Hydronium: I was feeling funky today. So because I live in a bungalow, I fetched a bucket of water and poured over my solar panel. This led increase in output of about 30Watts, having washed away the harmattan dust. They delivered my solar panel this evening from Fouani. Ọmọ, what you see is not what you get. I no know say that thing big like that and a bit heavy. The kain stunt I do today after they passed by my house, I no fit do am again on top okada

EmmyPers: You probably need to read this before concluding, and to understand that this isn’t the regular short-term measures to save Naira.
https://businessday.ng/news/article/why-naira-is-appreciating-and-how-long-it-may-last/?s=08 He is actually right, and you need to consider the fundamentals. While the matching FX system may have helped a bit, which is good but we need to consider how far this will go. What are the fundamentals driving the appreciation of the naira: 1. The matching system is in place, or whatever it is called. 2. Max inflow of dollars in yuletide season. Supply is more than demand. This is when diaspora remittance is high because of holidays, etc. 3. The USD is generally bearish. It is good for assets like gold, our crypto, etc. 4. Since the USD is bearish, some currencies will gain against the USD. If you trade forex, you will know that the Sell is for USDXXX and Buy is for XXXUSD. *This will be like that for a time.... Now, don't forget these fundamentals too that may happen to the USD soon: 1) Dollars supply mop up as yuletide/new year celebration ends. 2) School resumes in January and the desire for dollars increase 3) Donald Trump is sworn in, which should make other currencies receive beaten. What I just want is for it to be stable and not be acting like meme coins. |

Debroslink: Solar panel. It was a Saturday and I went out. Heavy rain fell while I was away. Came back to meet a dead power station. I saw "short" written on it when I tried to turn it on. Sent an email immediately, and they came on Tuesday to pick it up. It was returned almost 2 weeks later in perfect condition. Since then, I learnt my lesson never to leave it plugged while going out for long hours. Chai...that's sad...glad they fixed it. I will take heed to that when the rainy season comes. |

Babatundehy: Let's say your inverter somehow conveniently powers up this traditional compressor refrigerator of yours, how many hours will it stay on for with other loads especially from sundown till sunrise? Best thing to do is throw away your refrigerator and buy an inverter refrigerator, an inverter refrigerator is smart, energy efficient and they do start the compressor gradually, unlike your non inverter tech refrigerator, inverter refrigerators do not have a fixed running watts or starting watts, they will consume as low as 40 watts when it is already very cool inside, shut off when set temperature is reached, etc, Your traditional refrigerator will have crazy start up watts and consume the rated watts for forever even if you have nothing in it and it is already very cool inside, it'll be a constant power draw like your 100 watts incandescent light bulb (after startup), sell it or throw it away. That's the advice in bold. I have one traditional freezer that consumes units from PHCN like water too...prepaid units go just dey drop...lol No need to attach feelings to things...sell it up and buy something more energy efficient. Technology is improving daily and no stay for one place. *As for the Delta 2. I am happy I went for it and am now enjoying it in peace. I plug it directly like my gas gen to power the whole house. From 6 pm to around after 10 with still some battery left in 40%. If na petrol I use, na to start thinking of the next money to buy fuel again...what a relief!! |

twosquare: How To Manouever the Bull Market.
SINisSIN post=133162241: We are already in phase 4 of the bull run. Even if BTC will drop, it won't be a blood dip. Just normal retest. Infact we might not see 70k level again till after the bull run..
Higher higher 178k we go!
No need to be jumping in and out of the market now. This is the time to hold, there will be correction but not serious one.
That twitter guy that advise traders to buy XRP is shouting Pepe now. Check it out. It depends on your taste and skills. Know your strength. Like Graceglory, said, he is a holder.
1) Holders make the most money. They have already gotten their bags before others start FOMOing. Have an account for holding promising projects for the bull run...not to be touched, and set your limit sell order/targets. Some exchanges allow this, except Bi.nance, I think.
2) If you know how to trade (it may be from taking reliable calls), have another account to trade spot calls. Solely spots.
3) The last is another account to carefully trade futures. Profits from this can be rolled into more projects on spots for holding for the bull run.
The above is based on your skills. 1 is compulsory. The other two are optional. Number 3 is not advisable if you don't have certain experience/mastery.
So, have separate accounts for all these. For old and new participants on this thread, this is a reminder, especially you SINisSIN. You mentioned one but it is not complete if you want to take full advantage. That is a post I made in February above. |

Also very recently, i got into YFI/USDT coin and i don't know why i feel like that pair would suprise everybody this bull run It is no brainer now. Just looked at what it did last bull run...having more returns than BTC. It will do the same. YFI coin is a sure way if you have the money to purchase whole or half. Its characteristics are just that it moves very fast and can dump very fast...so it's not a coin you sleep on. But very profitable. EDIT: YFII may be a contender, though trust issues. Thta's the ETH of YFI ecosystem. It was delisted on Binance for some reasons sha. |

Mine started on Friday, has anyone experienced it and what’s the possible solution?
I’ve restarted multiple times, contacted their support and taken to their office 2ce now no changes. That's strange, if it still has subscription, change it to 4g or 5g NSA...and reposition the router to somewhere else in the house close to the window or anything. |

Hydronium: I think people are unwilling to shift to solar (particularly power stations) because of the huge one-time cost incurred. They feel like if they buy a generator at 200k, and buy fuel with daily profits, they won't feel the dip in their purse. But in the long run (in less than a year), running a generator is far more expensive.
my estimation for using a (owned) 2.5kva generator (excluding monthly servicing, random frustrations, noise/smoke etc) for 3 hrs daily (which is not even enough to meet my need considering our nepa issues) is exactly 945k which was about the cost of the D2. Dropping that lump sum at once is a problem for many micro/small businesses. I can't even use mine every day, which is why I spend 52k monthly. If I were to use it for 4 hours every day, that means I may spend 4 litres. 4 x N1044 = N4,176. In seven days, that is N29,232. In a month, that is N116,928. In 12 months, that is N1,403,136. That's because they don't want to believe in the data or have not done the calculation objectively. |

What I noticed about the Delta 2 in the little test I did.
Well, while charging at the optimum (fast charge) which is the default setting, the fan came on, but I don't see the big deal out of it like how people made it look like...you go think say na generator noise the fan go make...it was really okay despite drawing 1k+ watts as you can see in the picture above.
Also, certain appliances like my fans, rated 80 watts actually consumed half of their rated wattage. 42 watts. The freezer rated 110 consumed 123. TV rated 60 watts consumed lesser in the 40s...Decoder no even register, i think 3. Router directly did not register, but with battery ups, between 10 - 18. Laptop rated 45 consumed 50.
My review: This is really okay for everyday usage and things...if you want to enjoy it really, add solar panel to use it during the day....
Then, for the End of Discussion, you can go for the extra battery...
This will really eliminate my petrol cost for the month at 54k, by God's grace. |
