You totally failed to tackle the questions but just sidestepped them. Not a single Old Testament prophet ever taught about the Trinity, and you didn’t provide any evidence to the contrary.
Here' an Old Testament reference for you. Not necessariiy because you gainsaid, but for anyone who truly wants revelation. God is real and Hs name is not allah. Hs name is Yahweh, The I am That I am. Come to Christ and be saved.

Isaiah 48:16 - “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.”

These are "throwaway" footsoldiers. We want the names of the capos, the dons, the high ranking state officials, the customary rulers and sectarian leaders behind this state-sponsored bloodshed.

The Fula plan to take Nigeria as their ethnosectarian caliphate is too obvious to ignore. In fact, it's just a resumption of the Battle of Osogbo and other wars - the Uthman Dan Fodio jihad - temporarily ended in the 1800 by Yoruba warriors led by Oderinlo. You see, with the ROP, it is not over until they win - or you do.

In different forms and guises it is marauding through the whole world. The Nigerian experience is just one facet. It's the same spirit agitating in Europe, the same malevolence rampaging through the UK and the same evil rearing it's head in the US.

BAT is weak, compromised and complicit. Having traded his venal ambition for his cultural heritage and his tribal birth-right. Hamstrung by his adherence to the ROP, and hence subjection to the "invaders". He lacks the political will, the heart or the understanding to act.

Save yourselves - come to Christ, the time is near. Non-ROPer Nigerians, if you want to be able to stand as a polity or even individual nations, without uniting, in the first instance, your cause is lost without soon coming outside intervention - and maybe even with it.

You see, the sponsors names will soon be writ large - either when they are victorious or when they are vanquished.

I wish all god-fearing and peace-loving peoples the best.

This world is not as lineal as you naively assume.
Jews have always been the greatest allies to Muslims and same Jews will tell you they prefer being under Islamic rule than under Christian rule.

Do you know the country with the third highest Jewish population outside Israel and the US?
Iran.
There are an estimated 150,000 to 250,000 Jews in Iran.
Both of these statements are totally incorrect.

Even if the Jews consider Muslims as "allies", the Islamic text abhors Jews and commands death upon both Jews and Chritians. Further Muslims are clearly instructed not to take Jews or Christians as friends or allies.

And the estimate supplied of Jews in Iran shocked? Just stop already. Was that an honest error, a lie or, are you shilling? Iran has less than 9,000 Jews. A drop of over 90% from pre-1948 levels. The same applies to literally all the ME nations.

Please sir, you can do better!

The ANC’s legacy is complicated.....not purely heroic, not purely disastrous( unlike what your friend RodgersAkpafu wanted to portray because the ANC is a more Black SA party) grin. The ANC did a lot of foundational good:
Expanded the infrastructure, access to water, electricity, housing, and social grants for millions.Stabilized and diversified the economy post-1994 (SA had massive debt, sanctions, and isolation before).Built institutions (Constitutional Court, Chapter 9 bodies) that remain strong despite political pressure. Grew the biggest middle class in Africa. Turned SA into a middle income country with the highest number of dollar millionaires on the continent ( coming from across racial lines this time ) etc

These achievements materially improved daily life for the majority of South Africans.

And yet, the ANC has also damaged the country:
State capture, corruption, patronage networks.Collapse of some SOEs .Decline in state capacity.Growing inequality, unemployment, crime, mass migration into the country( lack of border control).A leadership culture where some feel entitled to rule instead of being accountable.

I guess it's a normal cycle for liberation movements globally. They often struggle in long-term governance and we are witnessing this in SA with the ANC .

South Africans can simultaneously hold two truths:
1. The ANC uplifted millions after apartheid and made South Africa the place to be and a good place develop your career and family.
2. The ANC of today has failed to maintain it's own progress. So this is why millions want them gone. We are greatful for the good, but cannot stomach the current mess that looks to have no ending .
Thank you.

I am not close enough to comment assuredly on SA either way. However, from what I have seen repeated severally, if the sum culture of the black majority\leadership does not naturally lend itself to building a modern democratic state, it simply won't happen.

Point 2. above does not bode well - patronage, corruption? And exactly how will SA "get them gone". And, will their replacements be any better? Yes, being in opposition and ruling are entirely different things. Being the victims of injustice and then being given the reigns of power will soon show how virtuous you really are.

Is a nation, spiralling downward, is it stable or, is it on an upward trajectory? Do the citizenry have the history, the tradition, the vision and the collective will to build a functioning and prosperous commonwealth?

