That said, how much are you willing to offer by the way? I paid 65k per door (frame inclusive) per unit. Ild be willing to go with the best offer after considering distance and cost of transportation.

u are good to go if your battery is the sealed maintenance free type. dont use tubular type of battery indoors.

Good evening house, I’m in a dilemma with having a inverter setup in my build. Please what type of inverter will work for a compact 4 bed duplex? Say for an area that has 3-4 hours power supply a day (so I don’t exaggerate ) and Ild like for the inverter to give 24 hours light when nepa isn’t available.

I have a 2.5 kw gen that can be used to pump water/ microwave and the likes when there’s no light

I just need the inverter to power;

rechargeable fans ( 4 at most since not all rooms will be occupied 247)

65 inches Hisense tv

Cctv set up, (8 camera’s in total for interior and exterior)

Electric fence (size of fence is about 50 by 50 so nothing so big)

And charge phones.

What k.va will work and Can I kindly get a cost estimate or is there anyone that can be referred here that will give one a solid setup ?

There is no chance controller in my installation, though, I use 1.5kva

Run from the installer, you don't need charge controller for an inverter without solar panel, also the battery he quoted are going to put you into trouble.
Check this thread and post the quotation and ask questions, people will come to your aid with good ideas on how to go about it.

Good morning house. My plumber is done with entire outdoor plumbing and we have 7 (4 inches pipes) left.

He says I should keep it but I insist he takes them and I deduct the money from his balance since he bought the pipes and should know how many would do the job.. 7 is a lot of excess for a 4,000 naira or thereabout pipe per unit.

Am I supposed to keep them or am I right by saying he should take them and I deduct his balance ?


His point is I will build another house hence I should keep it, I said he will collect another job so he should take it and use. Lol

The painter isn't being lazy Engr. That's my preferred option as well and no artisan, builder or engr can convince me otherwise. I will paint first before doing fittings or cabinets anyday, anytime...in fact, I'd even install wooden doors after painting as well. People do things in their own preferred ways for different reasons. The owner of the project should have the final say after getting properly informed on pros and cons of both options.

My personal reasons for choosing to paint first are:
1. to prevent paint stains on fittings, cabinets or wooden doors, which can be quite unsightly for me,
2. to prevent areas of unpainted wall under fittings, which may become exposed in the future if I ever have to replace fittings,
3. dirt on painted wall can be remedied easily, but not so easy for paint stains on fittings and woodwork.
4. the overall finish looks a lot more tidy and professional when painting is done first in my opinion,
5. IT IS MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE
