PoliticsRe: Obi Not Informing Atiku Before Leaving PDP Not Good_ Deji Adeyanju by Twist4u: 10:04pm On Jul 22, 2022
The first criteria to success in Leadership is Vision, courage and independent.

Obi demonstrate all these attribute when he dump PDP and has moved on

He hold nobody any explanation and not even Atiku.

Infact his courage to dump PDP was what attracted me to him.

A smart and wise man need only one opportunity and PETER OBI got that opportunity in 2019 pre-election debate with Oshibanjo.

Nigerian became aware of his economy brilliance.

It's the hight of foolishness for a Presidential aspirant to run away from debates and send is VICE presidential aspirant to represent him.

What a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR PETER OBI In 2019 national presidential dabate, he grab it and now he is a Massive movement.

Atiku should go and sit down and stop complaining.
PoliticsRe: Describe Tinubu's Impending Defeat In One Sentence by Twist4u:
Shock wave. Hope he survive to witness non thuggery governance.

I have come to realize the BAT Urchins have not sat down and ask themselves what 23 million Voters registration Activities recorded and reported by INEC in June Meant come 2023. Which constitute 10 millions new voters registration and 13 million other activities such as transfer transfers, reissuance etc. Given that all these happened same period PETER OBI emerge LP presidential candidate.

They are not aware of the fact that it is BVAS that is invoke at the moment and not the OLD Card reader rigging machine. A big reason for the fatal defeat of APC in Osun.

It is very clear they are Banking on the old ways, vote buying, rigging and the 90% of the acclaimed Northerners votes that are not on social media. As posited by "Atiku" of PDP

A VERY BIG SHOCK WAVE await them indeed.
PoliticsMuslim-muslim Ticket: High Time CHRISTIANS Test It’s Popularity In 2023 Election by Twist4u(op):
Given the fact that the Current ruling Party APC have settled for a Muslim-Muslim ticket on the basis of Winnerability.

This have thrown up many questions begging for answer, one urgent questions is…

"Are Christian a minority population in Nigeria?

A quick follow up to this question

Isn’t it High time Christian evaluate it’s Popularity come 2023 election to test it’s Winnerability strength?

E get y as it is said in local parlance..

To determine its bargain power in Nigeria politics
To understand whether it’s a second fiddle or not

To have control of the contested narrative that Muslims are majority In Nigeria

To set the records straight in the future decision concerning political direction in Nigeria.

In my opinion an evaluation of Christian popularity is an idea whose time has come in 2023. Expecially the population of Christian in the 19 Northern State.

I became very interested in having a vivid knowledge of Christian population from the 19 Northern state after I read an opinion post online by one “Prophet Isa El-Buba” titled “Are Christians Really A Minority In Nigeria?

In his Summary and Statistical data, Christian constitute Majority population of about 55% to 95% in some Northern state like, Kaduna, Jos, Taraba, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Benue and Abuja. While the Christian population is between 20 % – 45 % in State like Gombe, Bauchi, Kogi, Bornu, Kwara, Niger and Yobe. Whereas in Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara the population of Christian is between 5% - 20% .

Without wasting much time…

Here’s an excerpt from Prophet Isa El-Buba Opinion Article published online, titled :
“Are Christians Really A Minority In Nigeria?

The century long Propaganda by the Colonial Masters and the Muslim Northerners who control the media in the North made the world believe Christians in the North are insignificant, maybe 95% muslims to 5% Christians.

The Nigerians in the South and middle belt have believed this too.

Many Southerners never believed there were indigenous Christians from Borno State until the Chibok girls kidnapped were 90% Christians, indigenous to Chibok in Borno State.

Find here the population statistics in the North of Nigeria:

NORTHERN CHRISTIAN

1) North East:

I. Adamawa state is 60 percent Christian.

II. Taraba State is 70 percent Christian (The muslims here fear the Christians who do not take any disrespectfully lying down).

III. Gombe State is 40 percent Christian(It could be more).

IV. Borno State is 30 Percent Christian.

V. Bauchi State is 20 Percent Christian.

VI. Yobe state is 20 percent Christian(it could be more).

2)North Central:

I. Benue is 95% percent Christian.

II. Plateau State is 90 percent Christian.

III. Nasarawa State:
The two largest ethnic groups are:

a. Eggon, the largest ethnic group that is 80 percent Christian, and,

b. Mada: which is 90 percent Christian.

#. Others: are in the least of 65 percent Christian.

Nassarawa has alot of animists even in LGAs near Abuja the FCT.

IV. Kogi State is 60 percent Christian:

a. Igala is 70 percent Christian.

b. Okun is almost 100 percent Christians.

c. Ibira Land Christians are 30 percent.