All the best to the Rainbow nation - you sound optimistic and I sincerely wish your nation well. Stay well away from the ROP. I hear they are making in-roads.

IslamRe: Is The Qurʾān A Clarification Of Everything? by TV01(m): 10:35pm On Nov 30, 2025
honesttalk21:
Pardon my intrusion please and I hope to not comment again regardless of our degree of agreement. Your analogy of “Seegobeism” is certainly imaginative, but it falls apart when we really dig into the core claim. The real question isn’t whether a later religion references earlier texts as every Abrahamic faith does that. The crux of the matter is whether the Qur’an, which presents itself as a comprehensive clarification, genuinely clarifies or fundamentally alters previous revelations.

That’s why labeling Christianity as merely a copy of the Torah misses the mark. A copy conceals its origins; Christianity, on the other hand, embraces the Hebrew Scriptures openly, keeping the names, places, and ancestral narratives intact. It builds upon them rather than reinventing the wheel. That’s continuity, not plagiarism.

Your photocopy analogy also misses the point. If I take your response and pass it off as my own, that’s indeed copying. But if I acknowledge your answer as yours and then craft a new argument from it, that’s not plagiarism it’s engagement. That’s precisely what Christianity does with the Torah.

Now, let’s come back to Islam. The Qur’an doesn’t position itself as a new religion or a sequel; it asserts that it confirms and clarifies earlier revelations. So, the real debate isn’t about borrowing ideas; it’s about consistency. Does the Qur’an’s retelling of earlier stories genuinely clarify them, or does it stray from the very texts it references?

Once we frame the question this way, the Seegobe analogy no longer fits. Your analogy suggests a complete reinvention, while the Qur’an claims continuity. Therefore, the real discussion revolves around whether that continuity holds up under scrutiny. Thank you.
Very well stated.

Can the Islamic claim of continuity be verified? Does it hold up to scrutiny. Christianity accept the Law and the Prophets wholesale - unabridged, unexpurgated. Christianity is the unfolding revelation of God's plan for humanity, starting with the Jews, but extending to all nations. Christianity is the "fulfilment - prophetically confirmed and historically verified. Hallelujyah!

What are Islam's bona fides?

Somalia just discovered one of the biggest oil and gas finds through a Turkish oil exploration firm this same 2025 that would propel that country to economic success. Many Somalis are gearing up to go back home to take advantage of investment opportunities that will emerge from the huge crude oil and gas discovery. This would also bring in some extra income for them in their war against the insidious Jihadi gang called Al-Shabab

So, the Somalis in Minnesota State have a plan B for them even if this current POTUS decides to deport them to Somalia.
At all. There is nothing to suggest Somalia will do better with oil wealth than Nigeria has done. In fact, it will do even worse, as it has more ROP.
The cultural and civilisational morés of the country will out.

A people with no tradition or history of development won't suddenly develop if or when they stumble upon riches. The former leader of Nigeria Jack Gowon once said "Money is not Nigeria' problem, it's what to spend it on" he was regrettably right, in the worst possible way.

A country doesn't have to be wealthy or even that industrialised to function half-decently. Not only will the money not develop them, it will make them worse. Reference Nigeria again.

Real nation builders never seek recourse to a plan B. That's not the mindset of builders.

Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by TV01(m):
Hello Peeps and happy Sunday grin. Just popped in to deliver the "Sunday Sermon" and, given what appears to be raging up in here and my bent for the polemic and to tackle the "tough topics", todays message will ask the question "are there bible verses that defend slavery?"

In future expositions I will - God willing - touch on "political investedness" and "the view from above". Unless of course I lose interest, find other things occupying my time or, find the general slopey-headedness of some of the contributions to painful to bear grin. So to wit.

Firstly, let me be bold to say this, no one can read and understand the Christian message and claim it mandates, encourages, supports, or celebrates slavery. To do so, one has to present with one or several of a combination of, ignorance, animus, indoctrination or sheer laziness

Congregants, please open your bibles, no don't, first let me explain by asking a question.

Please, could anyone tell us how the itinerant and persecuted apostle Paul who was essentially the lone apostle to the gentiles, who had no political authority, no army, no social standing or public platform, nothing more than subsistence funding at best, and barely a handful of followers, tackle the universal scourge of slavery?

