ask4bk: I use same consumption as you, yet I use 14kwh lithium battery and 4400w solar panels, and 5kva inverter. Na your money go determine wetin you go use WAWU...isn't that an overkill? Especially the 4400w solar panels... Anyway, how much did you buy the 14kwh lithium battery, and which brand? I need guidance on how to go about it...and if 1 million can get me a good setup for that. |

Dam5reey1: First is a 5kw that is the power.. it is a 48V inverter
Second is a battery, the energy storage capacity is 5kwh, it is a 24V battery.. So, which is advisable to get between the two...one seems like a standalone and the other hybrid...am I correct? |

I'm new here. Please, which among these two is better. Note they are the same Kva. What's the difference as price seems lower on one than the other?

ceejayluv: But when GEJ and his economic team saw these forthcoming and proposed removing the subsidy, having a sovereign wealth fund account, etc who were the people that sponsored crisis and brought the same Buhari as a repentant Messiah. Well, that's on Nigerians to fall for it. Jonathan too was not a saint. All of them together stink because they had the opportunity to do the needful so that we won't feel the heat today, but were spending lavishly. It's a mess-up country anyway...I don't put my mind into Nigeria stuff like that... |

MrCGPA: Did You Know that President Buhari didn't performed Good during his 8 years administration but people didn't felt the bad impacts much since Nigerians can Work for themselves? Tinubu came without proper Plan and remove Subsidy on his First Speech. Nothing affects every Nigerian like Fuel Subsidy. Unfortunately even after removing the Subsidy there is no money to use from the Subsidy. Because he was living a fake life now. He fcking borrowed to the extent that we now use 95% of our revenues to service debt. I wish there were another way, seriously. That's why we are here...if not, sure collapse. Nothing more. |

Superpack589: Sorry for bringing this here but this is where I feel most comfortable talking about investing whether it is crypto or stock trading. Ilegendd, GraceGlory, Chikacha, and others please help me on this.
For several weeks now, I have been trying to come up with a list of long-term trades in the US markets to enter for the next four years. I have this feeling that the start of a new US administration is a great time to get into some investments and with the US elections just few days away, I'm running out of time. Basically, this is me trying to set a pattern for my investing journey (which is still quite young), but I'm open to learning more. Please share your thoughts. Will this approach make any difference?
What do you think? Or perhaps I should wait for the results before deciding? Keep in mind that some of these stocks can move overnight in reaction to the results, making it difficult to find a good entry point.
Or perhaps we can do it another way;
Suggest some good investments for the next four years if you think Donald Trump will win.
If you think Kamala Harris will win, what are the best investments you suggest for the next four years?
Thank you all. First, start with Chatgpt to give you a hypothetical situation of investment/stocks to go into if either candidate wins... |

Politics › Re: My Annoying Experience At Nigerian Immigration Yesterday. This Is Not Fair by twosquare(m): 10:29am On Nov 01, 2024 |
TimiRume: Thanks. This DIY route is me applying online myself right? There was something the officer I met told me, I suspect fear mongering though. He said, any little mistake you make online, your application would be automatically cancelled and you will have to pay another whole sum again to get it done properly. Nah, he was exaggerating.
Truly, the 80k and 100k are just too much. Not right at all It is a straightforward process, nothing difficult there. You can also read what will be required before you do the DIY for a smooth experience. |
Politics › Re: My Annoying Experience At Nigerian Immigration Yesterday. This Is Not Fair by twosquare(m): 10:01am On Nov 01, 2024 |
TimiRume: Why are some Nigerians like this? Why have we sworn to sabotage everything before us like no man business?
I went to the Immigration office yesterday with the sum of N50k hoping to get my passport application process started and probably get it within a month. Before going there yesterday, I saw online that the federal govt had increased the fee recently from 35k to 50k. I managed to get the 50k and was praying to find an officer who would do it at a lesser price.
However on getting there, I was met with a totally different fee. At first I was confused, because the moment I arrived some men started "hustling" to whisk me away to a nearby office, a stone throw away from the main immigration office. They told me since I was applying for a fresh passport(I told them, my bad), I had to follow them because they were the ones in charge of that. I relunctantly followed them. They explained somethings to me and brought out a form to fill. I mumbled not so fast and asked how much for it, the 5yrs own? And they said 80k. 80 what!! I got suddenly angry and started walking out.
Returned back to main building and found an officer. He told me same 80k price but I can pay 50k to get an appointment slip and when I come on Monday for capturing, balance up. I almost started crying. He said not to worry my passport would be out in 3weeks plus some days time. I told him if that's the case, I would pay the balance once I get my passport in 3weeks time. But he refused, saying the balance must be paid on the capture date. We went back and forth, and he said something like some people pay millions to get theirs and they don't ask all these questions I'm asking.
Well, I knew something was off with that promise of 3weeks collection time but that was not the primary thing bothering me. The fee was my problem. Why do they allow these guys overcharge customers above the standard fee with their heavy commissions? This isn't fair.
My tfair to and fro was 6k. Wasted. I went back home not able to start the application. Some guys I met outside told me if I want it urgently, I would pay even more than 100k. Sorry, I don't plant money in my house.
Did these guys lie to me or did I not meet the right people yesterday? Don't pay them shishi...look at the comments above as they enable the dysfunctional system. Go through the DIY route, or wait for Dec 1 when you can do it from your house, and the most important I would like you to do is to REPORT THEM TO THE HONOURABLE MINISTER on X. He should respond and they will take it up. We have a minister now who is proactive...don't encourage the corruption in the system. Expose it to light. 80k ko, 100k ni...they want to maga you and you dey drop hand...tueeh. |

POPPASQUISH: I’ve been hearing about this same arrangement with the Airtel ODU (Nokia) - may I ask what your average speeds are via MBPS? I use the ZLT X25, not the ODU. EduTechTainMent can answer your question because I think that's what he uses. As for the average speed, I get like 13MBPS, if I calculate the lowest with mid and highest. Top speed has always been 22MBPs even if it surges past that. You call the speed horrific in your last quote; know that it depends on your subscription. For me, I did the 20MBPS. Even if there is an upsurge to 30,it still goes back to the 20s figure. So, the packages range from 20, 40, and 60 MBPS respectively. That's it. |
