Oasis007:I dont think this is the guy we need now, I feel he is a 10 and Pogba/fernandes can fill that role already. someone should feel free to educate me. |
Swissh:whats wrong with this one? |
Oasis007:I can't find Darmian, i hope there is a deal in place for him or he has been told to go and find a club. |
chrisley024:Hopefully from Verbal we can move to Spiritual agreement. August 8th please come quickly. |
Can Someone please explain why we didnt sign Toby Alderweid at a cheaper price?, his release clause expires today. |
Botfuss:who wan buy, jungle don mature. Thats the main issue. |
Chrisus:Newcastle United have no intention of selling Manchester United target Sean Longstaff, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol. The Red Devils have been regularly linked with a move to sign the 21-year-old Newcastle midfielder in the summer tranfer window so far. the question that should follow is that, has longstaff performed optimally over 2 seasons or internationally? |
Bruno Fernandes is unlikely to join Manchester United this summer, Sky Sports News understands. The Sporting Lisbon midfielder has been scouted by United, but he is not one of their priority signings. So who is our priority? |
Leyqute:What of Lukaku? I thought guys here said he is worldclass. Many also believe Rashford is ready because he is on $200k per week. ED Woodward better get 3 to 4 consistent players not necessarily superstars or else it will be a long night for us this season. |
While Madrid is done with most of their signing, This club doesnt seem like signing anybody again this summer, the future seems to depend on the growth of our youngsters. This season will be one long drama as it is. 6th Position may even be hard to come by for us. |
GloryIsaac:Unfortunately ED doesn't dictate the market, in the future the market may correct itself but thats just a probability. We need about 3 to 4 right players, to stay in top 4 for at least 2 to 3 years. If i were ED i will splash the cash and complain later. Barca spent more than £200 million pounds on Dembele and Couthino who didnt turned out the way they wanted but that didnt deter them from going for griezman. |
GloryIsaac:My point is IF and IF the money is needed sell Lukaku and move on. If he is special to solksjaer he will be starting match in, match out. Morata didn't meet Chelsea expectations they've sold him and moved on. I agree the club shouldn't act desperate in buying players but when it comes to selling if the money can be used to get a better fit then sell. If there are no better offers or If the club doesn't need the money then no qualms. The end will always justify the means, Whatever decision is taken by ED should take us out of the 6th position. If we are where we should be clubs wont take us for granted. |
GloryIsaac:The problem is "na ourselves we dey do", Solskjaer sees lukaku as surplus to requirements, he doesnt play to his style. Apart from Inter milan no one wants to sign lukaku for now,why not take 50 to 60 million and sell him? Instead of putting him on the bench for most of the coming seasons? Vendetta and ego trips will only deprive the club in the transfer market. |
Elxandre:Rumor has it that we intend to spend Lukaku's money on him. Thesame way Harry maguire should have had his medicals last week. I even heard no bid has been submitted for Fernandez because of the way his contract is structured with Sporting, and yet the entire world already think he is our player. His agent was touted to have been in London for a month now maybe he has been window shopping . who knows? |
Emnyte:I like your optimism but What are the realities on ground to support this claim? We are still saddled with most of the below average players, preseason drilling cant replace talent. However,If we can get Bruno,Maguire, pepe or aubameyang i will be confident we can compete. |
elrony:Fergie wasnt wrong afterall like many thought. I have said it here let Pogba go ,ask for 140m pounds from whoever is buying. Use that money to buy 1 good CMF and a developing DMF or AMF. In life loyalty should be rated before talent. |
elrony:The man himself is a virus, the club shouldnt have anything to do with him again. |
landmark86:Youve lost all reasoning, the woman spoke her truth, her burden is lifted. Let the man check himself and let other men of God take caution. |
Oasis007:This is good news. This will send an important message to other clubs that we wont be anyone's mugu again. |
CITY WIN MAGUIRE RACE? "Manchester City appear to have beaten Manchester United to the signing of Harry Maguire, reports the Daily Star. The Premier League champions have reportedly pencilled the Leicesterdefender’s medical into the diary ahead of the completion of his £65m move to the Etihad next week. It’s understood the lure of Champions League football, and City’s willingness to match the wages rivals United offered, has persuaded the England international." Skysports Seems potential signings dont want our europa league status. Our poor planning coupled with Ed poor management of transfers have brought us here. Wither United. |
"Tottenham have cooled their interest in Bruno Fernandes despite meeting with his representatives this week, Sky Sports Newsunderstands. Fernandes’ agent reached out to Spurs for the meeting, which happened on Wednesday, but they are reluctant to get involved in a bidding war and it remains unlikely the move will happen." Skysports... |
JayKayMaybachz:He be like say Ed don dey get sense small small,if we package deals like this there may be hope for the club afterall |
MY TAKE ON POGBA In as much as we expect Pogba to respect his contract, keeping him at all cost shows we are weak. In the past no one was above the club, players were allowed to leave if they wanted to leave and that tradition should remain so. Even when Pogba was happy, posting all sorts of hairstyles he isnt guaranteed to be consistent 100% game after game. Imagine if he isnt happy,he will mess up the dressing room. I dont have any issue with Pogba but going public to speak like that doesnt show respect for the club. The fans may never forgive him. This same guy was supported by many against mourhino, but after Mourhino was booted out what did we get from him? I will suggest we sell Pogba for £120million. Use the money to bring in Fernandez, ndidi and rabiot. There is nothing bad about rebuilding from scratch,no one should expect miracles in 1 year. But between 2 to 3 years we can be back at the top depending on the tough decisions we make today. |
Lol, the wailing on this thread though. I wish the board and Ed reads this page often. Maybe they will make better decisions. ![]() |
MRTA7:Lol, Juve will never pay that. If they can drop 100million thats fine, with that we will buy bruno fernandez and james madison. Pogba will be missed though,on a good day he can be the game changer. |
LMDyaya:Its not up to us sir, our board is very confused at the moment. I think some oil sheik needs to buy the club, secondly we need a football director. |
JUVE CHIEF IN LONDON FOR POGBA TALKS Juventus’s Sporting Director Fabio Paratici has travelled to the London offices of Manchester United for face-to-face talks over the potential transfer of Paul Pogba, according to Sky in Italy. Talks are at an early stage, with Juve’s Joao Cancelo understood to be part of negotiations. skysport |
Manchester United are ready to up their offer for Aaron Wan Bissaka to £50m----The sun Is Aaron worth £50 million? Someone who isnt a 1st or 2nd choice for his national team. |
dukie25:How far? Was the election rigged? |
United , its time to Think. Liverpool has done a net transaction of about £150 million pounds over the past 3 years selling deadwoods and building above average players to superstar status. Much of Woodward acquisition seems to have been about quick fixes, commercial gains and not a long term plan to win trophies. Infact, i think we are damned too hard on our current players, None of them forced their way into United, . The ball rests with our Technical advisers and the club managers. If a worker isnt performing in the corporate world he is fired. Liverpool and mancity cleared out unwanted players over 3 seasons but we look clueless in those 3 years chasing marquee signings. Liverpool even sold the overpriced couthino for £150 million and used the money for good purchases. I am happy for Liverpool but i feel sad for my club because it may take about 5 years before we can find winning ways with our current managers. We dont seem to have smelled the coffee. One can only hope that OGS has learnt a lesson or 2 from all these. The lesson for 2019 UCL, You dont need expensive signings to win trophies with 1 or 2 you are fine. |
Where is locodemy? I love the way the guy was championing the Transcorp cause a week ago. Dont let that dissapointment discourage you from speaking here again. We all keep learning about the market daily. |