And please bear in mind, he would be doing this in a milieu, where slavery was and had been extant worldwide, practised by literally all cultures, and across almost all nations (including "white" people and nations for those whose only or, primary lens is colour). At the time of Christianity’s nascent beginning, the Romans ruled and slavery was legal and socially acceptable.

While I wait for you answers, let me tell you mine cool.

A slave who simply decided he was no longer a slave or to run away, due to his new found religious belief, or for any reason, could be summarily executed or, suffer any number of barbaric punishments meted out by his master.

So, what should the apostle Paul have done? His prescription - a 2-pronged approach - makes absolute sense, speaking to both slaves and slave owners and is summed as follows;

To those enslaved - Be a good servant or slave, for you are now Christ’s freeman, whatever your earthly circumstances. If you can obtain your freedom (which could happen via faithful service) then do so

1 Corinthians 7:21-23 Were you called while a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use it. For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave. You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

Ephesians 6:5 "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as to Christ;"

Colossians 3:22 "Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord."

To slave-owners - Paul then writes the epistle to Philemon, a slave-owner who has converted to Christianity. In this epistle, he writes to Philemon regards his runaway slave Onesimus, asking that Philemon forgives and receives him as a brother not a slave, setting him free. But not by compulsion or command, which he could have done as an apostle of the faith, but out of love and the transformed nature which Christianity imbues.

I await rebuttals and\or answers in response to the earlier poser above.

So no, Christianity does not celebrate, support, demand or mandate slavery. It is actually at the opposite extreme. Spiritually, Christ came to set us free from the bondage of sin, which engenders the pathological behaviour which chattel slavery forms a part.

The Son came to set the captives free - to release those held in bondage. To give sight t the blind and to lead those in darkness into His glorious light.

As rightfully noted, only Christians fought wars to end slavery - against European and Arab nations. The abolitionist movement was Christian inspired and driven. How on earth can one with a functioning brain and the ability to give considered thought to topics, decide that Christians fought and died to end a practice the bible defends huh Or conclude that mention of a thing is a defence of that thing huhShudders lipsrsealed.

As well as slavery, Christianity rid societies of literally all the main pathologies. From child-labour, underage and forced marriage, subjugation of women and a host of others. Which is why most of you flee to societies that are foundationally - even if no more - Christian. And not Karachi, and not Mogadishu cool. Also introducing welfare and healthcare schemes... I could go on.

A simple search of the bible lexicon using terms like "slavery" and "bondage" and this would fall out all to easy. Like I said lazy, ignorant, hateful and brainwashed.

Come to Christ and be saved, get freedom, enlightenment and delivery from that which enslaves you. Jesus is Lord.

A start, but it' is reactive and does not go far enough to eliminate the threat posed by the ROP.

The spirit that animates the ROP will not desist as long as it is present - period! Piecemeal outlawing and banning will ultimately be futile. They will simply reform and take on a different guises and look for different routes to engage in what is essentially Gee Hard.

And, be clear, Gee Hard is every action that can be taken to advance the ROP. Open warfare is just the tip of the iceberg. There is that and there are also the "softer" and more pernicious forms, inter-alia, journalistic and social media, political, investment, academic (tertiary donations), charitable, protest marches, activism and campaigns. And of course proselytising. Day to day, routine and mostly permissable social engagement.

The not so soft forms such as mosque proliferation, street prayer, insistence on halal foods, female covering segregated events, recognition of roper festivals, inclusion in the academic ( primary and secondary curricula) and others.

The harder forms tend to be further downstream and closer to the endgame. Forced marriage\conversions, g.rape.fruit gangs, attacks on non-roper religious artefacts and buildings - i.e. disrupting worship, church attacks, roper patrols.

Typically all 3 will run in tandem to varying degrees, but the overall push is unrelenting. The soft and not so soft forms need to be met and dealt with the way you would the hard forms -

The ROP will never self-censor or willingly restrain itself. It's an all or nothing scenario, a d-match. If you want it, fine. If you don't want it you must resist - fiercely & unremittingly! Forcibly removing, blocking and preventing all available modalities.

Not that the ROP is or, can do anything of itself. Looking away from "He Who shuts and no one can open and Who opens and no one can shut", leaves your gates wide open. This is all part of wider more broad based spiritual manoeuvring. The end-game is almost ridiculously easy to see. Believers in Christ will be saved from the wrath to come.

I observe with interest.

IslamRe: Islamic Polygamy: Ten Dos And Don'ts! by TV01(m): 8:08pm On Nov 14, 2025
Like a number of ROP positions, polygamy makes little sense.

