Our major problems are Martial and Pogba who allowed their skills to make them feel complacent and sleep on the ball.

They tend to try one or two things in tight places instead of being purposeful. Martial is worse because he plays in a tight area, yet would prefer to play for himself first instead of his team. It was only in the late minutes he started playing quick with his mates.

Lingard cannot trap. Rashford doesn't have sense.

First of all, i dont think anyone here wants Ole to fail. Ole made some statements about players leaving after last season but all we saw were those players getting new contracts. Though i dont believe in Ole sulking but making statements like "I have told the board getting a midfielder and an attacker is crucial to my success" will absolve him from the Yes man tag.

Lukaku have been sold but there were bigger problems in the team than Lukaku. Mata, Lingard,Fred,Matic,Young,Jones,Rojo,Sanches, Darmian should be on their way out by now but Ole keeps smiling sheepishly and talking like a toaster at pressers. Even Rojo of all people was promised a role in the team by Ole, thats annoying. Those fine speech have their expiry date, believe me if he doesnt succeed everyone will ask for his head.

Emery is about adding Luis and Tierney in one day, Thats some determination and its impressive. We all wish Ole well but when people people express contrary views lets accommodate them as all of us cant always see things thesame way.

The bolded is my main issue, Will the board pocket the new inflow or spend it on needed reinforcement?. If You deduct Lukaku's sale weve spent just around £75 million. If a solid MF comes in tommorrow then i will give the club 70% pass mark in this window, Presently i will give them Just 50%.

A club of Uniteds Pedigree,having such long list of average players shouldn't have spent less than £200 million in this window on solid replacements. Furthermore ,whoever is doing the signing is clueless. Was it not thesame Maguire offered for 70 million last season that we ended up buying for 80 million this season?

Weeks ago i said that United should sell Lukaku for 50 to 60 million to get the needed players on time but i was taken up here. When you do business based on ego you hurt yourself, Only Inter milan was seriously after Lukaku and the coach considered him surplus to requirement so taking 60mil is good, maybe 50 is too low.

The only painful part is that the funds should have been spent on Fernandez or a RW who score goals.

For those who believe "money no be problem" for United that assertion is only true as far as the glazers dont keep pocketing funds.

If no one is signed between now and tommorrow with Lukaku's money then my fears will be confirmed. And it means we are on a long thing as our squad is too light in depth to challenge for titles. I will always remain a fan of this club but i dont believe in blind optimism for this season. Fingers crossed till tommorrow.
