lol, no way that guy is straight. He just doenst want to come out the closet |
Promhize: Even Americans hate them more than we do, they deserve no sympathy from us. They are a beastly peoplebros, Churchill was British. @OP - It's a shame that even a country like India gets to treat our people like this. No I'm not talking that patriotic giant of Africa nonsense a lot of you are saying, I'm talking of a country with a huge stake in our country. A country that is still considered a third world country by many. Nigeria isn't a developed country where chaos can be easily controlled (sh1t even the UK police had a hard time controlling their riots few years back). If things turn sour and boys start acting up, we'll do way more damage than they do to us over there. I saw the video of the guy being bloodied in public by random people. Was so pissed I had to turn it off. Na to just arrange igbo for strong men..when everybody eye red finish, fall in kofo abayomi for VI (I think that's where their consulate is) and reenact scenes from that argo movie. Dem papa. |
hmm..if I fold her finish ehn..well..I just pray it never happens. I really do. |
Nehemiah459: Whereever Don Jazzy/Mavin records is called... Haters must surface.Preach!!! |
Don't have any problems with gay people whatsoever. I should point out though that a lot of you thinking it's all perfection outside the shores of naija because you're gay are very misinformed. They're still homophobes in every corner of the world - developed or not. |
Magic Bishop: Trust me. No straight dude will pretend to be gay for a second.lol look at this man. you never jam desperado |
naijadiva6: http://www.yeoal.com/2013/11/tweetfightyvonne-jegede-says-she-is.htmlsmh...the things i'd do to you... |
speedyboi: Wande coal is just being a Nigerian! Typical....I trust their foreign counterparts, Wandecoal wouldve been swimming in 100 million dollar lawsuit by nowword! |
lol..when I finally got the concept of oyster cards..I cussed our naija govt for denying us many basic things. The thought that people have just one life to live and they're stuck in a country like naija is depressing. |
No bueno! |
Nice one man..nice to see someone schooling people on RWD..I'll keep an eye on this. If I had to suggest anything though i'd say you should've approached it from a mobile-first angle. That's the best way especially for the African demographic that have limited access to bandwidth. Nice one all the same brah! Keep it up. |
its a shame that a lot of 'web designers' in nigeria can't produce polished work to international standard. Then again clients come here and want to pay 10 naira for quality and expect all the bells and whistles. You get what you pay for really. I only feel bad for the guy that pays the big bucks to a charlatan. A lot of you still need to put in work. |
hilaryiwens05: Website Features:If it's responsive, screen size or device shouldn't matter. |
vivacious vivi: My bodynot looking bad from what I see. @OP my nystagmus..sometimes anyway..used to be teased about it as a kid but it ended up being the reason I've made a lot positive moves in my life, career-wise and whatnot. |
so here it goes. In this tut, I'll be showing you how to: 1. Put two separate images together and 2. Blend them to look natural. Difficulty: Beginner Estimated time: 45 mins - 1hr tops. Weapon of choice: Adobe Photoshop CS6 NB This was a bit of rush job so sorry if it doesn't look polished. Only did this to try to explain most of the questions you guys ask here. I have the original files and will be using it as a template for explaining things in the future. Here we go 1 https://i.imgur.com/r1dsftj.jpg We've got a pic of cherries on one document. 2 https://i.imgur.com/kCtCX1b.jpg On another document we've got a pic of peaches. 3 https://i.imgur.com/EL3np4u.jpg We'll be focusing on these three peaches here. The idea is to somehow move them to the cherry document to add to the composition. 4 https://i.imgur.com/JDck9jq.jpg So at this point I grab my 'pen' tool,(shortcut 'p') as that is what I'll be using for cutting out the images. 5. https://i.imgur.com/LDySe0u.jpg I set the mode to 'path'. What this means is I'm telling photoshop to make the pen tool work as a path creator only i.e you want to use it to outline something that needs to be selected. You'll understand better further down. 6. https://i.imgur.com/GO4kH8L.jpg I then start working my way round the images I'd like to cut out. To learn how to use the pen tool consider looking up 'photoshop pen tool beginner tutorials', watch out for a site called 'psd tuts'. 7. https://i.imgur.com/QBwAcFB.jpg I've created my shape round the peaches and am now ready to change the path to a selection and then to move it to the other document. 8. https://i.imgur.com/REvr71X.jpg Still with the pen tool active, I right-click inside the canvas and chose the 'Make Selection' option which opens a window that asks you to set the feathering and a few other things.I hit the 'enter' key and ended up with the following: 9. https://i.imgur.com/TREpDWz.jpg They call that line 'marching ants' for obvious reasons. At this point, we have a fine selection round our image (thanks to the precision of the pen tool). So I hit the good ol' 'Ctrl + C' (Cmd + C for Mac users) to copy the selection. 10. https://i.imgur.com/vHTOe5j.jpg Switched over to the cherry psd and pasted the document with; 'Ctrl + V' (Cmd + V for Mac users). 11 https://i.imgur.com/CpPpNhS.jpg I then positioned it as you see it on the image by flipping the image horizontally; 'Ctrl + T' (Cmd + T for Mac users) and chose the 'Flip Horizontal' option. I also scaled it proportionately by holding down the 'Shift' key and dragging one of the corners. The shift key ensures everything grows or shrinks equally. 