For a start, there are approx. 100 women born to every 106 men. Polygyny practised wholesale will leave a large cohort of men without their own families to invest in. That is ever so dangerous for societal stability.

Although one can see how that might work if one community of males was consistently offing another and taking their females captives - where do we see that kind of constant war and bloodshed?

It's terrible for family situations. The mistrust, envy, simmering hatred and competitiveness amongst and between wives and children is oft-times unmanageable.

RealLordZeus:
Infact some scholars are of the view that “The most hated of permissible things to Allah is divorce.” and it is generally acceptable among all Muslim Scholars that Divorce is a reprehensible act.
Some scholars said you cannot even say your wife is cheating based on hearsay, it has to be a hard evidence.
That shows that the rules are set to make divorce harder.
Again the inconsistencies and contradictions

1. There is no revelational pronouncement on the legitimacy of scholars. It's basically opinion and is often "opined to suit" with little consensus. Even the hard teeth methodology was strictly forbidden in the core ran but widely deployed?
2. How if divorce is reprehensible is it possible with three repetitions of talaq?
3. You can't assume cheating based on hearsay but you can beat based on suspicion?
4. The core ran says no one can treat 2 wives equally, than permits 4 wives and pronounces an eternal (not temporal) punishment?

Leave me jor!

My point was to clarify and engage, hopefully initiating a proper a discussion and shed light. It would be wrong of me to assume anything about the OPs post.

After clarifying whether mockery had a unique punishment, other than making a believer an unbeliever, and ascertaining what the penalty for being an unbeliever was, I wanted to ask about Mr, Johnson.

Yes, Mr. Boris Johnson, the former leader of the UK Conservative party and erstwhile PM of GB. Mr. Johnson, whom, whilst defending a woman's right to wear the burqa\hijab\niqab etc. stated he felt it made them look like bank robbers or "letter boxes". Additionally what the response to the trend of banning of burqas in several European countries meant in terms of any fatwa.

But granted, and appreciated, you took this quite seriously and understandably so. Henceforth, I'll be more considered with my tongue-in-cheek approach.

Fula army members pass intel to the Fula terrorists
Fula caliphate leadership at best turn a blind eye and there is cause to suspect their involvement, if not wholesale sponsorship
Fula government leaders - up to the president - and religious leaders pursue "rehabilitation", which is questionable at best, but additionally integration of these terrorists within the Nigerian armed forces. Sound like redeployment to me - no?

To even the most undiscerning, does this not suggest a "longer-term ethnoreligious supremacist agenda for the whole country". Anybody? Almost like the Fula plan to complete the 19th century jihad that was repelled at Oshogbo?

What is the make up of the Nigerian Army (and other armed forces). Leadership and the rank and file - is it Fula heavy?

I'm not sure if blanket statements like this are true or helpful.

Please, I know there is pressure to instinctively denounce WP and deliver a token nod to their "waycism" - so as not to be labelled a cocoon. And as we all know, if you don’t, in their heads, conversation over, they win.

Please, let’s not. Let’s not be intimidated by the weak and, the feeble, the hateful and the self-loathing. Let’s not feed the insecurities and neuroses of those who need the comfort blanket of victimhood to feel any sense self-esteem or worth. But most of all, let’s not hold WP to a higher standard than we hold others. Let’s not be hypocritical.

You left your countries, you abandoned your homelands. You swapped wholesale governmental malfeasance, deep rooted tribal bigotry and wanton sectarian bloodshed, for more ordered, more benevolent societies.

Amongst a host of other pathologies, mass sectarian slaughter is effectively normalised in your country. Do you call them or it out? Do you name names? You even excuse or cheerlead it.

Much dissembling on the UK immigrant thread – not even being able to call it what it is. But calling out bus drivers and powerless fringe players for waycism demonstrates your bona fides as oh so virtuous and brave.

Please take care around road-sweepers, there’s waycism in that there refuse. Oh, and be extra vigilant around supermarket check-out workers, lest they slip a pack of “30% extra free” waycism in your trolleys unseen. And don’t forget to renew your membership of the “we’ll burn it down if we can’t turn it into a s-hole like our country of origin gang”. Afterall, colonialism, because...waycism. How do you live free expressive lives with that mindset?

Ilhan Omar left war-torn Somalia and rocked up to the good ole’ US of A. Not even a generation in and she’s in the house. Likewise Ayaan Hirsi Ali – wound up in the Dutch Parliament. In most European countries there are ethnic and minority lawmakers.

