This story is getting stale abeg. PDP actually made a mistake by opposing amaechi's nomination ,they also exposed their soft side in the process. Their strong suite isn't corruption,further noise will just shine more light on how corrupt some of those PDP senators are.

Still Observing the funny arguements ongoing in this Judicial Court.......Lemme check out the number of SAN in attendance yeeeepa like 20 SAN already!!! Almost 4 SAN are in support of the argument while 10 furious SAN are against the argument.

Madam the only solution to cluelessness is STUDYING and READING this thread thoroughly. All the so-called Gurus cant do jack if you don't help yourself with the available information.

Someone shared an experience similar to yours few pages back. She got denied initially but declared her pregnancy at the final interview and she was granted.

You are welcome, in the past they used to take originals. This is a recent development.

I submitted my application at VFS Abuja center.The VFS staff arranging the documents say they no longer accept originals of most documents because of complains of missing documents, that originals of bank statement and letters addressed to the High Commission are collected. Anyone experienced this? Thank you.

Plus ensure you check and remember to sign your applications if using paper route.

Yes if you are submitting via the paper route only photocopies of your documents will be accepted. This is inclusive of photocopies of pictures. If you insist on submitting originals there is a waiver form you will be given to fill.

After 3 threads and all the lengthy epistles, i dont expect anybody on this thread to withhold vital information or package answers at the Point of Entry. Dont forget that next time you visit the US they may want to check your receipts vis a vis your transcript. The Border officer that you will meet on your return to the USA may be one of those notorious ones transferred from Houston POE and they dont need introduction.

This thread was built on honesty and forthright answers and it should be encouraged to stay that way. Anything apart from that is an aberration and unnecessary risk. Best of luck to every expectant mum.

Hello NL, I am new here and would like to share my experience and also seek a pro advise. i have been to canada once on a 6 month single entry visa but was denied entry as a result of the fact that my proposed prog used to obtain the visa has passed. on leaving the immigration official cross the visa with a pen and informed it wasnt any problem that it is the normal procedure for any1 coming on a single entry visa. can some1 share any experience on this as i will like to reapply soon. hope this would not jeopardize my chance of obtaining a new visa.

Your story is strange because the border officer could have let you in for few days if you told them you were also on vacation. There are other details you may need to share on your current status in Nigeria and the program you went for.

The border officer didn't believe you won't overstay your visa hence the reason it was cancelled. Be assured that your details have been sent to their consulate in Nigeria so you have to be truthful if you apply again.

If the reason for his refusal is travel history, i will advise both of you to apply for UK,SA and Dubai visas. With these he can build some history.

Secondly, dont depend so much on your own travel history as the basis on which he should be issued a visa. He is the man hence the VO will be more comfortable with him applying for you and not vice versa.

The financial part of your question is not clear as everything you said is in order. In conclusion , the chances of you getting a visa can only be determined by the VO.

I have seen this scenario over and over again. Johny got bored with life abroad and relocates home, after struggling to cope with poor amenities within 3 months he runs back to the western world . Except for few who got great job offers,I hardly see people relocating willingly. Once you taste the amenities abroad to blend in Nigeria won't be easy again. It's easier said than done.
