it up bro. Cheers. |
lol a mod is having fun tonight, I remember this making the homepage a while back.. Make una no worry, when I fall in naija na single file, I'll do my part by marrying five. Every woman must provide a bottle of burantashi before I begin 'work' because servicing five women no be yam ![]() If we don't take drastic steps like these to help our women, who go do am? |

Hmm..I'm inclined to say love doesn't exist because as someone mentioned above, it all boils down to compatibility. You have to be able to deal with the persons sh1t to be with them. girls will go for whoever ticks the most boxes of what sits in their heads as the ideal guy, same goes for guys. Sad reality really, considering every girl or every guy (I know I am), is pretty stoked on the concept of love; finding someone that accepts you for who you are but the reality is you are just two people that can deal with each others sh1t. 'cos when the belly butterflies die and you stop getting wet every time you think of him. what keeps you together isn't some warm fuzzy feeling but it simply isn't there, it's coming to terms with the fact that he ain't that bad afterall, he may fart in his sleep - which you hate so much amongst other physical/character flaws, but he has a fairly decent job and there's probably a bright future ahead, etc...that ladies is what true love is - compatibility! |
girls that can't spell properly are a huge turn off. ![]() |
wordsbase: Godless society; Anarchy looming. First it was stopping prayers said in schools and public places. Then their entertainment industry made a push to censor "God", Jesus etc on screen; and now this... Hmm... If some one tells me the great conspiracy is a farce, and that the US isn't linked up with the illuminati or free masons in anyway, or that the desire to rule the world is beyond political considerations, then, that person can as well make me believe that Jonathan isn't Nigeria's president. ** I didn't make this comment to get responses from atheists or atheist apologetics. Pls expect no replies.Yh, and look at your wonderful godful society. |
Nigerians and their backwardness..2014 and some people still come up with sh1t like this ![]() |

Haydez01: I'm a yoruba guy serving in Benin, most benin words are yoruba words that has different meaning and/or spelling variations. If you know history, oranmiyan found benin so stop claiming those words as benin wordscome, which of the words there come from yoruba land abeg? And that claim about edo people coming from yoruba is debatable. |
wrote gce once in ss2, flopped like a bastard, wrote waec, didn't even bother checking the result, my visa comot so I bail from Naija. Came to the UK and became the smartest kid in my college wtf lol. I don't understand how we have a tougher educational scheme set up in Naija but our professionals don't stand a chance with the oines the western world are producing. Although I should point out that I had better guidance when I moved here and soon realised I had a gift in the creative field which is way more respected here than back home. |

MachineX: Turlthere are two ways to go about that: 1; going over the image with shapes to create a cartoon look and using the original image as a backdrop. 2; actually redrawing an image from scratch with the original one being used as a reference. The easiest option would be number 1. It's not something I do to be honest but I can show you how to go about it. not that my results will be top notch. Post an image here and I'll use it. Cheers. |

Chinaimporter: If by west african,u mean indigineous ones like ijaw..non but if you mean migrant ones like the igbos the yes.cast iron was discovered by the igbos around 2500bc .The true origin of the igbos lies in the sumerian city of ur near the site on ancient babylonia.the igbos establist the ubaid dynasty headed by the great igbo king meshanepada who built a ziggurat in honor of the great god nnanna(also called nanna in sumerian and sin in akkadian) who asked the igbos to migrate to other part of the world to spread civilization in the then young world. Igbos then invented the first alphabet called the cuneiform and left babylon under an igbo family called the Akadians who where the ancestors of modern arabs,Ethiopians and jews through a former sheperd of igbo orign called abraham.*Sigh*..here we go |

