The truth is it's not quite easy making money via freelancing especially when you identify as a Nigerian. It's hard work like any other job you get IRL. They do, if you present yourself well... and they will come back for more if your service is satisfactory. I have clients from different countries coz of my discipline... Even in a work that requires "native speakers only", I still get picked. It's so real and such a gold mine will only respond to those who have faith and are ready to take actions.

lol..transcription no be moi moi job o..because i have a typing speed of 80 words/minute. i spend 5 strenuous hours to transcribe. I charge $30/hour. last week i got a transcription job for $40/hour, i was very happy thinking it was the usual transcribing stuff. after i downloaded the audio file, i realised the speaker was speaking like CHRIS TALKER..e be like say e dey rap...but my brother i do the job o...it took me 8 hours...men i suffer o...transcription job no be play...i only accept such offers when i am less busy.

hehehehehe.... , i don quit from transcription job tey tey....just don't want the stress anymore jare, when easy cool cash dey somewhere else. I have been transcribing sermons since my schl days but I collected one thesis defence transcription like that...after a while, I ditched the project....I can't come and die....I was sweating like Abobaku .....i only love transcription jobs where the speakers are not squeaking like squirrels.

Dumping my old nokia crap to buy a new phone, but am thorn between two devices; Tecno Camon C8 and Droidpad Tecno H8. Which of these devices has the best performance? How are the battery perfomance, the screen resolution, browsing experience, fluidity and lagging, sexy design and OTG compatibility?

I bought it few days ago and it is lovely!! I mean Tecno 8H Droid pad..... Still exploring it. It is fluid and the battery is very OK on 3G....browsing is fast, no lagging and screen resolution is good (deeply beautiful)... I'm not tech savvy, so I don't know about OTG things.... I can see a printer icon for printing documents.... It's worth the money (bought mine @ 31k). It depends on what you want to use it for, that will decide if you should go for it or Camon C8....i use mine for business, mainly browsing and academic research /work....

Plese how many of you have downloaded Freelancer time-tracker on your desktops? How does it work and what are the pros and cons? Freelancer informed me that it is mandatory for me to download it or I will not have my milestone released on the project I am working on. Also, I have noticed they've been giving me negative points for the projects I've been bidding on after bidding. I normally place milestones, and their reason there is "milestone cancelled". I don't understand.

That's strange....I have worked hourly jobs and I have not been forced to download desktop App. You cannot request milestone directly like the fixed jobs, you will have to send invoice and input the amount. It is that simple. please explain the last part of your statement and make it understandable.

Concerning your Payoneer card, it seems you are not staying in Lagos. It is very difficult to get your card delivered outside Lagos with postcode or no postcode. I will advice you to earn USD 50 on freelancer and order your card via DHL. It gets delivered to your doorstep after four workinng days and you dont need a postcode to apply. You will only carry a means of identification to sign the papers. The money is quite huge but it will serve you better on the long run. This is the best option for people who find it difficult to receive their cards via the normal free postal service.

Twosquare, he is right. When I saw his comment, I want to Nipost's website and checked for the post codes of other states like Ogun and Ondo. You won't believe that only a few towns, like 2/3 are covered on the site.

I think this is so because they do not have a proper street naming system in place like we do in Lagos. Try it and see for yourself.

I know what I'm saying dear Ferhyntorlah...even Ekiti has proper postcodes...yes, not all we have....that's why I said he should use state postcode if there is none for streets along with P.O BOX (this is very important)....if not, package will just go into oblivion.

It might.....it is impossible for you not to find postal codes.....postal codes are for a particular area in the city. Google searching this thing on Nigeria postal code (www.nigeriapostcodes.com) will help. it may not be the exact "adugbo" but that which is close, in the same geographical area, or you simply leave the postal code at state level.

I've heard of this a few months back. The cause could be you used the card for online shopping or on an unencrypted site.

Please my people, do not use your card on a site accessed via IP proxy as your card details isn't safe on such a site.

That's one of the major challenges Payoneer is facing: withdrawal of funds in another country, possibly through cloned card....Your theory is definitely on point....me don't use it for online shopping and if I want to, it will be via Paypal which is secure. what coderXO said is also true...I no fit leave up to $300 in it before I withdraw my cash and deposit it safely into my local acct. I no fit leave my money with these whities, they are not to be trusted.

Yeah, it's funny but very true! I used to think it was only in the developed world post codes were used till I googled and found out Nigeria also uses post codes.

Anytime you come across peeps complaining of not receiving their Payoneer card, the first question to ask is: did you input post code in your application?

BTW, I used my home address and I got my card like 2-4 days after the stipulated time frame.

NIPOST has really improved. When people complain of not receiving their cards, we need to ask them the post code they used in their application Some don't even know Nigeria has post codes.

Post code is the code guys at the post office used to sort mails and packages according to areas and localities.

Lol @Postcodes got me laughing....that's true...sometimes googling these things helps a lot. Proper address + P.O Box and Postcodes will guarantee the receiving of your package.

I am speaking from personal experience, and that of a few people that I know. Some people are lucky to get theirs 3-4 weeks. Nipost is very wonderful. When I ordered my first card, I almost became a weekly visitor in their office. After 2 months, I ordered another one through DHL. The initial card came in 4 months.

Mine only used 3 weeks for NIPOST when i ordered for my card.

I think the flag just showcased the true state of Nigeria.....

I have been quietly following NL religion section for some years, reading few posts here and there.
There was a time I was really intrigued by the posts of certain members such as Obadiah777, MrPresident1, MostHigh, JesusisLord85. Especially regarding the whole Hebrew connection and how they break down meanings of passages. These posters all hold the New Testament as scripture, from what I can decipher.