V. Kwara: Christians are 40 percent(it could be more).

VI. Niger: 40 percent Christian (High number of animists in Niger especially among the Dukawa People in Rijau LGA of Niger State).

3) North West:

I. Kano: 10 percent Christian(It could be more with a very high population of Igbos who have been part of the driving force of commerce there for decades).

II. Katsina is 20 percent Christian (Christians could be up to 40% in Katsina, many indigenous Hausas in Katsina call Maguzawa are Christians).

III. Sokoto is 5 percent Christian.

IV. Zamfara is 20 percent Christian.

V. Kebbi State is 30 percent Christian(High number of animists & Idol Worshippers exist in Kebbi especially among the Zuru and Dukawa people in Shanga LGA and around Yauri).

VI. Kaduna State is 55 percent Christian (this population has been systematically thinned out under the watchful eyes of El-rufai).

The Middlebelt is not less than 50m People.

If Kaduna alone can have about 3 million Christians by 2006 census according to LGAs, the entire Northern Nigeria should have not less than 60 million Christians!

Thank you for taking your time to read.

By Prophet Isa El-Buba”

From this opinion post of Prophet Isa El-Buba who is a core Northerner by origin, I can conclude by saying

it’s a Clarion call on the Christian population to evaluate it’s popularity come 2023 election in other to check something grin grin

This can be achieved by

1. Massive mobilization Voters Card registration, the same way their Muslim counterpart go about mobilization it’s members, through Churches, Pastors and down to families ensuring each member of voting age to get register.

2. Officially Collaborate with INEC to deploy more data Registration Machine In areas identified or mapped out to have high Christian population but low or few INEC data registration point ( Any serious Political party, Especially the Labour party can leverage on this Low hanging fruits: Search and Map out this area and Collaborate with INEC to deploy it’s data capturing machine there. You will be amazed the numbers of Nigerians that have not registered)

3. Ensure all those of voting age have a PVC before election and

4. Ensure they Come out em mass to participate on the day of election.

5. lastly, massively vote for a party and candidate they perceived will defend their interest.

Until this action is taken the Narrative of Christian being Minority is believed to be true.

A Clarion Call to Action.

PoliticsThe 10 Big Benefits Of " VAT Revolution" by Twist4u(op): 10:40am On Sep 10, 2021
The "Wike VAT revolution" that's unfolding right before our eyes and in our time is the beginning of a new and prosperous Nigeria.

Here are 10 BIG BENEFITS i can see right now.

1. It will End the Major Security challenges of Nigeria without a shot of the Gun. Simple and straightforward.

2. It will Break the Abuja power and influence on state.

States will have much money in their Control, than the slavery amount they run to Abuja every month to collect. Therefore they will not need to beg Abuja for money any more. As what they went finding in Sokoto, is now in their Shokoto.

3. There will be major migration of people:

Naturally people move toward locations perceived to have a better potential for their economy prosperity.

State like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Kano will experience economy boom and population boom.

They will now have enough money to building infrastructure that attracts investors and improve the purchasing power of her people.

This will result to creating more jobs opportunities and people will definitely come and take up the vacancy.

4. State policing will become the order of the day

And the Abuja centralized policing structures will be broken down.

Federal government will not have the money to fund their activities.

As state policing will become the order of the day. And they will be highly needed at state level.

State will now have the financial capacity to fund its police. This action will reduce security problems to its minimum

5. Most Agencies of Government and Ministry will be made Redundant, as their useful will be needed at state level.

Example for state like Lagos that generate over 400 billion, will definitely need more hand to collect VAT Monthly.
This will mean expanding structures and capacity to local governments council level.

And as such the services of Agencies like FIRS will not be needed at Abuja any more. Their expertise will be highly useful at state level.

6. Hardworking state will experience economy boom and the lazy states may collapse or Merge with Hardworking state

Of course Hardworking state will experience More money into the state treasury, more infrastructure, attracts more investors and enjoy economy prosperity

On other hand,

The Lazy state will experience less money generated into its treasury, less infrastructure, less investors and poor economy to fund its activities, and therefore the closer it is to collapse or request for merger by Hardworking state.

7. Federal government will benefit the most

because, all states will still pay the mandatory 15% generated from its VAT to the Centre. As government will now focus on its primary responsibility to fund the military, foreign interest, build interstate bridges to connect state, Health care and Education etc.

8. State can now exercise its freedom of existence independently.

State can now decide to make laws they are comfortable with: example Anambra state can claim its a Christian state, that every street must have a Church.

on the other hand, Kano State can Claim that its a Sharia state, that selling of Alcohol is Haram and totally ban.
No Complain.