In the UK we have a number of non-native born sitting as MPs, some openly sectarian. And more interested in diverting our resources to far-flung corners of the globe. Please, which non-white or roper country would permit that?

Of course if you can demonstrate how most WP are waycist and, detail that metric against the waycism of any of demographic, I’d be happy to see it. It would be great if we could show the outworking of waycism in quantifiable terms, and, against the outcomes of other bigotries or prejudices.

Yes, I agree, WP are waycist, but so are you. And in fact, palpably more so. And at least WP for the most part are taking practical steps to redress disparities. BP are viewed as little more than vermin by some in China. You hthink Hay-rabs love and cherish Nabils and Abdis?

Here in the UK, Indian shopkeepers would literally drop your change into your outstretched hand – apparently wary of touching the darkie. I didn’t realise until it was pointed out to me.

Inherent suspicion of the other and wariness around outsiders – especially where cultural and societal practices are markedly different or seen as backward, is human – even if base. And that’s not an excuse – especially if you take steps to ameliorate it.

There is no discussion, if it all boils down to is "WP evil, BP good". Take a snapshot of all the oppression against BP in the world today and see where it emanates from. Perhaps don’t, lest you be disabused.

I mean, let’s at least be fair. WP are waycist, but they are not very good at it are they? Welcoming to asylum seekers, illegal immigrants, a catalogue of official visas, pathways to citizenship, social housing, welfare benefits, DEI coming out of every orifice, programs galore - all of which are routinely abused.

Minorities as presidents, presidential candidates, party leaders, home secretary, foreign secretary, justice minister, lawmakers, blue-chip CEOs. Like BP avail themselves of in Saudi right? Or India. Or China.

We clearly need some of those NG bandits, bigots and politicians up in here – show WP how it’s done. How to keep bigotry real, effective and deadly! Please, what do we want from WP, what exactly is the expectation here? Is there anything BP and other minorities are entitled to that WP are withholding? Kindly reply advising and I’ll get straight onto it.

Thanking you for your attention to this matter

Nope, I am not biased against PKs. They are the largest faction of r-op-ers in the UK and are largely responsible for most of the sectarian ills we see. They form close to 70% of the UK ro-per demographic, and as I mentioned in my earlier post, are a good proxy for ro-pe-rs as a whole.

Yes it is a shameful practice SOME OF THEM do, esp the ones who came from underexposed parts of the country, but it is NOT mainstream as you are painting
As ever, you seek to deflect. FGM is one of a number of a bundle of VAW ills (honour killings, acid attacks, underage marriage, forced marriage bigamy etc.) that emanate from that cultural milieu. With an estimated 10'000 under 15's affected by FGM (many born in the UK and often transported abroad to be mutilated), not to mention the 10's of thousand older women, it's worth taking seriously due to the trauma. - and, it's a criminal offence.

However, there is no gainsaying that there is systematic, industrial scale grapifficking by PK ro-pers. Which is disproportionate to their approx 4% of the population. And due to the clannish, tribal, sectarian nature, the community covers it up. And, it's generational, with dads, sons, uncles, best friends an co-workers all partaking. Let me ask you, how did this persons waycism or bigotry - if we accept your story at face value - affect Rishi or prevent his success. How did the aggregate of all such people, be they bus drivers or bankers prevent any other minorities succeeding? -https://www.nairaland.com/4508641/american-politics-thread-trump-47th/5500#137260751

Yet you prate on about racism, attributing every failing and ascribing all misfortune in minority communities to it. Honing in on individuals who have very little influence over your rise or failure to rise. So, black people are hurting...because, Tommy Robinson, because bus driver. Do you even listen to yourself. How lame, weakling.

So I ask again, what has Tommy Robinson done, what policy has he pursued, what platform does he have that hinders black people or minorities? He knows and has experienced first hand the ro-per menace. His struggle is for this country to maintain its culture and traditions. I'm not going to throw him under the bus. Not because he ran riot as a youth or has a criminal record (don't y'all have a sniffer as a president ).

And yes, I looked up the incident about his misguided retweet. That was wrong, at best a mistake and raises questions. But it is not evidence of him systematically looking to harm black people or minorities.

RodgersAkpafu:
Continue drinking from the kool aid of these fellows that will rather feed their dog than feed u even if u are in dire straits tongue
And here's the rub - your racism. Your arrogant inability to accept that you sought succour from the white-man and hence, the need to turn your internal dissonance outward.