actually let me answer the questions set for men but before then let me first say I don't subscribe to anything the bible says. My definition of submission is when two parties come to an understanding that one has to take the lead while the other supports. It doesn't have to be gender specific but in my case, I get to be the head! There. 1. Why do you believe submission is the recipe for long-term recipe success? Hierarchy brings structure. We are all better off knowing where we stand in a relationship. 2. What is it you believe to be the key benefits of submitting for the female? 3. What does submitting to her husband bring to the woman and her life? Same question to me - Submission isn't gender specific so to answer your question, I'll say if both parties involved are on the same page, you are less likely to experience issues except for when authority is being abused. If you slap your wife around because she submits then you're an arsehole. if as a woman, you take pride in the fact that you are the supporting structure in a relationship then I don't see how that's a bad thing. Fulfilment in knowing you can keep a happy home. People have been doing it. They don't have five heads. 4. Why do some men label a woman a 'Single, Bitter Man-Hating Lesbian' when she shows she has a mind of her own, and will not hesitate to criticize negative, male attitudes and behaviors toward women, and refuse to submit to male authority? You said it there yourself "some men". I love a woman that can think for herself and don't have a problem being corrected. However, if I've stressed to carry on after even after an objection, I'd rather have it done my way. 5. Why do some men view a non-submissive woman as an attack on their manhood and pride? hmm.. can't say, it's not something anybody wants really..male or female. 6. Why do some men abuse and cheat on women who are totally and biblically submissive to them? Not all men, If anything, a man/woman is more likely to look outside when the woman/man at home is just being a nightmare. 7. How would you feel if a woman leaves you, taking the kid/s with her, because she is fed up with your heavy-handed, domineering, controlling, dictatorial, abusive, power-drunk ways - all in the name of "Woman, you must submit, because the Bible said so!"? Can't blame her for that one..who says that? 8. Why do some single men think women should categorically submit to men? Because of hierarchy. we were brought up understanding we will get to run families someday. I will be the captain of my ship, so if I point it in a direction, I don't expect another person to come yank the controls from my hand 9. Why do some men physically threaten, physically abuse, threaten to take the children away and/or leave women who don't submit to them? Such men need to have their balls chopped off. For those who want to leave the women who won't submit to them abeg free them. Why do I have to settle for someone that can't understand a simple concept when there are loads of girls out there that do? 10. Why do some men choose to ignore the whole concept of submission, preferring instead to work together with their women to do whatever is necessary to benefit the household as a whole, rather than adopting a "What I say goes!" mentality, and in return reap the benefits of a happy home and happy children? lol I love how you paint pictures with words. Why else does a man have a family if not to ensure a fulfilled life for those that are part of the family unit? Oh, so the unsubmissive wife is the one that guarantees a happy family right? Ultimately, the family as a whole is the utmost priority and all decisions should be made based on this fact! |
Kai..I feel sorry for the girls that buy into this nonsense. One Buzu comes out of nowhere and tells you "you can't submit to your man." and you wear trousers and start screaming "girl power"..especially in Naija. Look up divorce rates in countries where this feminism crap is prevalent and you'll see why it's not the way to go in marriage. You simply can't have two captains on a ship. I know of a couple where the girl runs the show. My boy pipes down when she starts screaming and cussing and I trowey face 'cos it's none of my business but my point is, it works. They both understand someone has to step down for the other more often than not. Anybody expecting to go into a relationship, let alone a marriage and is expecting equality in everything is setting himself/herself up for failure and disappointment. You'll either change your perspective down the road or leave. It's that simple! Someone has to run the show, has to be the one that says "I don't want that!" and see things change. Some people will get power drunk, of course, some leaders will lead the family down the wrong path, again, that's also true. The fact is though, there is no equality in marriage! It can't work, it won't work..most definitely not in Africa. |
simpleseyi: While Allah, Mohammed and his followers were doing all that you listed above, what was your god, his son Chisos, and his messenger called holy spirit doing? Just looking and watching their followers molested, maimed and killed? What a caring god you worship. Even the god of iron and the god of thunder will not watch their followers humiliated and killed. The god of iron and thunder watched our ancestors get shipped off into slave ships in a single file and did fvck all...#justSaying Religion will continue to be Africa's biggest problem!!! |