9. Nigeria will experience astronomical economy Growth.

Competition Facilitate growth.

As state compete with each other, improved policy will be created to attract investors to each states.

States on the other will focus on developing infrastructure to be at advantage in competition.
And This will result to astronomical economy growth and prosperity

10. All state Attorney general and state legislatures should as a matter of urgency pass this law like Lagos have done.

Doing this will immortalized their names in the mind of their people and the history of Nigeria for standing up and be counted when it matter most.

Conclusion

You can add other benefits
PoliticsRe: Britain Warns Twitter & Facebook To Regulate Their Sites Content by Twist4u: 8:55pm On Jun 06, 2021
UpNigeria7:
Twitter Ban - Britain Follows Nigeria's Lead and Warns Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube To Regulate Their Sites Content

Nigeria Bans Twitter on Friday 4th June 2021, India writes letter to warn twitter to obey Indian laws on Sat 5th June, British Government writes to Twitter, Facebook and TikTok on Sat 5th June to regulate the content posted on their sites and from now on, the British National Crime Agency (NCA) will now work with tech companies to swiftly identify and remove dangerous content from their platforms (the same thing the Indian Govt is proposing to Twitter and all tech companies that want to keep operating in India)

The Indian Govt plans which some social media companies have already started implementing will mean twitter and co will be bound by law to identify the first person than creates a post on Twitter so that offensive and potentially dangerous posts can be traced back to the initial originator unlike now where inflammatory and potentially dangerous posts to national security is posted without any repercussions.

For once Nigeria led and the worlds largest democracy followed suit THE NEXT DAY and the father of all parliaments also followed suit THE NEXT DAY. Nigeria will rise again regardless of what its enemies are planning. God pass them and their sinister plans.

In the same British article below, a subsidiary of Facebook made £222 billion last year paid Zero corporation tax because the company is incorporated in Bermuda - a well known tax dodging haven used by criminals to hide their illicit wealth. but this is changing as the G7 meeting in the UK last week resolved to tax the Tech giants including Twitter and Facebook etc a minimum of 15% corporation tax and this will be adopted globally by all countries in the world and as long as you make a profit margin of 10% in a country you will have to pay 15% corporation tax on your profits to that country unlike before where you can hide behind off shore domicile in a Tax haven.

So Twitters Jack and his tax dodging billions can now have something to think about including paying their fair share of taxes to society and maybe Jack's billionaire induced arrogance and veiled imperialist tendencies will now simmer down as one of their own - Britain - has followed Nigeria's lead in clipping their arrogant, tax dodging and "unaccountable" wings / feathers and by the time Britain and other leading world powers finish with plucking Twitters feathers, he will no longer "unfairly" ridicule the President of the largest black nation on earth .

PoliticsRe: Ezekwesili: Buhari Worse Than Jonathan In Governance by Twist4u: 11:07am On Oct 13, 2020
jlinkd78:
Every governance indices have all gone into negative value under Buhari. All these rhetoric have one solution , break up Nigeria into it's homogeneous component parts
People like Ezekwesili, Sowore and Obasanjo are the unstable and confused set of human beings, that speak from both side of the mouth and are directly responsible for this disaster called a President.

They championed BBOG, Sahara reporters, Tearing of PDP membership card respectively. All to push Jonathan government out of office. When exchange rate was $ 1US dollar = #187, Petrol price was #87 naira, Bag of Rice # 8000.

And, all of a sudden, they have made 360 degree U-turn to lambast the same government they championed.

Now here them, Ezekwesili say "Buhari is worse than Jonathan". Sowore, Say " Revolution now" and Obasanjo, the Letter writer, says " Before its too late".

This is insanity of the highest order. We will not take such cheap blackmail from any of this set of unstable Morons.

Although local and global indices have proven that Nigeria is the Poverty Capital of the world, with the highest illiteracy rate and third security threat to the world, have witnessed exchange rate rose to $1 US dollar = #450, have witnessed 2 recessions, and considered a Fantastically Corrupt Nation, all, under President Buhari government since 2015.

At these rate we are going with Buhari, we can only stop when we hit the rocks or 2023 comes faster.

For the Break up of Nigeria, I don't think it is the solution, talking from economic perspective. Population has proven to be a bigger advantage, if properly harness and manage. Take USA & CHINA for example, with huge population of 250 million plus and 1.2 billion plus, population respectively.

They are both producing nation, when they produce a product, they have a good population, with good purchasing power to consume for profit first, before selling to the out outside world.