You see, the bus driver didn't necessarily see himself as superior, he saw his society as better. And rightly or wrongly, that's why he was peeved. Why should an Indian take charge of what his people built? You and your people would never accept that would you?

And deep down, you agree, that's why you re-located from your sheet whole and came here to the land of FR waycists. What? to expose and denounce waycism? Oh, you campaigner you, "blacktivist you . Your pathetic attempts to re-position this as debunking a "white not superior to black" trope, is a ruse you sell yourself - if it helps dude!, by all means But not everyone has to swallow it.

You further evidence that by making sly supremacist claims about how the UK is better since mass immigration, how the minorities built the UK. What happened to building back in their native homelands? No bro', you provided mostly cheap, unskilled labour. Not institutions, not law and order, not due process - the real hallmarks of a functioning society. And we can evidence that can't we. Deal with it.

Your whole ish all boils down to “because slavery, because colonialism, because racism. How pathetic, how sorry, spineless and weak. You even go after totally inconsequential, utterly irrelevant bus drivers and fringe characters to prove the point. That ish ain’t building sheeeeeee.

When you are ready to hear why you emanate from, incline too and, can only disseminate sheet-holery, and how to rise above it, tag me for enlightenment.

Really? Not to come across as the "OfPost" on NL , but how can you post this with a straight face? You - and it's not just you - have to be able to do better than this. You claim to work in academia huh Some of your arguments are so poor it's scarce believable.

RodgersAkpafu:
What a load of crap.
You never provide any insight, context or data. The "smear" entry point is typical of you. At least "yab & explain" dude. We are hungry for your insights and weesdom tongue.

RodgersAkpafu:
Britain even before multiculturalism has always had crime, and rot
And so what? Who even claimed otherwise? What was it you ran from undecided? Because GB has crime just like my kids sometimes make me wonder with wastage, breakage and silly impulsive behaviour, does that mean I entertain every, hoodlum, street urchin or even kids of similarly situated families to add to my worries?

Here's a not exhaustive list of some of the "alien" crimes and deleterious behaviours (social mal-adaptions f you prefer) that are being mainstreamed - FGM, honour killings, acid attacks, cousin marriage, bigamy\polygamy. Violence against mainly girls and women, inter-alia industrial scale grape, rampaging stabbings at dance workshops (one of those little girls had 122 entry points. Another was all but decapitated), explosions and mass casualty events at concerts.

I'll park, prison gangs, forced conversions, forced halal, malfeasance in local government, sectarian politics and the push to divert UK resources elsewhere.

Because NG has skull-miners, should we wholesale import Bandits and terrorists? On the basis of this line of thinking, there are no answers to NG' current wave of pogroms from you then. I am actually ashamed for you tongue.

RodgersAkpafu:
are rhe Kray twins science fiction?
No. And again, so what? Back in the day, Oyenusi had a high profile because crimes of the nature he carried out and criminals of his type were relatively rare and considered quite heinous. Now armed robbery is so rampant - small pikin where terrorism dey - only the worst of the worst will get media traction, and even then, only briefly.

Grooming gangs are so rampant and commonplace, that no one individual, gang or even location get's anything more that a passing mention - exacerbated by the blatant cover-up

RodgersAkpafu:
Charles Dickens may be fiction BUT that was the state of Victorian Britain
How bad can you get? How low can you sink?? The obligatory strawman. Who ever claimed it was all good in Victorian GB?

But GB developed, introduced organised policing, granted universal suffrage, eliminated child labour, welfare reforms and healthcare - till today, free at the point of delivery. GB developed or strengthened institutions, implemented well thought-out policies and key, largely adhered to due process. Something you can't actually grasp as demonstrated by your posts. How're your people doing?

RodgersAkpafu:
This narrative that all was good before these "immigrants" came in is just rubbish talk
Because it's not an argument anyone is making...duh! No be just strawman, a whole strawfamily grin

RodgersAkpafu:
Even look at that line
"Tommy might be racist".....
You are even downplaying what is very cogent
Show us one waycist thing he has said or done or, one waycist policy he pushes. And for bonus points show how it harms this country, or it wouldn't be considered patriotism anywhere else.

Yes he hates, the rop, but grew up amongst adherents and has lot's of minority friends, including ropiecers. And more widely, minority support for his cause (ekemefune - insert smear here!). In GB, our rights and freedoms allow us to express ourselves freely. What harm has he done or promulgated against minorities or any faith?

