Sommyroy10: Why don't you recommend the Nokia branded router? Because there are features in the ZLT X25 that are not in it, as reported by users. You can switch network easily. Also, ZLT X25 comes with UPS. The ODU, on the other hand, needs to be plugged in, or you get a standby system for it. If network is somehow in your area, you can go for the Airtel ODU (branded Nokia). It is just a bit like Starlink in that it boosts network well, etc. You can see the image. Just have to be a bit techy.

twosquare: Yea, I wanted to comment yesterday but time and work. I have attached screenshot biases from the daily, weekly, and monthly time frames.
Let me just say, based on my perception, it appears we are in an accumulation zone sort of.
For the daily time frame, you can see where the candle is targeting and wants to take out: $63,789.
For weekly, you can see that the wick bounces off exactly from the red line I made the other day, which I called a "relief support" (whoever is reading should check my previous posts).
There is no clear structure formation yet as to whether it will go for $68,925 in weekly and monthly tf, but it will form.
Looking at the monthly tf, the same thing is with structure formation...only the daily is clear on what it wants to do.
I expect a news to send us up in UPtober...it is still early. The same game was played last year OCtober...I said something about that. First week, they will want to scare you off. Suddenly, one crazy pump.
Anyway, you have it. @GRACEGLORY As discussed in our earlier convo, it touched the $63,789. predicted and even pierced it further. Just like I said, the daily time frame clearly showed where it was targeting based on chart structure. Even now, I see a path but... This week is coming with a lot of news...anything can happen further...up or down...or double-sided to wipe both traders. My submission.

GoodBoi1: My experience with this Airtel unlimited plan on 5G router is that it is manageable but not reliable. Network is down in the afternoon, on a week day, restarted router but I keep getting "Sign in to Airtel network" message. What I do is to just change the network from 4g to 5g NSA or back multiple times and I'm back. |

Samxie: I think you summed it up really well. It's not just about the Starlink unit, it's also the steady AC power supply and other costs that come with that too. Because without that, you can't even take full advantage of the service.
Also, it's mostly home-based, and so you still need a backup provider for when you're on the move.
I personally think if Starlink isn't generating or enabling someone to generate significant revenue (for example, a stable business or a dollar-based remote role), it's a no-no at the moment, until something changes. Good submission!! |

Samxie: Chai, see what Starlink people have caused. Airtel is now dragging market share in this thread. Lol.
I'm optimistic about Black Friday, though. Maybe there will be a hardware price discount or something. MTN and Airtel give me high BP every day. Actually, I feel for those who bought this and then the naira devaluation, then now increase in price...that's someone's monthly salary mehnn...it will make it appear elitist. Na person wey belleful dey cough such amount monthly now. Compare it to 20k monthly for the lowest plan. I had the money then, but I had to calculate yearly and factor in the likelihood of an increase. Hmmm. That's after money for kit o...then factoring in light issue, inverter, etc. so I can use it 24/7...I gave up. At ₦590k now, that is enough (If Airtel no increase) for me to do 2 years plus plan and some months or cover device and some months. I have to consider this based on economic realities...you need to have deep pockets now...if naira falls further...gbegeun... |

THE WORST 60K EVER SPENT. I BOUGHT MINE FROM AIRTEL OFFICE AT SHOPRITE. You are speaking to the wrong person, bro. That is what I have been using for 3 months now, despite that network in my compound can be somehow. Check the attached pics of my speed this afternoon. Slightly above 20mbps in the morning ( 22 to 25). Location is Ile-Ife. I got mine 50k. I only recommend the Airtel's ZLT X25 and not the Nokia-branded own.

dustmalik: I think those with 5G router and with 5G network are mostly those enjoying this Airtel unlimited plan.
I advised two of my guys to get the Airtel 5G router, based on the feedback I saw here, thinking it would perform better on the 5G router, not knowing these guys have no Airtel 5G at their location. Since then, it's been same complain everyday. Some days they're unable to browse at all, no matter the placement of the router or physical location of the router within their house, even multiple restarts of the router doesn't help. I don't have 5g network, yet I am enjoying it for work, movies, games... It depends on the network in their area....mine is 4g+... what I did was to find a sweet spot in my house; sometimes it is the window....other times, the verandah. |

Kamal42: Hello guys, I got the Airtel Router (Hertz 6) and I've been on it for over a year. It works okay but recently, the network bar has been acting up. About 2 months ago, whenever I switch off the router and turn it back on, the red light doesn't turn blue until after several hours. It's gotten worse: for about a week now, there's a static red light on the network bar and it doesn't ever turn blue anymore. I've switched it off/on, changed location several times to different areas in Jos, removed battery, removed SIM, factory reset, but same story. What do I do? (The two antennas are intact btw). Please, this is a Starlink thread. We don't want to derail it. You can post your complaint here: https://www.nairaland.com/8107167/airtel-unlimited-internet-subscription-how |

Ayomipoe: Bros I sabi wetin I dey talk na. I reside in Lagos, commute frequently to Ikeja. I have checked their coverage and I pass/ dine where they supposedly have 5g. It either doesn't show up or work. Average of 70MBps in Ikeja, where I live in Ipaja it's even worse, like 15MBps. Abegi, please anyone that has Airtel and has used 5g in Lagos, please let me know the area let me carry my a modem and try it. How can I have 5g router for 7months plus and I have not tasted it. 🤣🤣🤣 |

Ayomipoe: LOL, 5g router that has never once connected to 5g network. Can't imagine going back. There are only two or three places you can see 5g network that's sure. Portharcourt, Abuja, and Lagos in Nigeria. Others where you may pick it up are Ibadan, Kano... As for Airtel, those three cities first mentioned. The 4g speed is good for me. When 5g expands more, then good. They should only work more on the 4g+ |

georgee: But this your Aitel is not unlimited. Speeds are capped and with FUP https://www.airtel.co.ug/5g Nah...and that's Ugandan website. Download my Airtel app... their plans vary but the best is the per speed plan You can see the first one and the last one in the first screenshot. Also, there are others per speed, depending on how much you want to pay monthly. I think the highest being 50k at the present. Based on some people's experience, their speed don't drop until they crossed 1TB for their unlimited plans. For some, nothing happens. Even Starlink puts you off priority list. 💁🏽♂️

Don't come here sounding as if we don't have any right to vent... You feel everyone can afford 75K?
I remember one of the grounds Starlink was allowed to operate in Nigeria was the insistent that they factor in economic realities in pricing..
By November, I am dumping this kit and going back to my GSM jeje.... It was great enjoying seamless Internet for a very little while.. Welcome to Airtel. I made the right choice, knowing Americans and their expensive piece of shit, Elon Musk being no different. Better beg your government to bring Safricom of Kenya come. Nigerians will go for it in place of Starlink. At least, na our African brothers get am.

Mandate1: 2 trillion for power annually, that's too much. Govt needs to invest massively in power. That 2 trillion alone can give Nigeria upto 5megawatts electricity.
Power sector is an area that needs speedy reforms from the Tinubu govt, but he chose to put effort on fuel leaving others to suffer. Actually, 2 trillion should give close to 1000 megawatts of electricity. |