I am of the opinion that "true Federalism" is the way forward. Weaken this centralized system, let resources and power go back to local government and states and Nigeria will Grow geometrically.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Costly Mistakes I Discovered in 250 CVs: Why They Were Not Invited 4 Interviews by Twist4u: 6:27am On Jun 30, 2020
JOpress3:
For the past two months since this Covid-19 wahala started, i have reviewed and rewritten about 50 CV and Cover Letters, for nairalanders , you cn confirm from my signature jopress3 above. I have discovered Big Mistakes that are common with the Fresh Graduates and the experience graduates and I feel I should share.

Unfortunately, this mistakes are visible to the eyes of only experts and employers, these are the core reasons these applicants were not getting the invite for interviews they desired and why it has been difficult for the underemployed graduates to moved from his low pay job, to a higher pay job that he desired.
Let’s get into the detail of these Big Mistakes below..

#1. Poor Arrangement of information in CV
87 % of the 50 Cv i worked on, has poor arrangement of information in their CV. This sets of applicants did not understand the principle of strength and weakness. So, how can they tackle this problem?.

Consider SWOT analysis. According to Wikipedia, “SWOT analysis is a Strategic Planning techniques used to help a person or organization identify Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats related to business competition or project planning”. No doubt you have competition in the labour market, in that job you wish to apply for. Therefore, it is your duty to identify your SWOT and position them to your advantage, if you must be ahead of your competitors.

So, what information can be classified your Strength or Opportunity, Weakness or Threats? For me, Information such as, Added academic qualification (Phd,Msc,MBa,Phd etc), Additional Certifications, Big brand Work Experience, and your achievements, will stand as my strength and opportunities. And, I will position them in my first page. While, information such as Personal data (Date of birth; where you are above the age in an advertised job, Your Marital Status, State of origin etc.) will be considered my Weakness and Threats and i will relocate them to the behind pages.

The idea is, you position your strength and opportunities in your first page so that they attract attention of your potential employers.

#2 Address of Residence
Common sense is not common practice, as basic as address of residence is, it has denied about 95% of applicants opportunities of getting their desired job.

Time has really change things, the days when most employers will recruit new employee from any part of the country and provide free accommodation for 3 months, to help you settle down, have gone down the drains. The Market forces of demand and supply has change every thing, the Number of graduate Supplied into the labour market far exceed the available jobs in demand. And, it has given Employers a lot of choice to choose from and they enjoy it a lot, because it created avenue to cut cost to its minimum.

These days, for example, let’s say an employer in Lagos need 50 qualified graduates, she can get all the 50 graduates in Lagos alone, in a day, anytime she places a vacancy advertisement. These is definitely a problem for an applicant, whose address of residence is not Lagos state, the same for Employers in Portharcourt and Abuja, considered to be job hub in these country. Applicants need to be dynamic in approach.

How do you tackle this challenge if you reside outside these three states(Lagos, Portharcourt, & Abuja)? Its very simple, for example, let’s say you reside in Benin and you find a job vacancy in portharcourt that you meet the requirements, ask yourself, did I have relations or friends in portharcourt, if yes, put a call immediately to them explain clearly the situation at hand, ask for their address and replace it with yours in your CV before you apply. When you get the job sort yourself out.

#3 Too Many Jobs Within a short period of time.

93% of the 50 CV i worked on have this Big mistake. This class of applicant thought that the more places they have worked the better the job opportunities, some have worked in 3 places in 3 years, 4 places in 5years or 6 places in 7 years etc. The question I do ask most time, is it necessary to include all your previous job in your cv or reduce it to few number of jobs.

Lets compare and contrast two applicants below and give our verdict. The first, is an applicant who has worked in 6 places within 7 years. The second, is an applicant who has worked in only 2 places in 7 Years. Who will you consider for a job?.

Here’s My verdict, for the first applicant that worked in 6 places in 7 Years, I will not give him a job, because his job history has shown that he doesn’t stay long in a job, he is not consistent, no stable job experience, it might be that he is not a hard working person or he might have a character problem, as such no job for him. For the second applicant who worked for 2 places in 7 Years, I will give him the job, because he has demonstrated from his job history that he stay longer in a job, it means he has acquired better experience in each job with time, he is consistent and might be hard working and have better character. Yes for him, I will give him the job. So you see the implications.

The idea is, you don’t necessarily need to pile up long list of previous place of work, you should consider prone it down to 2 or 3 work places maximum. You can selects that which you acquired good experience and can get good reference in case. Be creative.

#4. Unnecessary Long List of Responsibility.

99.5% of the 50 CV i worked on failed in this aspect.? This class of applicants see responsibility as an achievement, so they pile a long list and cover the whole space. As define by an online dictionary, “responsibility is the state of facts of being responsible, answerable or accountable for something within ones control”.