Now to the "rot". In a perfectly good, or even decent society (akin to what I described above - institutions, due process, care for the vulnerable etc.), rot only sets in when you deviate and cease to adhere to the underpinnings. When social trust and cohesion are eroded, when a central, dominant unifying moral theme is gradually diminished.

That is exactly what is happening in GB today. With the influx of less civilised cultural morés and practices as noted. PKs and rop adhrents (given numbers can be used as proxies in GB) have a culture moored in clannishness, tribalism and sectarianism. That does not support multiculturalism - something will have to give.

Don't get me wrong, I believe the rot had started and will increase. Even if GB remains 100% ethnically homogenous. That is essentially due to the move away from it's JudeXtian moorings, which formed the wellspring of it's development, towards ungodly imperatives culminating in wholesale wokeness.

The hollowing out of GB' historical traditions and culture will be devastating, especially if not replaced with something similar or better. And, I do not consider what I see agitating for ascendancy, as of equal cultural worth or societal value. Sorry, not sorry - my position.

I skipped your earlier post bigging up what you consider to be the "PAK Advance" - one can only take so much of your effluence - needed some respite grin. But whilst I'm here.

The PAK aim is not is not a drive for enhanced multiculturism, not a commonwealth ideal (one day if you up your GPA I might school you on how this notion underpins much of what bedevils your native land). It's not to improve things for all. It's to claim it for themselves, to arrogate mastery, to impose their culture and religion on everything and everyone else - tribal, clannish, sectarian.

Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, Africans have all come, prospered, settled in and contributed. And even if it's been in great, small or not so great ways, none has for one second insisted GB change to suit them. And TBH, in a market place of ideas, what the PAK\ROPiecers seek to impose is frankly less civilised and regressive.

See, champion them all you like, but don't for one minute think there is a place of equal esteem for you and your kind if they ever gain the whip hand. They will never be happy with you dating even the least of them, or accept you marrying one of their own - even if you convert.

You are at once cheerleading the decent into shyteholeryof this country and your own second class - strike that, 3rd class - place in it, if a place will be found for you and your likes at all.

Again, I have absolutely no issue with people taking positions, ideological or otherwise, but to blindly parrot, champion and smear in order to defend them, suggests limited cranial capacity, grift or indoctrination.

For that reason and ONLY that reason, I do not wish to argue this point further.

I also thank you for your implied insults.

I do hope you know I have never said black people are not responsible as well.

I will like to end my interaction with you on this issue by simply asking you to watch Richard Attenborough on Climate Change.

Again, thanks for the insults, I am mature enough to deal with them.

Good night.
I'm not buying it. Please back up your assertions with clear cut data - both yourself and budaatum are welcome to do so. Don't attempt to sell an ideological position as truth. Not to say you are not free to take any position you choose.

Against my better judgement - perhaps to afford you due regard - I watched the video. It was effectively a puff-piece. Or at best a retrospective of SDA life and career. Particularly at the BBC and being at the forefront of TV programming\production. Funny how at 18 minutes it narrates a scandal caused by him splicing footage in order to craft a narrative
.
At 24 minutes he finally gets on to his CC narrative. No facts, no data, just assertions. Over time SDA has helped drive a catastrophizers wet dream around CC. Sorry nothing convincing. There was also the now, obligatory dig at Trump and lot's of emoting by a cast of thousands.

SDA is an ideologue. At best he has an activist and a campaigner with an opinion. And, I don’t have to share it. Again, you are free to.

Now, do you have anything to demonstrate an open and shut, 100% waterproof tight, settled science and scientific consensus case for climate change catastrophising smiley.

Wrong on 2 Counts.
Assert all you will.

DeepSight:
1. The interest of the right wing is simply to sustain industrialization at all costs. If they reduce their emissions by saying fifty percent, this discussion is over. Meanwhile they would want poorer countries to war the burden of reducing further, which at the end of the day will mean they cannot produce and equaliser with advanced economies.
Please present data\evidence that a reduction of emissions by 50% (and I working on the basis that by "they", you mean more fully industrialised, i.e. western nations) will eliminate the negative effects of climate change - if any! I don't give a rats arse about the ideological positioning, show the data.