12 https://i.imgur.com/g710e0R.jpg I'm trying to make it look like the peach is behind the cherries so I've reduced the opacity so I can cut the shapes of the things in front, mask the shapes out and create the illusion that the peach is indeed behind. To alter the opacity, look at the panel I clicked above to show the slider I then dragged to reduce the layers visibility 13 https://i.imgur.com/MHCJ0gH.jpg I used the same pen tool I used earlier and pretty much did the same thing. 14 https://i.imgur.com/gsRPFT5.jpg Repeated the same thing here to shape out the stem of the cherry as that needs to be in front too. now with all these shapes outlined, I changed them to selections (remember the marching ants?) and then masked them out. The mask button can be found here: https://i.imgur.com/NdAU3sj.jpg NB: That screenshot was actually meant for another step but it does show the mask button at the bottom of the layer panel. 15 https://i.imgur.com/Gt4JZG1.jpg and this is what I ended up with after masking out the selection. So I thought I'd go an extra mile and add some shadows and also use that opportunity to explain masking in more detail.. 16 https://i.imgur.com/OkVUGOJ.jpg That right there is a shape drawn with the pen tool (not a path but a shape). The idea is simple; I'll build a dark shape around the area I want the shadow to reach. Ideally, this should take more than one shape to recreate the several shadows cast by different light sources hitting the peaches but this is just for demonstration purposes so scratch that. When I build that shape as you see above, I then click the mask button while holding down the 'alt' key. ===== I'll go off on a tangent here and explain masks as detailed as I can because I see a lot of tuts on here and some creatives still use the eraser tool, thats a big no no! Feel free to scroll through to the point where I have this line drawn up again to continue with the tut==================================================================================================== Now here's the thing about masks; By definition, masks are used to hide things from plain view and the same concept applies here. Think of a mask as an eraser that you can undo easily. You apply a mask to a layer, use a brush and select either colour black (to hide or erase stuff) or white (to show stuff), then you simply brush away the part of the masked image you don't want and if you realise you've made a mistake, simply switch to a white brush and paint it back on..That's it in a nutshell. I've explained with screenshots below: You have your layer panel: a https://i.imgur.com/QukryXO.jpg all layers are arranged on top of each other and are seen that way on the canvas/viewing pane (whatever you wanna call it).. b https://i.imgur.com/7Sp2NNb.jpg ..and as mentioned earlier, here's the mask button.. c https://i.imgur.com/GFTHHxA.jpg when a layer is active, and you click that button, it attaches a mask to the layer. Now if you look carefully, you'll see four outlines surrounding the mask. That's photoshop telling you that the mask is what you'll be editing if you do anything to that layer. To switch to the main image, you'll have to click it on the panel and you should see the white lines on the main image thumbnail. d https://i.imgur.com/cuk2ENU.jpg Select the brush tool and right-click inside the canvas area to see the brush options. Choose what suits the purpose and chack to see that the mask is active before you start brushing away. e https://i.imgur.com/7uaL55x.jpg Set your opacity to suit your purpose. The 40% you see here combined with a soft brush makes for a smooth finish, reduce opacity for a more controlled application. f https://i.imgur.com/Ohh6rVn.jpg ok so 3 things: 1. Notice the two colours on the colour tool? Black and White. Like I said, black to hide and white to show. 2. See how I've masked part of this pic? The white background is what you see under the pic. 3. Notice how the mask now looks partly dark? Those are the areas that have been masked away and to undo that I can simply switch to a white brush and paint things back on ![]() ..So that's masks 101. It has many uses which I might touch in future tutorials(if I can get myself to do them). ======Back to the main tut================================================================================= In holding down the alt key when activating the mask, It comes as its inverted color (from white to black) so instead of having to brush things off, I have to brush them on. (remember the black white concept I explained earlier?..yh, its black, so it hides everything, now I have to use a white brush to bring things into view). 17 https://i.imgur.com/GZiqkHO.jpg Looking at the mask, you can see its dark, and I'm selecting a soft round brush (which will be white) to slowly brush in the shades. 18 https://i.imgur.com/Hartfjg.jpg You can see how things are starting to take shape. ![]() 19 https://i.imgur.com/lhYAWVb.jpg Could be improved but you can tell how easy it is to put these things together. That's it folks. Feel free to ask questions and I'll try explain if I can. Please reference the shots in question with their numbers so I can find them easily and answer you. I hope with this tut, I've done enough to answer the following: BERNIMOORE: kindly show me how to 1,merge picture together, and remove features from one picture and fix to another pictureIn using the pen tool, you can cut out smooth copies of what you want and move them with the move tool. Same way I cut out the peaches and copied them to another document entirely. yungbeef: ya I tink I got it. Hw wld u knw a soft brush and also chng d colors? Wldnt mind if u hlpd me with d screenshot tutorial. Jst finishd understndin all d blur functions. Nt bad for sm1 dat jst strtd 2wiks ago. LolThe brush tool was explained in the tut as well as the colour selector. I don't think I touched on that a lot though.. but I think you should have a handle on the that now. The colour selection that is. Thanks for your time and patience. It's all about learning from each other. |