Hence that is what it is, it means responsibility is a general things and not personal, such that, 50 persons can have the same responsibilities at a time. for example a responsibility of Customer Service Officer is the same in similar industry every where you go. Then , why the long list of responsibilities in your cv? Wouldn’t it be better if you summarise it to one or two sentence and save yourself a lot of space in your CV. The best CV are not more than Two(2) pages.

For example a Bank Marketer can summarise her responsibility this way ‘Sale of banks retail products, such as Assets, Liability and Non financial' Simple and straight forward. An attacker in football team, like Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior,if you ask them to tell you their responsibilities, they will answer ‘ to score goals and give assist' simple and straight to the point, any other thing is secondary.

The idea is that, responsibility is a general thing, it doesn’t make you smarter or hardworking and it is not an achievement as you will see below.

#5 Complete Absence of Achievements.

99.9% of the 50 CV i worked on, did not mention achievements, even the very few that did, hid it inside their long list of Responsibilities. Its quite unfortunate, perhaps because some applicant confuse achievement for responsibility and others did not realise the impact achievements carry on their CV.

The fact is, Your Achievement is what make you “Stand out from the crowd”, it makes you an island of intelligent in a sea of mediocrity. Achievements is personal possession, you own it and no two persons has the same achievements, even twins Children.

From our example above, Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior, they are attackers, their responsibility is the same thing, ‘to score goals and give assist', but their achievement is completely different, while both players where in Barcelona in 2014/2015 football season, Lionel Messi Scored about 73 goals and 89 assist, While Neymar Junior scored about 33 goals and 41 assist. Lionel Messi has better achievement, and it is the singular reason why Lionel Messi is paid higher than Neymar in Barcelona. And, he is needed in all the big football clubs.

It is your achievements that catches the attention of your potential employers, they come to see you as a problem solver particular to your job function. No wonder i have started receiving positive testimonials from the 50 CV i did reviewed and rewriting here on nairaland, because i use my experience and expertise to uncover their achievements and project it properly in their CV. It is your duty to identify your achievements and channel it to your advantage. If you are finding it difficult to fix, you can always chat me up on WhatsApp or email below and I will gladly use my experience and expertise to fix it for you, for a small Service fee.

#6 Complete Absence of knowledge of Cover letter.

Unfortunately, almost 98 % of the cover letters i reviewed were very poor.

The fact is, as you aspire to move up in the job markets from a low pay job to a higher pay job that you desired, Cover letter and not your CV, became the most important weapon you need to persuade employers to look towards your direction.

It is in your cover letter that you have all the space to express your skills and achievements. You can get down to the details and demonstrate how your skills have solve previous problems of employers, particular to your job function. You will have the space to give details of your achievements.

CONCLUSION:
You can apply this ideas and craft a Smart CV and Cover letter for yourself .

Next, he sign Ecowas free trade treaty, one week later he close the border. And Now border is close for Rice, he did not deem it important to close border for COVID-19. Am not understanding. I am beginning to get convinced that CORONAVIRUS is a WHITE MAN affiliated SICKNESS n not for Blacks. Just like Malaria infections, it is known to cause more damage to the White man system when infected as compared to the Black man . The ConVid 19 infected Italian White man has to reach Nigeria first, when Nigerian sun pepe am, the symptoms start manifest left, right n center. Up until this moment no record of any Nigerian he made contact with has been confirmed infected. E be like say our immune system pass coro 19 power. E be Like say we get the cure already, but we never realise am. Am taking a closer look at our SUN and am beginning to reason my IGBO brothers for a better partnership. If u know u know.

My worries: hope this will not follow TINAPA story... What happen to the TINAPA project? Was the FG, Private Sector and CrossRiver state government not in partnership for TINAPA project? Like Akwa Ibom deep sea project, Like TINAPA abandoned project, but the same Federal government partnership. The problem is not our ability to develop new ideas, the main problem is our inability to delete the old unwanted ideas from our minds. Just shaking my head.

When you change your thinking you change your life. Change Start with 1. Assessment - set target: 1day, 1week, etc 2. Dicipline- the sacrifice, 3. Determination - passion, the fire that ignite your energy to Quit. Finally stop watching pornography. Start doing exercise, exercise n exercise. Find a purpose for your existence n channel your energy derive from your exercise to that purpose. I.e Take up constructive Writing as profession. I observe that Op write up is good n can get better if he seek improvement. Albert Einstein once said "the numerous problems we face today can not be change with the same level of thinking we were at when we created those problems". Big up n Stand up op.
