Like I said, it doesn't work the way it appears.

Using the bolded part of your message, it used to cost me 200 naira to get to Lekki from iyana-ipaja. It can as well cost me 500 naira. All I need do is to be at my bus stop by 5a.m, take VI, 150 naira, come down at law school then I'll take Lekki 50 naira. On a bad day, I spend 250 naira.

So bro, no one who earns 30K will spend 400 naira to Ikoyi from iyana-ipaja. It's all about knowing how to cut cost.

There will always be a way to cut transportation cost. One just has to figure it out.
sorry to ask wen last did u go from iyana ipaja to vi because yesterday thou it was in the afternoon the price was 700naira but i doubt u can get a bus presently going from iyana ipaja to vi at 150. Even from iyana ipaja to ikeja along presently is 100naira
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can I Survive With 50k Job In Lagos? by tuzle(m): 10:53pm On Dec 23, 2015
rationalmind:
This isn't true neither is it close to being true. Ibeju-Lekki to iyana oworo cannot be more than 400. Iyana oworo to Ketu can't be more than 100 naira. That's maximum of a thousand naira per day.

There's a way these things work. OP wakes early, he gets a direct vehicle to ketu and pays 200 naira. More so, It's equally possible a staff stays around him which will ease t fare.

OP, I'll strongly suggest you take it and start from somewhere. I personally know someone who stays at iyana-ipaja, works at Ikoyi, and his salary isn't up to 30K.

Congrats on your new job.
guy i dont belive it i stay at ayobo and work at yaba and i spend almost 700 per day on transportation and i leave my house as early as 5am. calculate dat for amount for month. and from iyana ipaja to ikoyi should be about 400. from ajah(awoyaya) to ketu with just 50k as salary is like commiting suicide but if he decides to take brt or it will help alot but taking public transport oboy.

Health › Negative Effects Of Alcohol by tuzle(op): 1:39am On Nov 29, 2015
Drinking too much – on a single occasion or
over time – can take a serious toll on your
health. Here’s how alcohol can affect your
body: Brain: Alcohol interferes with the brain’s
communication pathways, and can affect the
way the brain looks and works. These
disruptions can change mood and behavior,
and make it harder to think clearly and move
with coordination. Heart: Drinking a lot over a long time or too much on a
single occasion can damage the heart, causing
problems including: Cardiomyopathy – Stretching and drooping of
heart muscle Arrhythmias – Irregular heart beat Stroke High blood pressure Research also shows that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol may protect healthy adults from developing coronary heart disease. Liver: Heavy drinking takes a toll on the liver, and
can lead to a variety of problems and liver
inflammations including: Steatosis, or fatty liver Alcoholic hepatitis Fibrosis Cirrhosis Pancreas: Alcohol causes the pancreas to produce toxic
substances that can eventually lead to
pancreatitis, a dangerous inflammation and
swelling of the blood vessels in the pancreas
that prevents proper digestion. Cancer: Drinking too much alcohol can increase your
risk of developing certain cancers, including
cancers of the: Mouth Esophagus Throat Liver Breast Immune System: Drinking too much can weaken your immune
system, making your body a much easier
target for disease. Chronic drinkers are more
liable to contract diseases like pneumonia and
tuberculosis than people who do not drink too
much. Drinking a lot on a single occasion slows your body’s ability to ward off infections
– even up to 24 hours after getting drunk.

Health › Benefit Of Alcohol To The Body by tuzle(op): 12:28am On Nov 29, 2015
Getting wasted every weekend might not be
the best thing for your physical or mental well-
being, but moderate alcohol consumption may
have some substantial health benefits. It
should be noted that alcohol consumption and
its benefits vary based on an individual's body makeup and type. According to the Dietary Guidelines for
Americans, "moderate alcohol consumption is
defined as having up to one drink per day for
women and up to two drinks per day for men.
This definition is referring to the amount
consumed on any single day and is not intended as an average over several days." Now, we've all heard the reasons why alcohol
is bad for you, but what about the benefits?
Here is our list of seven ways that drinking
alcohol in moderation (when you're of the legal
drinking age of course) might benefit your
health. 1. It Can Lower Your Risk Of
Cardiovascular Disease The School of Public Health at Harvard
University found that "moderate amounts of alcohol raises levels of high-density lipoprotein,
HDL, or 'good' chole