unmask: nobody seems to get the point.....guys don't and can't cheat, only ladies can do that...sarcasm? |
was so pissed..damn near chocked her till she croaked (until I remember say na abroad I dey..make dem no ship me go back )..lost all respect for her that day..we broke up, she begged, we moved on. She tried to re-ignite things but it just wasn't there any more. That's the problem with dating beautiful girls..the competition from different guys is crazy..moving on..I'm not into relationships now..haven't dated anyone since then, just casual things is all. It's a nice feeling to be loved but when things turn sour its sucks ass_. |
yungbeef: I hv a photshop questn? I jst added two pics 2geda in d same frame, hw cn I blend d images together in d same backgrnd so dat it looks as natural as possible. I knw it hs smtin 2 do with layermask. I cnt seem to remove d line dat shws d pic ws actually joined. Any help?Hi, (I'll go ahead and assume you know your way around the interface but correct me if I'm wrong and I'll re-explain) yh you're right about layer masks. when you've applied your mask, grab a soft round brush and set opacity to somewhere around 30%. Set the brush colour to black and brush away the line you want to get rid of. Let me know if that wasn't clear enough and I'll try explaining with screen shots. |
lol we both had one thing in mind..'twas fun while it lasted. |
slicreports: as a novice, how can ilearn photoshop? what version shud istart with? whats the different been cs5,cs6 and photoshop7?only difference is increased performance and capabilities as the versions go up. Start off by getting yourself familiar with any version and just work your way up from there. There're loads of materials online. Youtube was where I started. It helps to see how fast the tutor navigates the interface and what they click. It's so much fun once you get to a comfy level where you can take on bigger challenges and what not. Get to work mate. Goodluck! |
Archmage: anyhelp on how to do that? You'd have to buy the package. Unless you want to go the torrent route - which I'm not endorsing, just pointing out. You can get a cracked version of a torrent site but this isn't legal. |
Sweetlemon: Lol! See some of you 24/7 online introverts forming bad boys! heheheheheheYou talk all that one finish, you no put your picture make we see. You harsh o! ![]() @OP - I hardly ever made the list as most of the class captains were made close friends for that very reason. This one time though I transferred from air force secondary school to methodist boys high school in VI. Our economics teacher (a usually calm guy) walked in and started writing notes. We took the piss (knowing the kinda person we thought he was) and started talking. Lo and behold, this man turns round and says 'everybody sleep!'..Belle just begin turn me. He started from the first guy on the first row and worked his way down the whole class. What's worse was that you could hear how close he was to you but couldn't raise your head. See beating that day lol. Memories man.. |
Sad thread. Death is inevitable, we must make the best of whatever time we have people. Cherish the little moments because nobody knows when they'll go. |
justwise: I can bet my last dollar that most of you commenting on this bond issue know little or nothing about it, inventing what in the UK while on visiting visa?lol so true. bandwagon thins.. It's not like they're taking your money from you or anything. |
Wow, Richard Branson himself said that?..Good one on basket. Virgin is known to push the envelope when it comes to business. |
Can't blame them really. If immigration continues the way it has been, the UK will only grow worse than it already is. |
ge best: It is just unfortunate dat at d END tins ll no longer go according to TIME until all d evil THINGS are wiped out. Equal to END TIME THINGS.fail...try again! |
Elvisten10: all you need to know to achieve this is HTML FORM, PHP $_GET OR $_POST VARIABLES (ARRAY) AND PROBABLY THE PHP MAIL() FUNCTION. You write the html form and put the contact php script name as the value for the action attribute, then you get the submitted data with the $_GET or $_POST variables and probably send it to your mail using the mail function.Thought I would also be needing to add some database info. Guess I need to read up the whole tut. I got frustrated after the codes just stopped making sense and gave up. Thanks. |
Archmage: I want to make my cs6 to become extended version so that i can use 3d and motion features. Any help? You have to upgrade to the cs6 extended package mate. |
I dont get why people 'like' posts like these on fb. RIP to his mum, its a fate that no one can escape . |
Seun, please get this thing ready pronto abeg. I appreciate your calm responses and that seems to be the only thing keeping people at bay to be honest, but I must confess it's hard to believe you didn't include this from get go. I was personally forced to open up a new ID for this very reason. Hope it gets sorted soon. |