DeepSight:
Please try not to gaslight me over what I know with 100 percent certainty.
Point in question - no one knows with 100% certainty. What you have\are is committed to a position. There is an absence of critical thought. If the ideological position was the opposite, you would argue accordingly. Please present the evidence

DeepSight:
2. I don't know how you mean I and my co travellers managed to make coonery aspirational. You must have mistaken me for someone else, because my entire argument it is the EXACT OPPOSITE. Coonery is clownish. Anyone who has no self respect and simply believes anything a white man says is simply ridiculous.
Again per the bolded undecided. That is a smear. Just because not every black-skinned person subscribes to the notion that the main or major things that have hindered black development are slavery, colonialism (by white people) and even misfortunate such as a being unfortunately placed on the meridian lines grin, doesn't make them "coons", or give you the right to smear them.

One can consider and arrive at the conclusion that there are reasons other than white intervention that has led to limited development in black communities\countries. And one can also take a position that black people are majorly responsible for their own backwardness - without recourse to whatever white people say.

DeepSight:
PS: Pls try to read carefully before accusing anyone of exactly what they are against.
I know exactly what you are for - at least in that instance.

DeepSight:
Thank you.
Please, don't thank me. Just do better. Some of the balderdash I have to read when I am chanced to come up in here. Sheesh!

1. Yes, the climate is changing for the worse and at a faster rate than ever before.

2. Human - anthropogenic - activity is a significant contributor to climate change due to the fact that humans tend to impact the environments with their activities and this warms up the climate.

3. Stop dirtying!

4. At a huge cost. You humans have been polluting the earth ever since your first existence so you have a lot of arrears to make up with interest. But if that's too much, pay what you are charged now.

5. Air. The oxygen you breath. Remember water was once free. A time will come when humans will have to ration breathing because of pay and breath. We will fix meter to your mouth and nose and heart to bill and tax you.
1. Evidence please - what was the historical rate of "worsening"? And exactly how fast is it accelerating?
2. How significant? How much is this human activity contributing to "warming"? What are the attributable effects?
3. Life is messy, as is human advancement - deal with it. Not to say we can't act in a manner to treat our environment with care
4. How much arrears do humans have to make up? How long will it take, how long do humans have?
5. Please. Show me that will happen, if it does, because of a man-made shortage

DeepSight:
Simple.

And I expect TV01 to understand this.
That is half your issue - it's not expectations, it's demands. Not that you have the right to make or have either.

Only id/........ oi/ . . . . . ts like you would think Climate Change is not real.
This is not a particularly helpful statement. It's akin to saying he believes "changing weather" is not a thing.

Yes, the climate changes, nobody disputes that. The questions and debates are around,

1. is the climate changing for the worse (especially long-term and relative to historical patterns)
2. is the climate changing for the worse due to human - anthropogenic - activity
3 if so, what should or, can be done about it
4. and at what cost and to what effect

The science is not settled - as ever. There are lots of well qualified people who demur. And carbon which is fingered as the main culprit, is actually a greening gas, as well as the essence of all life forms.

Your statement - which I have seen evident in much of the discourse here - is , is designed to smear and belittle and typically weakens whatever position your are arguing for.

It was quite painful to read in what I'll describe as the "anti-coonery" discussion. In fact, you and your co-travellers managed to make coonery sound aspirational, such was the weakness of your arguments.

Whether it was Uthman (as many believe) or Abu Bakr, you are acknowledging a "canonization" event. You are thereby confirming that the koran as often claimed by muslims, is not the eternal & unchanged word of god - inscribed on tablets in heaven.

AntiChristian:
He was a companion of the Prophet so he has the authority to correct what he feels was wrong!
Kindly demonstrate where and how anyone other than the "prophet", received or had the authority to decide, what constituted islamic scripture? Are you confirming either of them or any caliph as being rasuul?

Further, how could there be anything "wrong" with text claimed to be the "eternal & unchanging"? Is the assertion not that the islamic gods words cannot be changed?

Do you have any evidence that Uthman ibn Affan was accused of apostasy? Because even in that narration he is quoting the Prophet to prove his innocence, not to justify killing anyone. The rebels who killed him never charged him with disbelief; their grievances were political claims of favoritism, administrative decisions, and wealth disputes, as recorded by al-Tabari and Ibn Kathir. And even then, the hadith he quoted outlines narrow judicial exceptions for state authority, not a license for individuals or mobs to shed blood.
...and anything the prophet of islam says is gospel - forgive the pun - is it not? A not even clever attempt to sell a dummy. Like I said, show me a committed defender of islam...
