CrimeDecomposed Body Of Kidnapped Former FUTA VC Found Inside Own Compound In Akure by Tushed(op): 6:11pm On Jun 28, 2015
The decomposed body of the kidnapped former Vice-Chancellor of the ‎Federal University of Technology (FUTA), in Ondo state,  Prof. Albert Ilemobade has been found, a Saharareporters correspondent in Akure reported.

Decomposing Body Of Former FUTA VC Found In His Home

Prof. Ilemobade's  ‎body was found dead on Sunday afternoon at "an abandoned store" inside his compound at ilaje street, Ijapo Estate in Akure, the state capital.

The store, a small isolated room outside the building of the compound is where cables are kept, our correspondent reports.

‎An Anglican Bishop and close friend to the family, Stephen Ayo-Fagbami told a Saharareporters correspondent inside the compound that Prof. Ilemobade's dead body was found "rotten" at at the early hours of Sunday morning.

Ayo-fagbemi said the decomposed body of the kidnapped Futa Ex-Vice Chancellor had already been deposited at the state hospital morgue.

"Prof. Ilemobade's remain was found this morning inside this place (putting at the store) and had already rotten. This is a sad development to the family.

"The Police has arrested two persons in connection with the incident and I believe the investigation would commence immediately".

‎A Police source who spoke under the condition of anonymity also confirmed to a Saharareporters correspondent that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime.

According to the Police source, the gateman of the deceased believed to have been kidnapped was part of the arrested suspects.

"You reported that his gateman was kidnapped alongside with him, but it was him (gateman) that organized for killing the Prof.", said a fierce looking Police officer.

A close source to the family told a Saharareporters correspondent that Prof. Ilemobade might have been killed because he just bought a new vehicle.

"Papa bought a vehicle just of recent and since then we have gotten information that they want to steal that vehicle from him.

"Earlier this year, he was trailed by some unknown persons who want to forcefully snatched his vehicle from him, but he escaped. I think it was that vehicle that they wanted to sell

"I can't imagine that our gateman was even the brain behind this sad event. Papa like this gateman to the extent that he takes him as his son. Now he (gateman) has been arrested and currently with the Police", the source added.

It was gathered that the vehicle was recovered from Ogun state by security officials.

MIMIKO who have lost credibility at home was imposed on Jimoh Ibrahim and Olusola Oke and others and Jonathan finished Ondo PDP

The emergence of Omisore as guber candidate in Osun too made PDP fail to win in Osun. As far as I'm concerned Engineer Rauf has no reason not to be paying salaries any more!
PoliticsThe Beauty Of Democracy. by Tushed(op): 8:20am On Apr 05, 2015
If you are elected, you're employed by the people to serve them, based on trust. If and when you get to the office you started serving yourself; your ambitions and pocket, the people reserve the right to sack you. This is the beauty of democracy.
There is no short cut. Democracy is the government of the people,by the people FOR the PEOPLE! Anything short of that will resort to what we are getting today.
Whereas, as of today only prayers and repentance can sustain their excellencies in their offices...

PoliticsLest My Excellency Renege On His Oath. by Tushed(op):
I want to refer the attention of His Excellency Governor Mimiko to the above subject matter. Your Excellency, excellence is a moving target. Personally if not because I don’t praise people for doing what they are employed to, and are being more than adequately compensated to do, I would have commended you for the putative good jobs you are doing.
I would have distanced myself from being concerned because Nature has a way of auto-adjusting deliberate human distortion of orders, but I do want to awaken you sir, lest you renege on the oath you swore to Ondo State people and God.Your Excellency sir, in February 2009 in your inaugural speech after being administered with the oath of office by the then state's Chief Judge, Justice Gladys Olateru-Olagbegi, some three minutes after same was administered on your Deputy, Alhaji Alli Olagunju Olanusi, you told the mammoth crowd that "I will be the governor of the entire people of Ondo State," and added that the machinery of governance would be overhauled.
You said you will ‘work for us.’
Sir, you are the sixth civilian governor of Ondo State and the 16th helmsman of this 38-year-old state. Nepotism had never been this worse in the history of this State. There are twenty one Ministries in Ondo State and there are eighteen local governments and there are hundreds of towns in Ondo State with millions of talents. You are the executive governor of the State; your erudite immediate younger brother is the Vice-Chancellor of the Adekunle Ajasin University, the state’s star higher institution of learning. The commissioners of Finance and Health are from your home town. Sir the head of service, Barrister Toyin Akinkuotu; your kinsman has six of his seniors in the civil service serving under him. Supposing for some reason you do want him as your HOS which is not out of place, you have to find a way of retiring his seniors. The best method should be to “settle” them out.
Upon the HOS’s assumption of office he immediately posted all the permanent secretaries from your hometown to ‘juicy’ MDAs, save for the sacred OSOPADEC. On nepotism in the state’s MDAs, I can go on and on but will deliberately withhold some data because of posterity. Meanwhile let God touch and torch your heart sir, to review on these, lest you renege on your Oath.
There are infrastructural developments going on sir; if I may digress, but our debt positions keeps deepening. Sir in terms of politics you understand the Art of Holding Power. In fact your type is rare amongst the politicians that have lived on this planet as per the Skills of Politics. Sir, in my own opinion and with due respect, you are not as skilled in State Economics and Resources Management as in Politics.
On the lean purse of the state I learnt a University of Medical Science is to be established in your home town. I am very sure sir, that you have conceived the idea for a while now, going by your body language. In fact I can view from my spirit that you may want to name the College after you [?]. Ondo is the only state in the South west that produces oil as of now. We need a teaching hospital sir, because we don’t have one and not because we have been rated as the state with the least healthy citizen in the region. Don’t get this twisted sir; the university may just be to quench the yearnings of our ego.
I as an Ondo person,I humbly implored that we should make the school a College of Medicine under OSUSTECH and drop our reckless financial high horse. Prudency.
As of now the legislatures cannot check you. They are your puppet [a political arrangement that gives peace of mind]. I give kudos to you for starving them of the wherewithal for independent discretion. Check and balance in the state successfully zeroed. But you can be self guided.
Be that as it may, the system auto-adjusts itself and clears itself of any ‘ebola’ executive brings during their tenure. For example, where is the University of Education Ikere-Ekiti? Was Kogi State University not formerly called Prince Abubakar Audu University? Didn’t President GEJ change the name of Unilag? Did it work? I can go on and on…
Sir, the system will auto-correct itself. Our biased and ‘nepotic’ appointments, situation of infrastructure and awards of contracts to favour ones kinsmen and friends will be naturally leveled with time.
My main concern sir is your oath. Twice, you have sworn in the presence of God and the good people of Ondo State that you will ‘work for us’. If we check the road networks in Akoko region for instance, and juxtapose it with what you are doing in and for your town, Ondo, one will assume that the swearings were just formalities. Since the promises and the ensuing actions are at disparity, I take it upon myself to sensitize you my Excellency. You still have two years de jure to spend in the office or less [?]. Straightly sir, in less than twenty months to today [oh my goodness how time flies], I will be addressing someone else My Excellency. Meanwhile sir we still some 11,520 hours for you to use your good office to share the ‘dividends ‘of democracy round the State, lest you renege on your oath.
Over and out sir.
